The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving American food

I ordered American pancakes with bacon and scrambled eggs, along with a hot chocolate. 1. The scrambled eggs were cold and watery, and it looked like they were just microwaved or reheated. 2. The pancakes were boiling in the middle and cold all around the edges, the maple syrup that came with it had an almost sour taste, but the maple bacon tasted lovely and was hot when it arrived. 3. The hot chocolate itself was perfect, however the rest of the meal except the bacon severely disappointed me. In all honesty, I would’ve gotten a better breakfast from McDonalds down the road.

Have to be honest the food was terrible. Paid £50 for most of it go in the bin. We ordered a selection of food. Will never ever order again

WOW what can I say, after hearing many rumours that this place had recently improved, I decided to take my wife here for Valentines, now let's be honest we visited 2 years ago and I vowed never again but as I said rumour has it the place had turned around and I can now confirm that is true.... Food 10/10 we both had lamb and it was amazing, Service OUTSTANDING what a team! they really have pulled it together, nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel super important by the lovely young man who we now know as Josh the new Manager, it's clear to see the impact he has had, completely turned this place around, we will 100 percent be back!!

Fuimos a este restaurante anoche después de una visita al teatro y no encontramos ningún otro lugar para comer después de caminar de regreso a nuestro hotel, ya que era un domingo por la noche y era tarde. Éramos un grupo de 6 amigos de la Edad Media que nunca habían comido en cinco chicos antes. El personal era encantador muy acogedor, servicial y nos dijo cómo pedimos, encantadoras hamburguesas frescas estaban hechas para nosotros, nos sentamos y comimos y no nos sentimos apresurados a salir. El personal es un crédito a este restaurante, nada fue demasiado problema y allí sonrisas amables hicieron nuestra noche. -Muchas gracias.

We dropped in and we were given a table within a couple of minutes. Good friendly staff good vibe and music. The food was amazing honestly.cant fault a thing.

Me and my daughter went bowling and to the arcades and went to henris after which we have had done numerous times in the past and have always had really good things to say about it but haven’t been for a year or so, I’ve got to say I was so disappointed had the nachos and they were awful was literally just tortilla chips poured into a basket with some some cheese sauce poured over it for £7-£8 is a rip off!! I honestly don’t mind paying money for food but I’ve got to say it was a rip off! My daughter had the child’s fish fingers and they looked like they had been fried 5 times!! I literally ate a mouthful of my meal and my daughter literally just ate her chips with her meal, I was going to talk to a member of staff but either they just didn’t look approachable or far too young to be dealing with complaints, such a massive shame they should of never changed there menu and definitely need more experienced staff!

Food was not worth 32.50 ! Absolute rip off! It’s cheaper and better in Liverpool for same type of food. Place looks cheap where you eat, like a 2*hotel abroad! Bar area looked quite nice tho! Even tho cocktails were like juice. Don’t get how the bar is nice but toilets and eating look like an old social club. Buffet food was god awful too! Literally looked like they’d been Aldi! Stingy with the meat too, only offered the meats once! Wasn’t all you can eat at all! Avoid avoid avoid! Only giving it 2 * cos the waitresses were lovely!!!

Tengo la hamburguesa de las Orcadas y un pollo balti El pollo balti era un curry marrón pálido sin sabor impactante , la hamburguesa era repugnante se suponía que venía con queso y ensalada, pero vino claro que la hamburguesa en sí era sólida como si viniera de alimentos agrícolas No recomendaría este lugar un poco Estoy absolutamente disgustado en la calidad de la comida servida .

Disappointing and to be honest this is a generous 2 based on decent staff keeping us informed. On food alone it would get a 0.5 to 1 Hotdog sausage was nice but the bun was so stale I was checking it for mould blooms! The burger was similar to that served in schools, cheap discount meat, no sauce a bare sprinkle of lettuce and onion. No pickle, No tomato (in their defence that's all as described in menu though) The chicken goujons were nice. Good potion size and crispy. The doh balls went down well with the kids. Queued 20 minutes to order and then advised another 30 mins wait for food, it arrived after 25 minutes, but still two teenagers were practically bouncing off the walls after 45 minutes wait for lunch lol. The bill for 4 drinks and 4 meals (chicken, 2 X hot dogs and burger all with chips and a portion of Doh balls) was very nearly £70 which is lot given the barely acceptable quality but then again you're paying for location and on the positive side, the staff that do give a damn, they kept everybody informed, were always busy and they were smiling! Something of a novelty these days.

Normalmente nos encanta este pub, pero fuimos en Nochevieja y fue muy decepcionante. Intenté tomar una copa antes de medianoche, pero me dijeron que el personal no servía más y que eran sólo las 11: 40 pm. Habría sido genial si esto se ha comunicado con antelación (ya sea en el correo electrónico de confirmación de mi reserva o poniendo carteles alrededor del pub) .

Rubbish clearly says you can use your Tastecard on a Sunday but they refused to take my booking.Avoid at all cost , rude staff as well.

We stopped for tea her on a Saturday. It wasn't busy, very chilled. I was most impressed by the latest Vegan menu they offer.. there was so much choice! I was looking forward to trying the new Vegan hot dog but sadly they had sold out. For dessert I highly recommend the 'No Cheesecake'. Overall a great experience. The waitress we had was very friendly and attentive. We all left full, happy and would visit again.

Wonderful food; great hospitality. We had a great dinner and very fairly priced. I recommend to any lover of Mediterranean food!

We were recommended to stop off here by our hosts at our Airbnb when we left. As it was Sunday breakfast time we thought this might be nice. We definitely wasn’t disappointed! A lovely cafe set in pretty surroundings and friendly staff with gorgeous food. I had a “starter” breakfast (bacon, sausage, egg and tomato on sour dough toast with a pot of tea and my husband had a sausage sandwich with a fried egg and an americano coffee with hot milk. Both came freshly cooked and tasted delicious. We thought the prices were very reasonable and very friendly service. Such a gem of a cafe! Glad we came. My husband visited the toilets too and said they were extremely clean. I’d recommend this cafe highly if you’re in the area … we were staying in Carlton so very close by. Fab cafe!
