EXECELLENT! Me and my family came in and got advice to tried chicken and pork kabeb Greek style and chips which was wonderful with pint of cider and apple soda. The island fish bar is place to tried. The food are hot and the staff member are very welcoming. Every time we come, get a well welcoming. The Kabeb was hot and very yummy. Please try and support the island fishbar. Why go kebab shop when in fish bar you can sit in and eat your food nice and hot!!!! Lovely staffs and owner.

Wow! WOW! First.time I've ever tried pork and chicken gyros mix Doner together. I must say it definitely beat the the kebab shops food 100% I'll recommend 👌 please please try it definitely worth it. if staff recommend it to you go for it they know what they are talking about. And also I did my research they are right about being the only people in sheerness kent with pork doner gyros .

Visited today with autistic son. My son had meltdown due to being distressed from haircut. These lovely staff not only brought out sensory toy for him, they offered free chips and they allowed him to eat his wrap in seating area as he was distressed and and was patient and understanding with us. Thankyou for not being judgemental and making us feel welcome 😁

This fish bar is an absolute gem. The food is always cooked to perfection, their traditional omelettes are to die for as are their kebabs and fish and chips. The salad is always freshly chopped and tastes wonderful. The owners and staff could not be friendlier and they go over and above to make sure all is OK and even the chef came out to ask if the food was OK. They are super efficient and they cook your order fresh. I don't know the names of the other staff but Helen is super friendly and we are always greeted by the family. A lovely place all round and one I would recommend to everybody ... the 60s music is always good too 😊 Thank you Island Fish Bar ... I will continue to visit every time I'm in the area 😊

We have enjoyed many fish and chips super as take away customers at the Island Fish bar. However, tonight we decided to eat our fish super in the restaurant.. I enjoyed a lovely cooked Rock and Chips,the first time in many years usually stick to cod. The food was served hot ,the staff were helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble. We shall be returning soon I'm sure.

I recently visited the Island Fish Bar in Sheerness-on-Sea and had a fantastic experience. The service was exceptional; the staff were incredibly friendly and courteous. The food was delicious, especially the chips, which were cooked in clean oil and had a perfect crunch. I highly recommend this restaurant if you ever find yourself in Sheerness. I'll definitely be going back!

Came to Sheerness for a few hours, was looking for fresh local fish, found this place. Such wonderful fresh fish and chips. The local Rock fish is an absolute must. Big love to Murdo, great guy- wonderful service. Contemplating coming back to Sheerness just for this place.

We enjoyed our visit here, friendly people and a nice feel to the place, especially compared to other similar cafes. All was very clean and tidy. We’re quite fussy about our cod & chips and were very pleased with them here, and unless you’re very hungry even the small cod would be ample…flaky white and had a good crunchy batter, and proper chips - the other half liked the curry sauce. Also a good mug of tea and coffee. Looking forward to another visit and maybe the sunday roast next time 😊

We went as a family of 5 and my daughter doesn’t eat meat so she ordered a vegetarian meal, when she took a bite she realised it was actually chicken. When we complained no one seemed bothered and didn’t offer to remake the food. Appalling service

We didn't think places like this existed anymore. Proper old school fish and chips, milkshakes and service. Decent sized portions that are well cooked all in a friendly atmosphere. The staff even went so far as to find a special bottle of fizzy orange for my grandson . Thoughrly recommended we will certainly visit when we are on Sheppey again.

Food was OK, I had roast beef takeaway which is unusual for a fish bar but as it was a Sunday I thought I'd try it. Meat was OK but big chewy and i only got 3 potatoes despite asking for no veg and to substitute potatoes for this. Fish and chips which others had was good so I think they should stick to what they know best

At the beginning friendly and helpful staff. Food was ok. I haven't noticed any information that pays cash only. When I wanted to pay with the card they told me cash only. I had to call my husband to bring the cash and almost all the staff were nearby to watch if I wanted to run away without paying.

Family visit with 3 generations - youngest 18 months most senior, 87! This restaurant has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The Staff were very accommodating to both prams and mobility scooters. Food was excellent quality, fresh, hot and very good value for money. I would certainly recommend and also visit again.

Easily the most welcoming, tastiest and friendliest option for fish and chips here on the island. I’ve been eating here for almost 4 years and have never once had an issue with food or service. I will not go elsewhere for fish and chips, dine in or take out. A fantastic meal and a great find, we came across this amazing place by accident and are so happy we found it, I had a pensioner fish and chips which was a huge portion much more than I expected and the boss had liver and bacon with the trimmings, both of the meals were delicious and the large glass of wine was nearly filled to the brim, once again great food and fantastic service, would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good, delicious meal with fantastic service, thanks
