Went here recently with my son.First time I've been in 8 years or something.Starters were fine.Large delay for the mains which were average to be fair (burger & fries) & (Frankies classic meatballs).We were there for nearly 90 mins.Too long for me when only having a quick bite with soft drinks for 2.Wouldn't rush back & there's far better value elsewhere.I can see why the business itself has been struggling

Gret meal went with my 2 daughters and partner. staff very friendly and pleasant. Meal was lovely had the garlic pizza bread for starter it was amazing .... highly recommended.

I visited with my mum before a concert. We were served by Ella who was so lovely and helpful and took the time to talk to us while serving us. The food was delicious and was served in perfect time. Will definitely be back!

Visited here for breakfast after a let down at a local hotel. The choice on the menu was brilliant with traditional breakfasts, sandwiches and my favourite eggs Benedict. Husband got a large breakfast which his only negative was that the bacon was a bit salty other than that it was all lovely. The waiter was very polite and gave excellent service. Restored my faith in the chain as last few visits (not at this restaurant as we were only in Scotland visiting family) were quite poor.

Booked into the Quay for my sisters 30th. 12 of us at the table and not one person had a complaint. Food and service was brilliant. Big shout out to our server Joe and also to Arlene for sorting a cake for the birthday girl! Would definitely recommend!

Took two grand kids to the Quay to see a film. After we had two hungry children and two hungry auld folks.Boy did this place have it for us all, and the ("wee-folk") Kids had pitza which they finished to the full, plus ice-cream us two had a wonderful meal. All done while the wee ones were kept happy.

First of all, service was great with the waiting staff! We had a really nice waiter. The food not good! Not fresh ingredients at all. I ordered chicken mushroom penne in a fresh creamy sauce! I got what I can only describe as condensed mushroom soup mixed through pasta with some chicken! It was tasteless, bland and certainly not fresh ingredients. I sent it back and replaced it with potato skins with bacon, cheese and chive! These things came out of a freezer! They were sent back also! If I was in a cheap place I could see why it was cheap, but I was not, Franky and Benny’s is not a cheap place! The waiter took both the pasta and potatoes off the bill and was very apologetic, as I said, service great as usual, but the food? No thanks!

We ate here with our daughter and grand-daughter and some friends when visiting Glasgow for the European Games. We all had an extremely enjoyable evening. Overall, the quality of the food was excellent, and the service very good, particularly as the restaurant was fully booked and they were turning people away. Our waiter was friendly, welcoming, communicative and attentive and provided us with an excellent level of service. The menu is extensive and the kid's menu must be one of the best of the main restaurant chains. Overall, prices for food and drinks are reasonable.

We got great service from a lovely Irish waiter. I had the lasagne and it was lovely, couple of glasses of very nice red wine. Dinner for two with drinks cost us £40. A thoroughly pleasant dinner experience.

Fui a este restaurante con mi familia la semana pasada, fuimos un lunes por la noche y no había mucha gente. He comido en otros restaurantes de esta cadena previamente, éste no se compara favorablemente. El plato de carbonara tuvimos le faltaba sabor y el tocino era simplemente trozos de grasa gomosos. Tuvimos, como anillos de arranque doughballs.After y cebolla como un plato de acompañamiento, y ambos eran poco hecha. Tuvimos que esperar en los aros de cebolla, ya que creo que ellos olvidaron, pero eran sin duda no vale la pena la espera. El camarero era horrible, llamando en nosotros todo el tiempo, y en un momento dado estaba gritando a través del restaurante, muy poco profesional. Si Él quería saber si la comida estaba bien debería haber acercaron nuestra mesa y nos preguntó en una voz normal. No regresaré y me doble si iré a cualquier otro restaurante de la cadena.

We popped in before the cinema using the meerkat 2 for 1. Food was nice but service was slow. The meerkat deal is very good value for money.

went to braehead restaurany today. £9.95 for macaroni and my friend got chicken and mushroom pasta. pre packed pre frozen garbage is all i can say. 1st bite was last bite disgusting. for that price i expect fresh. my friends wasnt any better. chicken was rubbery. could tell was microwaved. never again will i be back.

We hebben hier enkele malen ontbeten omdat het in de iBIS ontbijtzaal erg druk was. het ontbijt is gewoon erg goed met een zeer vriendelijke bediening, maar toen we na een drukke dag hier besloten te dineren was de kwaliteit beneden alle peil De steak die was besteld raw to half medium was gewoon well done teruggestuurd kreeg een andere maar weer done geen beste ervaring aangaaande diner

La primera vez que tener una comida aquí, el lugar no estaba muy lleno cuando llegamos por primera vez, recibió un gerente que nos enseñó una mesa.

Así que al llegar nos dijo - calefacción no funciona, es muy frío. En realidad no estuvo mal y el camarero era bastante agradable y hablador, pero la camarera nunca tomó su abrigo, apagado y parecía bastante desagradable sobre todo. Obviamente no se ocurrió como habían radiadores en ella podría haber gastado sin duda una chaqueta o un suéter. Pedimos el desayuno y era normal para esa cadena - agradable, pero nada especial. Sentí que un poco stinted jamón en los huevos benedict.

Went on Sunday night with my family and friend. Restaurant was busy enough. They had run out of the (cheaper) steak so with a bit of prompting and agreement from the manager we got the sirloin for the same price! Plenty of choice on the menu and good portion sizes. I like the childrens menu which has 2 portion sizes to choose from. Food was delicious but we waited for ages to get each course. When we finally left at 7.30, we were one of the last to leave!

Can’t fault this place. Excellent service and atmosphere. Ordered a couple of burgers which were fantastic and piping hot. Plenty of free parking outside.

A very good meal was had here. Great service and a really good portion of food. The restaurant was very busy but we were served quickly and efficiently. Would definitely go back.

Used to be a regular haunt for the family before the cinema but after our last visit we will try elsewhere. We have always been a fan of Frankie and Bennies despite it not being the cheapest of places, as the food and service was always good but sadly that is no longer the case. The servers looked completely disinterested and the manager was even worse (leading from the front in the worst of ways!) the food looked and tasted reheated. Simply not good enough for the price. Sorry but we won't be returning :(

Food in here is nothing more than average. It is also way over-priced. I had a breakfast here due to another local place no longer doing breakfasts. The portions were miserly and the bacon was frazzled. Toast was not provided unless you paid more money, which is also miserly as 2 slices of bread would cost them less than 10p. There are numerous other eateries within 200 yards that are much better value for money and serve better quality.food. 'Frankie and Benny's' is just another franchised name that brainwashes people into thinking it's good, frankly it's NOT. It's just average at best and far too expensive for what you get.One positive....the staff are at least efficient and pleasant.

Popped in for a quick meal before heading to the SSE Hydro on a Friday evening. Friendly service on arrival and when we were eating with a bit of banter thrown in.Standard menu with quick service after ordering which is why we went there - options to suit everyone and no concerns about only having a short time for food.

Went here couple of weekends ago as part of a 'schoolies' night out. Then we went 10 pin bowling and I came last! (separate review for that).Good food in an american diner sort of way. After dropping our oldest at a party and the youngest having a get together. Me and Mrs S. Decided on a quick bite and it was decided that instead of going through the usual starter, main first .... We went straight for Dessert . 1 each of the same and it was Delicious for once we came out of a Restaurant not feeling bloated but very Satisfied. Service was fast and staff friendly. First time in this particular one, but we liked it and will be back.

Took my son for breakfast this morning for a treat before the cinema. Staff member who served us was nice enough but food was disgusting. We both ordered pancakes which arrived looking sorry and like they had been reheated - my 5 year old even commented that they looked strange. They came with a solid chunk of butter that would never be ready to spread.Franky & Bennys has went hugely downhill over the years in my opinion after being a family favourite if ours, it's overpriced for well below average food and seems it can't compete within it's market these days. This was my 2nd visit back after a poor lunch experience & i now won't return to one of their restaurants again.

Went in as a group of 6 about 8 o'clock on a Thursday night, the place was pretty much empty, the waiter looked at us as though we had two heads...we were finally seated - the place was pretty empty, I wouldn't say a table of 6 would be hard to seat in a pretty much empty restaurant. We ordered from the 2 course set menu which was very reasonably priced and looked good. Everything was good until this point we had our starters, and then as it is an open kitchen we could see the chefs having a "disagreement" - there was nearly a full blown fist fight. With a lot of expletives being heard by diners. When our mains came out, we were very disappointed - we only had ordered burgers and pasta but somehow they messed this up. My husbands burger was burnt and was like chewing on bricks. My friends meat in their pasta was also charred and ruined the taste of the whole thing and another's burger bun was nearly charcoal. The manager did apologise and gave us a slight discount but we weren't overly impressed by the whole visit unfortunately.

Unlimited coffee and a good selection on the menu. Service was pleasant. The food was enjoyable as you would expect at a chain.

We frequently use F & Bs as they have great voucher deals and whilst we enjoy eating out, as senior citizens we watch the pennies. We find the staff to be so pleasant and the food first class. We try to get the table for two overlooking the Clyde and the view at night is great.

Tried to get a table for dinner the night before but because we hadn't booked and there was a show on at the hydro we couldn't get a table. My grandson was gutted!! Never had to book a table at frankie and bennys before in all the time we have gone.We took him for breakfast instead and he wasn't disappointed.Banana milkshake, sausage, bacon and hashbrowns with toast and butter for him. I had eggs benedict and my partner had the large breakfast.Good food and food service. Can't complain.

Was just in F&B at Springfield Quay for an early Christmas lunch with the girls from the office. The meal was lovely, but the highlight of the afternoon was Kirsty our waitress. So friendly and attentive. Couldn't have asked for more! Thanks Kirsty x

Faux Italian food served in faux surroundings served by faux interested staff meant a horrible night. Normally I aim to write a long and detailed insight into how I thought the service etc. was, but sadly on this occasion I just want to get this over with.I had pizza with some sort of dead thing on top, it may have been beef but given the lack of resemblance to items I have seen in a butchers dept or as my previous career as a chef, I am not so sure.So the end of my review in which I offer not the merest glimmer of redemption of this grievous gastronomic guide. All I can say save your money and go elsewhere. Dreadful meets appalling on a car-crash misery of titanic proportions, an ode to the benefits of staying in and saving your money.

Really fast service, very friendly staff but not too overbearing and left us to enjoy a few drinks at our table. When we asked for a taxi number they'd called it for us instead. Just lovely staff. Thank you :-)

We have always eaten at this restaurant and prefer it to other ones in Glasgow. Staff are very good generally especially one waitress who has worked there for around 12 years. She is very professional, efficient and has a good knowledge of customer service and standards. We tend to eat before 5pm as it offers good deals on meals. more recently, there has been some refurbishment but it is not that noticeable and the meal prices have gone up slightly in sync with this. Menus also have been modified but not a major overhaul as some of the favourites are still there -i have lost out though as my fave bbq ribs no longer available .I think there needs to be a rethink of F&B's generally as they are no middle of the road. Their prices don't always reflect what you are eating-can be a little pricey for basic fish and chips if not on the lunch menu-vast difference in price to main menu and you are getting the same. Kids enjoy the sweet shop idea but most parents would be concerned about dental decay as the sugar overload is huge!i wil still continue to go but less often .

Have reviewed this restaurant before and loved it... How times have changed.. Booked in for 2030hrs on a Saturday night.. Not overly busy.. But took an hour to receive our starters. Food was tepid an minimal.. Server was uninterested in rectifying problem.. Mains were over cooked lukewarm.. Won't be returning Sadly.. You need to get your customer service team involved.. An staff retrained.

A poor meal for the money. Burger and chips, hot dog and chips and a soft drink for £30! It wasn't even that tasty and most of it was burnt. I would have complained but it took so long to get served i really didn't want to wait for replacements to be cooked. I won't be frequenting this restaurant again.

25 minute wait for a table on a Monday night,restaurant not even full. Waiter really rushed would barely stop to take our order. Kept forgetting drinks. Service took far too long, took 30 minutes just to order anything then another 30 minutes to get a sorbet, Also really cold! No apologies. Won't be back.

Visited frankies last night and overall i wish i stayed in and got a dominos. I had the chicken penne romana. The chicken was dry and the pepperoni burnt, i asked for a fresh dish to be made and again the replacement meal was dry and tasteless. The only saving grace was the garlic dough balls and the cinnamon waffle crunch. As a disabled customer i found these things Easy access, clean disabled toilets and comfortable seating. Overall i would say on this visit i was very disappointed.

Una cucina così in Italia non durerebbe ma si sà all'estero la personalizzano. Locale bello, stile america anni 30 con foto e cartoline del periodo sia dell'italia che degli usa. Purtroppo anche di malavitosi italiani del tempo (solito italia mafia purtroppo). Ho preso una pizza e come detto è completamente rivisitata ma mangiabile. L'antipasto bruschette invece da evitare. Le pizze sono abbastanza care per i ns standard (10/11 pounds) e molto cara pure l'acqua! 1 litro a 4 pounds. Cmq tutto sufficiente se si è all'estero. Staff cortese e ampi parcheggi all'esterno. Bella anche la location sulla riva del fiume. Il ristorante durante la settimana chiude alle 22 !!

I love Frankie and Benny's and their large breakfast is to die for and it certainly didn't disappoint.I was stuffed by the time I left and it was great.The staff are always friendly and helpful and the restaraunt is very clean.They nver disappoint!

Walked in to Frankie and Benny's for an early dinner we all were starving and especially me , I was craving for good ribs and become me these were one of the best I have had in a long time the ribs came in with some salad and chips and not a single spot if oil in it really impressed. My partners ordered for chicken and bacon wrap and chicken burger both of them were highly satisfied with the quality of food and service not to forget very friendly and smiling .Brilliant food keep it up thank you we had a wonderful time.....

We were staying across the river and decided to stop off at Frankie's for a evening meal. The service was quick and polite. The food is what you expect if you like the brand. Fair price and a good feed for both wife and me. Worth a visit if looking for some diner style food and atmosphere.

Always busy so lots of folk like the food!I always feel that there is a production line through the back and that the portions are strictly vetted to a minimum standard..I have a hefty appetite so usually have to opt for side dishes like the spicy onion rings which are tasty but overpriced.I would rate this venue much higher if the musak and the general din was just a few notches lower, but I suppose the younger fraternity, many of whom looked like students like the activity?Service was reasonable although it did seem to take a long time for our particular waitress to bring the chicken and burgers which were clearly visible on the service counter for nearly ten minutes.

Visited here here with a friend for lunch. Weather was great so asked to be seated outside.They dont take orders outside and you must pay for food when ordering inside. Ordered food starters were ok not great and then main meals arrived. Main courses were cold and pasta sauce was bland.2 coruses and 2 soft drinks £25 could get better food and service else where for the price. Wont ve returning feel that frankie and bennys have down hill over the last few years.

Me and 3 of my friends went to have dinner together and it went totally wrong. Every starter came out cold and then they brought out 2 new ones and then asked if ed want our mains just now because they are on a timer... We said yes because 2 of us were finished and they brought out all 4. It messed up the table leaving us no room to enjoy our meals. The burgers we had came out Luke warm and were horrible. We never got asked for more drinks and to top it off had to sit for 30 mins or more waiting for our busy table to get cleared. Manager on shift was also blunt and rude.

My friends and I ate at this restaurant as it was close to the hotel where we were staying. We arrived at 5pm and were told we could order from the lunch menu as it was before 5.30pm when they stop serving lunch. They also had a two course deal on which looked reasonable. I asked if they had wheat free pasta as there were a lot of pasta dishes on the menu, however, I was given a special Gluten Free menu which did not have pasta on the menu but other dishes that were much more expensive. (It is not difficult or expensive to replace pasta with a wheat free variety). The food was ok but not wonderful and it was fairly cheap from the lunch menu, however, my friend ordered a lime with lemonade and was charged £2.75 for the lemonade + 75p for the lime making it £3.50 for about half a pint and therefore just about twice the price as a pint of beer!

The food was very poor. Chicken wings hard and overlooked. Chips were like rubber, had probably been sitting for a while and reheated? Steak was tough, pizza was bland. There was also an unpleasant smell in the restaurant, which made me want to leave but as my companion was hungry I was persuaded to stay. Will not go back as there are much better quality places to eat in Glasgow in the same (or cheaper) price range.

Went for lunch with family and friends for our daughter's birthday, restaurant was quiet as table booked for 12.15 on a Sunday. Waiter was full of fun, helpful and polite. Very good with the two small children in the party, volunteered to bring their food as soon as ready. Child's portion spaghetti bolognese was huge, loads of spaghetti, but not a huge amount of meat sauce, but that was fine for us as child only 3 and wasn't going to eat all of it anyway, but an older child might not have found it very appetizing. Almost all had starters, all very good - especially the calamari and courgette fritters. Came out slowly, the last person to be served was about 5 mins after the first, but no one minded. Was quite a gap between courses, so maybe not so good if you were in a hurry, but fortunately we weren't. Mains were good, again good portions, and what we liked was the more expensive 'traditional' meals, like the Lamb shank or Swordfish had lots of veg - unusual these days. Not the cheapest place to eat, with pasta and pizza around the £12 plus mark, but we all enjoyed. No one could manage dessert, but the waiter still brought our daughter a tiny portion of brownie and ice cream with a candle in, and played 'Congratulations' really loudly on the PA so everyone knew she was celebrating a birthday.

Lovely food and cocktails. Staff professional and helpful. Good size portions. Good choice of dishes.

We ordered starters that never arrived the main course arrived firstWhen we asked the waitress what happened to our starter she took the main course away then another waitress arrived to explain that the chefs order machine wasn't working right that was why we didn't get starters yet it received our main order ok My son and partner both ordered 4 cheese pizza when they arrived they both had red onion on them they tasted disgusting ( my son's words) when the waitress returned and asked what was wrong we told her she promptly called the manager to the kitchen she returned within a minute and presented us with the bill even although we never asked for it with a £6:32 discount we said that our son wanted a pudding she took his order and returned with it saying it was f o c they clearly know that something was wrong but we will never return as it was a special treat for our sonSo be aware if it's busy avoid this place

Don't even know where to start with this place, picked to go here as a few people had told me the food was good so went and it was the total opposite I got the chicken with bacon, corn on the cob and onion rings and chips which was served really fast and I thought that was great considering how busy it was but that was until I started eating, the place was so dark I could have been eating anything, the chicken was so dry like it had been sitting for hours, there was nothing to hold my corn on the cob with and when I asked I got told to eat it with my hands (I was dressed pretty fancy to go to a concert for the night) and the chips were the best part. My partner got the pizza which was the thinnest burnt pizza I have ever seen with hardly any topping and it was freezing cold as well. Definitely would not advice going here unless you want rude staff standing about doing nothing while it's busy, cold food, dark dreary place and to pay £25 for 4 drinks alone.

Worst service ever and very unfriendly waitresses . Steaks were worse than a shoe sole for chewing! Would not go again and would not recommend to anyone!!!

Went for dinner had an amazing experience thanks to our server therza beyond friendly couldn't do enough for us and made our whole night enjoyable, food was great and the atmosphere even better

A big thank you to Therza who made my daughter's 10th birthday special. There were 9 of us there and even though the restaurant was packed she still made time to make sure each and every one of us was taken care of.

Popped in after work for a wee treat. Wished we hadn't. Ordered the chicken and pulled pork. Could hardly find any pork. I am not a big eater but this portion was tiny. A small handful of chips and a bit of dried chicken. All this for 14.95! Maybe I have been spoiled at our local restaurant. This is the last time I will step inside a Frankie and Bennies. Certainly no value for money here. Pop over to Harvester for a better cheaper meal.

Lovely food had the veggie burger and the creamy cocktail but the waitress was annoying as was loud and wouldn't leave us to eat in peace. There is customer service and over the top customer service she was a lovely lady but tad annoying and lovely of her to bring me a birthday brownie with candles on. Couldn't fault the food.

Opportunities for full family dining are fewer now since #1 is at university. All the more reason to ensure that the quality is good when we DO get together! We visited F&Bs for dinner and cocktails during the 2014 Christmas break. What fun the four if us had choosing from the range of cocktails! Wonderfully presented and enjoyed why a classic NYC diner meal! We might even return this year for more!

Food was very good, but the best part of our meal was our server - Therza! Made us feel very welcome and kept us entertained all evening. Never got so attached to a server before haha. Would definitely come back! Love from 5 Maltese tourists :)

Popped in for an early dinner and took advantage of the Lunch Menu (served until 5pm).Decent food and great service from the staff. Also got my chips served in a bag and my burger on a plank of wood. Gave me a giggle. Whatever happened to dinner on a plate?Would go back.

I have two prevoius experiences of Frankie & Bennys - the first based in Purley Way, South London was always extremely good, even the staff were authentically Italian. The second in Morecambe is comparatively dreadful - overpriced and poorly-presented, lukewarm food served by staff that don't care.So it was with mixed feelings that I approached F&B on Springfield Quay - one of a few restaurants local to my hotel that evening. I was slightly disappointed that being a lone diner, I was parked by the maitre d' at a table that was clearly more convenient for them than was pleasant for me (they could have asked me where I would like to sit for instance). The food was OK, the lasagne was piping hot and the waiter did warn me not to touch the iron dish.Indeed, I was encouraged by this first experience to revisit later in the week, where the service was an improvement, I chose better food as well - the lower calorie red pizza bieing perfectly enjoyable. So thunbs up and well done.

Went to Frankie and Bennies this evening with my girlfriend as part of my birthday evening - had a great meal but the highlight of the meal was easily the excellent service of Therza, attentive and sociable, she was a delight from start to finish. Even going as far as to "surprise" me with a birthday sing song, much to my embarrassment! Definitely would recommend this restaurant to my friends based on her service alone. Great way to start off the evening.

Lovely garlic bread. Potato skins alright. Main course chicken and chorizo gnocchi and cabin chick melt. Both delicious Service pretty and and great

We went here for dinner and as usual were not disappointed. The food, as always, was simply Gorgeous! With the usual generous portioning and reasonable prices for what you are getting. The service was top notch as always, with a very welcoming and cheery host. Quick service with a smile was the icing on the cake so to speak. Can't wait to go back!!!

pleasant staff, good location on the river. Good hearty breakfast. Two full breakfasts with tea for less than £ 15.

Wow, what a great place this is... We went for breakfast and we were positively surprised! It is perfectly decorated and the staff is very, I mean VERY friendly, especially Kristy! She made us feel at home and she served us food that will occupy our minds for a looong long time.. We're definitely coming back!

Just had breakfast at this restaurant, ample portions, tasty food, good price, only problem was that some of the breakfast could of been warmer and as we were the first customers there was no real excuse for it

Was a bit concerned about coming here after reading reviews but my son wanted to come.Pleasantly surprised. 3 waitresses keeping an eye on us. Asking if everything ok. Pleasant and very helpful. Food was good and hot.Will visit again.

Frankie and bennies used to be one of my favourites and I'd go on a regular occasion, the last few times I've been it has got worse every time to the point where I'd not eat in this restaurant at all any more. The meat is dry every time there's no flavour other than SALT! I don't know if there is new chef's but I'd miss this place out, there are plenty of other restaurants round about.

Had a lovely pizza then waffle dessert here. Very nice.Staff excellent. Comfy seating in booths.good menu. Will definitely return.

Had 20min wait for table which was ok, spent most of that waiting to be served at the bar.Food was ok, but not the hottest. Had better at other F&Bs elsewhere.Service was good, although waitress took ages to return with our change and then couldn't remember how much change we were expecting back.Should have gone to Nando's which was almost next door.

Good service and price but food not that great it is hot but just bland over cooked and dry When there is an offer on it makes it better value but not somewhere you would go back too

This used to be our usual family restaurant after a trip to the cinema. We haven't been for a while but our youngest was keen to go back. Wish we had looked elsewhere!It was v busy so there was a wait - fair enough. Once we were seated things were slow but the waiter was clearly trying to do his best.The food was poor - bruschetta was clearly the garlic bread topped with a very heavy on the onion mixture, the pasta dish was bland ++ and the "steak salad" was a very very tough steak with a couple of spoonfuls of a ready mixed salad on the side. The garlic bread we ordered didn't turn up for ages after the mains appeared and the kids chicken burgers looked dry and pre cooked. Next time we'll be going somewhere else.

Had dinner here before going to SECC Hydro. They do 2 courses for £9.95 or 3 courses for £10.95 before 6.30pm.Food was excellent and service was quick and friendly. Even when it got busy our server was great and extremely helpful.Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in this area and will definately be back

There is not a great deal to say about F&B. My girlfriend and myself went in for breakfast during a recent visit. My girlfriend had pancakes with bacon and syrup and myself egg royal. Service was quick, the food good and we both left happy.As chain restaurants go I was impressed. I will certainly return next time I'm in Glasgow.

This place is a nightmare. This is the second time I've visited and felt I was interrupting something. I called a stripy shirted lady( I can only presume she was a manageress) and while she walked past our table announces' eh wait a wee minute ' It's like they all have amnesia. I'm from Glasgow and even I have difficulty understanding their unique whining responses. It feels like it might be English but it's difficult to tell.Steer clear if you are not planning a 40 minute wait for your starter.

It's a chain restaurant in an entertainment complex set outside the city centre.....so, basically, you get exactly that experience. The food was average, pre-prepared quasi-NY Italian fare. They had a two course set menu for £11 which seemed to represent decent value. The white wine was decent but warmish, the atmosphere was lively, but the best thing about the place was the staff. Every one of the staff members we interacted with was friendly, polite and professional, good on them ! I wasn't expecting much, and that just about sums up my experience...

Return to this restaurant every time I'm in Glasgow. Fantastic food,and friendly service. Best to book as gets really busy. Nice large tables, which is a bonus as some other restaurants expect you to eat off a micro table!

We visited Frankie and Bennie's for Easter lunch. The service was initially very good and attentive, but it declined rapidly. The food was mediocre and overpriced for the quality. Our server was given a break and no one took his place. One of our meals was poorly prepared and by the time we were attended to, it was too late to correct. We were very disappointed and will not go back to this restaurant when in Glasgow!!!!

Poor service, poor food, enough said, won't be back, shame because others I've been to have been decent.

Our waiter was really nice - nothing was a bother - breakfast was great & lovely coffee. Unlimited refills.
