A well run pub, fantastic beer garden that's spacious with plenty of room. The inside feels real homely with a relaxed atmosphere. Can't wait to go again.

Lovely roast beef dinner here. Had a choice of three meats and a vegan option. Sticky toffee pudding and ice cream for dessert . Highly recommend this pub for food and drinks. Lovely pub and friendly staff

Tasty handmade burgers and fresh fries. No generic ping food here - it’s fresh made on site to order and soooo well worth the short wait. Staff are friendly atmosphere is energetic and drinks are cold in clean glasses. Couldn’t ask for more.

Had a lovely night at The Cider Mill last night. There was a quiz, which we participated in and had lovely food. Friendly atmosphere and bar staff were very friendly. Highly recommend to everyone

Had a bacon cheeseburger initially thinking the price was a little expensive, when it came out I realised I hadn't paid enough... I've never had a burger that big it was almost ridiculous. Not only could you tell it was hand made. But it was cooked to perfection. Tasted amazing and came with everything I wanted also. Needed a nap after it. The new owners really have smashed the food side of things.

This place has lovely bar staff, large portions of food I had a huge burger I feel like I’m full for a week now! Massive beer garden out back and lovely local’s definitely visiting again

Just had a fantastic meal at the CIder Mill from their new menu. we had the sausage and mash with fresh veg and a bacon cheese burger. Excellent value for money and really good portions we will definitely be back for more (just not today)

@ The Cider Mill, thank you so much for ruining our Christmas! Despite putting a deposit down to have Christmas lunch for 6 back in September and having had multiple conversations with Chris leading up to the day, we arrived at the pub to be told that the pub has no health and safety certificate and can’t serve food! I’m just intrigued to know if anyone else booked Christmas Lunch at the Cider Mill or was it just that was taken for fools?

Very good night ..prices were not to bad and the staff were excellent..good parking space..so overall would recommend it

Chris is a fantastic manager. Works very hard. Food is fab. Very warm place to enjoy a bite to eat and a good pint in warm and welcoming environment. Highly recommend

We booked out thier private room for my dad's 60th birthday this past weekend. Was amazing service, gorgeous food and lots of garden space for the kids to run around. Staff were awesome. Look forward to coming back!!

We had the gluten free fish and chips. The batter was absolutely fantastic, the best I've had, it was crunchy and light and served really hot. Chips were lovely and the mushy peas with mint was fantastic. Our dog came with us so we ate in the bar area. Very nice atmosphere and couldn't be happier to have a local that we can walk to that serves such lovely food. Well done to the new owners for renovating the place so it feels refreshed and clean and for offering food as well as drinks. Definitely coming back for fish on Fridays 😃👍🏻

We visited today for carvery, we were impressed by the new owners decor and presentation. Staff all very friendly too, only downside was the plates were too small for the portion size but lovely beef and turkey. Didn't see a pudding option either which is something they may do in the future if business continues.

Secretly very excited for the future of the Cider Mill having popped in for a basket meal and a drink yesterday lunch time. Emily, Steve and the gang, the new owners, have already made it feel loved, with a lick of paint and some lovely simple upgrades. The basket meals were simple fare deliciously done and the portion sizes where enough but not intimidating. Really interesting gin selection and the pub itself has finally got a nice warm friendly feel. Can't wait to see those open fires roaring in the winter and shall be rushing back to sample the carvery once up and running. Can't wait for the Cider Mill to become the local it has always deserved to be.

Under new management which was needed. Nothing bad to say about previous tennant but it felt that they had lost interest. It's now getting a facelift, different beers and a fresh prune and tidy up to the garden. It's totally safe for little ones too. X

Decent pub, decent facilities decent people. It’s a shame the customers are being forced to leave early and not allowed to have fun due to The owner overcharging and having no people skills because of constant drinking on the job. Overall good pub.

Not good went in once waited a long time for bar staff to get back from having a smoke. Was on the way out when he actually came back and asked what we wanted. Not the best welcoming experience.

Absolutely fantastic, the landlord was increasingly friendly for our first visit after moving to the area! Will be going again soon!

Not used this pub for seven years now as it became a crèche more children and dogs running around than people drinking so sad was a fantastic pub before

Quaint pub, pool table, dart board and TVs showing live sports. Good price drinks, great place to meet up with friends and have a laugh.

Nice to visit as it is next to where my grandmother grew up

Dropped in after just visiting a house we will be purchasing soon to check the local pub and recieved a really genuine warm welcome. The atmosphere was so friendly can't wait to move into the area.
