Chose this place as they do Gluten free. Best Gluten free bread I have ever had out. The service was brilliant, with a teapot, tea cups and sauces and tea plates and the shop is a real delight, with some many lovely things to look at. I will defenately go there again if I am over that way. Higly recommend this place.

Old worldly coffee shop with nice, friendly oddball characters with quirky chitchat, an experience never to forget. Great homemade cakes and a selection of treats. Recommended for something different from the norm. Very reasonable prices.

Our elderly neighbours have been poorly and we thought this would be a nice treat for them. We were not disappointed, tea and coffee flowing, great service and the most delicious sandwiches, scones and cake. We had a varied choice of 6 different fillings for the sandwiches on brown or white bread and really could not eat it all it was so filling. Thank you Stephen and team for a great visit, our neighbours loved it and so did we. Highly recommended.

We was so disappointed the first time trying this tea room. The owner Stephen had a massive row with his girlfriend and though her off of the premises in front of a shop full of customers. He was Swearing in front of the children too and shoving her out, it was disgusting. And to top it off I had a long black hair running right through the middle of my Victoria sponge. I will not be returning here, no thank you !

What a find! This is a little oasis on a high street suffering like all others these days. Great quirky decor with classic crooner tunes playing quietly, efficient service, warm organic sultana scones (with a very decent serving of clotted cream) that tasted divine and washed down with a very good Earl Grey. Thank you for making my first trip to the Kentish Isle such a memorable one!

This place has a great atmosphere. It is small and cosy. There are lots of antique pictures on the wall to grab your attention and there are old magazines and newspapers to read. We had tea and cream scones. They were fresh scones, you could tell and really lovely. There were lots of choices of tea and we got a big pot that we couldnt finish. Really excellent value and highly recommended.

I only marked this place as average as it is more a tea room than a cafe. Very limited lunches. Some tables are very restricted for space where both seats are facing the wall on a half oval table. To use the loo you have to go through the kitchen and the loo door opens straight into the kitchen as the other dividing door is propped open by bulky things which I'm sure shouldn't be allowed., for health and hygiene's sake. The atmosphere is ye old style with lovely background music of the era. but unfortunately I prefer a hot lunch if I'm out.

The menu is sufficient to tempt the most fussy of taste buds , all served on beautiful China in an amusing nostalgic trip down memory lane . 4 of us came here for our friends birthday, I have to say this gem of a place is wonderful. Steve the owner, was rushed off his feet as all tables were occupied, and he didn’t miss a thing. We had the afternoon tea, which was delicious, and really filling, the sandwiches were full with our choice of fillings, the homemade scones, Jam & cream were the best I’ve had anywhere, and the cakes just delicious. The use of fine china cups and saucers, proper teapots, sugar bowls, spoons etc really set it off, the choice of teas, drinks etc was huge, and refilled several times, and the old curiosities dotted all around was a lovely finishing touch. I will be back to sample more of the menu very soon.

Brilliant variety of teas. Lovely freshly baked cakes, especially brilliant scones. Seriously, I thought I'd tried the best but these were just amazing! Wonderful attentive service. We ordered a pot of tea for 2. Served in a beautiful China pot with lovely China tea cups. Extra hot water was added to the pot at no extra charge. We sat very happily having cake and loads of tea for over 1 hour, enjoying the 1950s music and relaxed atmosphere. Was a real treat and lovely way to spend a rainy afternoon. All brilliant! Highly recommended. Thank you. X

This tea room is a wonderful place to spend time, not only because the food is prepared and baked with care, but because it's served up the way food used to be served: with actual care. Never mind the quirky china teacups and antiquities lovingly held onto for generations that decorate the space, it's worth this trip back in time just to recall how it felt to be greeted with a smile, treated like a valued customer, encouraged to stay and urged to return. What a treat! My friend and I met here for a sandwich and a pot of tea, and while it was all lovely, I'm almost anxious for the day it's chucking it down so I can come in with a book and have a cuppa in a place where it's so inviting and cozy. We could use more proprietors like this one in Sheerness.

What a fantastic visit! It was literally like revisiting my childhood. From the moment I saw the old imperial typewriter it was “ I learned to type on a typewriter like that” I adored the fine China coffee mug that my drink came in. Soya milk at no extra charge and gluten and vegans catered for! I totally recommend this place.

I really like this tea shop. Been twice now and had great experiences both times. My favourite so far is the biscoff cheesecake but the scones are wonderful also. Hidden little gem. Walk through the antique shop to a bright small but beautiful tea room. Staff were incredibly friendly.
