The best fish and chips in the area. Nothing comes close.

It started with an exceptional dry martini and ended with a frozen mint chocolate chip lollipop stuck in an after eight box. In between was courses and courses of deliciousness, served by lovely relaxed, knowledgeable, passionate team. Don’t spoil the surprises by reading reviews. just go, It is worth it.

Great rack of ribs and always super friendly service. Emma and Michelle are very warm and welcoming each time I visit which after a long day working away from home is just what you need!

A cracking local community pub. Very friendly, cask beer in great condition and fair prices. Dog friendly.

I dropped my motorcycle at JDL Motorcycles in Bingham early in the morning and had some time to kill, so I wandered into Bingham's market square. Number Sixteen is an attractive looking cafe/bistro in the square. I had their Eggs Benedict for breakfast which was excellent and very reasonable at £8.75. I have a bit of a thing for Eggs Bennie which I have tried in different places all over the world and I would rate Number Sixteen in the top 10% globally! The tea was slightly pricey at £3.00 for a cup of Earl Grey, and I would have preferred a pot at that price, but overall it was a great way to kill some time until my motorcycle was fixed.

Met with friends for a leisurely weekend lunch. None of us live locally but this place is in the middle for all of us. I've been here a few times before so recommended it for our meet up. Warm welcome and not rushed at all. The menu was extensive and the food was delicious. The puddings were really good!! This is a lovely country pub to wile away a few hours.

Very nice roaring fire in the main bar area. Menu was nice but sadly it took 40 mins for our meal (4) to arrive from ordering. Only one other table having food in our area. The chips were not really chips but skin on wedges, not crisp. Not sure what they were cooked in , the club sandwich was misleading description. It was a ciabatta sandwich . The waiter was good, cheery young man. This is a nice pub but the food we had was fine but sadly not great..

I will not be eating in Gilt again, I always find the food to be tasteless, poor quality and it’s not cheap either! It’s such a shame, as the place is nice and the outside seating area is fantastic in warmer weather

Second visit for Sunday lunch and I think it was even better than the first visit! Great roast beef dinner with lots of veg and yummy gravy can’t fault it! And the service was excellent too!

Lived in Bingham nearly 5 years and have been in the lion a fair few times to watch football. This is the first time we've been in since it's been done up!!! Got to say that it's brilliant, atmosphere is good with both sides being full, the pool table is in a great position too. We ordered food for the first time too. The foot was excellent pub food and has certainly changed this pub from being just for sport to one where we won't just walk past again !!!! Great, well done on the change !!!!

Taller de elaboración de chocolate de 5 horas ayer, fue una experiencia muy agradable, Jerome es muy conocedor y apasionado por el chocolate, que fue realmente genial cuando estábamos haciendo algo de la cata de chocolate al final (nunca he visto a una persona ser capaz de oler un chocolate y saber de dónde ha venido - él es el genio del chocolate). Tienes que disfrutar de un chocolate caliente como parte de la experiencia después en la cafetería, que es el mejor chocolate caliente que tendrá. Lo recomendaría y volvería a hacer, tengo que llevar un montón de nuestro propio chocolate hecho / decorado a casa también!

We arranged a wake here for my father's funeral. It exceeded our expectations. Wonderful service and the food was delicious. Sympathetic and kind staff who were very accommodating. Thank you so much.

Great pub, still serves the best Guinness in the vale of belvoir. Friendly staff, great prices.

I have been coming to the meadow covert for many years. The food is always great. Perfect portions and always nice and hot. The service is exceptional and the staff are friendly 😊
