Frankie & Benny's in Liverpool

Food was good as always, we’ve been to a couple of Frankie and Benny’s before, but the service here was incredible,they were very attentive from the moment we walked in the door, and the server we had (her name was Faith I believe) was so lovely; she spoke to us for a while and was very accommodating with food, drinks, desert etc. Definitely recommend this place, if you’re just stopping off for the way to Liverpool or if you’re out shopping at edge lane, there’s nowhere in the area better!

First of all we go here quite a lot, breakfast and dinner, the staff are amazing and are always friendly and helpful. Never had a bad meal not once! Consistently great food. Be back again very soon 😍 had the dirty hot dog and fries today it was so tasty and hot just great 👌👌👌

On to gig number three on consecutive days found us in Liverpool. We had looked online and decided to eat on the outskirts of the city as our parking space wasn’t available till 6pm. Anyway, up we rock only to find the place we had hoped to eat at had closed down! I should know better than to rely on ‘guides’ on the internet. But perched there was a Frankie’s & Benny’s. Now this was a get some food rather than an end destination so we went in, neither of us had ever visited any branch before so we weren’t entirely sure what to expect. It was clean, bright and warm. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who showed us to our table. We were really impressed with the range of foods on the menu, just shows how you shouldn’t pre judge! We both ordered mocktails which were lovely, loaded potato skins, Salmon and a vegan pepperoni pizza. The service was efficient but not intrusive even when the restaurant got really busy. The loaded potato skins(cheese & spring onions) were ok, although my husband thought they were fantastic. His pizza was really nice, with just enough spice to be tasty without putting off a spice wimp. My salmon was really nice and very filling. Again beautifully presented. After this hubby decided he really wanted a thick milk shake, which looked fabulous and I was assured it tasted as good as it looked. I ordered a pineapple juice and whilst it was lovely it was huge! The toilets were immaculate and fully accessible. They have an outside seating area, possibly not for October though! We were really full and really impressed with this excellent hidden gem. If we are ever out and about we would certainly visit again.

We dropped our bags after a long day and just needed a quick bite to eat nearby. F&B was in close proximity so we took a stroll there and were met by bright and cheerful staff. We grabbed a pizza and a lasagne washed down with Peroni and Malbec. Drinks were nice and the food was average. Staff are the highlight so no complaints for the money.

Went with a friend for some food went Frankie’s cos it’s nice but not to expensive, had a great server called Ruby she was really nice and friendly, made lots of recommendations to us and told us about deals on and benefits we could get as students to save, really great service from the staff and great food would definitely go again 10/10

Haven't been to a FNB for over 15 years...we thought this one was great. The floor manager and waitress Faye and Tara looked after us really well Lots of options for vegans Really tasty food Good bar too Flet like there was a good vibe amongst the staff and the kitchen. Had to leave this review ' the gcse offer was designed to bring in families yet when my son and 5 mates bounced in for 6 free pizza's and 6 free cokes you where kind enough to honour the deal . We will come in as a family again now You made their days thank you

We visited for Mother's day and had a wonderful time, breakfast was amazing, service was excellent, and the staff lovely. Great time, one of the best I've been too 👍

I visited Frankie and Benny's on Saturday morning, whilst waiting for my car to be sorted at the local garage. I ordered the Beef brisket, onion and Tater tots topped with egg and chilli. I was intrigued to why there was Chilli on it? When the dish arrived it did not look at all presentable nor did it taste nice when I lifted the eggs there was hardly any Beef brisket and over loaded with Chilli sauce and floating in grease which I think the onions had just been fried in. The sauce the chilli sauce had over powered the whole dish. The Latte I ordered was cold but the waitress got me another one That said I don't think I will be visiting Frankie and Benny's again to waste my money as that was my first visit I was not at all impressed.

What can I say about frankie and bennys Edge lane fantastic was greeted by lovely staff when walked through the door was seated and served by ethan think that's how you spell his name ha then we have to speak to a manger over something lovely lady called Rukki she did every to make us happy excellent as always Merry Christmas to all staff xxx

Terrible service for the second time ordered drinks the were sat at end of bar for 15min before getting them myself order starters only 1 arrived then asked were the rest was it hadn't been made when it did arrive it was wrong other customers who came in after us had the starters the having the mean meal so decided to leave staff terrible in the won't be going agai

We got there early afternoon and the place was dead with only 3 other tables being served, as it was so quiet we thought we might have been in and out but were sadly mistaken...my partner ordered a calamari, some parts of the squid were not fully covered with batter and were purple which was off-putting. The mains took about 40 minutes to arrive, my partner's pasta and meatballs had clearly been heated up in the microwave as parts of the meatballs were piping hot and other parts were stone cold. My gluten free burger arrived with a jacket potato (no salad or anything else on the plate, can yous seriously not come up with an additional gluten free side/starter other than just a jacket potato?) Tried biting into my GF bun which was rock hard, had to send it back and was given a new one, waiter was very apologetic. When it arrived back the burger had clearly been torched and was tastless. I asked for some butter to accompany my solitary jacket potato, I was given 2 little sachets of butter and when opened they were liquid like they had been sat on a window ledge in the sun all day. Brownie and ice cream dessert was nice, salted caramel cheesecake was far too rich. The waiting staff were pleasant and professional but were let down by some awful food. Will not be visiting again.

I hadn't been to frankie and bennys since lockdown so we decided to go for old times sake as the old ones had shut down dirong covid. We decided to go the edge lane and review the food for old times sake. What can i say.... Well nothing good!! This place should shut down as well Infact i am surprised it's still open let me explain why. #1 awful customer service. No staff at door and the venue was not busy at all so we decided to sit ourselves down. Once sat sown we was greeted with a staff member.... oh you cant sit there he said!! you should have waited by the door!.... But no one was at the door? Then the staff member wanted to take us back to the door which we was confused by. As we got to the door he confirmed there was seats available even though the place was near empty then decided to sit us down after all this strange rigmarole asif he was on some power trip. Not a good start!! #2 when the food arrived we was greeted with a charcoal black garlic bread missing food and the food that we did get was either cold or just not cooked properly. We sent the garlic bread back obviously at this point they asked was everything ok with our food..... Well no but at this point i give up pointing out how bad this place actually is. The ribs was like chewing a rubber gummy full off grease and fat not hot at all and under cooked... Even the corn on cob was pathetic and was near freezing still. The missing food turned up after we had to remind the staff mac and cheese balls whoch was absolutely vile and guess what.... Freezing cold!! Yep they don't seem to like serving hot food here. The coca cola was also flat ad a pancake how is it possible for a place to get things so wrong? I would never eat here again I will not recommend ot to anyone and I'll make sure people avoid this awful place save your money. You would be better off buying yourselves a microwave meal. 1 star i wouldn't give it 1 star but unfortunately there is no option for 0 Stay away you've been warned!!!

Went for dinner with my family in the middle of the week. Food was good but service was well below expected standard. The app didnt recognise the table number so we had no choice but to wait for a staff to take the order. This took quite some time. The starters arrived quickly but mains took longer than expected to arrive and they were luke warm when they did arrive. The usual midmeal check to see if all is ok never happened. The floor staff were highly disorganised and didnt seem adequately trained. We had to ask for the bill twice and had to walk up to the front to remind them again. When the bill came it was slammed on the table. Finally the wrong amount which looked like someone else’s bill was input. We pointed it out and said this is much lower than what we should be paying did the waitress correct it on the card machine. Poor experience. We usually like Frankie and Bennys and hopefully some staff training will improve matters.

Popped in for dinner with my partner January 2020 and as we were doing veganuary we wanted the vegan menu. The waitress was friendly and gave us the menu which had an ok selection my starter of filled jackets was nice my pasta main was ok but a little bland my partner had the same main and he thought the same. We found that few places got vegan dishes so right and others either went too spicy or too bland, I just felt a little more flavour and maybe other vegetables such as aubergine would’ve helped.

Ordered pizza and burgers and it’s was super tasty and delicious. I would have preferred my pizza more cooked but not their fault I like mostly burnt pizza. Enjoyable meal. We will order here again. 👍

Do not come here if you are wanting a large meal your basically overpriced for everything staff kind but food disgusting .DO NOT GO THERE!

Ayer por la tarde llamamos con la esperanza de encontrar una mesa, pero tenía muchas dudas de que consiguiéramos una. F & be es el restaurante favorito de mis hijas de todos los tiempos y de donde somos todos han cerrado después del covid, lo que rompió el corazón de mi hija. En un fin de semana fuera de Liverpool quería sorprenderla con un frankies, así que llamé y me dieron una mesa de inmediato que me encantó. El restaurante estaba limpio y tenía un ambiente encantador, mi hija estaba muy, MUY emocionada y nuestro camarero era becca. Una chica encantadora, un gran servicio al cliente y mucha paciencia con mi hija Kari, que puede ser muy excitable. Muchas gracias. Realmente hiciste que su visita a Frankies fuera de nuevo muy especial.Nunca cambie los menús veganos, son los mejores restaurantes de todos los tiempos. No puedo culpar a Frankie & Bennys nunca.

Visité esta noche (17/08/20) había reservado con anticipación como lunes por la noche con comer fuera para ayudar a la oferta corriendo, llegamos un poco temprano para nuestra reserva y fueron recibidos en la puerta por una mujer joven realmente encantadora (ojalá sabía su nombre) que tomó nuestros datos, nos dijo que nuestra mesa estaría libre pronto y pasó por los procedimientos de seguridad establecidos en relación con Covid. Luego procedió a pasar el tiempo charlando con nosotros y haciendo que nuestro corto tiempo de espera pasara rápida y felizmente. Al entrar en el restaurante recibidos por un personal amable y sonriente detrás del bar y una agradable camarera nos llevó a nuestra mesa. Este enfoque amistoso del personal realmente significó mucho para mí, ya que puedo ponerme nervioso yendo a lugares en los que nunca he estado antes y convertirme en ansiedad social, pero el esfuerzo realizado por todos los miembros del personal que encontré fuera y dentro del restaurante antes Incluso había ordenado que me hiciera sentir relajado y cómodo. Había desinfectantes en la entrada, marcas en el piso, mesas espaciadas socialmente y una limpieza constante, lo que nuevamente me hizo sentir cómoda y segura. El servicio fue insuperable, las bebidas llegaron con prontitud, la orden se tomó rápidamente y la comida se llevó (los 3 platos) con muy poco tiempo de espera. Los cuatro disfrutamos de la comida que comimos junto con la experiencia de salir a cenar. Gracias a todo el personal de Frankie & Benny's, todos ellos excelentes. Sin duda recomendaría ir a comer aquí y volveré muy pronto.

Came here today for lunch with friends food was Amazing I had new pasta dish was yummy. Friends both had a pizza each they enjoyed it to will be returning!

We met some friends in liverpool and our way back home we stopped by this restaurant. We were served by Jorge and Luis and they made our experience very pleasant and nice. Thanks guys. Will be back when in Liverpool

Visited for something light so the three of us ordered a starter followed by a salad. I had the Dolce Vita which was chicken and bacon with blue cheese, very nice but the chicken was dry.Our waiter George was great, friendly and helpful, the only thing that spoiled it was a children’s birthday party, children running up and down which considering it’s a restaurant wasn’t good.

Went for a Sunday morning vegan breakfast which was delicious, swapped the avocado for extra mushrooms as I’m not a fan, not an issue at all. Excellent service throughout from Adam and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Would like to go again to try other vegan options.

Came for breakfast this morning was greeted by a friendly manager and served by Ethan. Couldn’t have been more helpful and polite! Will be back! :)

Really great portions of piping hot delicious food. Booked for a busy Saturday tea time and everything was great.Freindly staff, nice atmosphere and LOTS OF LOVELY FOOD !!!

Staff were fantastic and very helpful within the constraints of the F & B rules, especially our server Ellie, however some of the food, not all, was very much a let down, the lasagne and ribs were really not nice and the chicken burger was very tough. Was disappointed that there were no small plates on offer as a member of our party is not able to eat normal size meals and we were informed we were unable to order a kids meal for that person. They ended up just ordering a side dish. You would really have to judge the food for yourselves but there can be no complaints about the staff who deserve a medal for some of the things they have to put up with.

We visited today for lunch and the food was excellent,our server Rebecca was very welcoming and friendly we would thoroughly recommend here, there is a lovely atmosphere and everywhere was spotlessly clean thank you Rebecca.

Great food reasonably priced too. Was served by a waitress called Taylor who was extremely helpfully. One of my friends has allergies and she went through the menu with us.

Me and my husband came here last weekend, 25/26 of January, for a lovely weekend In liverpool and nothing could have started our day off better than breakfast at your establishment! From the service from Adam to the excellent managers and bartender! Made our weekend all that more magical just from giving us a good start to the day, thank you!

Took my sons (age 5 & 8) out for a treat for dinner, We was served by Taylor who was lovely, beautiful manners, beautiful smile. The service we received was excellent as well as the food. Will definitely be visiting again.

Couldn’t tell you what the food was like because we walked out after twenty minutes, because they had not even offered us a drink, never mind taken our food order. Appalling service. Went to Chiquitos next door and had drinks in hand and ordered food all within 5 mins of sitting down.

We were greeted by a lovely lady called Sophie who was the manager , we were asked if we had any allergies this was brilliant to find out they ask this as I have a lot of allergies , Sophie was very thorough explaining that they now meet the needs of people with food allergies . Sophie went through a lot with me and gave me the pad to click what I was allergic too and then I was able to see what I could eat , it’s outstanding the food I could actually eat and I wouldn’t of known, Sophie went above and beyond and we could not of asked for more , as a manager she’s extremely brilliant at her job making sure everything is ok and making sure the chef was told of other things I had mentioned to her there is fantastic communication. The food was beautiful very tasty and I walked out feeling amazed that I now can go somewhere that meets the needs of food allergies. As I have to eat gluten free due to coeliac disease I was provided with the GF menu. I was told that I couldn't have the lunch time special which I found unusual as I have eaten in many F & B restaurants before and they have always accommodated this and included my requirements in a lunch time deal...not this time! I ordered GF pasta and bolognase sauce, the portion of both pasta and sauce was extremely poor, so much so that I had to ask for extra sauce! Also I had to ask for Parmesan cheese. I have never before been made to feel "different" due to a medical condition which I have no control over! This certainly was not a lunch time treat and I complained after the meal for which I was told it is F & B's restaurant policy not to offer inclusion in lunch time specials and portion sizes are standard! Usually I have I pleasant experience but not here and I will certainly give this restaurant a swerve in future. People who require GF food should think twice before going here as my meal looked an extremely poor second to that of my colleague, no inclusion for special needs here folks!

We came to Frankie and bennys and we was served by a lovely girl called Ellie she couldn’t do enough for us. All the staff there were brilliant to be fair. Such a friendly atmosphere and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Called into Frankie and Bennys on Edge Lane as I had purchased a voucher on Groupon. From the minute we walked in we were made to feel like nothing was too much effort! Sophie and Adam were incredible! Very welcoming, great service and good craic. The food was great too. For being a chain and never really expecting much we were blown away. I visited this wonderful Eatery on Edge Lane Liverpool L13 1FA in early December and received a warm welcome and excellent service. Though busy we were quickly found a seat, drinks order taken and menu provided. The service after that was equally efficient, the quality of the fare was excellent and the eventual cost, which included a couple of promotional discounts was excellent. We were looked after by George, our main waiter and Ellie. The evening was overseen by Sophie. We send our thanks to them and to the kitchen staff involved. Thanks yous.The Man in Red!

Tonight we visited Frankie & Benny's in Edge Lane Liverpool, from the very beginning the staff went above and beyond, the food and service was excellent and Johanna was a fabulous host. We had 3 courses for 8 adults from the mains menu with drinks along with a child's option from the child menu for less than £230.00. This was excellent value for money, the food and drinks perfect, the cleanliness of the restaurant and its facilities could not be faulted, thank you again and a big thank you to Johanna x

I visited yesterday for the first time. but not. service is slow. Tasteless dry food. I spoke to the supervisor and was arrogant. I understand that I was busy but I don't have to be arrogant. Not came again

Great food. Waiter named Luis was extremely friendly & polite, making jokes. Luis enhances the overall experience and is a true asset to the company.

Food was nice. But my wife has a medical condition that prevents her eating much. So she asked if she could order off the children’s menu and was refused!!!! It’s not like we was asking for an adults meal and paying for a kids!! She wanted a smaller portion of spaghetti bolognase and was told no!!

Came here with my house mates on Friday 18th October! Lovely food and Becky was so friendly and welcoming as well! She was a great laugh and made the meal even better. Give her a pay rise 👍 #beckyisthebest

I came to frankie and bennies this afternoon with my family to be welcomed with smiles and friendly service from a young male named Ethan, he made mine and my family’s visit enjoyable and I will definitely be returning! Also food was amazing and overall atmosphere was lovely, it’s nice to see staff working with a great attitude! Hats off to Ethan again

Was in yesterday with my mum, sister and son, was served by Becky she was very attentive even though the restaurant was very busy. My son was fussing an hungry she noticed an asked if I would I like his meal with starters which was great !! Food was perfect an staff will be back.

Went as a large family group everyone happy with food and drinks. Super helpful staff sang happy birthday and served our own cake. V good vegan options nocheese cake lovely.

We were served by Adam who couldn’t do enough for us. I was amazed to see how allergen-friendly it was, great meal choices and really knowledgable about allergens put us at ease. The children really enjoyed it too and my child with a dairy allergy got to eat everything that the others did too! Will definitely be back.

We often visit a Frankie & Benny's for breakfast so tried this one whilst in the area. We arrived early on a Sunday morning so as it was reasonably quiet, our food arrived quickly. The food was pretty good, particularly the breakfast stack. Service was OK but some of the booths are quite cramped and not overly easy to get in and out of.

Save your money and go somewhere else! The food was rubbish, burger was hard, bacon was burnt, chicken was dry. It took them about 30 mins to serve us whom with a hungry toddler, because apparently they can only afford ONE staff at 12:10 lunch time!? Will never return ever!

Would like to thank everyone at Frankie and bennys who made my baby’s 2nd birthday the best, serving food to 22 of us getting it out super fast all food was perfect , give us the back of the restaurant all to ourselves, would specially like to thank the main girl who served are food (can’t remember her name:(..) I would defiantly recommend this to anymore if booking a birthday meal or even just a quick bite to eat , we always eat here that’s why we picked to celebrate our babies birthday here and we would sure visit again soon ! Should have 3 pieces of bacon, come out Rick hard and burnt. Frayed eggs uncooked only enough butter for half of the toast. Dessert spoon of beans in a tube. Mushrooms cold, could tell was frozen ones.. only thing I could say was ok was the hot cup of tea. Would never go back.

Thoroughly disappointed with our visit to the Edge Lane restaurant tonight. Firstly, we were seated in the busiest area nearest the door, so we asked if we could move to a quieter part where we could relax more. A waiter came over and took our order, and we were served with drinks quite soon after. However our starters didn’t appear for 45 mins, despite frantic looks at our waiter. Although the food was fine, we then waited a further 30 minutes, without any signs of the main course, before getting totally fed up and leaving. We spoke to the duty manager who muttered a vague apology, but was not in a position to offer any form of compensation. Several times our waiter tried to reassure us our food would be arriving shortly, but when we requested he actually checked the kitchen, he wandered off and starting chatting to other people, or pretended to be distracted by something else. We felt obliged to pay the £25.60 for the 6 prawns and the 2 pints of flat shandy that we had consumed but honestly , what an absolute waste of time and money. Highly recommend NOT giving this restaurant your patronage !

Never again,the wait for drinks just on 20 mins,another 15 mins for a starter then another 30 mins for mains,staff just standing by the bar.Waste of money.

Been to Frankie and Benny’s lots but never for breakfast before. We had a very tasty breakfast yesterday Ellie served us she was so lovely. We’ll be going again soon & we’ll be letting all our family know how well looked after we were thank you.

Very disappointed with food and service. Staff ignorant and food very bland. Not once asked if OK took 3 attempts to get bill which was then just thrown on table. When told food was bland staff replied "oh" no apology nothing. Then after leaving to be chased and shouted at by manager in carpark for 'not paying and just leaving' when had I fact left money on table. Shocking all round will not be going again and will tell others not to.If that's the way your staff deal with problems it's a disgrace and that manager who spouted off in carpark was lucky I was with mother in law tbh.

I’ve been here once before and the service was average, but we came today and the service was impeccable. Both working in hospitality, we already have our standards as to great service and Rebecca, our server, was fantastic!From being seated until us leaving, she was there at every moment and nothing was too much!Will definitely come back, just for the service!

Came her for brekkie previously and again September 2018 for partners nieces 16th birthday. These were the first time we’d been back since it reopening place is now modern breakfast was lovely and our evening meal good too. Staff friendly and on hand.

I came here today with my little boy for the first time today as we are not from this area, and he absolutely loved it!, we was sat down by Josie who took are drinks order, must I say I recommend the coke float my son ordered this and drank it within seconds he enjoyed so much!we quickly ordered and the starters came just minutes late, same with the main course! it was so tasty. Hats of to the chefs atmosphere in the restaurant wasn’t the best as they was very busy, but I see why they are busy with such lovley staff,food and service!unfortunately it’s very rare I will come back as we’re not from around here, but I will 100% recommend to family and friends, only positive things I can say, which isn’t a bad thing! Thanks again to our waitress josie for making my sons day

Recently we have eaten at the Clarke's Village, Street branch. Very enjoyable. Back in our home town, decide to have lunch at this branch. Lunch menu only available Monday to Friday. I had the BBQ cheese chicken wrap, like I had at Street. Coleslaw was watery in comparison. Smaller portion of fries. Husband decide to have the Cajun chicken wrap, which he thought was tasteless! Seemed a long wait before we got our food. Attention needs to be paid to the gaps between the cushioned seating, old food down there. Will not be returning to this branch. Since rebuilt it lacks character and is noisy. Staff fine

I’ve been a Trip Advisor member for several years now, and I think this is my first ever 1 star review, so please don’t think it’s the norm.I visited this restaurant with a group of 11 other guys, intending to follow our day on the golf course with a meal and a couple of drinks but unfortunately that wasn’t to be.A Waiter met us at the arrival point and initially tried to split our group in two and accommodate us at two separate tables. (8 & 4). Not very sociable, so we took matters into our own hands and moved one table onto the end of the others, to accommodate the full party, without invading or interfering with any other Customers space. You’d think the Waiter would have showed the initiative to do that but instead he seemed peeved it was happening.We ordered Drinks, Starters and Main Course meals, and then waited, and waited, and waited. After about 40 mins, the Starters arrived, minus mine. Several minutes later, a dish was presented to me, and though it wasn’t the dish I’d ordered, I decided to keep the peace and eat it.On completion of the Starters, we waited for another 45 minutes before asking “where on earth are our Main Courses”, to be told “they’ll be here in a few minutes”.As we’d now been in the restaurant for an hour and a half, I said that’s enough for me, I’m off to the McDonalds across the road for a burger but just as I reached the front door, my pals shouted to say the Meals had arrived, so I returned to my seat.Hard to believe I know but once again all the meals were served except mine, which was only a Pizza, so not exactly difficult to prepare. On questioning them, they looked blank and said it would be “right there”.Obviously not the case, as I waited several more minutes before deciding for the 2nd time that I’d had enough and was going across the road for a burger. I informed them of this, said I wasn’t paying for what I’d had, and if they wanted to report me, the Police would find me in McDonalds.On my way out, I met the Manageress, who was carrying the dish I’d ordered for starter. She said it had been put through as a Main Course, and that’s what caused the confusion. She also said I could have it for free, at which point I laughed and said goodbye.Within 5 mins I’d ordered and was eating my Burger and Chips in McDonalds, swearing I’d never return to Franke & Benny’s again. As for other Customers, it’s not my intention to dissuade you from going but I’d certainly think twice before visiting this particular establishment because it’s chaotic.PS: On paying the bill, our group received a £70 reduction for the inconvenience they’d suffered. Sounds generous but I’m sure that would include the starter, Main Course and bottle of red wine I’d ordered.

My wife and I got a dinner for two deal at Frankie&Benny's on line. It was excellent value with two courses and a bottle of excellent red for £25 for two people. The highlight of the evening for my wife and me was Ellie, our waitress, who was one of the most personable and delightful we can remember. She is a credit to the restaurant!

Visited on the way to the airport, tried the lunch menu and we're not disappointed. Upon arrival staff were friendly and plenty of choice on the lunch menu including Vegetarian and Vegan options. Food served with timely service and of good standard. Will definitely visit again.

Half a rack of ribs, are normally a descent size, i was lucky if i got 3 thin ribs on the piece I had, and was thin to say the least, at £11.49 it is a rip off

Went on a Sunday. Food was slow coming. Some of it was cool rather than hot. The bill took ages to come and was wrong. Won't be going again.

The service was so slow! fries under cooked. the kids brownie was tiny! Literally one bite (I’m not over exaggerating) the table next to us even looked shocked. I would be embarrassed to serve that. Chicken parmigiana wasn’t even hot. Kids strawberry sundae, no cream or shortbread crumble which was stated on the menu. No attention to detail. I had the Mediterranean salad, the most saddest salad I’ve ever seen, tasted ok just boring and underwhelming. Won’t be back. I did however enjoy the vegan cheesecake and the staff were friendly hence the 2 stars

Do NOT buy a groupon, or similar, for this place. They treat you like krappiola. We went there and I have to say that, while the waiter and the food were both excellent, the overall service was appalling.We waited one hour and fifteen mi utes for outlrmainmeal to arrive, and, while it was nice, the chef must move at the speed of continental drift. SEVENTY FIVE MINUTES!!!!!The waiter was nice enough, and we spent an extra £15 on top of the voucher price, but the speed of service required the use of a calendar.As I've said though, in their defence and trying to be fair, the food was very nice. The staff are plantiful and pleasant, so it must be the chef(s)!!! The menu is more varied than most places, but I'll be honest and say that I like a mixed flgrill to at least resemble a TRADITIONAL mixed grill.. None of this finger food nonsense... Wings, ribs, and all kinds of rubbish. Tje prices are WAY TOO HIGH in my opinion, with most starters priced at very-North of a fiver, and most mains not far short of a £20 note. Very dear in my opinion, although Londoners are probably drooling over our low prices. I think, as the title of this review suggests, that we were treated like 2nd class citizens because we wereona groupon. We have had this any times, as I sure many of you have, that groupon just gets you through the door. It is the a battle of wills to get you to spend a tonne 9f money more... Just as we did just so we could have a drink and one of the dearer menu items. The place irself felt very plastic, and the music was truly awful (with no optipnbto not listen to it). So..... Nice food, dear prices, good selection..... But did I mention THOSE PRICES.

Just got back from a lovely, chilled dinner at Frankie & Benny’s. Not too busy so got served straight away. Food was well cooked and served quickly. Taylor, our waitress was really helpful and friendly. Not sure how busy it gets on weekends but will definitely go back during the week.

Have been here before and it was average.. nothing to complain about. However this time we went.. even though our server was lovely and the starters were lovely and came out quick, we waited 30 minutes for main meals, I ordered penne pasta and meatballs, the pasta was squishy and over cooked, meatballs were ok. We also ordered classic cheese burger, it came with mayo under the patty, on top of the patty and then onto of the lettuce too.. also with a tub of what we think was mayo on the plate. Made the burger cold and almost inedible. We were reluctant to complain as the starters were so good, and I get that it's not a 5 star restaurant, but we were then left waiting 40 minutes for desserts, two lava cakes came out stone cold, I complained and explained they should be warm, and said I didn't want one of them because I had waited so long. They brought my brothers cake back out. The same lava cake that had been microwaved and had squished onto the plate It was brought over by a manager who said 'sorry, its squished, and it's the last one' and she walked away. The managers attitude was awful. They had to deal with a problem with deliveries too but that's not the customer's fault, and they should have been more friendly and approachable. We just heard them telling off the kitchen staff which was not nice to see. Over all I payed £60 for a meal that was not up to parr. Didn't bother filing a complaint as they will most likely offer us a voucher for F&B's but we will NEVER be returning.

Came here for a meal on Friday about 5ish as I'd been to Aintree before and it was nice. Arrived and the service was good however pretty sure I saw the managers polishing cutlery and re-setting tables whilst the waiters were obviously struggling to keep up. Managers should be helping them and actually managing the place instead of doing a job that I'm pretty sure they call bussing? Obviously understaffed and maybe if they kept an eye on the restaurant instead of doing that my food would've been hot. My waitress was great, tried everything she could to make our experience as good as possible however overheard one of the waiters swearing and laughing (not sure of his name but had brown hair and was quite skinny) which wasn't pleasant as there were children around. Very unsatisfied and they should seriously get more helping staff.

Food was okay but expected more from the house burger. Service was very slow, especially when asking for the bill at the end. Wouldn’t visit again

Jessie made the experience amazing. We came on mothers day and even though it was busy he made us feel warm and welcome. Food was also very tasty.

I came to Frankie and Benny’s over the past weekend as I was visiting my daughters who go to Liverpool hope university. We popped in for some food during the daytime of the Saturday and were greeted with sights of Hawaii. Not very sure about the decor and as it’s an American Italian diner none of us expected what we saw, we asked our waiter Ethan who amusingly was dressed as a man being eaten by a shark, what the whole thing was for, he explained it was the restaurants frst birthday after the reopening last year. We ordered and didn’t wait to long for Drinks nor our starters. My daughters hasn’t Garlic bread which if I must say was a bit greasy and soggy but our server soon sorted that out and got us a new one. Ethan was very attentive to us and surrounding tables, we noticed other tables would ask him things as he would walk by and he would oblige every request. Then onto mains the ribs were PERFECTION, completely settled my belly and my dautghers were very pleased with their wraps. I feel the only downside to our visit is that I had bought a charity bag off of a young gentleman which contained a voucher for money off but at the time was not told I wouldn’t be able to use that on this current visit, which personally I think should be information he should have divulged. All In all a pleasant visit and we’re glad to have been a part of your party Frankie and Benny’s. John.

Poor quality over priced food, really disappointing. Over cooked burgers with a hand full of fries were just one of the highlights.
