TGI Fridays in Liverpool

I’ll be honest, hadn’t had TGI’s in some time but had a great meal tonight, Ribs and Chicken were great but was really our server who perked us up after a long drive. Apologies if we got this wrong but i think her name was Mollie, she was really chipper and lovely, and patient while i couldn’t decide what i wanted. Great to have a personable touch which often gets lost in big franchises. Will definitely return next time. Thanks guys

Went for a bottomless brunch over the Easter Weekend. Food was tasty and filling with a good amount of options for bottomless drinks. Our server Tilly was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, a lovely experience and would recommend

Good location, next to the Ninja warrior course. Brilliant service from Andrea!! Couldn't do enough to help us. Food was great, maybe a bit overpriced. Would recommend to anyone.

Great food as always, and some good deals on. Our waitress, Gemma, deserves special mention for being super attentive and so friendly!

Gemma was an angel, we had a tough day ahead just stopped in for a bite. Her customer service was next to none and welcomed us as if she’d knows us years such an asset to the team. Thanks Gemma 😊❤️

Ordered a few times for delivery and had it cancelled twice with no explanation. I'm sure they wouldn't cancel if I was in tgi. They need removing from just eat if they can't be bothered.

I went to TGI Speke with my family to celebrate my son’s 13th birthday and had an awesome time! The experience was excellent based on the incredible and patient service Andrea provided. She was really great and the dinner party was a success because of her.

Went for daughters birthday with her friends, was in there almost 2 hours for 1 course, service extremely slow, waited over 25 minutes for kids ice cream to come. Food is average and over priced for what you get. Burger and chips £20 and was on a small plate. Kids were bored and by the end even I just wanted to leave. Won’t be in a rush to return and would rather visit independent restaurants as quality of this chain isn’t great anymore.

Lovely place, very attentive staff, food was amazing and atmosphere was lovely. We asked for specific changes and no mistakes at all which was refreshing. I would say it’s pricey and since the last time we visited the menu has shrunk a little. Overall a lovely experience just be aware that it is expensive.

We came for my son’s birthday. Service was extremely slow! Waited over an hour for our food…think their service is quite slow as been before & took some time too but not this long! We complained& they did give us complimentary shakes & free food & did the birthday song for me but it spoilt the experience a little

UPDATE 12 March 2024 TGI Fridays - Speke, Liverpool. Firstly the lady serving me and my friend was very nice and pleasent. But....we ordered a honey glazed burger and it was totally overpriced. It was literally just a burger with dressings and a bag of average chips in a multi coloured wrapper! I ordered a refillable diet coke but my friend was not allowed refillable as she wanted full coke!! What a rip off. We decided to try out the two cocktails for £16 which was expensive...we were staggered to be told we could only have two of the same cocktail- just ridiculous. The wine selection was very poor and guess what - way overpriced by the glass and the bottle. Trying to overcharge customers for an average restaurant experience is not a great marketing strategy. +++++ A year ago.....Food was good and service people were ok overall....I have marked it down as its too expensive for what it is, thats for both food and drink.

Service was really slow, in there almost 2 hours for 1 course, food arrived and it’s very average compared to what you can get elsewhere. Expensive for what you actually receive. Won’t be rushing to return.

From the moment we entered we were warmly welcomed and seated straight away. The table was clean and ready for us. We were assigned our waitress (Jade) who was bubbly, friendly and helpful. Drinks were bought to us in good time and as food orders taken, Jade carefully wrote down my ‘tweaks’. My meal was delivered as I ordered. When the food came we were checked on regularly by Jade and the team and the service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and organised. Well done to all, thoroughly enjoyed my visit and the food. Thank you.

So today has been such a big day at the hospital for my daughter that we had to celebrate somewhere of her choice TGI Friday and I can't thank the staff that looked after us and made it so much more spectacular they really go that extra mile and made the day even more special thank you. The food was incredible as well as the atmosphere

Food was out of this world. The onion rings are the best I ever had. Service started off slow, but got better. Andrea our server was lovely and very down to earth. She really cared about your experience and went the extra mile.

Waited a long time for a table even tho we had booked in advance, the service was extremely slow. When we did ask for drinks the staff were very friendly and polite always very willing to help, we found we were having to ask three or four times as our orders had been forgotten about. The staff were run off their feet as it looked like one person had way too many tables to look after, Food was delicious tho. I've been a waitress and it is extremely hard work trying to be attentive and clean tables and remember orders, so maybe TGI's might allocate less tables, give Thier staff a chance to deliver better service by not being rushed off there feet and concentrate on quality of service instead turn over of customers. Otherwise we love the restaurant x

Came today as a treat for my young son after shopping in the retail park. It wasn't busy about 15 people max. We were seated as soon as we walked in by a greater but after over half an hour of waiting no-one even came for our drinks order an we were left sitting there and didn't see a waitress to even ask so we walked out.

Went for a quick bite to eat after shopping! We were served by Lydia A and she was amazing, the food was brought out really quickly and was lovely and warm!

We collected our order. There was a slight delay and Staff apologised. The order was missing sweet potato fries (which you do pay extra for) but got house fries instead. The Milkshakes were lovely. The other items we ordered were nice. I was very dissapointed by my Festive Beefburger. It was just a plain burger patty and a bun with none of the seasonal sauces or toppings. The advertised photo and description did not match what I recieved. I posted this on New Years Eve and Customer Services commented. I contacted them with the reference number and I have heard nothing. Dissapointing.

First time here won’t be returning My daughters meal was horrendous Over priced “Two for the price of 1” cocktails charging at £16 each! More like get two charged for two 24 pound for a tiny steak

I went for some food, wasn’t having the best of the days, and Gemma my server was so lovely and attentive, made me feel better in a bad day. Thank you ❤️ Ps: lots of vegan options! However would be great they add a plant base milk option

Waited 10 minutes to be even noticed by the so called “host” when he finally came over he clearly had an attitude problem … he had 1 job to host and was unable to do that. I had 6 members of my family with me including young children, who were tired and hungry… so it didn’t help they were standing around in a cold door way waiting to be seated. The so called “host “ then said there are no tables available with a smirk on his face and the restaurant (dinner hall) was half empty! he was clearly doing this on purpose as he didn’t like the fact I said “we are celebrating getting a seat” when he asked “are we celebrating any special occasions today?” He then went to his computer screen and proceeded to lie to us that there were not seats and we had to come back in half an hr. He chose to battle with me instead of apologizing and making it up to potential customers. After his damn right lie about no tables being available.. I didn’t argue or try to make him look even more incompetent I Told him to forget it as my family and I didnt feel comfortable dining or spending our money there. In such a competitive market and location I could not believe this lads attitude - it was appalling and embarrassing. Even the children were in shock.

Went in today for lunch no heating on as it was broken not good enough wasn't going to stay and eat in the cold with my coat on

Went just before new year, reasonably quiet considering the time. Ordered a lot of food for 5 of us. Manager served us our food(wasn't our original waiter) then insulted me out the blue, judging size of me. I confirmed with girlfriend what was said just out of utter belief, i wasnt offended to be honest, i take it with a pinch of salt. Girlfriend complained to the original server who was shocked and apologised. The manager came over and apologised, said he never said it, he was from another country and don't even know them words. I said it was okay and then he went home. Another manager came over asked what went on and apologised, got us all around of drinks for free(4cocktails, and 2 beers) we all laughed about it and that manager could not apologise enough(Dave i believe his name was) after our meal which was enjoyable, very filling, the original server came round and asked ifnwe everything was okay and if we would like a dessert, we was gonna share desserts but then the server said after the earlier debacle she said all desserts are free so even better! Bill came to a good 210£ but then we got around a 40£ discount for the drinks and desserts. So after that experience yeah it started off quite bad but then ended up a great night Thank to the staff members who went above and beyond to resolve the incident

Worst food I've ever had in a so called restaurant, the food was unseasoned and cold, it is also very expensive for what it is. The staff was unnatentive, we had to ask 3 times for our drinks and they got served after the appetisers. The place is also very expensive for what it is, paid nearly £70 for two people and barely any food, it should be a shame to charge that much for cold, flavourless food. I don't recommend this place at all, it is disappointing as the overall aesthetic was quite nice.

First time I and 6 others visited TGI's and we were not impressed. I believe the heating was broke judging by the most recent reviews but was not told this during our visit, we all just thought thats how TGI's was. All of us kept our coats on for the entire stay, might aswel sat outside. Our server was not the most attentive and was running around like a headless chicken most of the night, dispite it not being very busy. Also the only place i've been to where servers don't have trays to bring drinks? First time i've seen a table of 7 having our drinks brought to us 2 at a time. We orderd from the menu and waited for our food. Our server came to us and asked if we had received our food yet which we found quite funny as the only thing on the table was drinks. Food came about 30-40mins after we orderd. Everyone orderd a mix of diffrent things and we all kinda picked a bit of everyones plate to try everything. General consensus was that the quaility did NOT match the price they were charging. I had the double stack burger and if it was not for the heaps on sauce they slaver all over it i don't think i could of finished it, very dry. Tasted almost Burger Kingy. We skipped desert as we didn't want to stay anylonger. Music was too loud. Wont be going again.

For what we had , was over priced for the quality of the food

Not good enough overall. The service was very slow, from taking our order it took over an hour to get our food. This was even with me asking 3 different members of staff how much longer the food would be and not getting an answer off them and even asking if we could just have the kids food. Once the food arrived, took from getting the first plate to the last about 15mins because they didn't get the order right. The kids meals got pots of beans and one piece of broccoli all in pots after the meal has been put down. The kids couldn't eat the chips because they had so much salt on them. I ordered the burger and came bearly warm and with stuffing that was to hard to eat amd mozzarella sticks with very little mozzarella. We arrived and the heating was broken but they did tell us before we were seated. Overall very disappointing and won't be returning or recommend going, try next door.

Steak and Frites was mediocre, nachos had water at the bottom from a watery salsa and had excess amounts of sour cream. Everything else was good. Would go for bottomless drinks.

Ribs were not available. Waitress didn't offer an alternative. Place was freezing as central heating system was broken. Veg Tacos were not tasty. Food generally average. Overall experience was not what we expected for a birthday celebration

Not much in terms of choices on the menu and food was in small portions, especially the salad. The service was poor in that we had to sit and wait a long time before our order was taken. Was not impressed.

Very disappointed. Over priced for two lots of chicken strips and sweet potato fries. My bill for a small lunch was £62. I paid £4.50 for a can of Dr Pepper! Service was OK but I won't be returning.

Overpriced, music to loud and extremely slow service. My “salad” was just a handful of red cabbage and my handful of chips were cold. My chicken was warm ish and the mozzarella dippers didn’t have much mozzarella inside and were also slightly over cooked. Won’t be eating her again for the price they charge!

Everything was just perfect specially the staff !! They were really helpful in guiding us through the menu and helping us in select best suited dish,, they have vast menu and needs to visit more than once ( as iam visiting this restaurant for the first time) 5 star for the vegan burger and Fridays grilled chicken burger !!

Second time here and been amazing both times.. our waitress Andrea was fabulous and made us feel very welcome and at home...food was great too so bonus 😀

The food in Fridays is amazing absolutely no complaints there at all, however my boyfriend ordered a chocolate milkshake (he normally has a lager but he was driving) The milkshake had merely a trace of chocolate in it (I don't like chocolate and I could only detect a trace) it was also so thin/watery it was like a glass of skimmed milk. Upon complaining to our server Gemma M she apologised and replaced it only for that one to be exactly the same, he was really so appalled he had to settle for a glass of coke (You can see by the photo how happy he was when it arrived - that lasted as long as it took to take his first and only sip) The restaurant is immaculate, no problem there. I think if it wasn't for our server Gemma M who was absolutely amazing, so friendly, helpful and understanding he would of simply walked out. We had to stop at McDonald's on the way home for a milkshake that actually contained chocolate and was thicker than skimmed milk. So disappointed that Fridays (which is not cheap) Actually let the side down by something as simple as not getting a milkshake right. Take a lesson from McDonalds at the very least please TGI'S. For the poorest milkshake ever I have only rated 3 stars. Very disappointed

Poor quality food for high prices. Do yourself a favour and go else where. Measly portion of ribs and fries for nearly £30, bland burgers, and the kids hotdogs were disgusting. Also it advertised free kids meals but you have to read the small print as it's for members only. That'll be my last visit to TGI. also it was half empty whilst next door restaurants were heaving, I should have read the warning signs.

It was our first time visiting your restaurant tonight and we was waited on by a lady named ellie B if I’m correct , blonde young girl with glasses. She is an absolute credit to your company, very pleasant and made us feel extremely welcome, always on hand to refill our bottomless drinks with a smile! We never usually email restaurants we go to, but on this occasion we feel we had to. Myself and my husband as business owners ourselves where blown away by her customer service.

The only person to acknowledge us and smile was a lady called Steph. The bar staff ignored everyone that walked in and only because of the lady called steph did a group of guys stay who were walking out as they were fed up waiting and being ignored. No staff interaction except between themselves at the end of the bar. Been to a few TGI and staff always happy friendly and welcoming..except this one at Speke. Thanks to steph.

We had a late booking at 20:45 so there was only our table of 12 and then about 3 tables of 2 elsewhere around the restaurant. We ordered almost as soon as we got there yet the food never came out of the kitchen until nearly 22:00 and they never brought my burger with everybody else's food. When we asked about it they explained that the chef had made the wrong burger and had to start again so it was nearly 22:20 before I got mine and it wasn't exactly worth the wait considering everybody else had nearly finished. My little boy got tomato pasta, chips and broccoli; the pasta was dry and stuck together, the chips were anaemic and the broccoli was just one floret served in pot you would normally expect them to put a dipping sauce. Most of our group were indifferent to the food, the kids enjoyed their milkshakes but we had to forgo dessert as we were scared it would take yet another hour to arrive. Some of the staff were friendly, others could barely give us the time of day and when we complained about the wait for my burger they removed the cost from the bill which we appreciated however when we came to pay the bill, which we wanted to split 3 ways, the server told us that they can't split the bill and we would need to work out for ourselves how much each payment would be. I can't see any of us returning as there are other restaurants nearby should we need to eat in the area again.

Good food service was a bit slow

I attended with my wife for an unplanned meal and drinks. We sat at the bar before our meal and got chatting to the young lady Georgia, she created brilliant quality drinks with perfect service. We hope she's able to spend time with her best friend she was telling us about, before she moves abroad. Would be well deserved after the excellent service that was delivered to us today!! Thank you Georgia!

Food was lovely, cocktails too. Charlotte was very friendly despite it being quite busy and her being the only server she made time for everyone. Drinks were a liytle slow but the barperson was seating people and helping in ither areas so there was a reason.

My favourite place in Speke…great food! Burger meals are amazing!!!…. Great service ❤️👍

I came in today with my grandad and was delivered an amazing and friendly service by Gemma. The food was really nice, with very good portion sizes. Gemma was really attentive and always made sure that our drinks where full, I would recommend!

Absolutely shocking! From start to finish. Don't know if they were short staffed, but this was truly awful. The actual seats and table were not clean, old food in seats, dirty glasses, cutlery etc. Took 40 mins to just be served drinks alone. The staff seemed to congregate around a table not being used, high fiving each other and looked completely disinterested in serving the customers. We were there for almost 2 hrs. Food came out seperately, had clearly been reheated and under heat lamps for some time. Whoever the manager is, needs to seriously get a grip of the place, it's an embarrassment! Only saving grace was our bill was scratched after we complained. But our time, and day was wasted and ruined by these absolute cowboys. Will never return here again!

Seated by a member of staff who put us in a quieter area as our kids have austism and dont like loud environments. Served by Ellie who was polite and friendly. We informed her of dietary requirements and the manager came over and personally went through the menu and did the specific order. One of the best for this

Went for a birthday dinner here on Saturday for the first time, we were served by Josh who was very friendly and gave good food and cocktail recommendations, staff here were very helpful all in all and we would definitely visit again!

Went on Thursday night, Food was great, staff were very friendly, atmosphere was very relaxed full of happy families. 👍

We came here Wednesday 23rd August - we were greeted and asked about allergies in the group which is great & we asked to be seated a quiet place as the music was a little bit too loud for our son who has ASD. We were sat near the back where it was a little quieter the server and manager came to our table went through the allergy list with us and the server entertained my children whilst taking orders. Food arrived piping hot the allergen dish was seperate and stick propped in to ensure it was given to the right child. Ellie was very attentive to our family throughout our time there. Food was lovely! Service was lovely! Thank you.

The staff here helped a sweaty, stressed, me out!! Baby was 50mins away from home screaming for his bottle and I'd no hot water for him. They helped and empathised. I must have looked like a mad woman as I was a little frantic with a worked up baby. And the bar manager had a good sing song which lightened the mood. Thanks guys.

Zero cross contamination level. Items mentioned as vegan and vegetarian on the menu are actually not vegan and vegetarian. They are being fried with the same oil as chicken and fish.

The food took a bit long but when it came we didn’t leave a thing on the plate, it was a Friday so I was willing to wait. Listen go try that chili chimichanga it was amazing, tasty and get a side of onion rings and maybe one of their Long Island ice teas. Delicious.

We went for lunch here and we were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. Our waitress, Gemma M, was excellent. She checked if there was any allergies she needed to know about and was very accommodating to my toddler! Thank you Gemma!

Waited by the entrance for ages, staff ignored us as we were waiting to be seated, totally ignorant. Ended up leaving and going to Nandos next door where the staff are nice and helpful

Disgusting!! The restaurant was filthy, tables not cleaned or cleared and rubbish and food all over the floor, seats tables. It was like sitting in a bin. Countless staff walking passed it not doing anything about it, it wasn't even busy. Spoke to the manager, who seriously needs some management training as his response to the complaint about the hygiene was just a shrug, he couldn't care less. My feeling was if its this dirty in the places customers can see, what is it like elsewhere. Never want to go back.

Took forever to get served. But food was wow!

Came in for some lunch on work break and was served by a nice girl called Luci, very friendly and helped a lot with deciding what to eat from the limited options for vegetarians. Great hospitality and would dine again

We were serviced by David, he was amazing to me and my friends. Very engaging, caring with our dietary requirements and always extremely helpful.

Can only describe as a horrendous experience, utter waste of money. We were sat next to a family with 2 young kids, obviously the family couldn't give a s*** about anybody else. We had the kids running up and down the seats, shouting and screaming and nobody did anything, staff never asked them to stop , so we were subjected to trying to eat with that going on. Basically we wasted money, no way would I ever go here again, and managers need to note, kids should be stopped running around, people are trying to eat and relax, not be subjected to this.

Visited today at tgi Fridays our server Chloe J was lovely and very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely visit again ☺️

we came on for a monday lunch and was greeted warmly and was served by Esther who was lovely and went above and beyond and was very helpful with our allergy!!

Food was great, atmosphere as expected but waitress was ok at first but too bossy at the end and more concerned over her review than doing her job and making us feel welcome. Tip...get the job right and I will automatically praise you and your service, I don't need 2 reminders.

Saturday tea at TGI’s, always a treat, food was great, it was a busy time but our server Tilly was a credit to you, friendly, efficient and always smiling. Lovely atmosphere and definitely returning with the family 👍

We arrived there around 8pm on a weekday. Only a few customers there but the service was extremely slow. We ordered a classic ribs, a chicken pasta and 3 drinks but it took 45 mins for our food to come. The food was terrible and the portion is very small. The ribs tastes like packaged ribs in grocery store, it was so dry and didnt look appealing. And the cajun chicken pasta looked like homemade meal and the taste was bland. Overall it is overpriced and the whole experience was disappointing. Total waste of time and money.

Decent food but massively overpriced, had to apply for a wonga loan after seeing the bill. Our waiter was great but service was ultimately slow and it wasn’t that busy. I recommend the JD sesame seed chicken and bubblegum Daiquiri. Would I come again? Meh. After a win at the bookies maybe.

My first time visiting TGI's in Speke, I usually go to the City centre one, but this one did not disappoint! Food and Drinks were fab as usual and we also need to give a special mention to our server Gemma! She was soo friendly and helpful, she really made our experience 10/10! Can't wait to return again :)

TGI Fridays is one of my all time favourite leading restaurant chains which offers a huge variety of food! I would recommend loaded fries and definitely JD seasmine chicken. Only slight nag is to bring back Cajun pasta that was my favourite meal on menu.

Popped in for some cocktails outside today, Gemma was my server she was absolutely amazing and had great service!! Would definitely come again

Just been today in TGI Fridays Liverpool Speke. Service just terrible. Not busy at all but staff just standing or sitting. Not even worse 1 star. Staff stands and talks, laugh near kitchen. I was standing next to table to pay for 30 min. Everyone saw me standing and not even bothered to come and ask. Never come back.

Loved the experience here, staff are very welcoming and energetic with the birthday celebrations, special thank you to Gemma M for the amazing service she gave.

Took a trip to TGIs yesterday (7/6/23) with the family. Ive never been before and was amazed with the food and service. We was served by the lovely Gemma who couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be returning.

Visited with my partner for food and drinks. Always been a fan, comfort food for the whole family with large portions for the price. Gemma was our server on this visit and couldn't do enough for us. Have to finish with a Thank God It's Friday (tomorrow)!

Went for food yesterday and it was lovely! The staff were super friendly, Gemma served us and she was so sweet and made us feel super welcome! The cocktails were amazing and went down a treat. Will 100% be back!!!

Server Gemma was warm and hospitable. Provided great service and added to the atmosphere. We ordered tex mex salad, fried shrimp and onion rings- servings were very large, enough for two. Food was good and hot, onion rings were a bit burnt but overall great experience. Will dine again.
