Got an awesome wowcher deal for this place, American afternoon tea with a cocktail each for two! And we certainly wasn’t disappointed, the food was so nice and cooked perfectly, we had Nachos, wings, chilli, chicken and beef sliders!

Compared to other Tribecas this restaurant is a very pleasant environment but, sadly food is below average in taste and presentation with no special sauce for the burgers as per menu and and service is take your order, deliver the food and drink and disappear until it is time for the bill. We will stick with other TriBeCa restaurants in Glasgow where the food is tasty and as per menu, with service during the meal so we do not have to beg for attention. Extremely disappointing, and a great disservice to the TriBeCa franchise. Want to the TriBeCa website to send a notification about the standard at this restaurant, but the website seemed to still be inaccessible. Was in on Friday for brunch and was exceptionally disappointed by the service. It wasn’t too busy, as a table of four we were seated easily with no wait. It took about 20 minutes to be asked if we wanted anything to drink. We ordered food and drinks. After which, it took a further 20 minutes to get the drinks that we had ordered, meaning 40 minutes had already passed. After another 20 minutes, our food finally arrive. It was nothing special. The nachos were completely burnt, and the BLT sandwich wasn’t great. The mac and cheese and the Brooklyn breakfast were good though, no complaints there. Not once did any of the waitresses or waiters come over to check our food or ask us if we wanted any more drinks. We had to go over to ask for the bill because we were not able to get anyone’s attention. The table of four next to us spent their whole brunch complaining to the staff too, they ordered before us and their food arrived a lot later than ours and two of their four meals were incorrect. If the service was improved it would have been a much better experience.

Would not recommend this place for brunch. Came here on Sunday noon and was received by the waiter and sat at the table. However, it took us ages to get the waiter's attention to actually place our order. I think they had some trouble with their tablet ordering system, but no one told us why there was such a delay. The restaurant advertises its gluten free meals such as pancakes, however the waiter did not have a glue about their gluten free offering. Ended up ordering the gluten free pancakes with some bacon. The pancakes were ok but bacon was soggy. Their freshly squeezed orange juice, however, was great and saved the meal.

My hubby and I ate here tonight on a Groupon deal. The first impression of the restaurant was poor as the seat my husband was given was covered in stains (he should have said and asked to be moved but didn't). He ordered a Sunset Park burger but was told that they had run out of lamb - at 5pm in the evening - seems strange. He opted for the Broadway instead which although tasted OK was poorly presented with just a few chips. I had the Clansman which was tasty enough once I managed to cut through and chew the very over cooked chicken. All in all not the best impression of a TriBeCa having been previously to the Giffnock and Dumbarton Road one. Doubt we will be back

Went here this morning with my daughter and my partner. After reading previous reviews I was slightly apprehensive but I need not have worried. We had about a 30 minute wait as they were so busy. A very friendly waitress (I think the manageress) explained this when we walked in. As soon as a table became free it was quickly cleared and we were seated. The menu had something for all. Our order was taken promptly and drinks arrived soon after. Despite every table being full our brunch didn’t take long at all to arrive. It was freshly cooked and delicious. I should probably mention too that the portions are huge! We ordered more tea after eating and that was promptly brought to us too. Several members of staff served us today and all, without exception, were friendly and polite. Visited last week for first time. We were looking for brunch, preferably with pancakes and checked online menu and this place seemed to fit the bill. Arrived at lunchtime, perhaps just over a third of tables occupied. Greeted by staff and promptly shown to table and given menus. Waited maybe a wee bit to long before our order was taken but not in any rush. Both ordered cooked breakfasts with pancakes, coke and tea. Food took a reasonable time to come, drinks served while we waited. Don’t really know what happened here, but food cold. Not lukewarm, just plain cold, as were plates. Summoned waiter who apologised and removed plates and he returned a few minutes later to say food being redone. When new plates did come, food was nice and hot and no complaints about quality, but how did these cold plates of food ever get out of kitchen in first place. We had both finished our drinks by time second plate of food arrived, I asked for more tea, still waiting on it. I did think that perhaps after first complaint of cold food care might have been offered replacement drinks free of charge but hey ho, won’t be back.

. . . . Seguros si volveremos

We had occasion to visit this place, having been told that the food was pretty good. The food was okay, not really any better or worse than the average Wetherspoons. We all had different burgers which were, well, okay. After being seated the drinks order was taken, then when the drinks were delivered the food order was taken and that was it. After finishing our meal we were left sitting there for 20 minutes with empty plates and empty drinks glasses. So I managed to call over one of the waitresses, who all seemed to be studiously ignoring our table and managed to get her to bring us a dessert menu over, after another 10 minute wait, we went to the till paid the bill and left.Very much doubt I'll waste any more time or money in there again.

Went here with a voucher deal for "specialty" burgers, fries and cocktails (which we substituted for soft drinks). Our server was very friendly, and the venue itself is very modern, fresh, clean and stylish, but I think more attention is needed on the food itself. We ordered two of the "specialty" burgers (..I feel "specialty" isn't a fair description...) which were edible, but quite poor. The buns were ok, the beef patties themselves were a little overdone (though edible), and the fillings as part of each individual burger were hard to locate. My own burger had dill pickle (I think one tiny sliver), American cheese and burger sauce (couldn't taste much cheese, only burger sauce to be honest), and a few onions (along with the standard tomato slice and baby gem lettuce). There was no garnish of salad on the plate, and the chips seemed a standard frozen variety which were just ok. Also when both plates arrived the garnish we were given of coleslaw in a ramekin - one looked ok, however the other was discoloured, not as full, and actually looked like it had came from someone's finished plate. Our server did apologise and replace this quickly however. Perhaps they excel at their brunch/pancake items on the menu though I won't be back to try I'm afraid. After looking forward to trying TriBeCa, I just feel disappointed.

Visited today with my family (4 adults, 4 children) and have never felt more unwelcome! We explained that we were looking for a table for 8 but as we had a newborn in a buggy and a toddler who would need a highchair, a table for 6 would be fine. Upon spotting the children, the member of staff was already on edge and told us it would be at least a 40 mInute wait. This is despite lots and lots of empty tables! I pointed out a table of 6 and he firmly told us "it wouldn't accommodate us". I asked if we could even sit across 2 tables (together obviously!) and this sent him into a panic, telling us it would take at least 15 minutes to "prepare the tables". We said that was fine. After the great table preparation debacle, we were then told that the first table was ready but that it could only seat 3 people so one adult and two children from our party went and sat down. Some time later, we were told the other table was ready and the member of staff tried to lead us to the complete opposite end of the restaurant! I looked at the acres of empty tables in front of us where we could all sit together and asked why couldn't we sit there instead? I was stunned when he replied "those are for our guests". Eh, so what does that make 8 paying customers?!The member of staff was hostile from the moment we entered the restaurant and the implication was clear - they didn't want us and our loud, snottery children, so they tried to make it as awkward as possible so we would leave. That's fine. We won't be back here or to any of the other Tribeca restaurants we've enjoyed going to in the past.

They did have nice personalities but could have easily have generated more income for the business by checking on table more often and suggesting more drinks or coffees. There was no fresh mint for the mojito and there were items on the mention available. We had a long wait for food to arrive and when it did the chips were quite cold as was my husbands burger. We were then in a hurry so didn't bother to mention this but no one came to table to ask if all ok. Presentation was nice. I might return but only when an offer available.

We've been to pretty much every breakfast place in Glasgow and this is our favourite!

Was in this afternoon for dinner with the family. Was tempted by the new protein pancakes but instead opted for the Varick Breakfast, straight away noticed a difference in sausages and bacon, what an amazing choice by management. Tasted a lot fresher and full of flavour and made the whole breakfast a lot better :)Staff and service were amazing as usualHighly recommended :D

I can't believe I went back here. The service is the worst ever. There was about 6 fellas working and they were all diabolical. Ages before they took a drinks order, ages to serve the food and just in general just ignoring customers. Other people seated beside me were also in disbelief. I only had a veggie fry which was fine but regardless of what the food was like I won't be back due to the rubbish service. Get your act together fools.

Just visited TriBeCa woodlands, however I left very disappointed. The venue itself looks great, fab decor, a nice atmosphere and the service was friendly and prompt. Ordered the Brooklyn breakfast and was very much looking forward to the pankcakes, when they arrived they were solid round the edges, this was not burnt solid you could tell they had been reheated (possibly many times) and they tasted very stale, I literally could not eat them and I'm not someone who likes to leave food. The bacon was ok but you could taste they were also reheated. I ordered scrambled eggs which were the best part of the breakfast. Based on the quality/freshness of the food I would not return, however if they were to improve this I would consider it as they have all the other elements to make this a fantastic place to go.

I took my family for dinner at TriBeCa Woodland as one of my lads fancied it. The restaurant is in a good location and is pleasantly presented. However the experience was really poor. Firstly, the service. The staff need a bit of a shake to be honest- TriBeCa is a smile-free and enthusiasm-free zone and lacks leadership. The servers made not one enquiry as to how good our food was, which may have actually been for the best, as it wasn't very good. Ironically, my Clansman burger was reasonable. My eldest lads chicken dish with poutaine side was a disaster. My wife and youngest lad had eggs florentine which they declared average, at best. Given the competition in Glasgow's West End, TriBeCa needs to get its act together or the doors will shut. For a summer's Saturday evening the place was quiet which, retrospectively, was not surprising. The menu suggested that our 'fresh' food would take 20-25 minutes. We all worried when it turned up in less than ten. We were in and out in 45 minutes and didn't get a smile from start to finish. On the basis of this performance, we won't give it a second chance. I like to think of myself as a fair assessor on TripAdvisor. I was planning 2 stars but the lack of 'goodbye' or any other acknowledgement on departure pushed it into 1 star territory. Not a good experience.

When we decided that we would go out as a family for a 'treat' meal out, we chose TriBeCa as our destination. As things turned out, however, it was to be anything but a treat. Upon arriving, the first thing I noticed was how quiet the place was for a Saturday evening at 6pm. Shortly after we were taken to our seat, a rather miserable-looking waiter came and took our food and drink orders. Unfortunately, the service across the whole experience was much like this: quite depressing, and without any enthusiasm. In the days of online reviews, there really is no excuse for this. We went straight to main courses- I myself ordered the 'Harlem Chicken and Waffle'. Described as "buttermilk fried chicken on a savoury waffle with vanilla butter and chilli maple syrup"; I was expecting crispy, moist and tender chicken and light, fluffy waffles. I also ordered the Poutine on the side... again expecting crispy chips with a thick, tasty gravy and topped with the pulled pork (or chilli) as advised on the menu. The first alarm bell started ringing in my head when, despite the 20-25 minute wait listed on the menu to allow for fresh cooking, our food arrived around 10 minutes after ordering.I'll risk stating the obvious here... but I would be EXTREMELY surprised if any of this food was cooked fresh to order. As soon as I saw my chicken, I could tell it was hugely over cooked simply from the colour. The costing was unseasoned, and the chicken itself had very little flavour and was extremely dry. I was also slightly disappointed to find that my 'chilli maple syrup' was just sweet chilli sauce mixed with maple syrup, and the 'vanilla butter' was nowhere to be seen... instead two, dry, fairly doughy waffles made with a sweet batter (the sugar crystals around the edges were a bit of a giveaway) were on my plate alongside a fairly sorry-looking pile of salad with a balsamic dressing that had no real place on the plate. Unfortunately my experience at TriBeCa was actually so poor that it motivated me to create this TripAdvisor account simply to try and dissuade others from trying this establishment. 1/5, 1/10, 1/100.

Wasn't sure about this place after reading reviews but we were both pleasantly surprised. We purchased a voucher for burgers and cocktails and found the booking experience simple as we were able to email our request and got a prompt reply. The place is near kelvin Grove Park and I'm sure many years ago it was the Doublet. We were greeted very quickly and shown to our table, we were kind of hidden in the back so couldn't really see much of what was going on around. Service was very friendly and there was a good choice of burgers to choose from. There wasn't many cocktails on offer and to be honest I didn't taste much alcohol in my drink. The food was very nice and the waiters were friendly and efficient although did ask for tap water but didn't get.The music was good and overall a pleasant experience although I would say the aumbience could have been better, lights lowered, candles on table.Would recommend and will return

We went for breakfast on Monday 8th May 2017 and I sat in blinding sunlight facing Park Road (blinds would be nice). We waited a long time, as per, to get served - always too long a wait in here but we knew that prior to going. We ordered coffees AND breakfast at the same time, as if you order them separately, wow, your wait becomes even longer to get your food.I ordered: 'Greenwich Avenue £8.50Toasted granary bread with emmental cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and two soft poached eggs, topped with our house pesto and micro herbs'Now, that reads perfectly for me, hence ordering, but on arrival, ONE slice of toasted bread, seemed a bit poor looking to me. The eggs were cooked to perfection but on the side was salad that comes ready made from a bag in a supermarket, AND it was tired. Adding some freshly chopped red, green and yellow peppers, with some red onion TO the tired salad DID add flavour but also made the salad itself look worse. The micro herbs? Hmm...too micro to notice and certainly did not make the pesto taste any differently. That is, IF they were there at all. Waiting staff should pick up on the salad even if someone in a kitchen decides to send it out. The coffees we ordered both came after a while and BOTH were wrong; we ordered decaffeinated. Now getting the coffee wrong IS a big deal, people choose decaffeinated for many reasons but they are THEIR reasons, and when adding the word decaffeinated in a sentence, it ought never to be missed. And when mistakes are made, the waiting staff should apologise and get the mistake corrected as quickly as possible, not stand and look at the coffee in a vacant manner. WE did not make the mistake, your peer did. YOU should apologise. My friend ordered: Bacon N’ Eggs £4.95Two rashers of bacon & free range scrambled eggs on a sourdough English muffin. He asked for toast on the side. He got toast on the side. He got toast on the side of a bowl like plate without anywhere to butter the toast - he had to ask for a plate to sit the toast on. Yes, this isn't fine dining but the menu changes every so often and the choices are good. But. And the but is big. Poor service, which, once again, is a top down problem, really lets this place down. We have been served many times by a Spanish girl and she is fab, and the last time we were there we were served by Hannah - Hannah is exceptional. I use specialised cutlery and Hannah is the first person to ever ask me if she could wash it for me. I don't know if either of the two girls work there now.People seem to think that anyone can be a waiter or a waitress, well, maybe, but not everyone is actually good at the job. Guests/clients/customers should all be treated well. This last batch of bad service has resulted in we will never be back. In total we were served by four different people, none of whom asked if we were happy with our food or drinks. Glasgow has many places selling food - this one is no longer on our list of choice.

I often visit TriBeCa as my boyfriend and I really enjoy the burgers however we were left very disappointed on our last visit. The customer service was very poor, waited 40 minutes for our meals and the onion rings were late and we had got half way through our meal before they were presented to us. The staff just didn't seem to care. The burger was not as good as usual and was so dry! Disappointed with this visit, will go to one of your other branches in future!

Enjoyed dinner with my Mum at Tribeca before a concert. The food was lovely (portion sizes are fab!) but was a little disappointed in the service. Although the restaurant was quiet, the service was slow. We had booked through 5pm to receive 30% off the bill but the waiter hadn't given us the discount and eventually went to the bar to resolve. Unfortunately I didn't get into this restaurant so not rating it on its food or table service. I went here because I had heard good things about it. People looked happy and the menu looked good but I waited in the doorway for too long. There were three couples in front of us and after 15 minutes no one had come by and said how long we would have to wait. In fact no one came to greet us at all. The couple in front hadn't been approached either before we arrived. Perhaps that's a good sign that it was busy- but it certainly wasn't a good impression and I decided to go elsewhere.

We popped in on a Monday late morning/lunchtime as several other cafes in the area were closed. Staff were pleasant but service was slow and staff seemed overwhelmed despite the place not being full. We then had a long wait for food - bacon & eggs and basically a full Scottish breakfast by another name. For the latter they brought the wrong eggs and the wrong type of bread (despite them being the ones who asked), the bacon was anaemic and overall the food was wholly unappetising. Very disappointing all round. We will not be back

Went here on Friday after buying a groupon voucher whilst out for another meal in the city centre. £11 for 2 specialty burgers and fries. The service was quick, although the waiter didn't look happy or inviting. The food took maybe 20 mins, and OMG were they good. My partner and I had the Harlem burger (me with no beef tomato). It was a steak patty, manchego cheese, chorizo, prosciutto ham and chimichurri and wow what a flavour.Definitely worth a visit, especially if you have said voucher. You only pay for your drinks while there so the bill came to £2.50. Cheapest lunch ever.Be warned, there is no car park, only on street parking. We parked outside the old schoolhouse pub and it cost us £1.20 for an hr. Well worth it.

Went for breakfast last Sunday. Had been previous Sunday and it was mobbed and had to wait 30 mins for table. The queuers were offered foc little milkshakes which was a nice touch. However understaffed and food arrived a little cold. Thought we would try earlier the following Sunday and got a seat straight away. Waitress took order for drinks but took forever to return for food order. I had ordered Wholemeal toast with my breakfast but was bought white. Took it away and returned with the wholemeal when I had long finished my breakfast. Asked for another orange juice but gave up and asked for bill instead. Waffles with maple syrup came without maple syrup had to get myself from bar (no great shakes). Altogether again took far too long, food was on the tepid side and I think this is because there are not enough staff on and it is not being collected promptly. When mentioned wasn't happy with it all Waitress cut me off mid sentence declaring rather rudely she would get the manager. Manager very nice and apologetic and reduced bill. The food throughout was really good but I don't think I'll be going again as the service is too annoying.

I wouldn't bother wasting your money on this place. My partner and I waited 45 minutes to be seated when there was a table available that could sit 4-6 people. I understand if they had a booking for that amount of people but what I don't understand was the comment made by the main waitress: "we may 4-6 people in and therefore we cannot seat you". "May" is not definite my friend. It wasn't just myself that complained about the matter, a couple behind us also raised the issue but the waitress couldn't care less.I asked to speak to a manager regarding the issue but apparently he was "busy" doing something else downstairs. When he did appear he didn't seem interested to find out who had wanted to speak to him. Clearly his customers aren't a priority! Disgraceful.Food was bland. Ordered sweet potato fries but were the more flavourless fries I have ever tasted. My partner emailed the manager to inform him of our experience but, as predicted, we didn't get a response.Don't waste your time here, there's plenty of other places in the west end that offer better customer service.Safe to say, we won't be back and will be letting our friends and family know about our rubbish experience at Tribeca on Park road.

We used a groupon deal recently which entitled us to a burger or hot dog and fries each. It took 1 hour and 5 minutes for an incredibly average hot dog and a burger. The staff were lackadaisical and didn't clear tables and seemed disinterested. Finally our bill arrived and the voucher which we provided at the start hadn't been applied. Very average food compared to other excellent burger restaurants in Glasgow - there is so much choice and Tribeca doesn't compete.

Ive been 3 times before and always loved it, but this visit wasnt that great sadly. We waitwd a while for mains only, then when tgey arrived my husband had to send his Harlem burger back due to it being cold, it reappeared 15 minutes later, while I ate mine alone. Not ideal when you want to have a meal togetger. When our bill cane, my voucher hadn't been applied, which also flagged they were under staffed/not able to manage all their tables. Had breakfast at TriBeCa today. I had the Varick Breakfast which was delicious and the French Toast was very good. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the staff are friendly and polite. My only negative comment would be that at £12.95 for the Varick, Brooklyn or Waffle Breakfast it's a bit pricey. Add on £4.50 for a milk shake and £2.50 for a coffee and you would need an MP's expense account to be able to afford breakfast on a regular basis. There are less expensive dishes on the extensive brunch menu. However if management want to make their customers feel as if they were getting a little more bang for their buck, they could consider offering Standard Coffee, Tea or Glass of Fruit juice included in the price of the big 3 breakfasts. Having said that I will return but may opt for one of the cheaper options next time.
