A really stunning area. The castle is beautiful and the eatery benefits from the most beautiful landscape views. The menu is good. The service is good. I do feel the dinners work out better value than the lunches (panninis etc), The lunches are very tasty but a tad expensive in relation to the cooked meals. Great it accepts dogs obviously. The stroll from car park is easy. Overall highly recommended for the views, ambience and good quality food.

Went to this restaurant yesterday for Sunday lunch which was fabulous. Crispy toast potatoes, mash, cabbage and carrot and turnip all lovely, chicken moist, beef tender good flavour and bellypork to die for. Sticky toffee pudding for desert with lashings of sauce and ice cream. Excellent service always with a smile . Thank you to everybody who made it an enjoyable lunch especially the chef.😁

Have been here before and been better impressed. The food was OK, quite good even but I'm not sure how good a bagel has to be to be worth £14 and I'm not sure this was it. . The service was pleasant and engaged but the tea, one de-caf, one peppermint, were a long way short of piping hot.

The team work hard to make your experience a memorable one. The food is excellent and the service is friendly and professional. The standard is higher than you might expect at a local restaurant which makes it such a super local gem. Run by a family it really shows when celebrating a family occasion. The chefs are clearly very experienced and know what excellent looks and tastes like. The steaks and seafood are really really good. Don't miss the apple pie either!

The Jam Garden is such a cozy spot with a great vibe, I love visiting there with my family and friends! The staff are super friendly and make you feel very welcome. Their artisan pizzas are absolutely delicious. The whole place just has a really welcoming feel. Whether you’re grabbing a drink or chilling in the beer garden, it’s definitely a place worth visiting in Loughborough.

I booked a table for two just the day before and had the most delicious lunch. The Manager was very welcoming and attentive when necessary (which it wasn't!). The waiting staff were delightful, polite, discreet and at no time were we rushed. Our lunch was mouth waveringly good, a real treat, perfect proportions and it was lovely to have a brief chat with the chef on our way out. Thank you very much.

My wife & I took out disabled son to The Fox Hunters for the 1st time last Friday after school. The atmosphere was nice and chilled for him, and the staff were fantastic (especially Wendy). The food was great, and he really enjoyed his visit. It's a great family-friendly pub and well worth a visit!

My wife and I stayed in a local pub where the food was nothing great and overpriced. We decided to try the chippy on our second night. Best chippy dinner we had eaten in years. No frills top fish and chips. Not the healthiest of menus, but a rare treat nevertheless. To paraphrase McArthur, ‘We shall return!’

Me and my friends went to this place but we regret it.Questionable food hygiene, two of us had diarrhea and stomach issues after. It seems that they throw into the food whatever is around and is very much overpriced.Worst thing is the staff with attitude, they are only friendly with a certain type of people.Avoid, there are way better options in the area!!
