Very friendly staff great food and always doing something to help the locals who can't always afford chippy for the family ie offers on dinnertime and tea time meals and superb offers during covid and when the kids are off school. They should be rewarded for their efforts 👌

A great surprise, we had booked whilst staying locally and didn’t really want to walk far for our lunch and a drink. The pub was full of ramblers when we arrived but as we’d booked we got our table and enjoyed a really lovely roast, desert and a great couple of pints of Timothy Taylor. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help us enjoy our time there. If you’re passing please pop in you won’t be disaappointed.

Fantastic bakery, cakes and bread were top quality. Good range of products that are produced in the premises . You can tell how great the cakes and breads etc are by how busy it is.

Smashing off licence/ wine bar/ wine shop in Dolgellau. Really friendly and a nice place to hang out for an hour. The owner couldn't be more welcoming, and we look forward to popping in when we are in the area. Wine's not cheap, but it's good, with plenty of rarities. Go on. Treat yourself. The Slate gin is great, and we had to come here on the way back to the Midlands since my wife had nearly chugged a bottle during our week in Aberdyfi.

Lovely cosy cafe. Friendly staff. The cakes we had were delicious. Fresh and tasty. Especially the Tipsy slice and Victoria sponge.

What a delightful change... golden cutlery, cakes to die for... beautifully kind attention... in fact a tea shop that could win the Gold Standard of Service.

Highly recommend! The occasion was a special birthday lunch for a friend. It was perfect. A lovely warm welcome from the friendly, helpful staff who took the time to explain about the hall and show us some interesting original features. The dining room is beautiful. Our food was delicious, served piping hot. I liked the soft background music which adds to the ambience. We were extremely happy with our visit.

You know when your wife takes a photograph of the room key and sends it to you with a caption "Please can I come here again" you know it's a success. Great find by my wife for out wedding anniversary and visit to Glasgow. Great location, fabulous food...

I haven’t felt so welcomed in a restaurant ever. Incredible service and food to match. Chris hosts a great atmosphere with games to play while waiting for dinner. Chris made it as easy as possible for us to eat even though we were a large group visiting the area for work. We ate large sharer plates and we even had a special main cooked up for a member of our team who had strict dietaries. If you’re ever making your way through the Cairngorms you must pay them a visit.

Great beach side coffee kiosk with plenty of picnic tables and deck chairs. Wonderful coffee and hot chocolate. A great range of milk alternatives, vegan ice cream and vegan cake available. Also plenty of umbrellas to keep the seagulls at bay. We came many times during our holiday. Also because of the concrete path accessible by wheelchair and pushchair.

Exallant hot and crispy fish and chips. Very tasty. Fantastic curry sauce. Fantastic and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit

I was not looking forward to my lockdown birthday so you can imagine how excited I was to receive an Afternoon Tea from my daughter. The platter was brought to my door by Mrs M herself. It was beautifully presented and even had a Happy Birthday sticker on it. The food was delicious, I can honestly say that every mouthful was sublime. Highly recommended! It really made me feel special.

A Well cooked meal, hot and well presented. The Ibex is situated in Chaddleworth, a pretty village in West Berkshire, about 7 miles North of Newbury. A good chef.
