17 of us came to this rustic location and the food and staff were amazing … 5 stars all round 👍👍 #ptfc (the zip wire was great fun also)

My wife and I called in yesterday for breakfast. Certainly one of the best full English around. No frills just good home cooking, we loved it! Three sizes available, we had the large which set us up for the rest of the day. The full loaded truckers breakfast must be huge? Well worth visiting.

We stopped for lunch on our way to an Illumination Carnival at North Petherton for lunch. The choice of meals on the menu was great. We both had Ham Egg Chips. The food arrived very quickly well presented and the chips were fantastic best we've had for a long time. It was well worth the short diversion from the M5 to visit Albion Cafe. We always visit when in the area as food is always well presented, great portions and piping hot when served. Hop to visit again in the spring

I guess I'm almost a regular visiting monthly for a large size full English breakfast with a cuppa. The is a good menu choice for breakfasts with their full English coming in three sizes, with the large being the middle sized. The breakfasts are all you could need from a traditional full breakfast, there are many options on the menu. Not a fancy restaurant but a good honest café, and if it something you worry the toilets are always clean and tidy.

A friend and I went there and the staff were really helpful and polite and the Sunday roast was the best it had lots of fresh vegetables proper roast potatoes you could not fault it we really enjoyed our meal we would definitely go again thankyou

Best breakfast in Somerset! We are very partial to a full English and we visited the Albion for the first time around a year ago, and have returned several times since. Food is good quality, and food value for money, perfectly cooked every time, decent tea and coffee and the staff are friendly. It’s mainly a transport cafe, but all sorts of people come in to eat. Nice atmosphere, would definitely recommend and we will be back soon!

We popped in for breakfast and what a breakfast. Great quality ingredients cooked to perfection and a very reasonable price. Lovely hosts, friendly atmosphere. We saw that they were doing Sunday lunches so we booked to go back the next day for Sunday lunch. Again, great ingredients cooked to perfection. Loved every bit of it and we will definitely return. You are doing an amazing job.

I was recommended to go here for breakfast, well I can honestly say for £8 a large breakfast, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 fried eggs, 2 hash browns, tomato, baked beans, with tea/coffee and toast, proper sausages 100%,, excellent value for the area,, too many posh places in the area,, I'd recommend the albion inn to anyone in the area...

I had lunch today at The Albion Inn and truck stop on the way back from having my classic car serviced at nearby Catcott. I had the homemade cottage pie followed by summer fruit crumble which I would recommend very strongly if its your first visit to this establishment as it was fabulous in terms of quality, quantity, taste and value. A must stop too for me when I'm heading towards the M5 on business. My compliments to all the staff who are very friendly and welcoming too :-)

Fresh hot breakfast served on a cold plate that quickly sucked all the heat from the food and made it sub standard

Stopped in at around 14:30 and my taste buds was solely for a breakfast. Staff so pleasant and the breakfast was truly top notch. The food cooked and prepared so very well. There is no other café or pub anywhere near The Albion that serves food anywhere as good as this place. The team here are fantastic. Thank you yet again.

What can you say. The food here is amazing and the welcome from the staff is always first class. They have a wide range and very varied menu. Food always brought to your table piping hot. Excellent Omelette and Chips and a great cup of coffee. Wish them all the best.

Found this place on way back home from weymouth fantastic little place. Wrapped it to take away very clean food was delicious and presented beautifully. Hope to someday go again. Ps have a great time in yorkshire

On a long walk On a lovely day needed to stop for a but to eat and knew the one place to head to. Very resanbelly priced good old fashioned pub grub cooked to perfection. Warm friendly welcome place like the albion are a dieing breed in this part off the word. But for a daytime meal breakfast or lunch I am never dispointed

Popped in to the Albion fir breakfast first time in a while due to lock down same warm first name welcome very tasty sausage and bacon bap despite not haven a large gardan they had set up a covered area and made the area inviting .they ovbuisely care about their customers and it was almost business as ussell.unfortely I was in the area on a very windey day or I would have stayed a bit longer. Prices are so resanbell and it rare to find somewhere open for breakfast at 8 will definitely come again

I came as a truck driver to spend the weekend here. The best choice I could ever make. The place is run by a lovely family. They are super friendly, helpful, welcoming people. Making this place possibly the best truck stop in the Uk. I can highly recommend a visit for anyone here. If you need to stop around the area, choose Albion Inn. Food is excellent and freshly made. All the facilities like toilets and shower are fine. Perfect place. Thanks

Regular pop in for breakfast real value for money dont think you would get a cheaper breakfast lovely.food is excellent the place warm and welcoming with an oldie wordy feal staff very friendly and efficient covid secure if I'm around at breakfast time my only port off call

Stopped at this truck stop for breakfast on our way to Burnham, the external might put some people off, don't let it, the food is good plentiful & suits the pocket. The staff were brilliant, service was good, toilets spotless. We enjoyed the meal so much that when we were having trouble finding somewhere to have an evening meal due to the latest Covid restrictions etc, we decided to return, again good service & plenty on the plate, good home menu & cooking, plus they were part of the 1/2 price scheme, which was a bonus. Called in again on our homeward journey for breakfast.

Popped in for breakfast and couldn't have felt safer! 2 metre distancing on your way in, wait to be seated and access to hand sanitiser. All the tables and chairs are cleaned between customers, staff are clearly washing their hands regularly and the toilets are thoroughly cleaned too. I noticed since the last time I visited there are tables outside with polythene on so they are easily wipe-able.An absolutely delicious breakfast, whilst feeling I was in safe hands!

The Albion inn !! What a great place, myself and the missus rock on up at 5pm and the host charged £5 to stop overnight, the food is exceptional, it’s proper home cooked food . We had the faggots, mash n 2 veg with gravy it was delicious, also the missus had spotted dick n custard under £20 . I will definitely be stopping here again . Cheers , Glyn and Kerrie

As cafes close across the country I found this one offering a takeaway service. Everything on the menu was available so I opted for an all day breakfast which was well-cooked, came with fresh tomatoes and covered the plate. The accompanying coffee was also pleasant. Well done.

Totally great experience. Friendly host, massive choice, enormous breakfast portions and not even close to expensive. Don’t think it’s just a trucker- only venue. It welcomes all diners and I’m guessing none leave unsatisfied!

After years of passing by, I found an opportunity this month for an overnight stay.

Myself and a group of friends who have a day out now and again stumbled on this Transport Cafe at the rear of the pub with a large car park on the A39 Bridgewater to Street road. Great tasting and value for money meal and super tea, that is not going to break your wallet, if ever we are anywhere near we use this cafe, as we know we will not be disapointed

One my way home from an enjoyable weekend break and we found this little gem. The Full English we ordered 2as just what was needed. A true cafe with added touches. The service was exceptional. The owners were friendly and when customers they knew came into the cafe they took the time to talk to them while still making sure other customers were fine.

Called in for a brunch on Tuesday 19th March 2019. Selected the mega breakfast and was amazed at both the quantity and the quality. The price of £9 also included a mug of tea. This is the best full English I have had in a long while.

Great atmosphere very clean toilets open 24hrs. here great specials board for food plus a wide selection on the menu. Very good shower great price

I've been stopping at the Albion in my Lorry for the past 8year's. Ang, John (the boss and the bosses husband) and all the staff always make everyone welcome. The food is cooked fresh and always plentiful and there's normally a special meal.

I've only ever eaten breakfast at the Albion Inn. They offer a wide choice of "fry-ups" and more healthy options and I have never been disappointed. One of their breakfasts will keep you going for the rest of the day. Always a friendly smile from the staff and you never have to wait long for the food to arrive.

I have stayed in the carpark quite a few times in my motorhome.I always try to give them notice if I am going to turn up.Always get a very warm welcome usually in the morning when I go in for a breakfast to die for,proper truckers fried breakfast with a mug of coffee or tea.They do other breakfasts but I haven't tried anything else also do lunches and cooked evening meals but I haven't been fortunate enough to get there in time!!!The toilets are spotlessly clean and carpark is hard and fairly level.My advice would be to go here and get a crazy gang welcome!!!

We called into the truck stop cafe here on saturday morning after the establishment we were staying at nearby failed to open for breakfast.

I had a car crash unfortunately not far from this pub and seriously these people were saints they came over to help when everything was going on then took me in making sugary cups of tea to calm my nerves. They brought back my faith in humanity that there are still lovely people out there. They were so friendly and even gave me a lift to a train station and allowed my car to stay in the car park for the insurance to pick the car up. I literally cannot thank these people enough for their kindness they made a shocked and panicked woman feel a little more at ease and for that, this shows what a great place it is to come people that will go above and beyond :-) thank you again guys you made a horrible day more bare able xxx

Called on our way to Street at lunch time. Staff gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel at home. Took our order and the food arrived very quickly and piping hot. Good size portions. The meal was excellent and we will call again when going to Street.

He visitado el Albion Hotel unas cuantas veces desde volver a Somerset, para vivir. Como un vegetariano que fue muy acogedor y el desayuno era delicioso. Fui con un amigo de nuevo hoy y que, una vez más, tuvimos un desayuno fabuloso. Como estábamos en auto, la señora nos atrape en el aparcamiento y nos informó de una grave atasco en la carretera porque estábamos a punto de ir. Ella nos dijo una ruta alternativa e incluso paraba el tráfico para permitir en el carril lateral. Aparentemente esto nos ahorró horas de nuestro viaje. Lo llamaría y más allá. No puedo recomendar este lugar, la comida, el servicio y la amabilidad.

Personal muy agradable y servicial. Buen servicio y buena comida honesta. Hará un punto de visita la próxima voy a los niveles

I visit the Albion on my way home from Weymouth to Shropshire about every three weeks. Usually I have a breakfast, today being the same. Never have I had anything other than great food and service. There is a good menu range and all reasonably priced.Great facilities and very clean. Also a 5* food hygiene rating.Great value. Thanks

This pub opened super early to help with a bike ride- considering the time, the staff were friendly and well organised. Thanks for the lovely coffee and breakfast. I'd love to visit again at a reasonable time

My family and I totally enjoyed the evening. We hired out the whole cafe for my aunties 80th birthday party. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and they all couldn't do enough for us. Such a lovely place for a party.

Called in on our way to Clarks Village....we were made very welcome by the staff...ordered cooked breakfast...which was served promptly...which was delicious...my other half had a large breakfast...including black pudding.....If your looking for some where to stop for something to eat....this is the place to be...Clean...good food...friendly staff...what more could you want....Plenty of space to park....

Arrived here after a nightmare in Glastonbury having campsites turn us away because our camper wasn't a pristine motor home.We were promptly greeted after hours and offered food and drink even though they had closed already, the wonderful lady opened up the toilets for the night and generally made sure we were all sorted.In the morning she cooked us up a great breakfast and allowed us to use a plug socket for our van whilst we made some repairs.I have never experience such welcoming hospitality and am so grateful for everything she did for us.Thanks for a great stay, will be recommending this place.

Steaming hot mugs of tea and good food locally sourced at reasonable prices. The cafe smells of cooked chips and wouldn't win awards for decor but the food is great and the service second to none. WE called in today and after eating wre discussing our trip home, the owner? overheard and immediately checked the traffic situation for us on the computer. She responded quickly to all our requests (extra gravy, doggy bag) nothing was too much trouble. Didn't go in the pub but would stop at the cafe again to eat.

In Glastonbury on festival week. Found this gem . Truck stop with a difference. Had homemade cottage pie with veg & huge portion of chips . Delicious . Had choc sponge & custard yummy , cheap prices . Definitely visit again SOON.

I've been staying with Jon and Angie for a couple of years now. There is always a warm welcome, good food and usually a guest ale on in the bar. The Albion has a family room for overnight or long stays.It's mostly used as a Truckstop during the evening.The cafe is very popular during the day and they often advertise specials on social media.Many of the drivers including myself are regulars. And go out of our way to call in. It's well worth the effort to drop in for a bite.

This happens to be very close to where we live but is on the main A39 Bridgwater to Glastonbury Road and is known as a truck stop. Don't be deceived, it is a super place to stop off for very good home cooked food and friendly service. (We wanted to watch a football match and they happen to have a 3D TV). We had the all day breakfast £4 including tea and toast. Really tasty bacon which is sourced locally we were told. Brilliant value. The ladies loo was spotlessly clean. What is more they have a small function room upstairs which they use for parties, meetings etc for no charge.

Stopped here for breakfast. Was excellent as usual. Great food.warm welcome and very reasonable prices. Will be back.

We were out walking and badly needed refreshment. We were directed to the Albion where we found friendly staff and a great bacon sandwich! Great value with an all day breakfast menu as well as main meals and desserts. And walkers are made to feel just as welcome as truckers

We found this place by accident after taking a wrong turn and decided to stop for a bite to eat.The food we ordered was home cooked and lovely. The cheesecake was the best I have ever eaten. We were recently in the area and stopped there again for lunch. Once again the food was lovely. My only complaint was they had no cheesecake :( but this was made up for by one of their other delightful home made puds!! Ultimately this is a down to earth no frills establishment that serves great home cooked food at a reasonable price.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to our caravan at Doniford Bay near Minehead. We had been here before when the present owners had just taken over. The food was excellent, piping hot and very reasonably priced. The owner is very friendly, and the café has a nice atmosphere and is nice and clean. Highly recommended.

I go out of my way to get here and park up for the night. If parking over night in your truck it's always peacefull. The food is great with plenty of choice. You will get a warm friendly welcome from Jon and Angie and a good old chit chat in the bar. Now if all TruckStops were like this it would make truckers nights away a lot better.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way through to NW Devon. The portions were large, the quality excellent and the price low. The food was all grilled and sourced locally so the quality was excellent. The owner was lovely, friendly and very welcoming. I highly recommend a stop here for your grub.

We have come to Somerset to visit family and popped in today for a spot of breakfast, and I can honestly say it was one of the best fried breakfast I have had EVER :-) great service and great value! Xx

We stopped at The Albion on our way to Minehead with the Kids in half term. Great little cafe, lovely breakfast, made to feel very welcome. Good Value and very clean with loads of parking. Food was quick and nicely cooked plenty of choice.
