Great place to eat and drink. Saturday Steak night was awesome, two steaks and half carafe of wine for less than 40 quid. Beautifully cooked.

First time visiting, really friendly helpful staff who went out of their way to provide us with good service. The food was delicious and the portions are absolutely huge! I had the pie of the day and it came with plenty of veg which was great. Excellent value for money, we will definitely be back.

Needed a lunch stop on a long journey; so chuffed we found this little place. So trendy, lovely ambience even though it was a quiet Tuesday lunchtime. Great staff, great menu although limited to pizza; pizza and Parmesan Truffle fries were both amazing!! Well worth the five minute detour off the A1

A busy Bank Holiday Monday late afternoon and the Brews was abuzz with regulars enjoying the sunshine outside. The two pizzas for £20 is a great offer and our pizzas were delicious. Great service with a smile. We'll undoubtedly be back

Absolute appalling service on their justeat service, two weeks in a row place an order and twice get refunded and they go offline, why bother having the just eat service if you don’t accept any orders, shocking service with no apology.

Came and reserved a table for a spot of lunch after sightseeing at the nearby National Trust Workhouse. Really good menu choice and the vibes are great - absolutely loved the music! Cheesecakes are very impressive with a very decent serving. My friends loved playing chess with the board games on offer whilst waiting for their food.

Been to Brews Brothers a few times for lunch, dinner and coffee. The food has always been great and service and staff have been excellent

It was one of those days when nothing would do food wise, so a couple of glasses of something cold at Brews then home to toast! We forget it was specials night. Best one yet, just had Bao buns and wings but it hit the spot and definitely thumbs up!

Brews is always the place to come and never disappoints. The food: We ate from the "lite bites" menu, which is currently 2 for £15. I had a rump steak which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The fish my stepson had was gourmet and the portion sizes are perfect. Presentation is wonderful, the taste is better. The staff: welcoming as ever. You can't help but feel at home. They cannot do enough for you. The atmosphere: comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable.

Ordered the rump steak (medium) it was served practically raw, sent it back, I have no idea what they did, but it was still the same when it was returned, with blood still in the plate, so not overly impressed. You’d have thought they wouldn’t charge for it, or offer an alternative for a future night, but no. Safe to say I’ll avoid eating here. It’s a nice place for coffee, but they really need to focus on making sure the customers are satisfied with the food they provide and not to overcharge for steak and frozen chips, which you could get at any supermarket for a fraction of the price. They don’t really have any competition in Fernwood, so at the moment they have the monopoly and therefore can exploit their position.

Great food and Service, the quality of food is outstanding and compare to what is available locally better value too. Will be back

New to area and checked out our new local pub, The Brews Brothers, and boy did it deliver on “first impressions”! The Sunday Roast dinners were packed-full with mouth watering decadence, the vibe of the pub was inviting and relaxed, and the staff were exceptional in providing outstanding service. Our 4 YO son devoured his roast dinner; that speaks volumes to a parent if your kid eats more than the potatoes! Highly recommend to anyone and Brews Brothers have gained new customers! We’ll certainly be back!

Great service, friendly staff. A good food menu with plenty of choice, perfect for if you have little ones dining with you. Cosy atmosphere with lovely decor. Make sure to try the warm pork crackling, I’d also recommend the pizzas! They are also dog friendly and have a dog menu!

All for of us had the fish and chips absolutely delicious, crispy batter, white fresh fish with chunky chips , minted mushy peas and tartare sauce. Give it at try you won't be disappointed, we will be visiting again very soon .

We enjoyed a fabulous meal this evening at the Brews - my lamb dish was just sensational: Braised lamb, potato dauphinoise, torched asparagus, carrot puree, white bean puree and mint jus. It really was a 'fine dining' experience. So tasty! My husband (as ever!) chose the pie which he enjoyed just as much. We shared (80:20) a dessert - lemon & biscoff cheesecake - just delicious 😋 A really lovely menu with plenty of choice. Great service and atmosphere in this lovely eatery. Compliments to the chef and staff 👏👏

We shared the platter and it was delicious. The staff were very attentive and friendly especially Abi. We will return and maybe try the roast that was recommended to us.

Came in yesterday for some food and drinks with friends, great atmosphere, beer selection about 4 interesting draughts, and a good selection of craft ciders and real ales. We had the lamb sausages with a lovely buttery mash, nice to see local produce of the menus, and the most incredible fish and chips, batter bits included!!! Oh and minted peas!!!! Had a cookie cup, very rich and indulgent and very reasonably priced for the quality of food!! Will def be returning to enjoy that beer garden, surrounded by big range of friendly people, my new favourite place in Newark!!

Lovely spot for some amazing food! The coffee is great and the portion sizes are perfect! My grandparents and I were very well looked after by Abbie, who was friendly, attentive and fun.

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch of lamb with all of trimmings. Great food, well kept beer as well as great ciders, and a good range of wines. Very friendly welcome and we really enjoy coming here. Definitely be back!
