Bistro Mokka in Leeds

We had a wonderful meal which was very tasty and fresh. The appetiser of pizza and dips was a welcome extra, while we decided on drinks. Great service for the staff

First off it looks like we were all over charged for our food. Salmon should be £17.95 according to the menu and I was charged £18.95 similar to my friends we were all charged a £1 extra. Food was mediocre at best service was not friendly we were given zero time from seated to getting asked about drinks. Only one drinks menu for 4 of us. Two guests were still looking at the menu when we were asked about food. It looked like a child had put the giro together. My husband basically paid £18.95 for fish and chips. Looked at desert menu I order the cheesecake. £6.50 for a martini glass of cheesecake that was nothing more than whipped cream defrosted strawberry and the smallest bit of biscuit. Two guests had baklava for same price and the portion was huge. Plus ice cream. Cannot understand why this place is buzzing with people most nights. It was our first time and our impression was not great. Don’t think I’d give it a second chance. Wish we would have left off the tip.

Usually absolutely love Zorbas, recommend it to everyone! But the food definitely wasnt up to scratch this time round. The mushroom starter barely had any mushrooms in it and was mainly onion. The sauce was sickly and didnt taste very nice. £7.50 for a tiny piece of bruschetta covered in sauce and onions pretty much - very disappointing. Mousaka was average, always loved it here so unsure if recipe been changed but it didnt wow me. My friend had the open gyros which was lacking meat; few scraps of chicken curls on the plate with little triangular pieces of bread which doesnt really work with this dish? Few chips and salad. Again, for £18 this certainly isnt value for money. Hope to see you improve Zorbas so I can come back! 🙏

rude big lady was debating about how they have had their business for twenty years…when all we asked for is a little sauce on a bolognese pasta which makes it bland and expensive for the state. might as well visit across the road

I ordered the chicken in white sauce and mushrooms. The waiter came round to see if everything ok and I told him no my chicken was tough and off he went, I thought to let the chef/owner know but nothing came of it There were 7 of us and not wanting to spoil it for everyone I waited until we were leaving and discreetly went to have a word with the owner just to let her know that the chicken was tough and that's why I had left it. She more or less called me a liar and said it wasn't tough,and didn't apologize or anything. I had already paid in full so just left it at that but was very disappointed with the owner's response and the meal. I certainly would not eat here again.

We have eaten here several times and recently visited with a party of 8 for a birthday meal. Everything was perfect. We ordered Souvlaki, Gyros, Moussaka and Seabass - all dishes were hot, well presented and arrived in good time. The staff work incredibly hard and are always friendly. Definitely my favourite restaurant in West Yorkshire.

Had a fantastic time over at Locus Bar a couple of weeks ago, really friendly staff and a great selection of drinks - really busy when I was there as well. My favourite spot in Cross Gates, will be back.

We are local to zorbas and it's been really suggested. Went there to celebrate a birthday with my wife. We got the early bird and everything was so testy and fresh made. Starter: fried feta cheese, crunchy outside and moistury inside. Grilled salmon was satisfying and my moussaka did remind my holiday in Greece. The staff is professional and fast. It wotlrths the prices and main portions are considerably big.

At last booked to dine here and we are asking ourselves why have we never been here before!! On entering the restaurant we were given a warm greeting by the waitress and such a great atmosphere in the place. The food was amazing, I have had Kleftiko many times on our visits to Greece and this was just as good. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection too. We were celebrating our daughters birthday and the staff even sang happy birthday to her(although we have no idea how they knew!) Highly recommend this place and we will be back

First time trying this place even though only 10 minutes away from us. Really lovely evening, very friendly welcoming owners. We had the halloumi starter to share which was yum & mousakka & beef main… too full for desert! Everything was delicious… we will definitely return thank you!

My why treated me with a meal here last week for my birthday, as she knows I like Greek food. We came for the set meal and loved that, but the main menu is also fab. Wonderful, absolutely wonderful.
