Nice upstairs but annoying when it’s blocked off which they do quite a lot now. Always fast food service and a good place to just chill in or work in.

I go there every Wednesday. I'm known as the bread lady because I take Surplus food from Wesleyan Holiness Church foodshare to the pub. I having been meeting there fir years. First to help disabled people with advice, counselling formfilling then to support someone who'd just moved into the area. Every Wednesday I go to Acorn Charity shop for 50p lucky bag which I open in E of Y and price up individual items. Then people help themselves to what they want. It's a great meeting place spoilt only by the fact that they've pushed us from our window seat by putting high tables and machines I. The window. It was accessible and we enjoyed people watching

Nice pub along with staff. The only reason for 2 stars for atmosphere is simply when I was there it was virtually empty. But I have also been here whilst it has been absolutely packed.

Never had food there but everything else is Great!

This pub is vastly underrated on TripAdvisor due to so called wannabe keyboard warrior "social media influencer" doing a spot check and not being qualified in any whatsoever in formulating a worthy food critics opinion.I have been a member of CAMRA for 10 years and have been a customer of J.D.Wetherspoons for 35 years-so I know what I talking about.This pub has immediate attentive staff,ultra friendly and super professional.This is a real locals' local so the staff and clientele make you feel immediately welcome.

Pizza de pepperoni con una bebida Pagado con tarjeta. La pizza estaba basada en masa madre. La pizza era dura en los bordes demasiado suave en el centro. Apenas había queso y la pequeña cantidad que había no era sólida. -De todo. Estaba empapado. No pude comerlo todo aunque lo intenté. La peor comida que he comido cuando me quejé de ello, el personal me preguntaba qué pasaba.

I popped here on the 9.11.2024, the two young guys who were working the bar, are an absolute credit to this establishment. What helpful, charismatic, hard working, young men. If definitely be returning, just to see them, thanks guys, keep up the great work.

As 'Spoons go, it's fine. The staff are decent. Usual random selection of cask ales, some of which are good. Well kept and clean.

¡Este lugar es tan desaliñado! Las viejas y pegajosas mesas desapareadas coinciden con el resto del pub que a su vez coincide con el gerente. Sí, el de la camisa medio colgada de los pantalones y con una cara muy triste. Ah, y no te sientes en los asientos laterales de abajo sin un abrigo. Lo más probable es que el ventilador de la unidad de techo sople aire frío. Incluso en invierno. Y mejor no mencionar a los viejos borrachos desaliñados que rondan las dos entradas y toman mesas enteras mientras miran vacías al espacio cuidando un vaso de una pinta eterna. La habitación de arriba es tan mala. Las mesas pegajosas sucias y sin limpiar son lo primero que verás al llegar al escalón superior de la escalera. El baño Gents es probablemente la zona más limpia del pub. Es una lástima que los condimentos para comer estén situados fuera de las puertas de los baños.

Popped in for a few drinks with a friend, as expected. Pleasant atmosphere priced as expected also. Fair dinkum didn't have any food but what I could smell and see from other punters looked nice.

Table service was great the staff were very helpful and I will go back again

Lovely pub, tables are a bit sticky (to be expected), food and drinks are very reasonably priced and are tasty. Just be warned - the cocktail pitchers are only 4 units for the whole pitcher, so very weak, but only cost 8 quid so can’t complain. Staff are friendly and service is very fast.

We didn't eat here so I've based my star rating for food on other Wetherspoons experiences. The staff were lovely and friendly. The pub was clean and the toilets were spotless. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Very dog unfriendly, Brexiter owned hell hole. Some of the clientele can be very pugnacious. I will never darken it's door again. Toilets are upstairs.

Decent bar but food too expensive Bought the jalfrasi. Curry was not hot.nanbread was harder than my plate! Rice was cold too. Bar staff who served me went off duty b4 I could complain.

Stopped here with some friends after we did some shopping and we had a great time. We had lots to drink and some food together and overall it wad good. There was a sobbing lady who headbutted the wall but thibgs can't be helped. Overall a good weatherspoons and wasn't to busy either.

so today i went to wetherspoons and the service was absolutely terrible ! never experienced something so BAD in my life the tables were dirty the machines were broken the lighting was AWFUL the staff were the worst part of my experience i wouldn’t recommended this pub to my WORST enemies, don’t go here unless you wanna waste your money then be my guest but it’s not worth your time go to the city centre wetherspoons instead it’s a lotttttt better.

While I've seen many of the reviews and thought wow... having eaten in here I find the place really good. Have eaten here a few times, the mixed grill is really good. The staff are pleasant and helpful and if you need assistance they are on hand for that. Now for the negative.... it does get busy at peak times and hard to find a seat, the staff are also busy at those times but still handle themselves as you'd expect them too... some of the clientèle are a little kooky (on night times) but generally on the whole ok.. all you want from a wetherspoons is cheaper drinks, clean environment and food that's hot and edible served by friendly knowledgeable folk.. this place fits the brief.. only thing it's missing is background music.(edited review) so, I've been coming to this place for a year.. and honestly the people are friendly, you can't fault the staff they are amazing. The food is really good. Honestly needs some background music though! Been here a fair few times, its always the staff that make a place and in this place it's no exception. Food is what you expect from a wetherspoons, the customers are funny and engaging but the staff make you feel welcome which is what you want from a pub

Served a dirty mug.Then bought upstairs same dirty mug by waiting staff .Fish Luke warm, Chips not warm at all Told only two turned up. I've had to pay for such bad service. Won't be coming here again Shame because last time I come here I was impressed. My son washed the dirt off mug using machine hot water. Went for 2bd coffee both machines run out so not working. Very over worked , due to only two staff Man who served us looked spent out. Feel so sorry for so few staff doing so much They are lucky if they don't have a breakdown

The staff in there are normally brilliant I've just popped in for food & drink, I'm waiting behind a gentleman who ordered a pint of lager, after he moved off the woman who had just served him instead of serving me looked in the direction of another customer in a different queue & said "is anybody waiting to be served" and proceeded to walk away to a customer who wasn't in her queue yes she did glance back in my direction but pretended she didn't see me. Do you know what covert racism is? yes I walked out, this has happened before in there amongst other places & of course she will deny it ever happened or she didn't see me because there wasn't any lighting at the time A large woman dressed in all black. 2.4.2024 13.15 ish

A typical weather spoons but good food and nice atmosphere, upstairs is much better and brighter than downstairs. The food was good and well presented and despite a mix up with my order, the manager was very good, letting me keep both meals and apologised, it happens, but the main thing is making it right which he did with flying colours. For allergy info downloading the app is the way forward and allows you to filter the menu, just a shame U have to go back into the main menu to order, but this is the fault of the chain not the pub. Will definitely be visiting again, and thanks again for resolving the problem so fast and without questions.

Good Saturday breakfast stop for visitors to Moseley. It's a " Spoons " so don't know xpect serene views. Staff pleasant and helpful.

The Elizabeth of York had quite a crush on New Year's Eve. Nearly all of the tables in the room was taken, although we still found some high chairs close to the entrance. The service was a tad bit slow but given the crush, totally forgiveable. The pints were surprisingly cheap compared to what I was used to. There were a normal of interesting people in the room too. Crowd was across all age spectrum. The music, if any played wasn't so loud as to not hear one's self. So nice spot to grab a drink and have some conversations. Nice!

Friendly staff and good food. Some customers feel it is appropriate to make racist comments about me. Won't be visiting again.

Visited 3/12/2023 for breakfast. Very friendly staff, but it was very cold in there, as heating wasn’t working. Not all breakfast items were available due to equipment not working. Ordered Eggs Benedict, unfortunately the food was very cold. Also the plate was cold and not warmed up. The food had flavour but definitely would have been better if had been served hot.

Nice decor with a pleasant mezzanine upstairs where you can watch the hipsters of Moseley knitting Tofu whilst cycling past on their re-cycles. Staff are consistently efficient and friendly. My only gripe is that the coffee machines rarely work correctly.

We come here quite often and the food is always good but today it was amazing! We had the lasagna and a pizza and each dish was to a high standard. Service was friendly and prompt and food came out quick.

Everything 100 per cent eggs a little over cooked

First visit here and loved it landed on a night with a great real ale an American pale ale which went very well with the excellent mixed grill. Must say one the friendliest spoons I have been to in a while with attentive staff and perfectly cooked food

Popped in for a few drinks with friends. The place is very clean and a good atmosphere. The service was brilliant from the young lady manageress with the brown hair, I didn’t catch her name. She is very knowledgeable and a friendly face which is just what you need! I’ll definitely be returning because of this lady. She made me and my friends feel welcome.

Went there for a job interview and the manager wanted me to work everywhere(bar, waiter, kitchen) in the restaurant for the minimum per hour. Typically for Whetherspoons.

I'm not really a public house person and had never been in a Wetherspoons before. Very clean, quick no-fuss service. No rowdiness when I was there. I'm no drinker but when I purchased drinks for others, I was surprised at how cheap they were. You know that old joke from Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy: "What ? Keep the Change ? From a fiver, sir ?" - well you could make that work here. In-app, bar, and at-table service all quick and easy.
