KFC in Glasgow City

Waiting time through delivery was absolutely horrid the driver for Just Eat was waiting at the restaurant for 50 God damn minutes! Food was bone cold food items were missing and each time we tried to call to get an update. We were told the driver had not arrived Each time. First time they told us they were absolutely swept off their feet busy but when I phoned there was hardly any background noise of machines going off or even people ordering food. It sounds to me that the staff are just bone idle and don’t care about their customers! THEY EVEN PUT THE TANGO CAN INSIDE THE BOX WITH THE FOOD AND TWO SIDES HE DID NOT ASK FOR!! Don’t bother opening your doors that service is absolutely disgusting coming from someone who worked the fast food industry as manager. This was appalling. DONT BOTHER GOING HERE unless you want bone cold food and cross contamination from your drinks being put into the box of food. (Can photo was after it was opened)

Everything was pretty much cold when it got here.Think that’s down to the delivery driver doing multiple drops before mine.Even though I tipped him he delivers my food cold and last.Cheers mate 👍

No fries, only two pieces of boneless chicken

Driver took over an hour to deliver it, food was freezing cold and couldn’t even eat it! Bag was bashed and food was everywhere there was clearly other food bags sitting ontop of it

Ordered the buffalo tower burger meal and when it came was frozen way nae burger a bag way2 wings and a can a juice and rub a beans what a waste a £15

A KFC that opens past 11 is a great idea especially when you don't want the bustle of going to a bar or restaurant on a late night. Had a good experience in here but left a few items of order why I'm not giving a 5 star.

the burger looked like a 4 year oldnslapped it together...nothing like the pictures and the chicken has been in the heat rack for so long it's rock hard and dripping with oil...the worst kfc I've ever had and I love kfc after this I doubt I'd ever chance having kfc again

27th August 2024, around 9pm. Really unpleasant experience. Staff looked as though they didn't care, food time itself was around 15 minutes when usually it is fast. Staff seemed abrupt and bored, when I asked for a tray to carry food to my table I was told no. Any justification? Of course not. Toilets were grim, urine on the seats making it unusable. The food itself was BLAND, never had tasteless chicken quite like that, I think they left out the 11 herbs and spices plus extra salt needed for that meat. Overall horrible will not return.

Visited on 13 August with other half and our 8YO son. While we got friendly service and shelter from several downpours, two main issues detracted from our experience. These probably need urgent attention to avoid unwanted attention from Glasgow City Council and KFC UK. First was the kitchen area whose floor was dirty, squalid and covered in black marks (white linoleum tiles appeared very grimy indeed). Having enjoyed two Mega Box deals and a Zinger meal, this really took the shine off really good food. Very surprised that the franchise owner has not yet invested some money in a privacy screen (like other branches visited). Unless rectified, eye-balling a dirty floor will put some customers for good. Terrible first impression does not cover it! Second was the upstairs gents toilet whose urine-drenched floor had cigarette ends and what appeared to be discarded alcohol bottles. Hygiene and safety issues aside, do you think that this in any way approaches acceptability in a family restaurant? I am not a prude but think that this would probably deter young children from using the bathroom by themselves. Any thoughts? One final point. While our server was friendly and really nice, she was left alone on the counter, and deserves a medal for dealing well with some really horrible customers during our visit (even when she missed one item from our order). In fact, she looked dead on her feet and needed some help from her unsupportive and seemingly-invisible colleagues. In short, while my son and I like KFC, the above factors mean that his mum won't want to return anytime soon. Going forward, we will probably get our gravy fix from other branches (Charlotte Square in Edinburgh) where cleanliness and a happy team matter more. Sorry!

food delivery time was excellent however the food on this occasion was subpar, burger aswell as popcorn chicken was of a rubber texture and near cold, piece of fillet chicken and chips were of of a better temperature however not what you would consider hot! .

The food is ok; however, the service is too bad, and they seem reluctant to provide ketchup sachets and don’t like us asking. In general, KFC has reduced offering these since they introduced their 50p dips. I was made to wait at the counter for ketchup, which never arrived. Place to avoid

The chicken was horrible I’m in hospital and spent 40 pound and the chicken was was skin hard and chicken tastes horrible i can’t easy this the taste is disgusting

Forgot my beans which is the main part so very annoyed about that:) also asked for unseasoned fries but guess what? Never got those either. I also paid for a dip and guess what again? Didn’t get it.

This kfc is an absolute joke every single time I order they forget multiple things and it’s typical that it’s the only kfc that’s open late.

Visited this KFC branch 19/07/24 and was reluctantly served by a female staff member who clearly did not want to be there. There was no acknowledgement or greeting as I stood at the counter waiting to be served and placed an order. The female staff member gave me the impression that she was carrying all of the world's woes and worries on her shoulders, and her shoulders alone!!! Anyway, customer service aside, I ordered my food to take away. The chicken wings were bone dry and had clearly been left of the warming rack for far too long or refried!! The chicken fillet in the burger was burnt and overcooked. The morsel portion of fries were cold and just about edible. The store was not busy, yet there was litter on the tables and the floor was sticky. The only saving grace for this branch was the pleasant lad who handed me my order with a smile.

Service is awful if you are paying cash. I stood for 10 minutes getting looked and and ignored by staff before deciding I would just leave. The setup to get orders is terrible and results in customers standing all round the service counter, making it confusing to know where to go. There was only 3 staff on at any time. Won't be returning as there is a Jolibee right next door which for obvious reasons is much busier.

Fries were cold, couldn’t finish them. Chicken was so dry it was just as well we’d got gravy and dips or we’d not have been able to swallow it. We only ate it without complaining as we’d been out for hours and needed something quick before heading back on the train. Popcorn chicken was alright but the drink and dip were the highlight of the meal! Grumpiest service I’ve ever had. Ordered from the screen but the server ignored the woman who was waiting to order as I was waiting to collect my meal. Barely said a word to me. Threw our daughter’s fruit across the counter when we went to ask for it after it had been forgotten the first time. Never again!

Tried to pan us off first of all with Diet Pepsi when order normal Pepsi no tango alternative and had to go with 7up when returned back to hotel discovered two small pots of gravy that looked like they had just been poured over the top with a boiled kettle muddy water inedible no beans with our order either came with a boneless bag thought this was meant to be a boneless bucket with a chicken with a bone in it chips undercooked half chicken burnt gave us tomato sauce instead of sweet chilli sauce wouldn’t return worse than the Aberdeen franchise thought better of the Glasgow kfc this visit but was proved wrong

If you only have two or three staff then the place will be filthy, tables uncleared, bin overflowing, toilets smelly and sticky underfoot. Food was okay but I have much better KFC's. Oh and get the front door fixed so that it doesn't bang shut.

The place looks dated when you go in, and apart from the ordering screens doesn't seem to have changed for years. Could be the staff from years ago as well, as they were all older people, unlike the young folks usually manning the counters. Also, the chicken wasn't very good - and as this is a chicken restaurant that's not great!

My order didn’t even show up, it says delivered 30 mins ago but my buzzer didn’t go and my door bell didn’t ring either. I waited up for this to be delivered and it never was. I’m not happy at all. I would like something to be done about this as soon as possible.

O ordered food worth 25 from kfc and i played the kfc rewards arcade and won 2 hot wings. The manager asked made me wait more than an hour and still didnt give that silly 2 hot wings.I walked away.His attitude was really bad and he was arrogant towards me. Really bad

Wrap we got only had one small peice of chicken more there was more wrap and not chicken chips were also so so soggy. My delivery sat for over an hour saying ‘preparing in restaurant’ I thought I’d better call the restaurant direct to see what was taking so long as it had said it would be ready and delivered within 30minutes, spoke to a girl who told me it was herself that made the order ages ago and the driver must have not scanned on the way out and stolen it!!! And sure enough I can see it now shows delivered when I did not receive my order very disappointed. Now trying to get my money back.

Place was a bit grubby, could really do with an upgrade, chips were scabby and the coating on the chicken was minimal to the point that there was no taste! On the bright side the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I came from Poland and I was very excited to hear about the Hilal KFC. Actually the food was pathetic and the quality was very poor . Food was already cooked but after placing the order they just fried twice . The chicken was soggy and low and the staff was very rude. Actually It was dumb of money . .

second time in one week missing items in my order

My go to was always KFC but certainly not after this one. The chicken pieces were so small. Fries were cold + gravy was like dirty water. Staff member looked in storage where they keep gravy + all containers were filled the same she even commented herself. Took fries back + gravy. Manager came out. Very nicely apologised + offered hot fries + since the gravy would be another 20mins !!!!!! so took coleslaw. I found everything highly salted or over seasoned. Not enjoyable at all. I understand prices have risen but what your getting is a joke. I actually didn't realise you could get chickens so small. Like a nugget with a bit of bone!!!

Worst KFC in 30 years. We thought we would nip in to this KFC before attending the Pavilion Theatre. We placed our order and sat at a table next to a window. The table was so dirty and was full of crumbs so we used some of our own wet wipes and cleaned it ourselves. After collecting our order we first tryed the chips which were absolutely freezing & we had to order fresh ones which were served under 1 min which we thought why didn't they just serve us the fresh ones in the first place. Then onto the chicken well what can we say about the chicken? We ordered 3 piece colonel meal, a bucket meal for one and 3 piece chicken strip meal. Small pieces of chicken which were luke warm and chicken was dry, the chicken strips were soggy and definitely weren't cooked long enough. We then ordered gravy for a bit of moisture to eat this chicken which we ordered, OMG sooo watery & you could actually see it separating in the small plastic tub yuk! Again we had to go back and ask for a fresh one where we were told we had to wait for 20 mins for fresh gravy, which we said we wouldn't have time to wait that long so we were offered beans or coleslaw which we took the coleslaw. We don't normally make a fuzz about anything but for what we paid which was just under £30 the quality of food given was very poor. Put us right of KFC for a long time.

Placed order to go. I Ordered a double zinger salad box, as on a low sugar and carbohydrate diet for health reasons. The man in the kitchen got the order wrong and made a rice box. When I told the girl behind the till I couldn't eat that as it'll raise my blood sugars too much, she apologised and told him I needed a salad box not a rice box. He said "it's fine just give it to her", she again said "but she can't eat the rice". He then said he would remake the order but he'll have to start all over again, to which I said that's fine I'll wait. The girl behind the till once again apologised and told me this happens frequently as he rushes the orders and gets them wrong. It wasn't busy in there I was the only customer, so there was no need for the rush. He then made the order I'd placed and told me "I've put extra sauce on for you it'll be more tasty" despite my not asking him to do this, and my heart sank knowing this would now be potentially even higher in sugar, and the whole point of me getting a salad in the first place was to attempt to control my blood sugar levels so I don't get sick. It was at this point i just lost the will and left. When I opened the box it was absolutely drenched in dressing to the point you couldn't see the salad and the chicken was barely visible. I then had to sit and scrape sauce from the zinger chicken piece by piece in order to eat it, and had to throw the salad away as it was completely inedible and swimming in sauce. Please could you inform this member of staff not to take artistic liberties with orders, and just give people what they actually ask for. Nearly £10 for something I had to scrape and bin. The bloke making the food was working the Monday evening shift, and I was served at approximately 7:45pm 15/4/2024 so you can pinpoint your member of staff. Perhaps a retrain could be considered.

I asked for mash in my meal but kfc sent gravy. No one eats gravy and the mash I had ordered for my baby. Unfortunately I couldn't feed my baby properly as kfc sent gravy instead of gravy. I am very dissapointed

The food was freezing as driver didn’t even have the food bag which keeps the food warmer, I know because I work in McDonald’s and we are not aloud to give driver food if he doesn’t have this bag, also missing popcorn chicken and chips from my order and the fillet on my burger was just batter n no chicken stinking, will never order from here again.

Well organised,when there was big queues.very small portions on orders,4-6 chips per portion.Toilets are absolutely disgusting,urine,waste , overflowing water everywhere.

They mixed up our orders and put the sides in the wrong boxes they also forgot the sauces I ordered with it. Not pleased with this, very unorganised.

Went for lunch with my 11 year old son. We both ordered same chicken burger and fries meal. Later that night and the whole of the next day we were floored with excruciating stomach pains. Sickness & toilet problems. Would have given zero stars is that was an option. Will not be back!! Chicken was undercooked and tasted like rubber.

Chicken was moist and tasty, but the signature fries were a little dry. They were also out of the sachets of barbecue sauce. At 40p, the tubs of barbecue sauce was an extravagance I avoided. Not quite the same, dunking the 'dry' fries into fresh air.
