Nipped in for some brekky, plenty of staff about, but had to order at the till which seems abit odd. Food served quickly, nice enough, price was reasonable compared to most other breakfast spots in town, certainly to sit down. Menus could do with replacing as they all seemed abit tatty.

Gutted. Have heard so much about this place and the infamous KF Ceaser. To be fair. Had sausage roll also which was good. The chicken for the Ceaser was âwetâ and very soft/mushy, in texture and quite bland. The bread just didnât seem too fresh. Was just cold baguette / sub. I was looking forward so much. One bite and sadly threw away.

Fantastic dining journey , great experience with the chef preparing the food right there with locally sourced ingredients . Sublime. An experience to not miss when in Falmouth

Wow. Stayed in Hunmanby for a week and visited the pantry every day it was open (closed Sunday and Monday) - amazing cakes (egg custard, bakewells, frangipanis, tarts) delicious bread. Bought filled rolls for a picnic one day, great selection of fillings (Brie and grape, ploughmanâs) and their coffee, even though from a machine (sorry to judge), was really delicious. Also bought rolls to fill with burgers from the nearby Wells butcher, which were also wonderful.

As a truck driver, I use cafes all around the UK and beyond. I have to say that Big Daves is definitely my favourite! The first thing you notice walking in is how spotlessly clean it is. Floor, walls, counter, everything is sparkling. Dave and his wife are a lovely couple who always make you feel welcome. It's always busy with local people eating in or grabbing a takeout, which is always a sign of a good cafe. That said, you never have to wait too long for your food. There is a wider menu, but I've only ever been for the full English breakfast, which is fantastic! Really good quality food. I recommend this cafe highly.

Very friendly staff great food and always doing something to help the locals who can't always afford chippy for the family ie offers on dinnertime and tea time meals and superb offers during covid and when the kids are off school. They should be rewarded for their efforts đ

A great surprise, we had booked whilst staying locally and didnât really want to walk far for our lunch and a drink. The pub was full of ramblers when we arrived but as weâd booked we got our table and enjoyed a really lovely roast, desert and a great couple of pints of Timothy Taylor. The staff were fantastic and couldnât do enough to help us enjoy our time there. If youâre passing please pop in you wonât be disaappointed.
