Brilliant food but staff were rude x and felt very uncomfortable too they had camera's inside the toilet looking right into the walls and roof watching people using the toilet that's a bit scared and a bit too far I don't mind the cameras they had outside of the toilets because if they something happened they will be seen on the cameras walking out so no need for cameras in the toilet watching people doing the toilet that's sick I'm don't going back it's put me off I wouldn't even go x

Unbearable on a Friday or Saturday evening with ‘kids’ dominating and in an especially ‘lively’ part of the city next to Central Station. Food was ok but our party had a breakfast at 9am Sunday morning when quiet. Bacon was stone-cold. Trad breakfast was served before porridge. Small things. Staff were friendly.

The staff is so nice, patient and fast serving. I mixed up the table number while placing and order and despite they being so busy, the staff was extremely helpful.

It was a bit too crowded, otherwise the food, drinks and service was very good.

One of the best wetherspoons in Glasgow, always a relaxed vibe, sometimes they have a few different IPA or whiskys from the other branches

I have never seen a group of staff so unhappy. The majority are under 25 and are going around with what we call 'a face like fizz'. Collectively, young people are happy people so for them to look and be so miserable to customers suggests something within the premises. That said, they do laugh and chat with their peers so maybe it's the customers 'en masse' who feel their discontent. I ordered a pint, no reply, "card or cash", I made a pleasant response, but absolutely nothing from this customer service employee. Absolutely embarrassing.

Quick service and handy for the train station

Stayed in Hotel next door and ate here frequently. Staff are super friendly and accomodating, great atmosphere and awesome food, my only thing is they nees to cut the pizza for folks when its ordered.

Good pub for meeting up before hitting the town

Popped in here between trains after a gig at the Hydro. Was relatively empty so good service and Blue Moon on draught so all was good for me.

Go here every time I'm in Glasgow.. Fast service great venue but gets very busy so it can be problematic finding tables sometimes.

Wotherspoons ...does exactly what it says on the tin....great layout...tons of nooks and crannies to sit in , and an extensive menu of not exactly cordon bleu quality , but the best value on the planet. Massive drinks list too , with real ales always available.

We love Weatherspoon for value drinks...not many pubs in Glasgow come close to these prices. I drink real ale mostly and out of the Glasgow city centre pubs this Weatherspoon in my opinion have the best selection of real ale. We don't tend to eat much in here but breakfast and basic pub food is OK if you're hungry Out of the 4 Glasgow Central Weatherspoon this for me is the best for comfort cleanliness good service and great beer.

We called in for food on our visit to Glasgow. There were 12 of us and food was served within 15 mins. Fab atmosphere and food was good too. Had a few cheeky drinks before leaving. Well worth the visit. Thank you.

Careful, spoons apparently has a chip shortage. Even for £12 a burger and chips plus drink should have more than 16 chips at a spoons. No extra cheese and gherkin as ordered and paid for...Driest burger ever, even with multiple sauces and under cooked chips.

Decent spoons on heart of Glasgow. Quick service plenty of choice and if you get fed up with this spoons there are 2 more within minutes away. You could do a spoons pub crawl. Very busy after work, be warned tables go fast.

massive wetherspoons to go into. it was great. right outside central station so it was the best place to have breakfast and then we went again for dinner.

The best spoons in Glasgow by far staff are very attentive to customers food good and hot just a great place for a drink and a bite to eat

I pressed the food stars by mistake but because I had to then give points I gave 3 as that's standard for all Wetherspoons Pubs. We had a pint which is always good value. Good size of a Pub and always seems to be busy enough without being over busy. My one gripe is that the young Lady who served us gave the impression that she'd rather be home in front of the TV rather than be at Work.I didn't expect her to smile but she seemed quite sulky.I gave 4 stars for service because we got served quite quickly so we'll give the young Lady the benefit of the doubt.

They have now added new dishes ib menu. Like ramen(vegan) warps (different option). I tried Ramen and was not disappointed for the price to taste ratio. In 7 pounds a bowl of ramen and drink is worth. Taste is definitely not like you have in other major asian restaurants but with that price was good. As always their cocktails were amazing 😍 (blue lagoon this time).

Met my wife here on our first date, so this location has been a firm favourite for a while now. They've recently had a refurb and made it look even nicer inside while the quality of food and drinks has stayed incredible. Highly recommend

We made this place our base to shelter from the rain whilst in Glasgow. The food was great, staff were friendly. Found a nice corner where myself and my child could sit and read for an hour or so.

I dined al fresco in the drizzle. Pudding, chips and peas and a pint of Stella for £8 Always decent value at a Spoons.

it is an amazong pub as all the JD Wetherspoon franchise but by being so near to the central station its too loud and busy to work from. But still would come back again

Brilliant location, opposite Glasgow central. Excellent pint of Guinness, always seems busy when I am there but not a long wait to get served. Great atmosphere. I have not tried the food so far but will and what I have seen looks of a good wetherspoon quality. As with all wetherspoon pubs I have visited the distance to the toilets helps you keep fit and lose some of the beer calories.

Great JDW. Lively and bustling atmosphere, amazingly efficient staff, solid food and quality ales. I had an Orkney pale and it was truly superb.

Always a pleasure to come to this Wetherspoons, the staff are very friendly, professional and polite, drinks are served really fast and they also offer table service via the app. Two sets of toilets in the building, smoking and non smoking sides of outside seating. Brilliant place to come to for a few drinks if you plan on waiting on your train which is literally next to the Glasgow central station, the atmosphere is fantastic also watching Glaswegians going about their business (that’s the most amusing aspect)

I’m doing a review of all the spoons I’ve went to so here’s the review. This rates top medium in my spoons escapades. The breakfast was absolutely lovely. The actual Wetherspoons was nice and large and all on one level however it was in town and in other city central spoons there have been either outdoors or near spoons outdoor seating and there was none. That is why this gets a high medium for spoons.
