Fish and chips are fantastic from Blue Atlantic. I have never had a bad experience, cooked from fresh and so tasty

I arrived at 19.15 last night and ordered cod, chips, and mushy peas I was looking forward all day to this but I was extremely disappointed with the quality of their food the chips were soggy and taste bland the fish was just as bad that was completely dry the batter just turned to dust as I cut it and the mushy peas taste just like the ones you get in Tescos.I think they were trying to get rid of the food that sat under the heat lamps for ages rather than thinking of their customers and putting them in the bin and cooking some fresh food No I would never buy food from them again.

Absolutely gutted, been using BA since moving to Wellingborough and we thought we had found a great fish and chip shop,,, but the last four occasions its been uneatable. The batter is soggy and tastes like Yorkshire pudding batter (uncooked) chips are pale and under cooked and I just wont give you a fifth chance as fish and chips are now an expensive treat and we cant afford to just chuck them away. sad to write this as the staff are always friendly.

Very greasy if you. Like oil chips all stuck together curry sauce is grainy. Very disappointed Won't be going back

Worst customer service i had ever received! Popped to the local shop next door to get my baby milk and decided to treat my other children to a small battered sausage and a large plain sausage due to there being around 5 of each available on display i thought i would be in and out as this is the usual case in any chippy up and down the country 🤷‍♂️ i was then meet with a 25 minute wait which i was totally ok with due to customers in front of me being served first ( typically British queuing order ) only for the customer after me who ordered a large order being accommodate before me 🤦‍♂️ as i left there was numerous small and large sausages still available clearly no common Sense working at this establishment and a bias towards large paying customers 🥲 very disappointed regular customers will not be attending again ! 👎

Easily the best chippy in the area, chips are crispy and not greasy, fish the same and the bigfoot sausage is a great addition to their menu! Louis is always chatty and happy? Cheers!

We all agreed that this was the best chippy we'd ever eaten in our lives. The chips were delicious and perfectly cooked, and the curry sauce was full of flavour. For anyone in the local area wanting amazing, traditional fish 'n' chips, look no further.

Ordered by phone which is a very easy and efficient way to get fish and chips rather than having to queue. We ordered large chips.....they were huge portions even when shared. Not one complaint among the 11 of us that enjoyed the food. I'll certainly use this place (plaice???) again.

I found this place to have chips that are out of this world yet the sausages and fish where lacking flavour. The staff are polite and friendly and will help you with any questions you have overall a great chippy

We bouht fish and chips the portion sizes were generous but the fish had not had time to drain and was very greasy.

Chips are lovely, also the onion rings, to be honest everything we've tried from there is tasty!

The best fish in the area. The staff are always friendly too. It's worth the wait whilst your food is cooked fresh. Ordering ahead via WhatsApp is recommended on a Friday and Saturday though. Oh, and be warned, the large cod is huge!!

Having moved to the area recently I spent quite sometime looking for a great fish and chip shop being used to great fresh fish and chips having lived by the sea for many years and sampling great meals, this fish and chip shop is to a standard that equals what I was used to and is not only good but the cost is reasonable

This is the best fish and chips I have ever had. I'm from London and am visiting Wellingborough for a few days break from London. The fish and chips here is lovely and crispy and only £5.30 for a big piece of cod and small chips. Very good price for the meal. The small chips are enough for two people actually so I have definitely over eaten. It was nice to have the crispy bits in the chips. My local fish and chips in London throw away the crispy bits but that's the best part. I will certainly miss this fish and chips shop when I return back home. I'd give them a million stars if I could. I will recommend this chippy to anyone and will also recommend it in my hotel review as its only 5 minutes drive from where I am staying. Might encourage others to try it. Well done and thanks for such a lovely meal.

We have been using this place for a few weeks .They can be a little slow at times but last week was amazing in & out in 5 minutes! The fish is a good size & delicious! Plenty of chips per portion.Give it a try!

Always cooked fresh what else can you ask for

all of the food that was provided was excellent and most of the staff were friendly , however there was this underage teen who ,kept staring at me for no reason , who worked there, I would highly suggest his removal from the business.

The food is excellent and cooked in good clean oil so its healthy and good for you (well that's what I tell myself !) Extensive and varied menu. Large portions and excellent value. The shop is very clean and has a 5 star hygiene rating. Fantastic. I like it and can't find a better chip shop.

Our local chippy is pants. We don't fancy fish and chips that much but when you do its nice to have them cooked properly and using quality fresh ingredients. Searched the reviews and despite the odd average Blue Atlantic came out best. Drove over and went in, received a pleasant greeting and was allowed time to peruse the menu without interruption. The Blue Atlantic has received a 5 stars hygiene rating from the local council and deservedly so, the shop is spotless. Nice menu with all the usual chippy goodies but a few other things like the foot-long banger, salt and pepper squid. Food duly orederd and wrapped we got home to see if it had survived the five minute journey home. It had, by far the nicest tastiest chips we have had since relocating here. Great squid, nice battered sausage and a pukka pie and the savloy was good too. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

By far the best chippy in Northants. The cod pieces are great and chips are awesome. 🍟🐟 Don’t forget the mushy peas, they’re great. All fish cooked to order.

Visited the the Blue Atlantic for traditional fish & chips and mushy peas whilst visiting family in Wellingborough on a trip from Australia. The battered Cod and chips were fab and my husband had a chicken and mushroom pukka pie 🥧. There is nothing like English fish and chips !

There’s one staff member called Katie who is doing really well for her age and works very hard. She has served my food before and her effieciency id remarkable for such a young worker. No just her, other people are great too. Good job everyone at Blue Atlantic.

Their "Bigfoot & Chips" deal for £2.80 is amazing, the sausage is at least twice the size of a normal jumbo sausage & really tasty and meaty (a bit soggy if battered though) and a great deal at £2.80! Well worth a trip out of the way & very nice crisp chips too! A1
