The hospality was first class, we were the only people having dinner but don’t let this put you off. Very quirky place but that is the beauty of the place. Good size portions the ravioli was tasty but pasta too thick making it tough the broth with it was very tasty but the addition of finely diced vegetables would be great. Smoked salmon roll first class. We had a chicken and a chuck steak I like my steak medium rare just as well as they don’t ask you. Sticky toffee pudding first rate as is the ice cream. Good coffee and wines.

Heard on fb that they had started doing breakfast from 9.30 till 11.30 so thought we would give it a go as previously we've always enjoyed the lunch menu. Wow the food was cooked properly and to perfection. Dippy eggs!!!! Nice service too and a good relaxed atmosphere. Didn't feel rushed. Food wasn't greasy either and tasted delicious. Great variation of items. Worth the extra you'd pay over a greasy spoon equivalent.

Definitivamente volveremos.

Beautiful food, brilliant ethos and friendly team! We visited with our two children who loved their snack boxes (we opted for the slightly larger lunch boxes) which were crammed with flavoursome veg. The hot chocolates were divine and my husband was thrilled with his coffee. Definitely make time to visit if you can. You’re in for a real treat!

Every time I come into this cafe the price for the same order is always different. The women who runs it seems to just charge you what she decides on the day. It’s overpriced and the food isn’t all that. On one occasion there was actually a hair in my tuna sandwich which she tried to justify saying it was a fluff fibre?? When I insisted it was a hair (because it was) the women then turned rude towards me. I didn’t have time to wait for another sandwich and requested my money back to which she threw it on the counter and sighed at me!! :/ nothing like good customer service Ay.. all in all I no longer work in the area and thankfully i will not be visiting here again :)

Now located in the beautiful old vicarage with high ceilings in Church Plain. Superb lunch, tasty drinks, gluten free catered for, dog friendly too in one of the main rooms. Chatty and helpful staff. Thoroughly recommend; can’t wait to go back for the lovely looking cakes (that we didn’t have room for!)
