The chef told me....They bought Spring rolls and Fish cake from Tesco frozen and cooked for customer ( it's only £1 per pack) . If the food wrap very tidy you must sure it's bought from cheap shop.

He personalmente nunca un pie en este lugar, pero para informar a los usuarios, yo estaba pasando por desde Cineworld ayer a las 5 de la tarde, las ventanas estaban sucias y el correo se amontonó dentro de la puerta. Parece que ha cerrado. Tal vez la apertura inminente de cinco chicos fue la última gota?

Originalmente optamos por un descarado probado y probados son extraordinarias, que está situado al lado del Tigre facturas pero la cola era tan larga, así que decidimos probar TB. El restaurante no estaba lleno en todo bar otras dos mesas ocupadas. La decoración es un poco deprimente, pero que se puede pasar por alto si la comida era decente. Normalmente soy bastante fácil ir con comida, vivo en alcohol inducida por los sábados por la noche kebabs de grasa. El menú ofrecía un puré reducido de comida asiática y de fusión mexicana, era absolutamente completamente asqueroso. Si intenta llevar a los propietarios se tendran en cuenta la atención prepárese para una batería de abuso. El "dueño" se vuelve muy defensiva estoy asumiendo que es su curso regular de servicio al cliente. Yo tenía una cruceros fluviales como ». soy un socio no invertir todo mi dinero en este restaurante a hablar a como eso. Yo soy un socio!! Un compañero!' todo me gritó en frente de las pocas diners que estaban allí, mientras su mano derecha hombre llamado 'Raj" se disculpó detrás de los propietarios pero luego scurried volver a él sólo para hablar de nosotros muy alto. También me dijeron que se cerraba, ten en cuenta que no eran de ninguna manera un grosero » abusivas o grupo. Mi sugerencia sería invertir en el servicio de atención al cliente. Para referirse a este establecimiento como un restaurante es una estimación sobrepasado bruto, están en camino por encima de la cabeza. Yo lo considero una Circle, confía en mí cuando digo que estoy siendo generoso. Si lo que quieres es su noche arruinó asegúrese de visitar este establecimiento. Ni mis amigos, familia o que nunca ponen un pie en tigre facturas otra vez.

Fuimos al restaurante preguntarme por qué era tan tranquilo en un sábado por la noche, sobre todo porque la cola para son extraordinarias al lado era enorme. Dejamos saber por qué.

Tuvimos una cena maravillosa el viernes pasado! Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar. Tengo que decir que es uno de los mejores restaurantes tailandeses y viveza en Birmingham, teníamos un grupo de 10 y el servicio fue excelente, la comida y la cena. Realmente nos cuidó Raj, pedí pad KEE tailandés de plato Mao , era realmente delicioso. Volveremos pronto!!

Vine aquí para el desayuno hoy con mi novio y unos amigos y nos saludaron inmediatamente con una cara amistosa. Mi jefe me dijo que iba a ser una espera de 30 minutos sin embargo podía dejar un nombre y ir y echar un vistazo por las tiendas mientras yo esperaba que estaba muy bien. Volví en media hora y para mi deleite la mesa estaba listo. Pedí un color durazno té helado, que estaba recién hecho y muy sabrosa. El ambiente en el restaurante estaba lleno pero no es agobiante, bastante agradable bullicio sobre el lugar. Para la comida que pedí desayuno de letras sin hongos que recomiendo mucho el desayuno era bueno y caliente y raciones eran suficientes para mí! El servicio era excelente sin esperar mucho rato y los precios muy razonables. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente y volveremos a probar el menú de la cena! Fabuloso

We ordered pad thai and yellow curry and it was excellent food 👌🏼 not sure why so many negative comments as this place felt cosy, friendly staff and amazing food. I will definitely recommend this place and will visit soon...

Error masivo elegir este lugar. Visitamos ayer por la tarde, cenamos solos. pan tostado plato - ordenados de gambas, que era simplemente miga de pan en grasa. La avenida principal de Nueva York no era tomar solomillo - posible el peor poco freír carne. Me he alimentado mejor carne a mi perro. Muy caro para la calidad de la comida 30 libras por una cena para 1 un entrante, un plato principal y una bebida. Pero el servicio chocante y desvencijada interior es casi cómico. Mientras yo estaba allí, otro cliente se quejaron de su curry siendo demasiado calor como ella había pedido suave. El camarero nos dijo que la parte de arriba del chef y comenzaron a hablar muy alto sobre el cliente abajo - todo el mundo podía ella ellos hablando irrespetuosamente el cliente. La pareja la izquierda con pagar y con toda la razón. Otra observación - una camarera era poner platos sobre una mesa y el camarero principal le dije a ella porque en esa mesa en particular un foco brilla en los platos, así que puedes ver polvo en el plato.

Acabamos de volver de la PEOR comida en mi vida. Esperamos más de una hora para la comida, con sólo dos mesas antes que nosotros. Le pedí para comidas y aperitivos que trajo juntos, todo vino por separado, hasta veinte minutos aparte. Uno de los platos era incomible, demasiado Ginger! Pedí hablar con el gerente, y le ofreció un descuento £23 y la posibilidad de intercambiar el mal plato. Vinieron a pagar la factura más tarde y el director se negó a darnos el descuento! Él entonces encerró en el restaurante, nos fuimos en un extraño amargada insultado. Tuvimos que esperar por la policía para resolver la cuestión (lo que pasó con el cliente siempre tiene la razón? ), por la que pagamos el precio acordado. No volveré aquí y le digo a todos que desastre este restaurante es. Ir a Nando's! No buscar ellos por encarcelamiento falso, lo consideramos una propina.

Terrible place. Horrible burgers, horrible presentation, watery coleslaw, took ages to get our order, everything seemed to be cooked from frozen. Calamari was not even proper squid - it looked, tasted and felt like substitute squid that you can get from a can/tin. Batter was thick and tasteless. Garlic mayonnaise had no garlic in it.Absolutely disgusting food. Avoid at all cost!

We visited the restaurant while staying at the hotel on Broad Street. It was very quiet in comparison to Nandos next door which was heaving. We were the only people there to begin with. My partner and I have ordered Thai food - different stir fries with egg fried rice, they were alright but not quite what we're used to as we eat Thai food a lot. My chicken was tasty but the sauce was quite salty, not too bad though.The service could have been a bit more lively to attract more customers.

We were the only people in the restaurant which was not decorated at all!! No crackers nothing! Service was slow but then there seemed to be only one member of staff and he seemed to stop to eat a lot. Food was ok although a rare steak was delivered medium well. The thai option was overly spicy with some undescribable meat which left my friend not feeling well. An ok option if nandos next door is too busy!!

It was a party of about 14, I went to support my nieces 30th birthday. We booked for 6.30 it took another hour before our orders where taken (and we was the only party in the restaurant at the time!) whilst we was waiting we had a bowl of spicey popadums these where taken away suppose ably to make room for our meal another hour later the food arrived. Two In the party was not happy with there meal, voiced it was more or less told to but up and accept it. There was no children's menu, ordered and split meals for the children, who did not eat it! Then when it came to the bill the manager who is in the photo above, refused to take off the two meals, my nieces approached and to talk amicable to him while I watched his body language was very dismissive there was not load talking, but found out after that he refused to give his full name only addressed himself as Al and stated that they where abusive and threaten them with the police. I found the service shoddy and very unprofessional would never recommend it they have no right to be open.

Was alone here with my partner, no other customers. Had a great meal and long chat with the owner Al. As usual, the meals are served with sides not mentioned in the menu. Highly recommend for an evening meal out. :)

Went last night with 3 others. There were maybe 10 people in the whole restaurant with 4 waiting staff. We waited 15 minutes for drinks. We ordered a main which then came 45 minutes later. The salad was just 1/2 a tomato and 3 leaves lettuce and some fried duck - this was sold as a stir fry. Overheard another couple complaining about the food and the manager decided to call the police. That's when we left. Avoid, avoid avoid!.

After reading all the reviews I was very sceptical about booking this restaurant, but I am so glad that I did! I booked this meal for my daughters 18th birthday for a family meal for 30 people. The Manager was very helpful and pleasant and made our experience very enjoyable. Considering how many were in our party, the food was fresh, we did not have to wait long, it was presented well, good size portions and tasted really nice; no one had a complaint from our party, which is shocking as I am an extremely fussy eater and our party consisted of varied dietary needs and people aged between 3 and 80 years old. The restaurant settings and facilities was vey clean and the tables were arranged to suit our needs. Full credit to the manager and his team for dealing with my crazy lot and many thanks for making my daughters 18th birthday amazing. We would definitely go back :-)

Very dissapointed food was awfull never had a piece of steak so bad ever,sirloin steak no chance more like cheap frying steak,tough as old boots,the food was deffo miss interpreted and false advertised for sure!!!!!!!

9 of us visited for the first time. Expecting good food. We ordered sirloin steak from menu but came out cold plus frying steak. Never seen a sirloin like that in my life. Wouldn't set foot in there again. The staff said they would change there meat supplier. The best thing to do is shut the place. It said on the board outside under new mangement. if your thinking of going there i wouldn't bother.

Well visited today but was not impressed. Ordered a sirloin steak and got frying steak and it all came out cold, when I said about the prawns the waiter was going to REHEAT them I couldn't believe it so it all went back was not happy at all .

Very disappointed. I ordered a sirloin steak. And i was given frying steak. Cold. Tough. And very fatty. I definatly wont be going back. It was awfull.

Service was good food was mediocre but was abit pricey considering there are better place in the area not saying all is bad but wont be going back anytime soon.

Waited 20 minutes to be served, another 30 for starters and over an hour for mains. All were warm at best. The food was waiting on the pass and the servers never offered another drink or checked on us. They even ran out of most drinks on a Saturday evening.

Waiters seemed like they didn't know what they was doing, my girlfriend's steak was rubbery, my Thai curry was watery and lacked any flavour.New owners or not, this place was awful!

I came in for a friends birthday and at first we were all seated in a friendly manner which was great. Took a while to get our drinks orders but there was a couple of large tables near by so we assumed they were just a bit busy. Took about 30 mins between ordering drinks to having our order taken for just starters! I then noticed that no tables around us had had any food not even the big one. The starters came out and although I didn't have one a few of my party mentioned that their's were slightly cold. It took another hour after the starters for our mains to come out!! The big table by us had the same level of service and had already complained and were given complementary drinks. By the time the mains came out we were all starving but the food was not at all worth the price. My boyfriend had a burger priced at £12 and it was served with a salad similar to one I had in a local cafe, as well as the burger consisting of a tiny pate and what looked like a child's bun from a supermarket. When we paid the bill we mentioned that the service had been incredibly slow but didn't push them as we all come from a catering backgrounds and understand that sometimes that's just how it is when busy or under new management , but all we got was a half assed apology about the service as we walked out and no kind of goodwill gesture like a few drinks knocked off the order. Would not recommend to anyone nor would I go back again, so badly run. They need to step up their game and either hire more kitchen and waiting staff of hire a chef who can deal with more than one tables food order at a time.

Went in today and I was greeted by new friendly staff. The food was lovely, I had the Thai Green Chicken curry ...... amazing. This place is under new management and highly reccomend a visit.

We go Tigerbills everytime we visit Torquay and that Tigerbills is simply superb! We were staying over in Birmingham city centre on a busy bank holiday Sunday night (even though the restaurant was not very busy) and decided to go Tigerbills, we walked in a had a warm greeting, we were sat in a nice area of the restaurant and then the menu was delivered to our table. I glaced at the front page and was horrified to see "Halal" sticker on the it! I immediately asked if all the meat was Halal, of which the response was yes it is.......i explained i did not do Halal meat (i never explain why as i did not want to offend), the reply was "there are other dishes you can have", i replied "vegetarian ones?" a nod followed by "yes, we cater for all here" was the reply. I could not be bothered to point the obvious out and just told them i wanted meat, so we would be leaving! I will now point out the problem with your statement should i.........YOU DO NOT CATER FOR ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some people want to eat meat that is not produced for a certain religious group and some people consider the process as wrong etc! Catering for all would be to offer non halal meat aswell as halal meat!! I will email Tigerbills to see if serving halal meat only is what is now occurring in all their restaurants, if so i will not visit the Torquay one ever again either!

Myself and my boyfriend went to this restaurant very much looking forward to it - we were very disappointed. After being seated we had to wait over 30 minutes to be offered drinks and then a further wait to order our food! When the mixed started arrived needless to say we were not happy! Poor food and presentation - ribs tasted like they were cooked from frozen from Iceland!!!!! Not happy. When the mains arrived, my dish was not nice - so much so I couldn't eat it. My boyfriends was too hot and spicy and not good! We had to ask for more drinks to help wash the taste down! The new manager was very apologetic but this is not acceptable service or food!!! We won't be returning. Much nicer places to go. Sorry but you need to up your game!

Staff unfortunately clueless and not familiar with their own menu. Long delay before food arrived. Food arrived cold and incomplete. Had to remind staff of what was included in the menu - for example missing fries from BBQ ribs. How can you serve BBQ ribs on its own? Fries later arrived but by then dissatisfied with overall service and cold food. Staff explain there is new management - suspect new staff and new chef. Food and service need improving. Would not return or recommend until significant improvement.

We went on a quiet Monday night. Service was good. Nice relaxing, clean restaurant. Food was hot and lovely - paid less than £50 for 2 people, 2 courses and drinksNew management team took over end of July, very eager to please customers. Possibly recent bad reviews due to old team leaving. Will go back. Thanks.

Food was absolutely disappointing. Food arrived cold. Chicken was dry. BBQ ribs were horrendous, hubby only forced it because he was that hungry. I had asked for sweet potato fries as i had had a conversation with the waiter about me not liking normal fries but when the plate arrived Oh Hello Normal Fries! I had hardly touched the food on my plate it was that inedible. We had been here a year ago and the food was brilliant that we couldn't wait to come back but coming back to this was a complete let down. Should have gone to nandos next door

Went here for the wifes birthday specifically for the beef ribs. Tried to book in advance but couldnt as they werent open even tho website says they are. Turned up about 1815 and were only people in there. Now staff were pretty nice but to be honest clueless. Need better training. Most were new staff. Where do I start... we were told there were no ribs at all. Which took out half the menu so we then had to take some time to choose a meal. So we tried to have drinks first. To be told there was no Pepsi. There was diet pepsi but 2 of our group cant drink diet due to artificial sugars. To be honest we ahould have left at this point.We had starters to be told there was no beef skewers or full parts of combo starters.It took 45 mins for our starters to arrive. To be honest it looked liked they shopped at Iceland but that would be insulting to Iceland. Starters were dissappointing.Mains were a joke. Again we were here cos of the beef ribs. Again 2 of our group are allergic to pork. the ribs were the whole reason of being here. No ribs so we had mediocre meals which we could have had a helluva better and cheaper elsewhere. One of the group ordered steak blue and it arrived medium done. We ordered mains courses at 1850 we were still waiting on one of the mains at 2100 and only got it as we were walking out. It was Phad Thai. A dish which is easy to prepare and cook. It was disgusting! We had it to go. Now in our family we love Thai food. We have been eating and cooking thai food for 20 plus years. This was at best a really bad stew. Everything was overcooked mushy and yucky and grey. I believe it was microwaved.This is one of the worst places to eat I have ever been to and ive been in some bad places in my life. I also worked as a professional chef and I would be ashamed to put out food at this standard. Do yourself a favour go to Burger king.

Tiger Bills offers a very friendly and quick service, on the other hand the food taste has not been consistent on my trips to Tiger Bills. The food can be amazing one visit and bland the next, that's the only thing for me that really lets it down. The menu can seem a bit pricey too especially since I can't be sure whether or not it will taste good that day.

I went here on Saturday night about 7pm and it was nearly empty. This was my 1st overnight visit to Birmingham so knew nothing about the restaurant. We were informed that there was no chicken (even though over 50% of the menu contained chicken). My friend and I both ordered steak with jack Daniels sauce, after over 30mins of waiting we were then informed they had no jack Daniels sauce! If we hadn't booked tickets for the cinema I would of walked out there and then, but we were getting pushed for time. I ordered my steak medium but when it arrived it was like a brick. It was replaced, by then we had been there over an hour. After numerous complaints the manager was called who I must say was a horrible arrogant woman. I understand this place is under new management, maybe that should happen again, sooner rather than later.

Had a meal here today, walked in and was the only ones there. No draft lager as they had ran out....this was at 5pm! Ordered Thai starter to be told no spring rolls but could have prawn toast which we said was okay. 5 mins later waiter came back and said there was no chicken satay either so substituted with calamari.....not exactly a Thai starter. Meat was so tough unable to cut as no steak knife given and it was very fatty. I had an ultimate burger which was okay but tasted a bit like off meat. Hubby had half rack of ribs which came what only could express as half a cow on a plate! Very tough for ribs! When waitress asked if meals were okay my husband mentioned how tough the ribs were to which the waitress replied 'tell me about it'. We weren't asked if we wanted any more drinks even though we finished our first drinks before our main had come. Wont be returning. It was like a restaurant that was shutting down!

I had gone to Tiger Bills recently with a group of friends for lunch. We had booked a table for a party of 15, which meant the restaurant had plenty of notice to make sure they could cater for us. However this was not the case. Upon arrival, we were the only group in the restaurant and there was one lady there to welcome us. She spoke to us in a very patronising tone, and explained the menu as if we were children. She took our order of drinks, which she got wrong. I had specifically told her I had wanted a non alcoholic cocktail, referring to it as "virgin" as on the menu, to which she asked me if that was "with or without alcohol" which I found shocking. We had to then wait way too long for our food, close to 2 hours between starter and main. When we got our main, most were appalled with what they received: burnt burgers, cold food; many of us sent our food back. The low level of service was especially surprising because of the fact we had pre booked and were the only ones in the restaurant bar one other couple.The restaurant really need to work on their ability to cater for large groups and their customer service.

Book this restaurant on recommendation. Well what can I say, I won't be going back for the following reasons 1. We waited over 15 minutes after our drink orders were for our drinks to arrive only to be served 2 pints of flat draft Tiger lager. When I requested them to be changed I was told that the those were the last 2 pints in the keg and there is no more barrels available of the only draft beer that they serve. Now I have worked in the licensing business for over 20 years and I have never known an establishment to run out of draft beer on a Saturday night especially as it was the ONLY draft lager that they offer. So the 2 members of the party had to settle for bottle lager. 2. The Thai section of the menu is written is some funky font which makes it difficult to read especially for the elderly, so we all ordered of the western section because we were hungry. We placed our food order which was around £150.00, only for the waitress to come back to us 20 minutes after we placed our food order, only to tell us that the "ribs weren't ready" OMG...Ribs were a major part of 3 dishes that we ordered. At that point I just decided, this was a sign and move on. We paid the £13.70 for drink bill and left. Saturday night at a restaurant in Central Birmingham, it was more like a Saturday night at a restaurant that is just about to close down. The huge sign was that Nandos next door was heaving and Tiger Bills had 15 customers including ourselves which automatically reduced to 10 when we left The fact this was a birthday celebration for my brother and we ended up going for "pub grub" which isn't ideal, but at least we were fed. Plus it pained me to pay £1.20 for parking and not even nacho passed my lips. Tried and tested and the conclusion is that this restaurant is overpriced, inadequate staffing, slow service unable to to comment on food, because we didn't stay to taste any. The only reason I'm giving a 2 and not a 1 rating is the waitress was very apologetic and friendly

The price is reasonable, the foods are ok and the staff are wonderful. However, the taste of food is unstable, it is different in every visit.

Visited here to grab a bite to eat before the cinema. I can't fault the service at all, the waiter was polite and attentive however for the price we paid, the standard of food was very poor. Others in the restaurant had to send their food back. I've honestly had better meals in a well know cheap pub chain. So disappointing because it's a decent venue and atmosphere.

We were passing through so thought we'd have a bite to eat. Food was good service was great. Can't really fault the place. If I'm ever up that way again I shall be paying a visit:)

On Friday the 15th we visited the restaurant. We had a disappointing experience before at tiger bills with timing issues. We thought we'd try the restruant again. The first thing we asked what is the serving time like. I Was advised by the waiter no longer than 20 mins. The Starter was 1 hour. The mains were dished out to another table. The other table noticed there's was wrong after they tried it. Waited another 10 minutes and gave up. I paid for our starter but i couldn't hack any more. our order was taken after people who had came in after me and my partner. Sorry but the service was very poor. Very disappointed

Good menu, very good service with a bit of personality, food was good and served quite quickly as we didn't have long to spare. Only gripe is that the steaks were a bit tough, otherwise very good!

Came for lunch with a group of around 15. Service was initially fine but it all went downhill once we'd ordered. Had to wait over an hour and a half for what could barely be described as a burger; burnt burger in a plain bun and not the sort you'd expect in a restaurant. At this point however we were all quite hungry and ate what we could, only to spend the rest of the afternoon wishing we hadn't, feeling particularly green for a few hours after. Safe to say we will not be coming back

We came here for a final get together for the end of our degree, but our experience was awful. It began well, we were seated promptly and the waitress even explained the menu to us, so it all felt very attentive. This didn't last. There were over 10 of us so I understand the order's may have taken longer than usual, but not this long. We waited up to 30 minutes for our drinks, they even forgot to bring tap water when asked. It took a while before starters came out, and we were sitting there for a total of one and a half hours before we got our main courses. Some people said their food was fine, but everyone who had a burger (including me) said that both the bun and the burger itself was burnt, some people couldn't eat it. I did because after 1.5 hours, I was starving. We were told that the delay was due to an unexpected inspection, but a couple who came in at least half an hour after us, received their drinks, starter and main, ate them and left, before we even got all of our mains. We were not offered any compensation and still expected to pay full price. Overall, bad food and bad customer service, would not recommend to anyone.

We visited Tiger Bills while we were in Birmingham on business.After looking on TA for somewhere to eat, we came across this restaurant and although the reviews were quite mixed we decided to give it a try, mainly because it offered both Thai & Grill options as opposed to one or the other. We made a reservation (recommended) a few nights before and upon arrival we were greeted by a nice lad who showed us to our table by the front window which we didn't mind as we love people watching.We were handed the menu's and our drinks order was taken, I ordered Tiger beer for me and a bottle of rose wine for the Mrs... we then chatted for a few minutes before the waitress came over and asked us if we were ready to order, which we were after a long drive. I ordered the stuffed potato skins and the Mrs ordered the Por Piah (vegetable rolls)... we always try each others food and we were both very happy with the taste & quality. After we finished our starters we chatted for about 5 minutes and then the waitress returned to collect our plates and told us our mains would arrive in about five minutes, which was fine. I had ordered the 'Big Bill' (half rack of beef ribs, chicken breast, char grilled flat-iron steak, chips, onion rings, coleslaw & salad) and it was superb... the Mrs ordered the Tamarind Duck, now I don't like duck but the Mrs said it was delicious. We were stuffed after the 2 courses so we opted not to have a desert which we normally do, so we had another drink or two instead ;-)The service from all the staff was very attentive but not over the top, very professional, friendly and very polite so all in all we enjoyed a very good meal.Would we go again?... probably, but there are many others in the same area of Broad Street that we would also try out first..

Visited with a group of friends, only 5 in our group. I arrived first to an almost empty resturant other than a large group upstairs. Found this odd as it was a Saturday night, why was there no more people in there, I wondered? I soon found out. A member of staff, possibly the manager, asked me very rudely "yes can I help you?". I told her a table was booked and was shown over, told that the menus were on their way over. They never arrived. After 20 minutes of waiting we ended up helping ourselves to the menus from the table next to us, who left before ordering. When we did finally order, the wait felt like forever. Me and my friends were the only people sat downstairs but no attention was given to us, instead the waiting staff focused their time with the party upstairs. When the food arrived the member of staff did apologise but blamed it on staff not turning up and a large party upstairs, which I found unprofessional to do so. We were offered a discount, but it was so little off their really was no point! The food itself was tasty, but because we waited so long we were no longer hungry. Real shame.

Recommended to visit here to go for a bite after work - Visited here last week with friends and enjoyed 3 courses! They do English and Thai dishes so it's great for when a group fancies something different to try on the menu including Stir-Frys, Curries or Thai Noodles! Nice choice on the menu, nice varied seating & and decor! Reasonable prices and the food was good! (Good portion sizes too) Nice friendly waitresses especially Claudia who served us! Would visit again!

This is the first time my boyfriend and I had visited this place- it always looks empty when we walk by, however we were intregued to see what it was like! I ordered the Nachos to start- the tortillas were stale and the cheese on the nachos wasn't melted. My boyfriend ordered the Calamari and said there was more 'fatty' batter than actual Calamari- not a great start! I had a burger for my main and it was discusting- it resembled a cheap microwable meal- I took one bite and couldn't eat the rest! Even the chips and coleslaw were horrible! In addition they forgot to bring out ketchup like I asked and my boyfriends sweet potato fries- in the end he told the waiter to forget the sweet potato fries as judging by the rest of the food, they probably werent worth it! At one point, the waitress started to hoover and the manager had to tell her to stop....very awkard!! We will never go back here- and now realise why its always empty!

Went here in a Sunday night after waddling through the crowds at Nando's next door. 20% Student discount off whole bill Sunday to Thursdays. Sweet potato fries- lovely. Pad Thai-good but slightly oversauced. Masuman curry brill, served with rice.

The service needs to revisited. Decor is somehow failing to deliver as you can see some pictures promoting NYC contrasting with the Thai decor and pictures.Food is average and overpriced...nothing special. Restaurant somehow lacks atmosphere .

I booked this thinking it would suit all of out tastes, and menu sounded nice. When we arrived, they had no record of my booking-which was fine, as although it was a sat night there was hardly anyone else in there! No atmosphere, no vibe-just strange. That was a sign..... We ordered a couple of sharing platters and I agree that Iceland could have done a much better job. The garlic bread was so hard we couldn't eat it, and the rest was just a collection of frozen food. No salad, mundane dips-dull dull dull. The waitress gave us a bottle of wine for us to open ourselves ( never have I been asked to do this before!!). The mains were ok-the Thai food was way too hot to enjoy, and the western was over priced and totally under delivered. Nothing different, or interesting-and in no way reflected the price tag. We laughed about it as it was such an epic fail of a meal out-but were disappointed as nandos next door looked so much more fun!

Originally wanted to go to nandos but it was heaving so popped next door.... Food was great, best pad Thai since Thailand and ordered a beautifully cooked steak too! Would defo return and recommend to all! Staff Pam, Claudia, John and Liz made us feel welcome and couldn't do enough for us x

It was actually the tiger bills off broad street round the corner from Cineworld we went to, it was a Tuesday night at 7pm and we walked in and there wasn't a soul in sight, we were actually unsure if it was open, we stood there looking around for a few minutes when a lady shouted from upstairs that she was sorry she was vacuuming and hadn't seen us and came straight down. She was very friendly, maybe a bit too friendly but nice enough. The service was good but we were the only customers so who knows if it was busy what it would be like as on that evening she seemed to be the only member of staff apart from whoever was in the kitchen. She was very helpful with the menu and the food was pleasant but not outstanding, certainly not a cheap night out but nevertheless quite enjoyable.

Love this place. Been here 3 times this year and it's only March. Went today was served by PAM she did well serving our party of 11 and the rest of the restaurant. Felt like it was s big family meal. Thank you for the great service. Great food. And great deals. I'll be back soon

Went on a Saturday night - was fairly busy. Took about 20 minutes for them to come and take our drinks order, service was generally very slow although the food wait was fine. Nachos to start were really nice, big portion. I had chicken and steak for main, chicken was a bit dry but sweet potato chips were nice and steak was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend had steak and ribs - again cooked fine but nothing special. Location is good though, straight to broad street afterwards.

To be fair there was a group of 8 of us, but the service was very slow. There was a single waitress for the whole of the restaurant, no wonder why she looked stressed! It took about 30mins to get our drinks. When the food finally arrived it wasn't bad, but nothing spectacular that made up for the wait. Had the service been quicker and more attentive the experience would have been a whole lot better.

A lovely place quite deceptive asits really big inside:) a various selection of american/mexican grills and thai food:). I was served and looked after by a lady called Pam . Lovely seating and decor. I had chicken satay as a starter lovely peanut sauce and the chicken was yum. Wish they gave at least three pieces.Then as part of the lunch time deal i had my main. Jasmine rice was cooked nicely and the red thai curry was absolutely beautiful fragrant. I asked for a really spicy version. I was full up at the end of my lovely meal.Food decor service and price were all decent so i highly recommend it again :)

Friendly staff, quick service, great food. Restaurant wasn't too busy, but it was a Monday night and we liked the quiet. Greeted with a friendly welcome, we were new to Thai food but fancied something new so asked our waitress for recommendations and she did not fail to deliver! They were delish! Will definitely be visiting again!

We went in for a meal before going to the cinema the ambience was grate nice decor and friendly staff main us feel welcome and relaxed we ordered cocktails And starters’ that were the disappointment came we had a Thai fish platter to shear the fish cake was rubber what was suppose to calamari was not right don’t know what it was the manager was grate tried to help they knocked 50% off that dish as we eat the prawns the burger I had was ok nothing to sing and dance about just ok don’t think ill be going back

Me and two of my girlfriends wanted to go to Nandos, but as the queue there was so big and we were short of time, we decided to make an impromptu visit to Tiger Bills, and to be honest, it will probably be my last visit there! The restaurant was fairly quiet, probably around 7-8 tables occupied. We were seated and given our menu. Ordered our drinks and food. Waited OVER AN HOUR for our foods (Just a burger each, not exactly the hardest thing to make unless your slaughtering your own chickens!) Only after a large amount of huffs and puffs from us did who I assume was the restaurant manager came up to us and apologised for the wait and said it was due to a large party. In my opinion, it was Saturday night, usually one of the busiest nights of the week and the downstairs part of the restaurant was super quiet. Even with a party upstairs, I don't see why the food should have taken this long as they should be prepared to serve far more people than this is the whole restaurant would have been fully packed out! Finally get out food, and was disappointed to see that my burger and chips was nothing more than a bit of cold bun and grilled chicken. Virtually no salad inside the burger, chips were standard and the coleslaw was a bit of chopped up cabbage drowned in cheap mayonnaise. And to think we paid £10 each for this burger! They did decide to knock £6 of the bill.. but to be honest, thats not enough to make me want to come back again!

The service was attentive and friendly, with thoughtful advice on the food and drinks menus. Good arrived quickly, in a well presented manner and was delicious. Nice atmosphere and great experience, would recommend!

10 lads went for a birthday. We are all into grill restaurants this one is terrible. Service awful and slow and had a better burger from a burger van. Don't bother!

We went here before watch a film at the Cineworld cinema. I could not fault this restaurant. We shared a Thai starter, both had combo mains and two drinks each and the bill came to £70. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very chilled. My boyfriend and I both had steak and it was cooked perfectly. I had the Thai Mai cocktail which was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be visiting again when I am back in Birmingham.

Firstly had cineWorld card so got 20% off. The food was good we had the larger grill, chicken, steak and ribs. Very large meal, all nice except for ribs, I was a bit freaked out as my ribs have bone in this didn't and tasted odd, however I was full on everything else so it was not a major issue. Deserts were average.Initially service was good, our waitress then went and we waited ages after mains to be seen, we had to ask for deserts and after deserts again we had to get up to ask for the bill. Overall it was nice experience, the downfall was the 'ribs' and service

My sister selected this restaurant for her birthday dinner after being recommended by a friend. We visitited on a Saturday evening so thought it would be good to book in advance to avoid disappointment. We arrived on time to an empty, dry restaurant. The atmosphere was non existent along with the staffs motivation. We are a table of 6, our starters were served at different times and the quality of the thai appetisers was poor resulting in half of them being returned. As the thai starters were so disappointing we asked the the waitress if the thai main was any better here response was that the kitchen was over worked so it may be better to order from the western menu. Burgers arrive, they were edible but absolutely standard, nothing special or unique!! We found it really overpriced for what we got, won't be visiting again...

Warm welcome, compfy surroundings, interesting menu. On ordering we were told what they were out of, which was wings and ribs, which took a fair few things off the menu. Also no vanilla ice cream. We ordered a burger, my son enjoyed it alot. I had a seafood stir fry was glorious!! My youngest chose chicken breast and cheese on children's menu, unfortunately it came smothered with BBQ sauce so he didn't eat it, the waitress kindly gave a free pud for him as the BBQ sauce wasn't on the description. Overall with the good quality of food and service it didnt really matter about the hiccups.

I took my boyfriend here for his 21st on a recommendation. When we got there the place was empty with only another couple in there. Anyway the staff are really friendly but they are quite quiet when speaking. When we sat down the seating was strange. It was high on one side where it was a bench type seating and the chairs were low. We order a sharing platter started which was nice and filling. We also ordered two burgers. When the burgers came I cut it in half to see a rubber looking burger which I then took three bites of and couldn't eat it due to how dry and tasteless it was. It was also meant to have btw sauce on it which it didn't. The only nice thing about the main were the fries. Even my boyfriends burger was like rubber. Considering how empty the restaurant was the food should of been better quality and a main priority for the chefs. However when I did complain and showed the waitress the burger she did refund me both burgers and I only paid for the starter and the drinks. Overall staff were lovely but food quality was poor

I always visit there cos it's very close to my place. I've tried only Thai food. It was great, but not authentic though. The place is not busy at all, so their food arrive fast. Staff is very nice. The worst is they never give receipt if you don't ask and that's the problem! I once went there for take away food. A man, which probably be a manger, did not give me a receipt and I realised when I was home that I paid more than I should for £7.

First night walking the street came across this restaurant it was early 5,30pm very pleasant young man great us sat down good selection of food lovely starter, main course lovely steak cook good the meat on the rips ws was so tender you could peel off with spoon a very good plate full,

Been twice in 2014 - almost time for my first visit of 2015 - love the american food, haven't tried the thai food yet but if its as good as the steaks i'm in for a treat. Brilliant service from the waitress and the hostess.

I arranged a birthday dinner for my fiance with my family in December and it was really great!Good food, good service and overall good experience. The staff were really helpful and helped with the set up, as well as the cake I had brought. They joined tables upstairs so that I could seat the 14 guests and it was an intimate setting because they sat everyone that came in downstairs - thanks again!Overall lovely restaurant and great for a birthday dinner!

Nothing too special about the food here. Which made the freezing cold venue all the more noticeable! Asked a manager about why it was so cold, and she told us the owners didn't want to fork out for a contractor. Now, this was at the END of our meal. It would've been nice to have been told about the malfunctioning heating earlier on - like perhaps when we asked to move table because it was so damn cold! As for the food and service, they were both decent (if you like soggy croutons), but our waitress managed to take our food order and completely forget to ask us for drinks! Plus, when settling the bill, I got called "posh" for trying to use an Amex card (which they don't accept). Bottom line: Tiger Bills won't be seeing me again. Not even when/if they decide to pay to fix the heating.

This was my second visit to the restaurant - popped in for a late lunch. We were seated at the back in one of the booths by a lovely friendly waitress. We decided to order from the lunch menu which was 2 courses (starter and main) for £8.95. I had the prawn toast and my partner had the chicken satay. We didn't have to wait too long before they came out. Both were delicious and tasted good. For the mains I had one of the noodle dishes with chicken - not pad thai but pad kee mao. My partner ordered the chicken pad thai. Both meals came out in one of the black cast iron pots - when I took the lid off, I was greeted with a delicious looking dish of noodles with plenty of chicken and vegetables. There was just a right amount of chilli to give it a kick. I really enjoyed my meal and ate it all. For what I paid, this was very good value and I would definitely go again!!

We went out with friends on a Tuesday night before heading on for a movie. We got great food served by a very friendly courteous staff primarily by Zoe and Pam. Was a good experience and will definitely recommend for a good night out.

I treated my daughter for a lunch birthday meal at Tiger Bills in Birmingham, excellent lunch menu choice at a great price and meal was absolutely delicious with great flavour and spices! Great drink choice too with cocktail menu! The restaurant was spacious and tastefully decorated. Would definitely go again!

After having received two phone calls to confirm our reservation and to check that we would still be attending, we presumed we would be turning up to a bustling restaurant with a queue out of the door, how very wrong we were. When we arrived there were two other tables seated and the whole place lacked any atmosphere. We were shown to our table and quickly told that they had no draught beer on offer as advertised. When the waiter returned he then proceeded to give us an extensive list of things that were not available from the menu, chicken tenders, chicken fajitas, crispy chicken salad, all curries containing chicken, on clarification the restaurant actually had no chicken available for any of their dishes and also had no ribs. We proceeded to order and after a short wait our starters unfortunately arrived, the Thai seafood platter resembled a platter pulled out of the freezers in Iceland and tasted just as bad. The mains that followed weren't much better and one dish was even accompanied with some microwavable plastic. After a long wait at the table with nobody offering us a dessert menu, further drinks or an option of the bill, we managed to pay up at the bar and leave as quickly as we could before spending the evening on the toilet in dire pain at the food just ingested.Needless to say we will not be returning.

We were heading out for a night at a new cabaret club and decided to grab some food en route. We had two hours to kill so a 20 minute wait didnt seem too major even though there were several tables available. When we were finally seated our table was round a corner totally separated from the rest of the restaurant and in total darkness. We had to use our phones to read the menus!! The starter arrived after half an hour and then we waited another 40 minutes for two meals that were both wrong. We complained to the waitress who apologised and offered replacements but by this time we had to leave. They were cold and inedible and our complaint never made it to a manager! Wont be returning

We went for a pre cinema meal, we were greeted by really friendly staff, got to pick where we wanted to sit. Our waitress was in training and she was very helpful, she explained the menu to us as we had never been before and gave us a few minutes to decide what we wanted. The drinks range was excellent and the they have Tiger beer on tap (which is bonus for me!!!), my wife had a cocktail. The food is really good value for money, my wife and I both had the flat iron steaks, they were cooked to perfection and arrived with three different side salads and a mountain of chips, (try the JD sauce with the steak, goes really well). Overall our experience was excellent, great atmosphere, friendly staff, not too long to wait for the food and great prices, especially for the location considering you are on Broad Street. I will definitely be going back again!!!!

Surprised to find this huge place empty of a Sunday afternoon because the menu is extensive and the place looks great.I ordered a vegetarian thai dish, but it came with chicken. I sent it back and it took a while to get a replacement. I told my husband to start eating his as it sat going cold before him. When my dish arrived again, it didn't have meat in it this time, but it wasn't the dish I ordered! I was so hungry I ate it anyway. The waiter was apologetic about it, but shall we say he seemed unsurprised.

Awful service last night in Birmingham.A group of nine friends and I went out for one of the girls birthday and since Nandos was pretty packed, we decided to try this restaurant instead.Everything was going quite well until we ordered. Only two/three people ordered starters while the rest of us went straight to our main meal. The starters arrived at a reasonable enough time, however for the rest of us we were left waiting AN HOUR AND A HALF for our meal to arrive - this was after we made a complaint, so we could've potentially been left waiting longer. After the complaint the food arrived to us around 15 minutes later. We were all disappointed in the meal portion and quality.. but maybe this was because we pretty much waited two hours to get it. We even debated getting up and leaving to wait in line for Nandos. Not only were we complaining, but the table next to us did too and requested to speak to a manager. We sat upstairs watching numerous plates of food go past us and be taken downstairs.The only positive thing I have to say about this restaurant is that the waitor was very friendly and even apologetic about our wait.. but that wasn't his fault. Definitely won't be revisiting.

Booked a table for 8/9 of us on a Saturday lunchtime. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy but that suited us. The waiter (sorry I didn't get your name) was very friendly, charming and funny. He made a fuss of my daughter which pleased her! We were all on the Living Social deal which was 2 courses and a drink from the Thai menu. I ordered the Thai fishcakes to start - when it came out it was delicious. 4 reasonable sized ones with a sweet chilli dip which complemented it nicely. My partner had the beef skewers which he enjoyed too. My friends all enjoyed their starters too - so no complaints!! For the main, I ordered the Taramind Duck which was lovely. The duck was beautifully cooked with crispy skin and served on crispy noodles and salad. I tried my partner's chicken pad thai which was equally good. Again my friends enjoyed their food as well. We ended up having dessert - I had the banoffee cheesecake and my partner had the apple pie. Both were polished off quickly. My little girl had the kid's chicken melt with fries and salad - good sized portion for a kid's meal. This was finished off with a tiger bills sundae. All in all, we had a great time, the food was very good and were of a decent sized portion. I would definitely go back again and would have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant to anyone!

The service was exceptional. The food was perfectly cooked (I've been before and it usually is!). My friend and I had a great time. The prices are reasonable and it's the perfect place to go for a bite after work or a movie.

Anybody reading this review I ague not to eat at Tiger Bills in Birmingham. I went there last night and was a big mistake. The starter was stone cold and I ask to get it back and second one was no better. The managment didn't seems to be bothered about this. The service was appalling. I was so angry with myself that I went to this place. Never again I will go again.

Ordered food and drink. Ate starters then wife felt nearly sick after a visit to their toilets. She told the manager and showed him round pointing out the actual human 'dirt' stuck to the toilet seat etc. He couldnt care less and ignored us leaving his red face staff to charge us for our experience.

My partner and I thought we would drop in to grab something quick to eat before going to the cinema around the corner.......... I wish we hadn't bothered!!As we were in a rush I didn't think we could go wrong with ordering the Thai Platter for two.When it arrived we were presented with what looked like something you would get from Iceland's basic range! There were 2 over cooked dry fish cakes, 4 prawns, 2 prawn on toast and 4 tougher than rubber calamari rings........all looked like it had been cooked straight from frozen!! At £13 it wasn't exactly cheap, probably the worst selection a Thai food I've ever had!To top it all off the waiters seemed bored and uninterested and weren't very helpful!Definitely won't be going back any time soon!

Man this place was pretty boring. Thursday evening we were the only people in there. I was sold on the "authentic Thai chef". Well she may have been Thai but it doesn't mean she was a great cook. It was fine. That's all I can really say. Thai starter was like a combo platter from Iceland. Harsh but true. Although the peanut sauce was tasty.

I have been their number 1 fan since the day they opened. The food is great and not expensive. The staff is very helpful. The 2 that always gave me best service ever are Pam - the female manager and a cute waitress that left the job a while ago. Pam has always greeted me with the friendliest attitude and she knows how to make the customers return. The atmosphere is excellent because it is usually not very busy. That is the main reason why Tiger bills is my favourite place. This restaurant is definitely underrated. My favourite dishes are Thai ones and always order Sweet Potato Fries. The fries are the best! I tried their American dishes sometimes, not as good but not bad for the value. The steak always came well-done although I ordered Medium. The burgers are not impressive. Neither the nachos. The ribs and wings are always nice.

We went on a Saturday after watching a film. We had booked a table for 10.3pm as we thought they'd still be busy as they're in the middle of Birmingham just off broad st. How wrong were we. There were only 4 other people in there and they appeared to be halfway through their food. When we ordered the food came out relatively quick but it was apparent both the waiting staff and the kitchen staff just wanted to go home. I'd ordered fajitas which came out on a skillet. I would have expected this to be sizzling but it wasn't. I would have also expected to get more than just 4 tiny fajita "wraps" (more like pancakes than wraps) and some cheese. I had to ask for cheese which took 10 minutes to come out despite there being no one else in the restaurant waiting on food. My food was what I would call lukewarm considering it was on a skillet. My partner had ordered a t bone steak which was ok but at £19.95 really could have been better. The fajitas were £10.95 and so not worth the money. Neither of us really enjoyed our food and just wanted to get out as quickly as we could. Will definitely not be going back. Avoid at all costs

Had such a lovely meal here with my family tonight. First ever visit and certainly not the last. Very good value too. Service was brilliant too. Lovely atmosphere highly recommend.

Family meal with me kids husband mum and dad . first impression were ok friendly staff but very quite we were the only ones in there which makes you slightly worry . drinks orders came back wrong on the first go . starter was ok was Thai fish cakes but there was no salad to go with it which is strange for Thai fish cakes . mains were ok nothing special my dads pad thai was very strange and overly wet he did not eat it . maybe if they just stuck to American food it would be better the thai food really was hit and miss . size of portion fine but not in a rush to go back . also the toilte area was very unclean and off putting

Last night was our third visit with the first two going ok. Previously it would have been a 3 out of 5. Last night we ordered a mixture of the Thai food and standard grill. The steak was not cooked the way we requested and went back to be cooked for longer. This took ages to come back which meant the remainder of our party were 3 quarters of the way through our meals by the time it came back. On 2nd attempt it was clear that only half the steak had actually been cooked. On top of that we ordered prong roles which were still frozen inside!!! No apology from staff and after complaining we had the steak meal and spring roles taken off the bill. It was a birthday celebration so gutted with how things turned out. Nandos is only a few steps further up the road and better value for money.

Took my daughter after a visit to the Odeon cinema at Broadway & ended the evening on a very pleasant note.We shared a Thai Combo starter platter which we both enjoyed. I then had the cat Fish main meal which as it was covered in polenta as opposed to batter was nice & light & very tasty. My daughter had the 1/2 rack of ribs which she finished off at home the next day as she couldn't eat them all!We both think the portions are excellent value for money & will be back soon.

I went for dinner with mum after a day out and we were waited for over 40 mins until the starters came, eventually after I have reminded the waitress twice. It was clear that the waitress forgot to put our orders in but they did not seem to be apologetic at all. Everyone else around us got served and left the restaurant while we were sat there still waiting for our food and it wasn't great experience. The food was ok for the price you pay and the environment was good. I was just very disappointed with the service and unlikely to go there again.

17 of us visited the restaurant for a birthday. We pre-booked the table, however were put on seperate tables. Starters arrived in dribs and drabs. Some starters just failed to arrive completley. As for the mains, the ribs were dry and cold. Chicken burger had blood in it and the fish was tasteless and dry, had to be seasoned with pepper personally to get an average flavour. The prawns were unseasoned. Overall dissapointed with the poor service and poor quality of food. Tiger bills is obviously unable to deal with demand. Will not be returning, should have gone to Harvester!!
