Nottingham Knight in Rushcliffe

Whilst away on a training course a friend and I decided to eat and have a couple drinks at the pub. The staff were excellent and we enjoyed the service !! Thanks to Michelle and jay

The food at the restaurant took my notice as the quality was excellent and surprising as a pub attached to the Premier Inn attached. I tried the new Grilled Salmon Fillet dish which was excellent and well worth a try if your into grilled fish. As Pub food goes, this is above standard and well worth a visit. Also, I found the staff very friendly and very attentive to my needs and every other visitor within the pub. well worth a visit.

We have had amazing breakfasts here a few times, hence the return. On this occasion, however, it was not as enjoyable. Not sure if there were problems in the kitchen but on ordering a flat white coffee we were told there was only americano or tea available. We then waited 50 minutes for our food (although the waitress did apologise for wait beforehand) when only my husbands came out, I waited another few minutes and for some bizarre reason, was given extra mushrooms in a separate dish!! Unfortunately the bacon was not the best and my egg had been put on top of it, perhaps to hide it! The black pudding was cold and my sourdough toast had only been "shown" the toaster and was just hard on one side and soft on the other. Then whilst the waitress was taking payment for the bill the chef came out of the kitchen to tell her he couldn't do the scrambled eggs as he didn't have any milk!!!! Sad to say this experience has put us off returning for a while.

We were not greeted pleasantly and seated on a table that had dried gravy all over it. The drink order was taken promptly but with no pleasantries. Despite 2 of us asking for lemon in our drinks we didn't get any. The lime in my brother's drink was oxidised and smelt bad so should have been replaced. We ordered Sunday lunch for 5 and was told at 1.15 pm there was no beef left. Strangley we saw a clear bin bag of Yorkshire puddings (over 50) being given to a waiting customer! The amount of vegetables with the lunches was minimal. The Yorkshire puddings were dry and crispy. The pork was cold. No check back was done. The final insult was when the waiting staff scraped the left over food onto other plates infront of us. My father said "do you mind?" to the waitress to be given a dirty look. Scraping plates at the table is a big No. It's a kitchen job. Make more trips if necessary...use a tray if necessary, but never scrape plates at the table ! My family always tip well for good service but sadly we paid our bill and left unhappily This is a general management problem. The staff are only as good as the training and support they receive and the standards that can be copied from 'the top'.

had a great valentine’s day dinner, the food was amazing and great service from emma who was very busy but still managed to serve us quickly and was very nice too :) even packed our food to take home when we couldn’t finish

We booked for 45 people then increased to 47 as staying at adjoining hotel and at cheerleading competition so ages 4-54. We gave them a preorder or main meals to help them the evening before and they were very attentive and accommodating. The food was hot, tasty and good value for money. Plenty of clean plates at the end of it. Our parents paid individually which was great and some of them had voucher codes which was also taken off for some. we also had a birthday and brought a cake which they brought out lit for us so we could sing to her and then gave knife and plates at no additional costs to them which was a kind touch t. The staff were lovely and service was good, if visiting again we would definitely be back. Thank you for looking after us.

We ate at the Nottingham Knight as a group of 6, a really good atmosphere with decent prices as well. We ate on a Sunday afternoon and whilst it was busy, the customer service we received from the team was spot on.

We went to the Nottingham knight with family and friends. We were a table of 8 on Wednesday lunchtime. We had just come from my grandads memorial service. The staff were so friendly and helpful and bent over backwards to make sure we were in a lovely quiet area and undisturbed. I want to thank everyone who served us and looked after us that day. You all did an amazing job and the food was delicious. You are all a credit to your pub. Thank you guys.

Called in for an anniversary lunch.Ordered the vegetable pie,chips,peas and gravy.The knife couldn't cut the crust of the pie and when I asked if the gravy was vegetarian the waiter replied "I think so". Not a good experience with the food, won't be back.
