The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving British food

Fui a tomar el té de la tarde y me fui sintiéndome decepcionado después de gastar $ 255 AUD. El servicio era pobre, esperó 45 minutos para la comida, el té se servía sin un colador de té y la comida era increíblemente agobiante. Me faltaban artículos después de solicitar una opción pescataria (esto se señaló cuando hice la reserva). Nada se nos explicó a la llegada, simplemente nos entregaron un menú, sin una palabra y luego se fueron. Sinceramente, toda la experiencia fue mala. Hubiera dado retroalimentación antes de irnos, pero el camarero simplemente me entregó la máquina de eftpos, me dio un pulgar hacia arriba y se fue sin una palabra. Ahorra tu dinero y vete a otro lado.

Staff here are very attentive, nice decor and ambience. Food was ok, deserts not worth bothering with in all honestly as they were not worth the price at all. I think I’d go back just for drinks and nibbles maybe, just not a full meal.

Did ask for a medium rare and came out medium. Still very tasty though. Diane was a fantastic and friendly waitress and very knowledgeable on the menu. Definitely coming back.

Great pub right across from the Radisson Blu Hotel. The haggis was outstanding. The pie of the day was also perfect. Service was super friendly and attentive. All in all, highly recommended.

The worst spent money on food in a long time. So surprised you have such a good ratings with quite not the cheapest Sunday roast, with places near by offers it cheaper. Well I made my choice after checking your ratings here, now want to help others now not to fall for it at all. Yorkshire pudding burned, overcooked as much as possible. Apparently you do it this way. Well If I want to eat overcooked I would stay at home and burn my toast, same taste. Go and check the Greyhound in Carlshalton or Antilope in Tooting Broadway for a Sunday Roast.

Nothing but 5 stars all around! The service was attentive, and our server was polite and chatty - even though it was a busy Friday night, we felt as if he had time to make sure we had everything we needed which is great. The food was amazing. I had the BBQ chicken skewers to start, and my partner had the squid. Both were fantastic. For main, I had the chicken snitzel and my partner the fish and chips. Again, great quality and big portions. We had a brilliant visit, and will be coming back shortly. Thank you!
