Had a lovely experience here. ☺️ Ended up here accidentally when looking for a place to eat without any success. They weren't doing food, but the bar staff and locals were super helpful in trying to guide us to places that might be able to feed us. Nethertheless, we decided to stay here and have a drink and some crisps while playing games (frustration and pop up pirate) that were available for us. It was a very homely feeling place, and the bar man offered to share his holiday chocolate gift with my girls as we were missing our late lunch. Felt very taken care of and welcomed here. Highly recommend if you are on the outskirts of Penzance, right on the coast, and looking for a local pub. Nice beer to top it off, too. I had the potion No.9. Lovely. Thank you.

Lots of places shut still post covid so found it a bit difficult to find a pub. The Dock was recommended to us by a couple of othe pubs in Penzance and we were not disappointed. Never book a table at the only remaining restaurant with tables left. There’s a good reason for it. Seriously how hard is it to cook fish, chips and peas. It took 45 minutes to arrive. Two of the guests had this and I had the homemade lasagne. All mains were beautiful and could not fault it; I never order a lasagne as I just don't think they ever taste unxious enough but this was special and very tasty. We all had the prawn cocktail to start and you can tell that the chef cares alot about what is served as the quality was exceptional. If you are looking for a down to earth pud who serve tight quality fresh food then this is your pub. The waitress was so lovely and very helpful and polite and I thought her customer service was brilliant, I didn't take her name but nothing was to much and the food came quickly and you didn't need to add any seasoning.
