Bijan’s Kitchen never fails to impress! Their food has remained fantastic over the years, making it the only place that truly satisfies my cravings for Iranian food. I feel so lucky to have this lovely restaurant nearby. The owners’ kindness and warm hospitality make every visit even more special. Highly recommended!

I made the mistake of believing Google reviews, very cheap ingredients, what I'd describe as greasy spoon 5p sausages, the poached eggs had been bathed in vinegar, and my pet hate, a flat white that's not a flat white, it was a latte. A flat white is short and strong, not a bucket of milk! Overall greasy spoon standard but charging a premium.

The most delicious Persian bean and noodle soup (Ash reshteh) I have tasted! I highly recommend the food is this friendly restaurant.

We came across this fab little restaurant whilst looking for somewhere to have lunch. The decor is fab and the staff helpful. The menu was extensive but we only wanted a snack, so settled for hummus, naan and an aubergine dish. These were served promptly and at a reasonable cost. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. Just lovely.

Went to Bijans Kitchen yesterday for my Persian husband's birthday meal. The food and service was great. The kabab momtaz was delicious. My husband was very happy with the over all experience and we will definitely be back again.

Lovely food, very welcoming, great service, highly recommeded

I stopped by for brunch and enjoyed French toast and tea while also eyeing the other mouth-watering food fellow diners were having. The gentleman who served me was so friendly and helpful and even brought my dog some kibbles and water without request. Thank you - I will be back :)

My daughter in law and I had lunch yesterday an we thoroughly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service which was prompt, friendly and attentive. I would highly recommended it.

Lovely dinner at Bijan's Kitchen. Service was great, the waiter was incredibly welcoming, enthusiastic and he guided us towards what to order based on our preferences. The food was tasty, perfectly balanced, the grilled meat (lamb and chicken) was great too. Portions were generous. They even offered us a box of walnut biscuits from Iran after dinner. 100% recommend if you're in Henley and want to try something new and exciting.

We found this lovely little restaurant by chance.. a lot of the others were really busy & quite expensive for what was on offer!! What a gem it was, we ordered a full English breakfast each and coffee. The coffee was served just before our breakfast so we could enjoy them both together. The young ladies who worked there were so friendly & welcoming. Our breakfast was only £11.99 and was so big and very good ingredients that made it very tasty. I would highly recommend if your visiting the town centre.

I can't say enough good things about this place! From the moment we walked in, we felt extremely welcomed. The staff is not only friendly but also genuinely passionate and determined to provide an amazing experience. They were incredibly thoughtful throughout the night, ensuring all 10 of us had a fantastic dinner. Every dish was delicious, and the atmosphere made it even better. We all left really happy and satisfied. This is definitely a spot I'll be coming back to again and again!

Food was great. We had the mixed grill for two. Lovely fresh ingredients and lovely flavours. Been a few times and it has been good every time we’ve been.

Lovely welcome and food was delicious and was great to try new recipes. Loved the Persian tea. We’ll be back again one evening to try more. The lamb shank looked delicious on someone else’s table on our way out.

Food was good, but knowledge of known legally required allergens was poor so couldn’t have a full breakfast. Although the staff were pleasant it is very disappointing for a restaurant to not be able to supply ingredients on all food.

I met the new owner of the restaurant who welcomed us. It's a few times I have tried this restaurant. Dinner time! It was quite busy. We had Persian Starter & main course and drinks. The fresh bread is so delicious. We preferred Kashke bademjoon more than Mirza ghasemi. Mirza ghasemi was needed to be thick. The lady who served us is so friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend it. I would go back again 💯

This was our first visit to Bijans. I always worry when trying something new as I have intolerances. The guy helped me through the menu and I chose Ghormej Sabzi. My husband had Kabab Momtaz. The food was excellent and the staff were so helpful. First time for the food and the Persian tea which was delicious. Would recommend this restaurant.

Popped in for a coffee and breakfast ordered coffee and a tea, my cappuccino tasted like instant coffee with frothy milk, with my full English breakfast which was ok but no brown toast, maybe they should have gone to the market opposite and bought some lovely local bread, my wife ordered the pancakes and berries which should be called whipped cream with cold small pancakes that taste of garlic which she left as I did with my coffee, then went next door to get a decent cup of coffee, definitely won’t be returning!

Every time I visit Bijan’s kitchen I feel welcomed and taken care of by their lovely staff. Food is amazing. Their Kebab is soo tender and tasty you can’t compare it with any other Kebab from other local restaurants, and their food presentation is outstanding. I love their starters and fresh bread and their must have cup of cardamom and saffron tea. The manager, Erfan, is such a nice gentleman who makes sure his guests have a great meal and leave his restaurant with satisfaction. Highly recommend this place 👌

When you visit an amazing location such as Henley-on-Thames, you'd want to eat amazing fresh quality food to make those memories last longer. Well, this is the place to go to for a meal with family and friends if you ever go to this beautiful town or if you live locally. The food is absolutely delicious and tasty. It is cooked to perfection and the service is great. It is located on the high street with the car park just round the corner. Wheelchair friendly and very clean. We had the Ghorme sabzi Stew and a mix grill. The rice were cooked so perfectly and everything tasted so nice and fresh. The salad, the Naan bread, the Kebabs, the Saffron cocktail 🍸 😋 👌 I can't praise this place highly enough and would recommend it to anyone reading this Review. The management and the staffs are so lovely and genuinely care about your experience in their premises. 1 of teb top 10 restaurants I've been to.

Can’t fault Persian food at all. I love the food at Bijans and my little one who is very fussy about food loves pancakes for breakfast at Bijan’s.

My husband and I went to explore the place and try the food. We only ordered one meal, because the nature of our food was limited. We were surprised when the owner of the restaurant prepared a large meal for us and increased the amount of food, out of generosity and kindness on his part. Originally, the food was very delicious, which made us eat it all. We thank him for his hospitality and beauty. His manners, I highly recommend him.

Amazing food and service. We didn't have a booking but were welcomed by a very friendly team. The food was superb - I don't know how they get their chicken so tender! We were gifted some traditional cookies at the end of our meal which was a lovely gesture and very appreciated. Definitely recommended.

This is a lovely place on Henley High Street. The service is great. I will confess the food was not my personal favourite, but it was all very well prepared and the starters were outstanding.

Travelling around the UK in April and arrive in Henley in the rain once again! But the best thing was our lunch at Bijans. The food is so gorgeous and the staff always welcome and treat us so warmly. We go out of our way to visit Bijans when we visit England.

Really good Persian food .I have been looking for a good place that serves Persian dishes and this informal restaurant is an excellent find . On arrival they welcomed us and explained the different dishes and even suggested some alternatives which was great as not everyone is totally familiar with the different ingredients. For starters we had the freshest and most interesting large plate of special Cheese with lots of fresh herbs and gorgeous walnuts served with radishes and spring onions - -- so good to share and have as a perfect starter. The choice of mains are numerous and come with rice - or the persian flatbreads that are Bijans Naans- sprinkled generously with sesame seeds. All Very good accompaniments to the main meals . The kebabs are some of the best I have eaten anywhere -The chicken was lightly spiced and very succulent --as were the lamb skewers and both meat kebabs were really very tasty and " melt in the mouth " . This was a pleasant suprise to find such a good restaurant with this standard of cuisine outside London and the bigger cities. Prices are very reasonable for what you get and the portion sizes are generous - This is now definitely on my " must go again " list. Thank you for an exceptional meal in the lovely setting of Henley On Thames .

We had a very lovely lunch at Bijans. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our food came quickly and was very tasty. We had the Persian Soup, a Toastie & the Dolmeh with some Naan bread to share. The Naan is HUGE and really yummy - would recommend it! Thank you to the staff as well for a lovely gift of some Persian cookies - the children were very excited to have them when we got home!

Excellent delicious food - I've never had anything like it before. The lamb just melted in my mouth. The service was excellent and the person who looked after us was warm and welcoming but not over the top. He got it exactly right. We will definitely be back for more.

My Partner & I have made a change to our common Persian restaurant to try out Bijans Kitchen and we wasn’t disappointed! The Barg was the best I’ve ever had! Spectacular Persian food and incredible service. Had dinner on a Sunday evening celebrating a family birthday and the service and assistance from the beginning to the end was unbelievable. The hosts are very welcoming and really know how to take care of their customers. Big compliments to the Chef for making some of best Persian dishes that put all the Persian restaurants in London to shame. Great location too, 5 minute walk to the Thames for a good stroll to digest the food. First time dining here but will definitely not be the last. Big thanks to Erfan and the team.

The quality and quantity of each dish is great. Furthermore, the service is very friendly and nice. We have been there for Persian new year and they've offered free goodies as well. We ordered Kobideh, Persian shish kebab (Shishlik) and lamb shank. Their Shish kebab is one of the best Persian shish kebab in the UK (Shishlik is not an easy dish and making it perfect would be a complicated task). In terms of service, I must mention Saeed and Alyien, they've been fantastic to provide the best service for us and my niece (a little cutie that usually does but eat restaurant food)! I highly recommend this restaurant and will visit them more.

We hadn't tried Persian food before. Looking at the menu, the food sounded delicious, so we came here with high expectations. We didn't expect to have those expectations shattered. Friendly guys and great food.

The food is amazing, delicious Kababs with rice and great starters with fresh naan! Also, there was very nice and friendly staff who gave us a cookie as a present! I definitely will come back and recommend this place!

I had not realised this gem of a Persian restaurant was here. Try a kebab. They are served with basmati rice, a roast tomato and a salad with pomegranate seeds in. We had our take away and it was wrapped so well, by a great host. Will be back.

We visited this lovely place at lunchtime. As a family of 4, we had 3 paninis & a toastie between us, as well as hot & cold drinks. The drinks came quickly. All the sandwiches were freshly prepared & we all enjoyed what we chose. The staff were really friendly & we even had sweeties when they brought our bill. Well worth a visit.
