What a superb find ! A warm welcome from friendly and very attentive staff and great food. Called in on Sunday 22nd September without booking and had a great Sunday lunch at a very reasonable price. So impressed that we booked and returned on Thursday 26th and both had sirloin steak at lunchtime, equally superb. Just a few miles from such places as Chipping Campden and Broadway where you will be charged 3 times the price for the fare that they palm the Americans and Japanese off with. Hats off to the Landlord/ landlady and all the staff !

Just moved to the area, decided to book for Sunday lunch. Shown to a table in front of an open window. My mother being susceptible to drafts, moved to another table. Then we were told that table was specifically requested and we should move back. I explained the situation but was patronisingly rebuffed rather rudely by the manager. I said if that was the case we'd eat elsewhere and promptly and angrily left. One thing's for certain, we won't be returning to The Trumpet again!

Called in today, with my family, we were treated really well, very welcoming, we just wanted a light lunch for the kids, just chips and even though they were fully booked for lunch they fitted us in. The staff there are absolutely brilliant , chatty and smiley. We will definitely be returning to sample more of the menu. 5 stars from me as they are dog friendly too 😃

Great pub with excellent drink selection, and well cooked and reasonably priced food. Kylie, one of the staff, is extremely pleasant and professional.

Good hot home-cooked food (steak pie and scampi), pleasant service. Clean toilets but In places looking a little tired.

Absolutely recommend! Excellent food at affordable prices! Drinks are about the same price as most places. Service was fantastic. Will definitely be returning next year!

Nice friendly pub served food but we didn't eat there.

Piping hot, tasty food served in a generous portion. I had lasagne and my partner had the liver and mash. They were both delicious. The service was friendly, even though the pub was busy and the prices were terrific. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend for honest food with that home comfort feel.

Traditional pub with a range of good beers and friendly staff. The restaurant is popular and the food excellent. Highly recommended.

Ate at The Trumpet twice while visiting the area. Good beer,several different ones to try,food very good only complaint if it is one was that the portions are large even the smaller ones. Will be back when are in the area again. Very pleasant staff and friendly environment.

I grew up near Hook Norton so was pleased to find this pub selling Hook Norton beers. I have visited twice and both times the beer was sour, today it tasted more like Kombucha. I shall be reporting this back to the brewery, a family owned business which take great pride in their product.

Can't recommend pie night enough, every Wednesday the most delicious steak, mushrooms and red wine pie. Other pies available, also various other delicious options. A great meal from as little as £7! Warm friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic place. Food was lovely, service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxing.

Don’t ever go here they are very rude staff rubbish quality food and beer. Ordered two steak pies which were so chewy we could not eat. So sent back and was told to not come back even though they were paid for. Avoided this place at all cost.

We googled dog friendly pubs that serve Sunday roasts and the Trumpet came up. Excellent value for money. Huge platefuls with loads of tender beef and good mix of vegetables. Really pleased we found you! Thank you. Friendly and efficient too.

Ordered fish and chips. the worsed fish I've ever seen. Batter was almost black and rock hard. it was replaced by another slightly better colour of black but just as bad.

Very nice home cooked food great costumer service. Highly recommend. Had steak and ale pie which was full of meat. Great pub food.

The loyalty of the 'regulars' not only provides a great atmosphere, but provides testimony to why this is such a popular venue. Good, solid standards are 'the norm' and there's no pretentious frills and fancy, but that is what provides the charm and character. This pub caters for its regulars really well, and because they are catered for so well, they have no issues with all of the 'non-regulars' sharing in their 'World'. A win-win situation. A tourist attraction in its own right!

Only popped in for a drink, but the food passing by looked too good to miss. I had faggots, chips & peas, the wife had roast pork with all the trimmings. Both were delicious! The bar staff and the locals were all really friendly and made the experience even better. Every other table was reserved so I’d recommend booking. As a real ale fan I liked the fact that Hook Norton brewery supplied 4 real ales and I plumped for “old hooky” which was as good as ever!

Yes dogs allowed ✔️ yes five minutes to order food ✔️ Gave drinks and food order the kitchen refused to do our order???? How bad service is that if I was manager I’d be looking for new staff definitely bad X

Great value 3 meals and 3 drinks for a paltry £38. My medium rare sirloin was delicious. The pies were also tasty.

Traditional old pub a little away from the town centre but well worth seeking out.Good range of Hook Norton ales and excellent reasonably priced foods which all appear to be freshly home-cooked, a bit of a rarity in these days of chain pubs. We had pie and chips ,£7.50 packed with meat and probably the best chips we've ever had for a pub meal.Excellent ,genuine service from the young staff too Definitely recommend if you're in town

Decent beer, however, ordered liver bacon and onions in which there appeared to be no bacon. When I complained to the staff I was told that the bacon was chopped into small pieces. If it was then it was both invisible and tasteless. Having recently moved to the area, I had begun to use the pub quite regularly, sadly, this will be the last time.

Cosy traditional, unpretentious pub with friendly staff serving a range of well kept Hook Norton beers and delicious freshly cooked bar meals at reasonable prices, by today's standards. Definitely worth a visit when in Evesham.

Very friendly Landlord. We called in on a Mo nday, not sure if the kitchen would be open but we were able to order food. It was home cooked with the freshest accompanying salad. So delicious . Nice garden as we had a dog and sat under cover in the garden. Very friendly. Will go again.

We visited the trumpet inn on monday 27th sept. The staff where friendly and helpful. The pub was spotless and the food was lush. I wish we could of spent longer there but erte on a coach so set for time. Highly recommed this place.
