Lovely spoons directly across from the Radisson Blu hotel. Very low noise on a Tuesday evening. Good steak.

We love Weatherspoon for value drinks...not many pubs in Glasgow come close to these prices. I drink real ale mostly and out of the Glasgow city centre pubs this Weatherspoon in my opinion have the best selection of real ale. We don't tend to eat much in here but breakfast and basic pub food is OK if you're hungry Out of the 4 Glasgow Central Weatherspoon this for me is the best for comfort cleanliness good service and great beer.

Do not like this bar to noisy and just not very nice.

Careful, spoons apparently has a chip shortage. Even for £12 a burger and chips plus drink should have more than 16 chips at a spoons. No extra cheese and gherkin as ordered and paid for...Driest burger ever, even with multiple sauces and under cooked chips.

We called in for food on our visit to Glasgow. There were 12 of us and food was served within 15 mins. Fab atmosphere and food was good too. Had a few cheeky drinks before leaving. Well worth the visit. Thank you.

Decent spoons on heart of Glasgow. Quick service plenty of choice and if you get fed up with this spoons there are 2 more within minutes away. You could do a spoons pub crawl. Very busy after work, be warned tables go fast.

massive wetherspoons to go into. it was great. right outside central station so it was the best place to have breakfast and then we went again for dinner.

I pressed the food stars by mistake but because I had to then give points I gave 3 as that's standard for all Wetherspoons Pubs. We had a pint which is always good value. Good size of a Pub and always seems to be busy enough without being over busy. My one gripe is that the young Lady who served us gave the impression that she'd rather be home in front of the TV rather than be at Work.I didn't expect her to smile but she seemed quite sulky.I gave 4 stars for service because we got served quite quickly so we'll give the young Lady the benefit of the doubt.

They have now added new dishes ib menu. Like ramen(vegan) warps (different option). I tried Ramen and was not disappointed for the price to taste ratio. In 7 pounds a bowl of ramen and drink is worth. Taste is definitely not like you have in other major asian restaurants but with that price was good. As always their cocktails were amazing 😍 (blue lagoon this time).

Met my wife here on our first date, so this location has been a firm favourite for a while now. They've recently had a refurb and made it look even nicer inside while the quality of food and drinks has stayed incredible. Highly recommend

We made this place our base to shelter from the rain whilst in Glasgow. The food was great, staff were friendly. Found a nice corner where myself and my child could sit and read for an hour or so.

I dined al fresco in the drizzle. Pudding, chips and peas and a pint of Stella for £8 Always decent value at a Spoons.

it is an amazong pub as all the JD Wetherspoon franchise but by being so near to the central station its too loud and busy to work from. But still would come back again

Brilliant location, opposite Glasgow central. Excellent pint of Guinness, always seems busy when I am there but not a long wait to get served. Great atmosphere. I have not tried the food so far but will and what I have seen looks of a good wetherspoon quality. As with all wetherspoon pubs I have visited the distance to the toilets helps you keep fit and lose some of the beer calories.

Great JDW. Lively and bustling atmosphere, amazingly efficient staff, solid food and quality ales. I had an Orkney pale and it was truly superb.

Always a pleasure to come to this Wetherspoons, the staff are very friendly, professional and polite, drinks are served really fast and they also offer table service via the app. Two sets of toilets in the building, smoking and non smoking sides of outside seating. Brilliant place to come to for a few drinks if you plan on waiting on your train which is literally next to the Glasgow central station, the atmosphere is fantastic also watching Glaswegians going about their business (that’s the most amusing aspect)

Always packed. Here you as a tourist come into contact with the locals. Food and drinks are good and inexpensive.

Not a fan of witherspoon but by far this is definitely different,staff ,service,food everything great and fab atmosphere 😀

Your basic spoons experience - it's had some work done recently, so nice and clean. Good food and drink at a decent price. Toilet accessibility is a nightmare though.

I’m doing a review of all the spoons I’ve went to so here’s the review. This rates top medium in my spoons escapades. The breakfast was absolutely lovely. The actual Wetherspoons was nice and large and all on one level however it was in town and in other city central spoons there have been either outdoors or near spoons outdoor seating and there was none. That is why this gets a high medium for spoons.

Best bang for the Buck... Frank.

My go to place in Glasgow. Great friendly staff, efficient service, especially if you order on the app. Good people watching, spacious and open. Comfortable seating. Food was great, chicken tikka a fav, with fair prices.

Very busy wetherspoons pub. No frills but ideal for a budget friendly meal and drinks with friends. Food isn't gourmet but tasty and promptly served. Everything can be ordered to your table through the app which is perfect when the place is so busy. Can be difficult to find a seat but have always managed after 5 minutes or so. Great value for money. Toilets are clean but in typical Wetherspoons fashion, they are in a different postcode. No music playing but still noisy.

Value for money food and drink in a central location in Glasgow.....not much to complain about here.

Good value pub for food and drinks with family

It was okay. Toilets not easily accessible for people with mobility issues, and they could have been cleaner. Food was okay, and staff were good.

I waited over 35min for my dinner on Wednesday at 4 pm. Never has this wait happened to me before in any witherspoons. I prompted staff who brought my cold dinner from the counter where it was left. I was late by this point, and took said burger out the door with me - abandoning the plate of chips. I refused their offer to wait for a freshly prepared meal- at least they offered and I'm thankful as I was going to order a not so portable salad.

Nice chilled place the food came out really fast and piping hot. Nothing to Dislike.

Out for a family meal and spent most of the time chasing our original order. After no chips showing up (and a debate) I was made to order new ones, to which I got my receipt and proved that I had payed for the sides all along, only to get bribed with a free dessert, if I wanted dessert I'd have ordered it! My only question is how many customers a day do they try this with? Convenient timing is what that was for most, but we'd have been better off in a McDonald's...

It wasn't the best breakfast i've had in wetherspoons. Still ate it though.

We were here on a cold, rainy day. The place was freezing! The food wasn't great. The jacket potato was really unpleasant and not warm. The fish was OK, but the portion was really small compared to other restaurants in the chain. The water was pleasant enough. The location is central and close to the station, which is good. I wouldn't be in a rush to go back.

Brief stay in Glasgow meant finding a Spoons and did it delivery. As usual a great location, near the Railway station, and the speed of service following our order ( burger and mixed grill) was the best yet. As usual friendly service, good food and great value. Nice atmosphere as mixture of locals and people on holiday.

Place can be really busy sometimes better to find a table and order through the app if your alone. Good Atmosphere and staff were really friendly. Usual food but quick service. Toilets as usual in weaherspoons a good hike from the bar. Toilets clean and kept maintained. It's a massive place with over 300 tables. Tables outside for smokers and handy if weather good, got lots of outside tables too. Enjoyed my time there and the meal. This place is handy for trains 🚂 as next to Glasgow Central station.

One of the best places to wine & dine in Glasgow, since it's refurbishment, the place is lovely and spacious but plenty of bar area to get served quickly.

Visited for breakfast. It's a Wetherspoons, so food and service were as you would expect. It seemed there were too few staff on, but they were friendly and courteous.

An average pub but with cheap food and drinks. I guess the self service nature of the restaurant does play a part in its average service by staff. Food quality was also average but they provide a free drink with most of the food you order.

Great place to grab a quick bite and drink. Very well priced drinks and food. Breakfast is probably the best meal here, good alternative to hotel breakfast with free refills on coffee. The cocktails are cheap and great stating plus a great selections of beers and spirits. Literally everything you could want.
