Sals' Snack Bar in South Oxfordshire

*avoid* fake reviews!!! Absolutely disgusting, the worse place I've eaten hands down. If I could swear on here I would! £12.30 for burger and chips and breakfast stick, burger was re heated,cheapest meat going, no butter in roll, ketchup Is slop, sausage was deep fried and not sure even meat.. I honestly had to throw it and go somewhere else.. disgusting!

Sals snack bar is the best place to get any breakfast related food (served all day) The lady's that work in there are lovely and welcoming easy to have a laugh with. My family and I love sals weather it be going to the shop or ordering it not matter how it comes, you know the girls have worked hard on it.

Been going here since I was a child, it used to be called keskins bit blue sal's snack bar boy still same quality of food. Always hot and fresh, burgers, chicken nuggets, chips and milkshakes are better than McDonald's! Not really wheelchair accessible but I'm sure they will make accomodations for ordering at the door at they are very friendly and helpful. A couple of chairs outside if you want to eat straight away.

Fantastic burgers and chips everything is cooked fresh to order. Chips are double cooked I think and lovely for it. Friendly service and now offers delivery too.

By far the best place in town for breakfast! The breakfast baguette is honestly amazing!! The staff are so lovely and welcoming and it has a great atmosphere in there! I’d 100% recommend Sal’s to anyone! 10/10 from me.

Perfect breakfast for me, just egg and bacon, some beans and a sausage. Paid extra for an extra egg and a slice of bacon. Everything was fresh, in fact the bread that was toasted was amazingly fresh tasting.

Also come here in my lunch breaks or when I’m passing through, grab a quick sandwich or baguette. Very affordable and all ingredients are fresh and made in front of you.

Myself and my partner had a breakfast which was really nice fresh and thick bacon and lovely soft bread and freshly cooked, Staff are very friendly and the owner sally is a lovely lady made us feel really welcome.. Sals is great for bit of lunch, and the great thing is you can phone an order through to be picked up at a certain time, all food cooked to order.

Really yummy all day breakfast. Staff were really friendly and everyone enjoyed their food. Nice to sit outside in the sunshine as well. Will be coming back for lunch soon!

Popped in here to grab a late lunch this afternoon and opted for a bacon & egg roll. You could tell the simple ingredients were high quality. Nice fresh & tasty bread bap. Bacon was not wafer thin & cooked beautifully with wobbly fatty bits removed. Egg fried to perfection, not too runny, not too dry. Prices are very reasonable and not pretentious. Opening hours are very generous, serving 7 days per week and you can ring ahead with your order too! I will definitely be returning sometime soon.

Jacket Potato with Baked Beans and Cheese. Fluffy potato; steaming beans, melted cheese - all in generous helpings and ALWAYS served with a smile and an extra helping of friendly chat. Unbeatable! They take telephone orders and cook to order - nothing is too much trouble. The best thing about Didcot by a mile!

Grabbed a coffee from here to take away with me and it was one of the better take away coffee's I have had in my time. It was a good price and the service was great.

I started going to Keskin's (the former incarnation) back in 2004, when even back then it was by far the best cafe and takeaway in Didcot. Sal was working in there back then and took the place over some time in the past few years whilst I was living away. I have come back and the place is now looking a bit smarter with nicer furniture. The menu is still much the same and the quality is still perfect.Main reason to come here though is customer service, they do an amazing job of remembering how people like their food cooked and any special requests, I literally hadn't visited for about 10 years and she knew exactly how I liked my burger done. It's a really nice working class place to have a burger or a sandwich and a drink, and have a little chat. Proper honest little place where your money is paying the staff and buying the stock, so you always get good quality ingredients rather than lining the pockets of the shareholders of a larger chain.If I'm getting fast food in town during daylight hours, it'll only ever be this place.

Sals snack bar is the best in Didcot. The food is always lovely and cooked to perfection. The staff are also brilliant and will remember you even if youve only been in once. Everything is cooked just how you like it. I normally go in on my lunch break and dont get very long. I always call my order through in advance and its there waiting for me when i arrive. Ive been going to sals for many years and will continue to go for many more years to come.

Sals snack bar is the best in didcot, food always hot and how you like it, bacon cooked perfect as I like my well done and that's how I got it. Food on a hot place, if you want to eat in didcot this is the best place. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Karen

I'm a bacon roll lover and Sal's is the only place you should go in Didcot.However you like your food Sal cooks it. I love my bun 'cremated' not just toasted, my bacon just on edge of crispy. The Mrs likes hers the opposite.Tell Sal once and she remembers.Fabulous quick takeaway grub.Totally recommended.

All of the staff are very friendly, but the food is out of this world ITS SOO GOOD HERE!! Highly recommend the big bite with bacon we go there that often they know what we already want, best place to eat without a doubt and good value for money

Very good value for money, the food is fab, especially the breakfast. My husband is gluten intolerant and the staff were very knowledgable and let him swap food he could not have on his breakfast for things he could at no extra charge and the ladies who work hard there are very helpful :-)

The staff here are friendly, always working hard and make everyone feel very welcome. The food is excellent value, tastes great and is served with a smile. It's good to be able to sit outside with a proper mug of tea, reading the papers provided by Sal's and watching the world go by.
