“Persian? That sounds a bit different. Let’s try it”. And that’s how we sampled Bijans. We didnt bother with the menu but just looked at the meze two ladies at the next table were eating and ordered that. We had calamari, hummus, garlic mushrooms, and gorgeous, paper thin naan. All delicious at a very reasonable price. Charming server. We will return.

Most excellent venue. Sam and Rich and their Team have done a great job since they took over this pub. I've tried Friday night solo, Tuesday in party of 3 plus Friday lunchtime solo. Excellent food, good service and an easy relaxed atmosphere. Cannot fault anything. I hope you try it and are as happy as I am.

The best eggs Benedict I can remember having for a very long time. Plus delicious flat white coffee. This is my local cafe and I’ve been supporting it since it was also the deli (now next door and still the most fantastic deli). So I am a fan and yet, yesterday’s eggs Benedict were ‘on another level’ and moved me to write this. Better than any I’ve had in fancy hotels or London bistros. PS there were two of them… I scoffed one before thinking to take a photo!
