I visit this café almost every week, and it never disappoints! The service is always excellent, and the quality is outstanding, all at a very reasonable price. The food is absolutely delicious, and their scones are simply unforgettable – the best you’ll ever try. I highly recommend stopping by this wonderful café; you won’t regret it!

Enjoyed some tasty food from here. Customised to tastes. Lots of options made fresh. Recommend the samosas. Sometimes busy, but worth the wait.

All orders freshly made, so no soggy batter to worry about. Also, it was a nice evening, so no problem waiting in the queue, exposed to the weather. However, slightly funny, chemical smell from the fish and chips and a slightly strange taste.

Excellent Sunday lunch, beautiful area, great service, truly fantastic food. After just one mouthful I suggested we may have to return, every Sunday in my dreams. I greedily had the roast beef and pork combo, my partner the vegetarian main, both very good indeed and definitely not portions to leave you hungry. Desserts looked so good we could not resist, and they did not disappoint. One of the very best Sunday lunches, we will definitely be back. Be sure to book in advance.

We had one of our best meals of the trip at Sandemans. All of the dishes were delicious, but the whole experience was even better because the sommelier was so knowledgable and took our meal to a whole other level.

5 stars is not enough. I love Polish food, and this place makes very good Polish food. Lovingly home made and plentiful portions. Staff are really helpful, even though the menu is in Polish, they're very happy to translate.

My wife and I regularly visut the Lade and have happily done so for over 20 years, travelling 40 miles to Kilmahog, while spending the remainder of our day in Callander. I am afraid the Lade has let their menu 'go to pot', pardon the pun. Before the fare was excellent, with trout and steamed vegetables always superb, home made steak pie with potatoes and vegetables, now it is pie and beans. Sorry folks not coming back.

Come here for breakfast and they were so welcoming. The food was out of this world. They realised it was a celebration and joined in with us. We will definitely be coming back when next in the area. Thank you for a lovely morning!

Usually a fantastic chippy but half if the chips were overdone and other half soggy and really greasy and meat was cold and soggy really disappointing for usually such a good chippy

Phenomenal from start to finish, and oh my the finish—the tiramisu was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Just the right amount of food and perfectly paced. Great vibe, not stuffy at all, with staff so attentive that they observed I wasn’t drinking a cocktail and correctly guessed that I didn’t like it; they swapped it for something else. We booked the one chef’s table that’s nestled in a corner of the open kitchen and allows for a more immersive dining experience, which I’d definitely recommend.
