The best restaurants serving British food in Rushcliffe East Midlands

Just had the most amazing, cod and chips and husband had done meat and salad,the most friendly and cleanest, chipshop I'd ever been in ,a wonderful menu 2nd time we've been ,will definitely be back ,very well worth the drive ,thankyou plumbtree fish bar 👏🏼

Really nice place, best sleep in years

We had the 5 course tasting menu. It certainly was a lot more than that when 3 delicious “snacks”, several beautifully warm homemade bread rolls and a selection of divine petit fours were taken into account! Exquisite food. Excellent service in such a lovely old building. Recommend this fabulous restaurant unreservedly!

Our waitress steph was a pleasure, we came in on Friday evening and had a lovely time, food was good, steph was very nice, my son couldn't decide what he wanted and she was a star, she even suggested my son tried the chicken burger, she even talked him into doubling it up, thank you steph you are a credit to the pub, will be back soon

Eaten and drank here many times now along with my husband and cannot fault it, the food is delicious and drinks always cold and refreshing and they have a good selection of food/drinks, free WiFi, sports on the tele and the staff are always friendly and easy to have a natter to, 100% my fav spot to eat in Bingham ❤️

Great pub, still serves the best Guinness in the vale of belvoir. Friendly staff, great prices.

The barmaid rudely asked us to not stand talking at the bar as we were blocking the way for out of control children to run around. Food was very small in size and beer £6.50 per pint. Not recommended 👎

Fantastic boozer, massive screen outside, loads of comfortable seating and great grub and even better beer. Greene King IPA let me forget about my diabetes. Watched Ireland beat W.Indies easily, sat outside in the sun. Stayed for the evening to watch SpursvUtd in Europa final. Yeah we beat them 1- 0 and I loved it.

Unfortunately recently didn’t have the best afternoon tea experience & we left feeling disappointed; sandwiches seemed dry; no savoury items despite £25 per person price; cakes were nice enough; there was no offer at all to top up our tea

Called in for lunch as we were in the area, very nice decor and friendly staff. Lunch was nice although could have been a little warmer. I don’t like dogs in cafes/restaurants but that is just a personal preference as don’t have a dog, partner has a dog allergy and there were several dogs in there, including an annoying one that kept barking, not the restaurant fault though but just to think about it your not a dog lover! Would visit again though if in the area.

Good food and drink at a good price. Large portions and excellent service.

We arranged a wake here for my father's funeral. It exceeded our expectations. Wonderful service and the food was delicious. Sympathetic and kind staff who were very accommodating. Thank you so much.

Very nice roaring fire in the main bar area. Menu was nice but sadly it took 40 mins for our meal (4) to arrive from ordering. Only one other table having food in our area. The chips were not really chips but skin on wedges, not crisp. Not sure what they were cooked in , the club sandwich was misleading description. It was a ciabatta sandwich . The waiter was good, cheery young man. This is a nice pub but the food we had was fine but sadly not great..
