Five Guys Burgers & Fries in Liverpool

My order took over 20 minutes to prepare, and the food was absolutely disgusting. The team is severely understaffed, I watched the few employees and even the manager juggle multiple stations at once, yet they still refuse to hire extra help. Stop bleeding your customers dry with overprices and excuses. Fix your staffing levels now!! or shut the doors!! I will definitely escalate this further.

The food is very expensive for what you get. The bread was also soggy.

DON’T VISIT. Give it a 0 if I could, the place has seriously gone downhill food-wise and especially customer service wise! Visited last week on my lunch break and I had to complain that my burger was raw, the manager was super rude, dismissive and embarrassed me in front of tons of people. She said she couldn’t understand what I was saying first of all and then once I’d explained a second time she insisted my burger wasn’t raw and it was the ketchup on it that seeped through the meat… in a rush on my lunch break I had just left the situation but she’s lucky I didn’t have more time coz I’d have made more of a scene with the way she treated me 👍

Place was Filthy. Food on the floor and all over tables. Burger, chips and milkshake was £20. Skin on chips were dreadful, I ate one chip then binned them. Hamburger was like a 50p McDonald's cheap burger so I binned it. Stay well clear of this company.

Driver collected order on time but waited around the same spot for a further 20mins before setting off once I msgd him. Order inevitably was cold and milkshake melted

Not the best experience and I’m actually quite disappointed as I love a five guys normally. Walked in and the place was so cold we were shivering. Both doors were wide open and it was freezing inside. Everyone was sat down eating with all their coats on including ourselves. Waited 25 minutes for our order when there was about 2 other people. When it came the food went cold within about 5 minutes due to how cold the place was. I ordered a hamburger with lettuce, tomato and ketchup. Out came a cheese burger with bits of onion, mushroom and bacon all over the sides and in the wrapper. They were happy to swap it to my actual order (as I can’t eat that cheese) which was great. However the bun was so so dry, not like your typical five guys burger bun Not a fan at all especially when we paid £30 for 2 burgers, chips and 2 drinks. Will stick to the other five guys stores in future

Waited to long and food was freezing cold

The most disgusting food service and environment after spending almost £60 to feed 3 people should have gone to mcdonalds food was slow place was filthy bins over flowing food all over floor and tables not cleared. Burgers where greesy and tasteless fries absolutely vile and thrown in bag. Staff had no personality and looked miserable and unkept. Would quite happily have thrown the food back like it was thrown together. Would never recommend to anyone even if there was nowhere else open Fiveguys get a grip on your stores.

Cajun fries are savage with mayo dip 👌👌👌

Delivery time said 4:27 but driver was lost and i had to go and meet him on the street, finally hot my order at 4:47 and by then food was cold and chips were soggy. Just a waste and disappointing

Overrated dry bread and fried chips

I waited just over an hour for my food. And then when I arrived I’m missing my Coke - my chips are frozen cold and my milkshake is half full

Service can be slow at times and food does come out fresh most of the times but worth going if you want large portions and refreshing choices of beverages.

Order placed at 6:30 and arrived at 7:45. Food arrived cold. Absolutely ridiculous and want my money back

Out of the two in Liverpool this one is by far and above the best. The one in Liverpool one is terrible. Service is fine but the food is awful. I had a burger there and the bacon was burnt to within an inch of it's life and the burger was greasy and horrible. Went twice and it was the same both times. However the burger in the Queens Square one was 1000% nicer.

Wow 2 hour wow the bag arrived opened Cajun fries was absolutely covered in Cajun salt and overpowering spicy and vile and stone cold uneatable they was and the burger was saturated with sauces far to much on it terrible service 2 hour wait shocking food and massively overpriced and am disgusted the had came opened when it had a sticker on to keep it shut

Unfortunately items were missing and although we may get a refund im having to pay again for the delivery?? Expensive !

Food was delivered TWO AND A HALF hours after order placed, when expected delivery was 30-40 minutes after ordering.

Waited over 3 hours for cold ice cold food.

Amazing food will definitely be ordering again soon😋😋

One of the better FGs, friendly and polite staff, minimal ridiculous shouting, easy to get a seat and regularly cleaned

Ate here late last Saturday and the staff were tremendous. They made our burgers so tasty and gave us incredible portions. Not only was the food great but they were all so kind and helpful, thanks again to the staff that worked that night (Arran, Nina, Phoebe, Jack and Ben)!

Driver delivered to other people before me despite me paying £4 in delivery+service charges, food came cold.

Order was not received at all as stated on website tracker ? Have reordered and requested a refund

Absolutely terrible, missing item from order won’t let me refund, food was stone cold, restaurant said they would remake the order since it was taking just eat so long to send a driver, they did not remake it. Bun was soaking and soggy from sitting for so long, chips are cold and hard.

Very good food for the most part, the meat itself is ok but the fries portions didn't seem correct. Either way a decent place for burgers maybe a bit expensive though, pretty standard five guys

Ordered online, the food was 3 hours late, driver was rude, the food wasn’t just cold it was actually stale, called to mention these issues and couldn’t get though to them. Absolutely disgusting after spending £40.

Food nice, guy serving wasn't as good as I've had previously and there was a surprisingly long wait as hardly anyone in when we arrived. But that's minor stuff and the food is nice.

The whole point of connivence food is that it’s convenient. In the time it took for my food to arrive I could have got into town ordered it eaten it & got back home. The food was over seasoned & cold upon arrival. Abysmal!

My best Shake'n Fries experience yet. Absolutely fantastic service, the guys are chilled and just make the day happier. Thankyou for such a great service and care for your work. (The guys working post 10pm today :) )

The foods is a cut above other fast food joints, but the prices reflect that! It's the first time I've bought a regular fries to share and we've run out, whether that says more about our appetite or the portions sizes, I'll leave to you to decide

You pay the price, but compared to other burger joints, 5 Guys are streets ahead.

Most amazing staff ever, the receipt machine got stuck and our order took only a little bit longer but the staff were the nicest people and threw in some freebies for us. Most amazing experience in 5 guys.

Not quick. The place was dead - dozen people max, service (after paying) was unbelievably slow. I know it’s done fresh but they should warn you there’s a restaurant-length wait ahead of you ordering.

Haven’t tasted fresh food from a fast food outlet before. This place is excellent. The burger was very fresh (veggies and patty were good quality) and the staff were amazing too. Would totally come back here.

The place offers some good hot dogs and burgers. The service was excellent too. The only thing I find a bit amiss is the refillable sodas, which taste a bit watery.

Food and service was excellent, gave 4 stars as it was a little expensive. But it was in the centre of Liverpool so I should have expected that.

Sent the wrong burger for delivery! The chips were freezing and so full of salt! My partners burger didn’t have half of the toppings she ordered! They didn’t want to know and told me to contact just eat! Was passed around to different staff members on the phone. No apology, awful customer service, awful food, don’t bother going or ordering here. So many more pleasant and budget friendly burger restaurants around!

Incredible service from both Lesli & Manager Ryan. Both extremely professional & friendly, went above & beyond. Our milkshakes were perfect & by l both staff members made sure my daughter had the perfect milkshake ❤️ The place was absolutely immaculate & although it was almost closing time we never once felt rushed & the service was still perfect, thanks guys we will definitely be back 🫶🏼

Después de haber estado en Give Guys en Chester, muchas muchas veces y hasta ahora tener una gran comida cada vez que me temo que la tienda Liverpool demostró que pueden fallar elípticamente. Compré una gran porción de papas fritas y estaban como calientes y tan flojas que no podía sumergirlas en ketchup. Iré a Give Guys otra vez, pero no volveré a Liverpool. Habría dado uno de cada cinco, pero siempre se han merecido notas en el pasado, así que voy a ser fácil con ellos.

The snack came wrong with the UBER EATS receipt, the delivery man brought the food outside the bag next to him in the passenger seat, in other words, everything was wrong

Ryan, and I didn't get the other lads name. I feel bad about that. Fantastic hosts Fantastic food. Just chilled. And frankly walk away thinking alright alright alright. A good place to eat. Raise (compensation for time and hospitality) in order for the guy's. And ill frequent. Brilliant

Best burger and fries I've ever had. It's devilishly good. If I continue to crave their meal as much as I have over the last few months, I won't have any savings. I'm on the Internet hunting for Five Guys Discount Vouchers. It's that good. It's a lovely place to take the kids too.

Staff are always friendly, service is quick and food is great.

Came in for a milkshake on a hot day. 11/10 service - the friendliest man I've ever met working the till - & fast too! Vanilla milkshake was delicious!! Appreciated the massive dollop of whipped cream. Not busy, plenty of tables, big windows for watching the world walk by. Will return if I'm in the area 👍🏼

Didn't receive the chips i ordered and still got charged for them

I shamelessly enjoyed a solid burger as an American missing something familiar. I loved it.. maybe it was the desperation of not eating normally for 2 weeks, but either way it was great. Balanced and tasty. I have never been a fan of their fries but thats cool. Fast , friendly service. One of the guys working there is from TN... he is awesome. Definitely recommend

One of the worst food experiences I've had. First time trying it very disappointed had the beef hotdog bland and chewy not flavor at all and the chips where undercooked and bland definitely will be not trying five guy's again.

I ate there bacon and cheese burger. Very tasty burger. So much better than Burger King or Mcdonalt’s.

Normally have been a big fan of five guys but the last two times I’ve ordered a cheese burger the cheese has been disgusting and the burger dry to the point it’s like the cinnamon challenge all over again. Will most likely be taking a break from ordering as I have been disappointed or try other locations

Asked for a beefburger and got a BLT with the bacon insinerated.

Was ordering a legitimate meal, with friends, making friendly jokes, to be accused of being intoxicated. My first and last experience with Five Guys. Extremely disappointed!

Amazing place , always improving the service , now it’s very well managed much better than some time ago!

Waited 25 minutes for 2 burgers and fries. Had to go to counter to ask where my order was. She then gave it me straight away. Both the burgers were cola and the fries were cold and managed to be hard at the ends and soggy in the middle. Contacted customer services who basically told me I was a liar, and that my food was hot, apparently I was seen blowing on the burgers they were that hot!

I like the original chips and bottomless drink cup.. All flavours you can drink
