Wythmails in Wellingborough

Came here with a friend for a girly catch-up. She recommended the chips - we opted for cheese and marmite chips. Oh my days they were amazing! The service was first rate, the staff was friendly and the cafe was fresh and clean - highly recommend.

My 1st visit & won't be the last, there was a 45 min wait as it was busy but was a chilled Sunday morning so didn't mind. Glad we did, I had the French Toast & it was sooo good! My Son & fiancee had the Breakfast Burgers which where tasty. The chef needs a mention as great tasting food. Waiting staff lovely. Will be visiting again, Thank you

Everything they make here is divine. The breakfasts are fantastic, so come hungry! The cakes are huge and the sausage rolls are like doorstops!

Lovely little find. Personally I much prefer smaller places for a breakfast date with my dad. Good was beautifully presented, and tasted wonderful. Staff were really lovely and friendly, especially Tina, who we chatted to and distracted from her work (sorry if we got you in trouble) would I recommend, absolutely!!! But almost don’t want to in case we can’t get a table for our next visit!

Food was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend is coeliac and although it wasn't marked on the menu the staff were very accommodating and told us what we could have. It was busy but food didn't take too long although I did hear a few orders after ours were told it would be up to half an hour wait which isn't surprising considering the kitchen is so small. We were both very impressed with the presentation and the taste of our meals. The flavour combinations on the menu are outstanding. We will definitely be returning.

We came as a couple for a New Year’s Day meal and we really enjoyed our afternoon. The food tasted amazing and the staff were really friendly. Would recommend to others and return again in the future.

Lovely coffee and cake stop. Very friendly, clean and well kept cafe. Good looking menu and specials board, although we went with a combination of toast, crumpet and fruit and cream filled scone!! Will go back.

Visited on Sunday June 4th, on a very reliable recommendation for breakfast.Very busy as we expected,but what we didn’t expect was to be told there would be an hours wait for food. I don’t think anyone would be happy with this ( might as well put up a sign telling people not to bother) so we decided on tea and coffee instead. I opted for a bog standard cup of white coffee on the bench outside which was delivered black no milk or sugar. Had to go in and chase these two essential items. Overall very disappointed first and last visit.

Outstanding in every way! Have been here to eat twice now in as many weeks. Food is fabulous, lovely atmosphere and super friendly service. Can’t wait to go back!

Visited her for a breakfast/brunch meeting and what a delight! The food was wonderful - I opted for their smashed avocado and salmon, and it was presented beautifully and tasted perfect. The coffee is good, the wifi is strong enough for a meeting, and there were plenty of tables to choose from when we got there around 9.30am. It did get busy after an hour or so, and there were a few people waiting for takeaway orders inside, so would imagine it stays busy over the brunch/lunch rush. The service was friendly and honest, and they sell a wide load of home made sausage rolls and treats to takeaway or eat inside. It is fairly pricey - breakfast and drink for myself, plus a sausage roll to take away was near £25 so it’s not a budget cafe, but well worth treating yourself!

Wythmails is a great café to get you away from the main towns of Wellingborough and Kettering. The menu was a mixture of the classics and a few little different things if you want a change from he full English. On this occasion I didn't and it was a great decision.

Incredible service and food. Food not only tastes amazing but is presented with such care for such a busy little restaurant. It's a must visit if you're in the area.

Happy, bright, clean, well presented . Had a sausage roll and coffees.(1 s/roll ) was enough for us both, really lovely, coffees superb, I like americarnos, this was delicious,tasted like coffee should, and not like melted shoe rubber ( yuk!). Last time I had one like this was, pre all lockdowns l east Sussex, lot a coffees ago . Recommended to come here by a good friend of mine , and she owns a superb coffee shop!!!! ( Perhaps turn the rad up a little more on a cold day !!!! Brrrrrr !! ) .

Just lovely . A warm welcome from the bright and friendly staff, not to mention a most delicious breakfast! I had the full breakfast bap and my son had the veggie breakfast bap! Both were beautiful served with wonderful fresh products ! Tasty and imaginative! Cappuccino was piping hot with a generous sprinkle of dark chocolate on top!

Such a lovely welcoming cafe, all the staff are friendly and genuinely happy. The food does not disappoint, with great quality and does taste exactly how it looks! I have been back since and will recommend to anyone, as I love supporting great small businesses.

Wonderful coffee shop. Service and quality of food is top notch. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had and I’d happily travel 40miles from where I live just to have one of their caramelised sausage roles! Fantastic experience. Lovely people who are obviously passionate about what they do.

This was my first visit here after my friend stressed to me that I must try it as she comes here often. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Goats Cheese brunch and it was divine! The sourdough was gorgeous, there was so much goats cheese, the fig relish was delish and there was lots of lovely crunchy walnuts aswell as plenty of Parma ham. I was very greedy and also ordered the cheese and marmite fries and oh my goodness!!! These hit next level. I dont think I will ever eat better fries! It was the best breakfast I have ever had. I live in Yorkshire so gutted this place isnt nearer to me but I will be sure to come back when I am next down Northamptonshire and will recommend to anyone! What a little treasure this place is!

Popped in for tea with a friend and ended up staying for a few hours and having food. The staff are all fab and the setting is lovely. Had a magical time!

My wife and I decided to stop for a coffee and a piece of cake here, while the staff were friendly and the cafe had a nice feel about it. We were a bit surprised by the pricing, £3.20 for a fairly average cappuccino and £4.00!! for a piece of cake. We have a batista style coffee shop in the village where we live and the pricing is much fairer and quality MUCH higher . How can they justify London pricing in Rural Northamptonshire?.

If you’ve never been you really must, it’s awesome. They really don’t need good reviews, the food and service take care of that and word of mouth spreads far and wide. No matter what you order here it will be worth it. I mean the photo speaks for itself.

After seeing Instagram pictures I couldn’t wait to try this cafe out whilst I was out this way, it didn’t disappoint, the owner (or manager) was so friendly and welcoming. It was a lovely day so we got to sit outside in the sun and it’s situated in such a lovely spot with parking right outside, with the sweet touch of chalks been given to my little girl who could chalk on the floor to keep her amused. There was a lot of choice for food and drinks and milkshakes. We also couldn’t resist buying one of the huge sausage rolls and yummy bakes to take home after breakfast, it was a little pricey for brunch but the presentation, quality of food and for something different, it was worth the treat, so would recommend and nice to see an independent local business doing well

Lovely little coffee shop set in a quiet Northamptonshire village. Good selection of hot and cold snacks. Friendly staff and lovely converted building. Parking can be a challenge, but hey ho, you can't have everything.

So nice to have good vegan options that are not all fake meat! Stylish interior and plenty of outdoor seating. Great for breakfast, brunch, lunch and coffee and cake. The mushroom paninis were flavoursome and filling and the skinny fries were awesomely good!

We have visited Wythmails a number of times since it first opened last summer. On each occasion we have had great food, drinks and service. All of the staff are warm, friendly and really knowledgeable about everything they have on their menu.
