Lovely steak the lady chef that cooked and served us our food was lovely we are going back today hoping she's the chef

It’s a fantastic pub, a special building, great selection of drinks, great food, great owners, and a good ambiance and atmosphere. Really good screens for the football too.

Really good pies. Friendly service. Good choice of beers.

Close to the city centre and easy to find parking nearby, though spaces can be limited. My fourth visit. Never disappoints. The interior is warm, cosy, and well-renovated, with big TVs. The food quality is consistently good, and the prices are very reasonable, especially for West Bridgford. Highly recommend.

Went for dinner on a Sunday, quiet to start with, but staff are warm and friendly and the food is delicious. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing day today to Lady Bay pub. Christmas dinner was fantastic. We love how welcome Ali, Paul, Dawn and all the staff make you feel. Not rushed in and out. Fantastic atmosphere. Merry Christmas guys, put ur feet up now. You all deserve it

Had a Christmas meal there today and it was the best I've had for years. The staff and service were great. I'd definitely go again.

Its been a few years since visiting. Simply love this real old style local and the Lady Bay area.

Love the lady bay! All the staff are super lovely and attentive. Food is hot and fresh to order and the drinks are poured perfectly. Ollie and Freddie were great! This wasn’t our first visit and certainly won’t be our last :-)

Beautiful refurb and nice menu, spotless with good service quiet on the day we popped in I just find the cost too much for stuff like fish and chips that's put us off ever returning, it was decent enough and arrived promptly, but the cost is a biggie for folks nowadays I detest bringing up issues with servers, as I know it's a demanding job, but the young lady hovered slightly in the background, instead of removing stuff after we'd gone and left. it's a beautiful refurb though with clean toilets

I visited the pub tonight and ordered myself and my work colleague some food . When the food come out it looked fine but when I started my eating I found a long hair in my food which wasn’t great . I told the staff which they took away to sort and bring my meal back . When it came out for a second time I started eating to find another hair in my meal which is just a piss take in my opinion . Still ended up paying for the food . Not happy at all to be honest

Wow what a great place to eat. The decor is very on trend too. My husband and I had excellent burger meals. The service was extremely fast. The chef even came out to check our order as my husband has dietary requirements. Management and staff very friendly. Will definitely return and would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Nice clean pub area & beer garden is lovely only downside is the ladies toilets had not been checked since 11-12noon & when attending at 5pm there was toilet roll all over the floor & stunk of urine, not the most pleasant experience & would put me off returning for food.

An absolute fantastic meal with friendly and attentive staff. Not local and made to feel very welcome. Definitely return when in the area. My mum who is 82 actually cleared her plate, the first time in weeks! What a great place!!

Met up with a friend for a midweek lunch. It was perfect for us. Plenty of parking and tasty food. The service was friendly and attentive, we were made to feel welcome. I had a veggie burger and my friend had a chicken wrap and we both enjoyed them. We'll meet there again, I'm sure.

I went here with friends for pre drinks and food before the Take That concert at the Forest ground. Perfect spot to get parking and an easy walk to the stadium. The pub had a brilliant atmoshpere and despite being busy the staff served everyone quickly including food. The food was tasty and great value. Really friendly staff that enjoy talking to customers. Definitely recommend, a hidden gem in West Bridgford.

We went there before going to a concert at the City ground, it was also FA cup final day so really busy. The staff were really friendly and helpful, service was very good especially when they were so busy. The food was all very good. Nice location.

I’ve just had a stall at the Lady Bay Arts trail and couldn’t have wished for a better location in the pub garden of The Lady Bay pub. We had such a warm welcome from Dawn and all the staff were friendly and helpful. What a fantastic weekend seeing so many enjoying the sun with live music and a great atmosphere.

A busy little pub , would go again

Food was up to the standards I hoped for as hearing a lot positive comments about this pub ,however the atmosphere and customer service was very poor. Felt discriminated when ordering food and soft drinks, before I could get a word in I immediately got interrupted for ID in a rude manner. It would be nice to either have music or the TV on for background noise. Probably won’t be returning. Thanks.

Great staff, great atmosphere always have a Good laugh when Paul is on! Helpful with our kids always entertaining them. Always know where to go for a chilled out lunch or a cuppa before schools out!

A family gathering where some enjoyed the food and football and I enjoyed the Sunday lunch! Good atmosphere, tasty lunch and good portion size too. Not sure so many screens are really necessary but I’m not a fan of the beautiful game. There’s even one outside!!!!

We love the LadyBay! Had so many great days and nights in here with family and friends. Always looked after and made to feel welcome. Just home from a family meal to celebrate Joe’s 18th - brilliant! Thanks for being a great local 🙌😁

Nice place to go before the rugby

We went for a Mother’s Day lunch. The food was really tasty and the staff were so friendly with my kids - they made us feel very welcome. There was a craft station with stickers, print outs, envelopes, pens and crayons - all the things for kids to make a Mother’s Day card. It was a lovely touch - they’d obviously gone above and beyond. The pub was lovely and clean and well decorated. We will return!

A typical pub with typical pub food. Scampi and chips, or gammon, or fish and chips for example. I rate it because it isn't a gastro pub or anything pretentious,just good pub food as it should be

What I mostly love about this pub... The fact they're still here with the same owners since I've been coming to West Bridgford (20 years). Having a steak sandwich while writing this review, yummy lovely steak. Should have gone for a steak on its own, it's that good 😋😍

Don't serve coffee on match days as so busy they fear scading - quite happy to serve hot food all day, though. Poor attitude.

What a hidden gem of a place. Their Sunday dinner was one of the best I've ever experienced. These guys are going to be one tough act to follow. I'm lost for words to explain how great they are.

A very friendly pub with great selection of drinks. Staffs are friendly, I especially loves the coffee (yes they do amazing coffee) and using the app to order drinks when the place gets busy!!! Great atmosphere on bingo nights Sunday. We also love the Katsu curry on the menu portion is so generous every time it's like man vs food. Currently the pub is doing happy hours at the weekend so definitely worth checking out!!!

Had a family Sunday dinner here. For a family that usually enjoys amazing home cooked food, this one lived up to the expectations! The food was incredible! The terrace was lovely to sit at on a sunny day and service was friendly. Definitely recommend

Nice pub prices reasonable good for sport

Lovely pub and lovely staff. We had a lunch time cheese burger which was really good not dry like a lot of pubs serve it. The landlords are always very friendly and welcoming, wish we lived a little closer as it would be our favourite local.

Had an amazing time here with mates who live nearby, 3 of us had the blue cheese & bacon burger and it was honestly the best burger I have had this year! Service was top and the pool was good fun too 👌🏻

What an incredible place. A real feast for the eyes with something to see in every room. Can get very busy, how’ve we there is plenty of rooms to explore and enjoy.

Nicely furnished with lovely mixes of decors. Outside sitting is enjoyable on a sunny afternoon.

Friendly service but por quality food. I had steak pie which was nearly all pastry with gravy and a few pieces of meat, some of which was chewy. Vegetables were limp.

This was my local pub for two years while the partner was at uni. The house was in there ever weekend (2021-2021). Fantastic local, friendly staff, good food and welcoming to all groups. Still miss it.
