We went here because of the splendid reviews and admit the reviews were right. We got two boxes for us two adults and two kids. It had a nice sandwich, scones and treats and they were fresh made and delicious. The owner kindly pointed out a pretty hidden park for the children to enjoy and also suggestions for where to enjoy our picnic.

Had a great picnic. Food was really good and Anna was nice enough to lend us a rug to sit on. Def recommend to anyone nearby. A lot of food for the price.

Delicious box of so many varieties of foods. Loved everything, especially the baked goods. Very easy to order and pay. Would definitely order from again!

Anna is so helpful and lovely to speak to. As first timers in the area, she was able to advise on how best to plan our day, when it is busiest, and where the best places would be for a quiet escape to eat our lunch. The lunch was absolutely delicious - we chose the veggie option and were delighted with the quality of the food. Excellent and kind service, really yummy food, and really helpful recommends - made our day at Castle Combe just perfect 💖 highly recommend!

A must-do if you're visiting Castle Combe! We emailed several weeks ahead of time to place our order after looking at the menus on Facebook. The food and drinks were so delicious - we loved everything. We also got the hamper with a blanket and games and Anna pointed us to the perfect nearby spot for it. This place really is a gem!

My fiancé had arranged a trip to Castle Combe to celebrate our engagement and planned a picnic hamper for our first afternoon. It was quite honestly one of the best picnics/afternoon teas I have ever had. The chicken and cranberry salad sandwich was the highlight! Anna also recommended a great walk through the nearby forest and streams, which was great even in the drizzly conditions. A very memorable day for us and I will be recommending the little picnic shop to friends and family!

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely picnic to go. Having food allergies, eating away from home can prove quite difficult at times. It was so nice to have a large array of delicious, gluten free items. My hubby had the “regular” version and was equally as pleased. There was so much food, that we likely could have split one between the two of us, but we were able to save some of our treats to enjoy later on in our journey. Wonderful service, lovely food—would highly recommend to anyone coming through Castle Combe to help make their visit extra special!

Absolutely first class picnic/afternoon tea. Scones with jam and cream, lemon cake, brownie, delightful sandwiches, pork pie, Spanish tortilla, shortbread and a drink. All fresh and delicious. This would rival tea at lucknam park hotel. As we’re local, we’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you so much.

We chose to order a picnic through the little picnic shop for our day visit to Castle Combe. Spoke to Anna was super helpful in recommending routes and a plan to accommodate our 3 small children, and helped us to find the fairy door which was a huge hit with the kids. We ordered the vegan and standard picnic boxes, which were delicious! The best vegan apple pie I’ve had!

Lovely picnic hamper with scrummy sandwiches, cakes , scones and coffee. Picnic blankets , cutlery and china plates also provided. A great way to spend a tranquil afternoon in the quaint village of castle Coombe . Would highly recommend .

I found this gem of a place on-line before visiting Castle Combe and I’m so glad I did. The food was amazing! Anna was super friendly with suggestions about where to picnic and told us about some local walks we could do. Our family is made up of meat eaters and vegans and we were all very pleased with the offerings. There was so much of it and it was all delicious. We had a picnic in a park nearby and played card games and read the books that were included. A lovely way to relax and enjoy the afternoon. A must do when in Castle Combe!

We discovered this place on the Internet the day before our visit to Castle Combe. A wonderful find! A huge picnic box with tasty items for our picnic which we pre-ordered for collection. Especially appreciated as the lovely owner provided a picnic suitable for a dairy allergy. Thank you!

We booked picnic hampers from the Little Picnic Shop for our trip to Castle Combe and had a great experience! The food was lovely, and there was plenty of it- it lasted us through both lunch and dinner. The picnic hamper came full of goodies perfect for a laidback afternoon by the river: dominos, playing cards, and a lighthearted book to read. Anna was amazing, she directed us to a nice little spot for our picnic and even lent us her set of playing cards after we returned our hamper so we could keep playing. Overall, really enjoyed it, and we'll definitely be back next time we're through. If you're coming through Castle Combe, I'd highly recommend having a picnic by the river with a hamper from The Little Picnic shop!

We love this! I booked just the night before. Booking is really easy, took 5 minutes and all organised in a couple of messages. You can also book on the day. Food and service was amazing! The boxes are beautifully presented and everything was so tasty. Excellent portions and we had a few cakes left over for pudding later. Yum! Anna is lovely and also suggested a perfect spot to sit and enjoy our picnic. Was a highlight of our visit. We highly recommend, give these boxes and try and you won’t be disappointed!

I have been several times in Castle Combe but only found the Little Picnic Shop before the last one. We went for a set for three and were surprised by the rain on the day. Anna was tireless in suggesting places we could go for more picnic areas. Lacock Abbey and the surrounding area were just amazing. Thank you Anna. The diversity, quantity and quality of the food were really good and the hamper option gives a "glamping" alike experience. Drinking tea in fine china on a picnic? Beautifull, I will return for sure

We cannot recommend The Little Picnic Shop any more! We ordered last minute and Anna was very accommodating. We ordered two picnic boxes for 2 people and the serving size was so generous. All of the food was really fresh and clearly homemade - when we picked up our boxes, the scones were still warm from the oven! Anna loaned us a lovely picnic blanket and gave us recommendations for a lovely woodland area for our picnic. This is a must do in Castle Combe!

We ordered the hamper for 2 to share between the 4 friends. Anna was really fast in responding to our emails and was very helpful. She gave us a printed copy of a trail to explore around Castle Combe, as well as location options to settle down for a picnic. We were pleasantly surprised with the content of the hamper, which contains cute china, a picnic mat, little games, books etc... all great ingredients for a very memorable afternoon. :)

We ordered 1 afternoon tea to share between 2 of us as we thought the concept was excellent and the reviews were good. However, the ciabatta bread was not fresh and neither was the victoria sponge which was rather disappointing though everything else was super.
