Cannot recommend Toros enough. Food is always quality, atmosphere is really good too. The service today was amazing, really no complaints. Please pass on my thanks to Madiha (the lady who was the waitress at the back of the restaurant). She came over to us quickly and took our order, the food arrived swiftly as always. She kept her section incredibly clean and catered to everyone she had seated.

Rude staff no smile on face. burnt chips. asked for specific seat they refused to make us sit down there ignored additional request.to add something on order because he had to delete and don't want to do that because it was very long Job. then i asked to lower down the volume as we was sitting right down under the speakers. can't even listen to my children what they are saying. when my child went to reception a girl literally come down to fight that this is not Music and we Like it i said whatever it is could you please lower down the volume. she Refused too lower it down. Remember it is always cash only i never seen their cash machine i working in last 7 years.. Really disappointed!!!!!!

Really dissapointed, especially being ramadhan. I called in to book a table for the family which included me, wife, and kids for iftari time. I was told that we cannot allow kids on the booking because adults are prioritised for this time. This gave the impression that parents with kids are not welcome to open their fast because they have kids and that takes away from adult. Sounded more like the fact kids don't eat as much, so less money made over having adults seated. I am extremely disspointed, terrible service, and very unethical. I cannot believe you would reject a booking because we have kids that need to be with us, this is shocking, I hope you read this review and others notice to see how unfair you have been. I used to visit fairly regularly, but this has disheartened me!

Booked a table a day before to open our fasts, I acknowledge we was told to arrive 20 minutes before fast opens however due to road conditions we were running late, we rang to inform the restaurant we are running late and we pre booked our order and tables however they did not take anything into consideration and gave the table to somebody who had not even booked a table,

One of the worst customer care and most of all they take cash wow, no card😳.

Every time I visit, Madeeha consistently takes the best care of us and ensures everything is perfect. What impresses me even more is that she treats every customer with the same level of care and attention. It’s clear she truly cares about her work! Thanks to her, we always look forward to coming back because the service is exceptional since she’s been here.

I had a very bad experience at Toro's Steakhouse. The food was disappointing, lacking flavor and quality. The staff was rude and unhelpful, making the dining experience unpleasant. The service was extremely slow, and the overall atmosphere was unwelcoming. On top of that, the prices were unreasonably high for the poor quality of food and service. Definitely not worth it!

Hello guys hope you’re doing very good . Very very very bad experience. Very non sense staff they don’t know how to talk with the customers Our recent visit to a restaurant with the family was a frustrating experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were left waiting for a table despite having made a reservation, and the staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in helping. Once seated, it took an unusually long time for our server to take our order, and when the food finally arrived, several dishes were cold and poorly prepared. The portions were smaller than expected, and some of the items were incorrect. Throughout the meal, the noise level was overwhelming, making it difficult to enjoy a conversation. To top it off, the staff was unresponsive when we raised our concerns, leaving us feeling ignored and disappointed. It was not the pleasant family outing we had hoped for, and we won’t be returning.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience. My family and I visited for dinner, only to discover that they only accept cash payments, which was not mentioned anywhere in their advertisements or on their website. I attempted to pay with a card, as we don’t typically carry large amounts of cash, but the staff was incredibly rude and dismissive when I explained the situation. Instead of offering any understanding or solutions, they became hostile and aggressively insisted I pay with cash. When I politely tried to discuss the inconvenience, they raised their voices and were extremely disrespectful, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Their behavior was completely unprofessional, and I was shocked by how they treated my family and me over a simple payment issue. This kind of poor customer service is unacceptable. I will never return, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this place. There are plenty of restaurants out there that respect their customers and have modern payment options.

If could have something below than one star I would have done that went for a family dinner suffered with so bad experience and threatening from the staff we came here thinking it's good big massive place would accepting card when the bill came they ask to pay by cash and we never carry cash after covid it's everywhere card payment it's few of this horrific business to save taxes goes cash only putting customer at inconvenient my brother was only man in family with them to have conversation they were 3 4 people from their side arguing over paying only cash we took him aside but this bad experience unacceptable customer service and rudeness of staff has spoiled all our evening ...I would highly recommend avoid this place at all cost people who goes from different city don't know the place so nicely would have to suffer real bad knowing they aren't accepting card or giving some other option of PayPal or bank transfer but NO they want cash only to save tax Rubbish staff , rubbish place.. I've been going to Toros every weekend for a while now, and each time, I’ve had the pleasure of being served by the amazing Madiha. She’s always so attentive and makes sure everything is perfect, from the food to the overall service. It’s clear she genuinely cares about providing the best experience. Whether it’s making sure my meal is just right or checking in to see if I need anything, Madiha goes above and beyond every time. I truly look forward to my visits, not just for the great food but for the exceptional service she provides.

Worst experience ever. No one told us they only accept cash and at time of bill their behaviour was so rude. I was with my family they treat with us in very bad manner and rudeness. Guys don’t spend your hard earned money on these type of clowns

Always come to toros in Birmingham and never fails to disappoint, amazing food and service by all the staff and management. Umair gave great service as well and was very attentive to all customers and sat us down very quickly considering it was busy. Will be back again

So I think standards are just very low for halal steak places which is unfortunate, not sure why this place is popular and has such large queues, the food is awful. Firstly the steak, there is a lack of understanding or care of how well done the steak is and I’ve seen this in other reviews too. If you ask for medium rare you will get rare and it’ll be inconsistent across the cut. The steaks are wet and lack any sear. The chips, are soggy because they’ve just been drowned in sauce and the “piri” just tastes like a load of ketchup was dumped on top. Definitely just from a frozen bag, same with the vegetables. No tap water and the water you pay for are small sized bottles. The food is not cheap for the quality you are getting compared to going to any real steakhouse and cash only which in 2025 just doesn’t make any sense. You’ll have your “sizzler” plates served and sitting there for minutes before having a bunch of cutlery just dumped on the table. Again if this was non halal and anywhere else it wouldn’t be open.

The staff takes care of us every time. Not only do they listen to our requirements but make us feel comfortable and always provide excellent service. The brilliant workers who makes us feel accomodated and welcomed - we come back on a regular basis for the best lamb chops in the UK.

This place is horrendously awful. I first went here a few years back. Place was packed. Service staff weren't very good. Sat us down and ignored us for ages. Served other customers they seated after us. The food wasn't good. Really bad chewy horrible steak. The veg was quite cold. Clearly hadn't been defrosted properly. The chips were poor. I went to this place again recently as I've regularly seen it packed. I thought it's been a few years so maybe it was a one off and I should give them a second chance. Absolute chaos in the restaurant. Staff running around all over the place. No real manners or focus on speaking to customers with any due care or attention. Again speaking to each other talking nonsense having a laugh and joke whilst we were mid sentence trying to make an order. Then the food came out. The steak was really bad. Really chewy. Tried to soldier through each bite but eventually had to spit it out. Was awful. Chips were really bad. I can't think of a place with worse food. I won't ever be going here again.

I enjoyed my toro's special which included a sirloin steak although I would say it tasted a slightly too peppery, it was juicy and cooked well. Strawberry mojito was perfect; sweet and refreshing. A bit annoying that they don't accept card. But overall great and fast service. I want to thank zeenat (I’m not sure if that’s correct 🥲) who helped me at the till.

Food and service are both faultless. Lamb chops in particular are world class and by far the best in Birmingham. would definitely recommend.

I've been here 3 times overall and I can honestly say, it's unfortunately one of the worst places to eat if you care about a good quality steak. The final time, We went as a group of 6, and the food came out at random times, My steak was both undercooked and burnt in different areas. We sat near the windows, which were wet with steam, so any time you leaned back you get wet. The restaurant seating plan is to pack as many people in as possible and it's loud and crowded. I personally will never come here again, nothing against the wait staff who were lovely, but the food took way to long to come out, the steak was really disappointing and the rice and pasta were really disappointing.

I went yesterday and I had a lovely steak, it was an extremely nice place from the food to the customer service, we got served by Aniya and I’ve got to say her customer service was top tier, she was extremely helpful too and you don’t see that a lot nowadays so I’ll definitely be returning

Our sever madiha was soo soo sweet. She was so lovely accommodating us with letting us charge phones, singing for my friends bday and with speedy service. Honestly sweetest server ever. So professional, kind, welcoming and warm.

How can a business of this size take cash only?! When questioned this they said they don’t have a card machine as it’s too expensive! Absolutely ridiculous. Toros special steak was decent, had it with peri chips and pasta. Meat was too thin. Quarter chicken was burnt and the rice was stale Brownie sizzler just smelt and tasted burnt. Virgin mojito was tasteless. Also check your receipt before paying, the brownie sizzler was advertised at 7.95 but tried to charge me 10 for it. When questioned they did sort this out.

Our server Karina was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive…we had chicken steak and lamb steak with cheesy mash and peri chips it was delicious ❤️❤️

Our first visit to this place. We were greeted at the door and taken to the table straight away. The food was served very quickly after placing the order. The waitress was helpful in deciding the menu choices. The food was very nice, especially the Toro's special steak and rib- eye steak. We won’t recommend the lamb steak as it was very chewy and difficult to cut. We did not like the way they served the steak, in a deep pan laid on the top of the chips. We would have preferred it on a flat plate and sides on the side rather than mixed with the steak. Overall, we enjoyed our visit here and the food.

Wow how dissapointed was I was told no card machine to get cash only ! I wonder why thats is ? The waitress that took our order got it wrong so when the food came out it was wrong. When I highlighted that this was the wrong steak and was under cooked when asked for well done the waiter stated that we had made the wrong orders our self. Very rude staff and very tight portions well over rated will not be going their again. Can not deffo reccomend this place Torros.

Service is always good here and the food is tasty but reason for star rating is its never cooked how i ask for and steaks veryy hard to cut in different areas. Also be aware some parts of steak may not be cooked as much as other parts. Despite all this the food is good and i still recommend it. 7/10

Steak is great. I had the fillet mignon and it was amazing 🤩, I asked for medium well and it came out well done and they replaced it for me as soon as I told the waiter which was lovely. The service is great overall they really know how to buy a customer. unfortunately they don’t have a card machine😔

Gorgeous juicy succulent steak with buttery mash absolutely divine only negative is that it's cash only but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make to visit toros again

The Toro's special sirloin steak tasted good, but overwhelmingly thin compared to other places. Medium was slightly rare but no problem. Mashed potato sizzler tasted good, it was a huge portion probably 5 potatoes in there. Strawberry Mojito was slightly limy. Service was decent, folks were working overtime and our server Madiha has been kind.

Lovely decor, food was ok ordered medium rare steak, was given rare but the rest of the meal was nice Shockingly poor service, reserved a table for five, was seated right at the front by the doorway which had a cold draft coming in every time it was opened, I asked to be moved but was refused by the waitress, I was informed that all the tables were booked even though they were not. Staff seemed preoccupied with themselves instead of checking on customers to see if everything is ok, the head waitress rushed around tables checking on her iPad and then checking the tables even ours while we were eating which seemed a bizarre behaviour from her, our meal felt rushed because of this strange behaviour and it wasn’t once. Sadly I will not be returning here again

The food was absolutely 10/10, and the drinks were just as amazing! We had a lovely server, Madiha, who was not only quick and efficient but also incredibly welcoming. Her warm attitude made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The jumbo prawn sizzler has got to be my favourite item from the menu. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Efficient service and great atmosphere. Really enjoyed my meal as always at Torros Birmingham.

Staff tried pressuring us to give them a good review on the spot so I wouldn't believe the other reviews i'm reading on here. It's more fast food than steak, frozen meats, usually overcooked... this is not the place for anyone seriously looking for a good steak.

We had arrived quite late with 11 family members. Regardless of the timing, the staff looked after us and the food arrived promptly. We were very pleased. Almost everyone ordered steaks which came well prepared and sizzling hot. The price for food at this place is still very reasonable.

Food arrived quickly and it was a decent meal at a fair price for 8 of us. The service was disappointing as we were served by a rude waitress with an attitude problem. We were also served by a waiter who kept forgetting items which were requested at the time of ordering- he was also sarcastic with his comments. Staff could do with training in hospitality or be referred for anger management as they seemed to have a problem with serving customers what they had ordered.

The food was amazing, came early, warm and freshly made, amazing family friendly environment, our waitress Sehar was amazing, defo would come here again. Would definitely come here again
