Piccolo Cafe in Wellingborough

They've changed hands recently and they now have fresh linen table cloths on all the inside tables - lovely. Also a fresh flower arrangement on each table - the extra touches make the difference. Food still great. Service attentive and quick. Keep up the good work.

I visited here today for lunch. There was a good choice on the menu from starters and mains to baguettes to jacket potatoes. I opted for a prawn mayo baguette which was really fresh. My friend had a bacon and cheese baguette. There was lots of filling, really tasty and good value. I'd definitely recommend here for a place for a light lunch or an evening meal.

Popped it to this quant cafe and found a nice sun trap cafe garden around the back. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty. The staff where friendly a nice place hidden away.

Came here for breakfast and will definitely be returning! Lovely friendly welcome and had the best omelette which was great value for money. Sat in the gorgeous garden and felt like we were in Italy rather than Wellingborough!!

We have lunch here a fair amount, staff lovely, food very good. They even have a little courtyard out back to sit and it almost feels like you are on holiday (when the weather is lovely). Would highly recommend!

Well worth popping in here if you want some proper home cooked style food. Breakfasts are yummy and the lunch menu and jacket potatoes are super tasty with generous portions.

Puntos: hermosa área para sentarse afuera, a un precio muy razonable de comida y personal amable. El servicio era rápido y el tocino baguette que opté por era de tamaño grande y están hechas con preciosa, fresca, pan crujiente.Puntos negativos: el café sólo necesitamos ser un poco más elegantemente presentados. Tonterías como una escalera grande que en el jardín junto con lo que parecía una lavadora jet. Además, el café se muestran paquetes de barato, no patatas fritas de marca que afectaba a la presentación un poco. Dentro de la cafetería también parecía muy tranquilo, un poco de música puede haber contribuido el ambiente.

Aquí hay muchos puntos. Ambiente limpio, personal amable, servicio rápido, zona de comedor exterior y buen café. Para mí, la falta de morcilla y, o croquetas de patata, el uso de pan básico para tostadas, la tomates tibio sólo tomó el extremo de lo perfecto desayuno.

This is a lovely little café with very friendly staff. The most surprising aspect is the garden which seems to be a little suntrap. It has a lovely water feature and gives you the impression of a café in Italy or Spain

Beautifully clean, extremely reasonable prices, varied selection of food to suits all tastes and budget. We sat out in the undercover patio area with the water feature, a little oasis. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Fairly average cafe. I only had a cuppa, which was fine, but there seems to be a variety of food on offer at reasonable prices.

Sshh don't tell anyone but this place is great! Family run lots of regular customers beautiful patio garden with huge water feature.Italian owner very good service. Salads are delicious as it the coffee. Great value too

My husband, 3-year-old daughter and I went here for lunch. They were really accommodating for her, and she enjoyed her beans-on-toast. My pasta was great (it should be, the man is Italian, he and all the staff are super friendly). And my husband enjoyed his sandwich. The best bit, after the food, is the decor: on the inside it feels like a small restaurant anywhere in Italy, and the garden in the back has a magnificent fountain, bellisima!

Great little place, food freshly cooked to order. Love the cooked breakfast. In warmer weather the garden at the back is a pretty little oasis where you can enjoy your meal or drink.

we ahev eaten here for lunch a few times now and have enjoyed our meals, the ladies are lovely ehre and teh food hot.

We have been going to Piccolos for a few years now and it's wonderful. The staff and owners are lovely, friendly and the service is great. Food is lovely and the tuna mayo sandwich is the best ever! My little girl would eat there every day given the option and the staff are fabulous with her. Good quality, good value and the terrace is a hidden gem in the summer.

Food is so nice, and the staff there are lovely, would bend over backwards! lovely coffee to! would recommand this cafe to anybody if your in town!
