Subway in West Dorset

Great service today by Ben , friendly happy and quick .

What a rude and ignorant member of staff they employ here. I asked very politely if I could bring a very small assistance dog in with me. I was told in a very rude manner that company policy was that no dogs were allowed. A bit of politeness would have gone a long way. Will not go here even without dog.

I ordered a veggie delite and was given a chicken subway instead. It was clearly mentioned that I’m allergic to chicken and no one cared, this is extremely poor service

I visited subway on the 18/7/23 at lunchtime. There was a bit of a queue but nothing too bad. I ordered my food and the man serving did seem as if he did not want to be there at all. He was very fed up and quite rude to the customers before me. I took my food home. when eating the BMT sub I did think there was an off taste but thought it may have been the sauce. Later that night I became very poorly and suffered from food poisoning. This is very disappointing as I haven’t had a problem with other subway stores.

Excellent staff and food, but have closed early multiple times over the last few weeks ("due to staff sickness"). This is getting rather frustrating, and while the reason is understandable, it going on for more than a few weeks is not, in my opinion.

Always good food in here although seems to be getting quite expensive considering it is just a sandwich but again food is nice so woth it really

I ordered on Deliveroo and ordered a double chicken tikka wrap cheese and toasted with lettuce and peppers. When it arrived it almost had onions in it which I can not eat. I don’t understand how this mistake can be made. Wouldn’t Oder again.

Absolutely fantastic ! Ash was so accommodating for all the different subs and fillings we wanted. He was working on his own but kept calm and was extremely professional and friendly . Excellent..deserves more recognition

Went Saturday lunchtime and was served by a very helpful lad . Good service and good quality of roll. Would definitely recommend .

Other than it being hard to queue when busy, it's a decent subway. Friendly staff, usually pretty quick service, and a few comfy seats to sit if you want to eat in.

i went in to the subway in dorchester for my lunch with some mates expecting a lovely 6 inch sub but no instead i was greeted by a to**er of a man with glasses and a chain who simply didn’t speak to me and just ignored me. he then went into saying so what u having in a rude manner. after getting my subway he said £5 and that was it. don’t come here ever if you are expecting good customer service

Absolutely disgusted with the attitude of the manager at the dorchester branch. Our first time ordering here and our last ! Our subway experience and customer care was lacking to say the least. Our order completely messed up, the children's rolls had wrong sauce, jalapenos, pickles, chilli flakes that we never asked for ! We was very happy to return the food untouched for what we asked for. And the manager said yes so we went through the whole order again. Was told to throw the rolls away. So when the lovely uber driver returned he was so apologetic and informed me that subway had changed there mind and only would replace 1 roll ! £18 for 1 roll! 2 hungry kids, a waste of my time , no contact number to contact subway. Appalling

I have ordered subway on Uber eats twice and both times there have been missing things!! First time 3 things were missing from my sub and the second time a cookie was missing! So I have paid for a cookie I’ve not had, it’s not hard to get orders right is it!!

I had a 12 in chicken in a French Roll. I left 20 minutes later. Eating. All of a sudden. I want to be very very sick and a feeling if wanting to passport out. With a terrible head aches. I not rate any thing all day.one in subway. Then it all started. When I can't food in Dorchester subway. Last may. 2029. I never eat in there ever again. I was so I'll, time I got home. Spending the whole evening in the bathroom. Nearly killed me. It was definitely food poisoning. I never eat in there ever again. For the rest if my life.

Easy to getting no queueing so speedy service I would visit again

Rude staff, no asking if the way they made my sandwiches was to a good standard, which they were not. Lacking on sauces and the member of staff chose to lie to my face in front of an advert as to when the Christmas menu ends which was the day after my visit to this restaurant.

Quality personalised food for cheap prices

We stopped off here for breakfast, very good service, excellent food, only out door seating, but the day we were in Dorchester it was nice and sunny.

Love this place! It is a bit small so when its busy its hard ti get around but i have neger had a bad experience :) an easy place just to have lunch

Loved the speed and friendliness of the staff we saw a man named tony today very friendly and helpful treats customers with respect food was great nice atmosphere to eat in and all round great experience

If you are in a rush and want something simple but with a bit of customisation then it's alright.

Worst subway the food was not fresh at all, staff were nice and looked clean, just the food which let it down and that’s the main thing you want to be perfect

Good course, a bit crowded when we played as it was twilight golf and the lights in the clubhouse were on by the time we finished. Some tough holes but lovely layout.

Great place for dinner or snacks

Would have been nice if they served in the order customers come in. An extremely rude man walked in and was getting angry with another customer who was already being served. I was waiting behind them for almost 10 minutes and then the new customer pushes in and gets served while I'm still waiting behind like I'm invisible!!

I can't comment on subway as we was sat next door in Dorchester travel booking our next holiday. we found the staff in Dorchester travel very helpful and catered for all of our needs and sorting out all the paperwork for us highly recommend

Searched on maps for nearest Subway. Found it was a couple of mins tucked at the bottom of South Street. Not as big as your usual subways but still packs the goods. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Definitely go back again.

Good subway, all the staff are well trained and make some nice subs. Probably the smallest subway I’ve ever been too and there is about 3 tables but as a takeaway subway I would say it’s worth recommending.

Often pop in for a toasted sandwich or slice of their delicious cake with a cuppa when visiting Dorchester. Always buzzing and staff very welcoming.

I will always associate this place with the above title, my children wanted to go and suggested this place. We ordered rolls, and it was suggested we have them warm, big mistake limp and soggy. Not nice I am sure if it was served cold it would have been better, anything would have been better

Everything you would expect from a Subway - smelly and yuk!! Don't like Subway generally but this one was particularly crass and smelly. Get a sandwich from Morrisons opposite instead !!

My son was in hospital for a few days and I took him his favourite foot long each day. On Wednesday I got back to the hospital and my son found that their was no beef in his roll. The lady had forgotten to put it on but, when I took it back, I was made to feel like I wasn't telling the truth and not once did either staff member apologise for the inconvenience they'd caused me. Unbelievably poor customer service. Sadly, I'll be thinking twice about returning.

Popped in here for lunch, as one expects very efficient service and tasty food, not too far from the train station if you are loking for a quick bite to eat.

Speedy service, helpful assistant, who even said if we took the drink deal it would actually cost less than without the drinks! He told us the best deal for each of the 4 meals. No Queue, fast , efficient and great value, everyone happy as they chose their own favourites, recommend, handy parking in library car park then a short walk down an alley , so very convenient.

We use Subway over any other fast food chain as the food is always fresh and we have never had a problem, however today you will know we are loyal customers as we have over 2000 points on our loyalty card and when attending this particular subway on our travels we had our card scanned for points added on our purchase however they would not let us use our points to pay, at first the young lady said the scanner was broken even though she had just added my new points, then said well pay by cash, to which we said no as we have enough points, she then said surely you have a debit card ? This became quite embarrassing as it was lunch time and people were behind us so in the end we walked out even though our sandwiches were made and drinks and crisps done. She would not honor the points system they offer as a company. Very disappointed.
