Tiffin in Rushcliffe

I have been to Tiffins many times, for brunch and afternoon tea. The food and service is always great. On Sunday we had a birthday celebration with 13 of us having afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was brilliant and they made sure that all dietary requirements and allergies were catered for very well including vegan, vegetarian, and epipen allergies. We look forward to lots more visits soon!

Really disappointed after recommending! We walked in around 2.45 today after googling that the tearoom closed at 4 so thought we had plenty of time! The young lady came over to take orders, we asked for a ham sandwich battenburg and scone, to be told we only had a minute as the kitchen was closing! After enquiring in the kitchen we were told we couldn’t have a sandwich as there was a back order (everyone was served) We had the other orders as my friend didn’t want anything sweet the assistant failed to tell us you don’t serve original Coca Cola when we placed the order so had to send at back. Was so disappointed that you couldn’t ‘ knock up a sandwich’ then to notice the cook had managed to make herself an omelette and salad and eat in tearoom in less than an hour before closing even though the menu only states they stop serving hot food an hour before closing Very poor customer service!!

Great tea and cake. nice staff and set up. Didn't break the bank either, can see why it's popular.

Came here for afternoon tea to celebrate my sister's birthday. Had a really lovely time. The food was lovely. The decorations were set for Christmas and they looked lovely. It was a really quaint little place. We were able to choose the sandwiches we wanted to share. The scones were still warm and extremely delicious. And there were 8 little cakes between the 2 of us. We will definitely be going back again. I love afternoon tea.

Very disappointing. I've been to Tiffin many times, but I won't be returning after today's experience. It was lunch time, but not very busy. Service was poor, one of our meals had been almost finished by the time the other appeared, and that after prompting. I even had to remind them that we'd ordered coffee. I was not the only customer having a meal that contained unexpected ingredients that I would usually avoid either. Such a shame.

Had a gorgeous afternoon tea with a group of friends one Saturday. The staff were really friendly, attentive and warm, and the food and drink were delicious! I’ve rebooked again for my birthday - yum! Thanks for the lovely tea :)

Been here a few times now abd the breakfast never disappoints. We've just had the best eggs benedict we've ever had. It gets better every time, not a scrap left!

Booked in for afternoon tea today for my mum's 80th birthday. Couldn't fault the food,service was excellent. Special price for October. Look forward to visiting again. Thank you we all enjoyed it

Love Tiffin, always a pleasant experience but the afternoon tea we had on Thursday was particularly good. Took daughter and also my Mum and Sister who were visiting England. They all loved there were plenty of sandwiches and lots of variety of cakes. Staff lovely and accommodating as always.

Great place to have some afternoon tea. It’s a real gem. Food is great, staff are very friendly. They even do take away cake for when you need to pop in and get you cake fix but in a rush. Highly recommend

the waiting staff were great and accompanied us very well however the management staff were quite frankly rude and did not care for a small table when they have a massive party next door, the food was average but do not appreciate the way i was spoken to. i feel sorry for the front of house staff. honestly would not be coming here again

Love the Welsh Rarebit, super tasty. Also the cafe always has a homely atmosphere to eat in and friendly, welcoming owners.

We came to visit family in Notts last weekend and I'm happy we chose Tiffin tea rooms. The staff were so friendly and warm, it made the experience a pleasure before I'd even started eating. Lovely atmosphere and delicious cakes. I had the peanut butter and chocolate and my boyfriend had the coffee and walnut, double yum. Thanks Tiffin, can't wait to come back for our next trip and try some more flavours.

The most amazing lunch every time we go. They have beautiful cakes and all types of teas too - a real treat. The food was perfect, so delicious and good value for money. I love the cosy and friendly atmosphere. The staff were really attentive and thoughtful. Wonderful local buiness. Would highly recommend!

A great little tea room. We went for brunch. The hot chocolate was amazing, thick and very chocolatey. I had the Welsh rabbit, was the best I've every had. A hearty portion and good value for money. My partner had the breakfast. The sausages were proper sausages, high quality. The staff were very friendly and checked on us yo make sure we were OK. Can't wait to go back and try more of the food. Everything looks so delicious that was coming out of the kitchen.

Still the best value little cafe in West Bridgford despite all the troubles that small businesses are currently suffering. Their quiche is the best I have tasted, I keep trying to make it at home and can't get it as good. They always have a fabulous range of cakes and all the food is fresh and homemade. Don't forget "USE IT OR LOSE IT!" how many small businesses are disappearing each month?

Excellent food and especially good coffee. Staff were helpful and friendly. I reckon it’s the best value for money for breakfast or lunch in this area of Nottingham. Will definitely be back.

The service and staff attitudes were terrible. We were asked to pre book our food a couple of days in advance So we could eat together as we were a group of 9. This was not the case. Food arrived all over the place people's sides arrived well before their mains. Most people even finished their mains before others even received theirs. We attended for a birthday and was told by management at the time of booking we could bring and consume our own cake. Staff on the day said they could only provide us napkins to consume cake off the premises. There are more issues that I have emailed management with, twice in 3 weeks but yet have had no reply.

Brough my wife here for her birthday as a surprise, can not fault anything from start to finish. Service was exceptional and so was the food.

Service was great, food and choice was fantastic. Management or senior staff not so great. I didn’t approve of the way the waiting staff were spoken to when around customers (us) due to some sort of bill or payment issue. A nasty taste was left in my mouth, thankfully not from the food! This aside, I would go again.

Having been here a couple of times , I have been extremely satisfied with the service and food. Recently, it has become very busy (good thing for small businesses), but not enough staff to cover. It seemed a little disorganised, and we waited nearly 30 minutes for a drink. I did raise this and was told the message wasn't passed. With that being said, the food is excellent if you don't mind the wait.

My husband had a wonderful cooked breakfast while I had poached eggs with smoked salmon on toast. Very pleasant, hard working and kind staff. Definitely recommend! It was the start of our 44th wedding anniversary day and an ideal treat to start the day. Thank you Tiffin!

Delicious afternoon tea, very fresh sandwiches & cakes/scones. Tea was stronger than usual, a pot of hot water to dilute would be good (provided on request). Very pretty tea room, only thing that could have been improved was clearing of tables more promptly - used crockery is not attractive! Good value too.

We booked afternoon tea a surprise for our Mum for Mothers day. Food was fresh and delicious and all dietary needs met. The cakes are made to perfection and I think the scone was the best I had ever had with any afternoon tea previously...

Do book if you go. We went on a Sunday late morning and only just got a space. I had the advocado hit which was tasty even if the toast was a little hard. Service wasn't bad considering it was so busy.

Gorgeous little tea room, great coffee, staff friendly and efficient. Food fresh and tasty, more than average kids' menu. Cute little bone china mismatched teacups, delicious-looking cake, will definitely go back!

I ordered the 'Avocado hit' - which is beautiful grilled halloumi, avocado and sun blushed tomatoes on toasted ciabatta.... it was sooooo tasty!! Would definitely recommend. A perfect breakfast choice I think.

We had an absolutely love afternoon tea at Tiffin this week. The atmosphere was so lovely, there was plenty of space at the table for the teapots, stand of goodies etc. The sandwiches were lovely, grewat choices, the mini cakes were delicious and the scones were perfectly warm with plenty of jam and cream! Great value for money too : )

Very good tea selection and the masala chai was great. They stop serving food after 3pm so that was a bit disappointing. Otherwise it was ok. Not quite what I expected because it had so many good reviews raving about it. In my opinion it was a bit old fashioned and plain. Id say good tea + cake, otherwise nothing special. Their smoothies are vegan though which is a plus.

Cake is very good, but service can often be slow and the afternoon tea takeaway didn't represent great value for money we thought.

Gorgeous, traditional little tea room. Coffee and a slice of the Carrot cake is absolutely delicious! Also a great spot for a hearty brunch, would highly recommend the Eggs Benedict. You won't be disappointed! X

Wonderful authentic English Tea House experience. Outstanding service and setting. Loved the huge selection of home made cakes.

We ordered around 150 mini cakes for a party, including some gluten free and vegan. The order process was so easy on the website and collection was simple too. The cakes were amazing! Nearly everyone commented on how lovely they tasted and how great the flavours were. The variety on the gluten free and vegan ones was also great. Would definitely order again! (It’s also a great spot for breakfast or brunch!)

Had a lovely Baby Shower at Tiffin. The staff were so wonderful, and we had afternoon tea which was delicious! We were allowed to decorate the place before our booking time, and was provided our own room for the occasion. Very much appreciated that they were able to accommodate Halal and Vegan options for us too (this was booked in advance). Will definitely recommend Tiffin for any type of event/occasion.

Tiffin is a cosy and friendly tea room; interesting range of teas and good coffee and a vast variety of home made cakes. Welsh rarebit is delicious too. Staff and customers always seem happy so eating here is an enjoyable experience

I had organised to go here as a family. It was the first Mother’s Day for me and my sister and we wanted to go somewhere close to home and for it to be special. There was no room for any prams, despite me saying there would be two prams and two babies when booking, we were initially asked to leave the prams outside which would leave us with nowhere for babies to sleep through lunch and I have already had my pram stolen once! In the end One pram was allowed in and the other had to be walked back to the car and retrieved later in order to carry baby back to where we had parked. During our visit we were given a high chair for my niece only for the staff to ask for it back when another family arrived- what a joke! The toilet had no toilet roll and the baby changing area was very grubby. The only positive was that the cakes were lovely. Unfortunately the bread for the sandwiches was slightly stale and our entire party left disappointed on what should have been such a special day. We won’t be visiting again.

La casa de té estaba muy ocupada un sábado por la tarde, pero el personal muy joven se las arregló maravillosamente para servir todas las mesas, tomar nuestros pedidos y asegurarse de que tuviéramos todo lo necesario para una tarde exitosa. El té de la tarde era delicioso, muchos bocadillos, deliciosos mini pasteles en varios sabores y bollos con mermelada y crema de leche. El té, el café y el jugo estaban incluidos en el precio y pudimos pedir Prosecco para disfrutar con nuestra comida.La única pega que tengo es que no se nos permitió proporcionar nuestro propio pastel, que fue decepcionante ya que horneé uno para el baby shower de mi hija cuando tuvo su primer hijo.Recomendaría Tiffin Teahouse a familiares y amigos.

Great selection of very tasty food and stunning cakes. I was spoilt for choice so will have to go back again and again. Staff are friendly. The place has a lovely feel, book early as it is very popular.

Visitamos hoy para obtener algo de comida y al llegar nos informaron que nuestro cochecito no estaba permitido bajo su política, pero nuestro bebé podía sentarse en una silla alta. Le expliqué que solo tenía 5 meses y que no podía sentarse en una silla alta por más de unos pocos minutos y queríamos comida, por lo que sería impráctico. Me dijeron que esa era la única opción y que mi cochecito tenía que salir afuera en caso de que estuvieran ocupados. Teniendo en cuenta que solo éramos una pareja más en todo el lugar, me pareció muy inútil esta respuesta, así que nos fuimos y trajimos comida a otra parte. Aunque el personal fue educado al decirme que mi hijo no era bienvenido en su cochecito con sonrisas en sus caras. Nunca regresare. Tampoco ninguno de mis amigos y familiares con bebés. No puedo comentar sobre comidas o bebidas ya que no nos quedamos ni fuimos bienvenidos el tiempo suficiente para probarlo.

Fue recomendado para ir aquí, estaba lleno cuando llegamos allí, pero afortunadamente alguien se fue así que definitivamente reservaría en el futuro. Mucha variedad en su menú. Ambos elegimos sándwich club, pan de nuez, pollo, brie. Viene con una ensalada y papas fritas, muy buena relación calidad-precio para 6. 95. Demasiado lleno para probar uno de los bellos pasteles caseros. . . por cierto cada rebanada era masiva.

Tenía un vale de 10 regalos para Tiffin que expiró dos semanas antes de que recordara intentar usarlo. Se negaron a honrarlo. Estaban dentro de sus derechos para hacerlo. Está claramente escrito en el comprobante que vencen en la fecha indicada. A pesar de esto, significa que han tenido el uso del efectivo durante todo este tiempo y ahora se lo han regalado esencialmente.

Came across this delightful teashop when visiting freinds.What a fantastic place,menu,prices and very freindly staff.This is a hidden Gem in West Bridgford would reccomend to anyone.The food all freshly prepared is by far and away the best value for money around.Visit soon-You will not be dissapointed

The best place I have been to for cake. I have been several times and I'm never disappointed. Fab selection of cakes and tea. Can always been trusted to deliver amazing cake at good prices.

The place itself is ok - looks a bit of a mash up inside but I guess that’ll be under the umbrella of “vintage”!

Came to meet family here for mother in laws birthday. Menu a little limited however some really nice ‘good old home cooking’ favourites. Decided to have a classic club sandwich. Was really surprised at the amount of food crammed into it. Well presented ( well to start with) as everything seemed to fall out but found it easier to dismantle and eat like that anyway. Really enjoyed it and it was a nice change rather than choosing to go to a pub for lunch time food. We will definitely be going again. Only downside was there was a little slow on the service but again it was rather busy and didn’t really mind as we were sat outside in the sun.

We booked afternoon tea here as a treat after picking my daughter’s wedding dress up from over the road. Service was so poor. Vegetarian food was put on the same plate as ham and when I asked for it to be changed I watched the waitress moan to her colleague and watched them pull faces. We waited too long for a simple glass of water because the waitress forgot. All in all the whole process let us down on what should have been s lovely experience. We won’t go back. Maybe customer service training will help.

Called in for take-away sausage sandwiches for my 8 year old nephew and I to start our Easter break off nicely.

They do the best hot chocolate! The girls had fruit smoothies which were really thick & yummy plus a basket of chunky chips.

The food is lovely . Comfort food lovely fish finger sandwiches and croque Madame . The portions are generous . Waiting time is a bit too long but my main criticism is the noise which seems to travel around this small cafe

We saw a Facebook message on mother's day to say tables were available after 3 for tea and cake so my daughter ask me if iwould like to pop in i got ready and arrived about 315 and were told they were full booked all afternoon the staff were very rude and when we ask if we could wait a while we were rudely told no point you will be wasting your time then said bye such an awful customer service we have been a few time and the staff never smile and their customer service leaves alot to be desired and why advertise to come after 3 knowing you have no tables awful very disappointed

We've visited Tifin and loved it. Until the day we stepped in with my toddler sleeping in her pushchair. It was only the two of us and her pushchair is not bulky at all. It would not take more space than a regular chair as it could be half pushed under the table AND the store was more than half empty. I was told that there is nothing they can do and that I'll have to leave the pushchair outside.

My wife and I were recommended by friends to try Tiffins as they said how good it was especially the home made Welsh Rarebit which my wife had and it was excellent and I had the breakfast omelette which again was extremely good , the staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere with a mix of people and ages , there was a good choice on the menu and also a good range of teas to choose from so if one is in the mood for a cup of tea ☕️ or coffee or cake or simple home made food then try Tiffins you want be disappointed we went and will go back .

Always a lovely experience. Not cheap prices but while ever they are happy for you to share what you buy then I will keep going! Took my Mum here for a hot chocolate and a cake - both absolutely delicious and lovely ambiance.

It looks as though this place is good for afternoon teas and cakes but the rest of the food was not great at all and expensive for the poor quality and portion size. We found Tiffin to be good for just a cup of tea or coffee or even a good quality lunch from their comprehensive menu. They have a wonderful range of freshly baked cakes (dare I say Gateaux) some of which are Gluten Free.

Popped in for tea and cake and wasn't disappointed. Toffee apple scone with clotted cream so flavoursome. Orange, pumpkin and sultana cake, nice and moist, light and very tasty. Pot of tea enough for four so went away well fed and watered. Definitely worth a visit.

Went there with the Mrs- thought it was relaxed and good simple produce served with little or no fuss ( just how I like it for tea & cakes) would certainly recommend it & visit again.

Classic old-English style vintage tearoom complete with bunting, floral wallpaper and oldywoldy music, perfect vibe for a meet up and natter with friends tucked away from the busier nearby Central Avenue (downtown West Bridgford). Brilliant range of teas to choose from, generous portions of cake and the bestest vegetarian lasagne. Side salads nice, not the usual two leaves with a slice of tomato but proper full salads with olives etc.

Lovely staff, even though they were about to close they gave us excellent service. Homemade scone was one of the best I ever had & my tea was a smokey flavour from China. Very unique something like I'd never tasted before. Will be back with my boyfriend & loyality card. We have fallen in love with this quaint little place, delicious scones & beautiful vintage surroundings.

Tiffin of West Bridgford is a quaint little place it's decor is vintage serving a good portion of tea and cake plus other food at a reasonable price. The staff are very attentive and friendly . If you want a touch of tradition visit here it's lovely,quiet and parking available on streets nearby if outside busy.
