We visited here at the beginning of January after walking to find somewhere to eat on a cold Friday evening. The hotel was so festive both inside and out with a beautiful tree. We ordered our food and drinks at the bar and when they came we were pleasantly surprised. My little boy ordered a kids fish and chips, and it was a decent size with home made chips and mushy peas at only £4! My husband loved the fish cakes and our older son’s burger was huge with more homemade chips. The breakfast menu also looks lovely which we will try on our next visit.

Very friendly and professional service. Nice menu with lovely gluten free cake! Suggest popping in even if you’re not visiting the museum.

Pop in here now and again and I’m never disappointed with the food. This time I had a chicken Caesar salad which was divine. Had to wait a while for drinks to come though

What a wonderful time we had! Purchasing tickets was straightforward and easy, and we came for the evening events. It was a great experience choosing your own Pumpkins in such a vast field or dunking into the crates. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a huge variety of pumpkins and gourds before! While it wasn’t overwhelmingly spooky for Halloween, it had the perfect autumnal feel, with the firepits and haybales, and the entertainment, especially the corn cannon, was great fun. We’ll be returning in 2025, for certain!

We called for coffee and scones. A group of 4 ladies. The coffee was great but the demeanour and attitude of one of the ladies was dreadful. I don’t understand why folk who really don’t like people would choose to work in hospitality.

Random! Great for hot drinks. Food? While it looked lovely, the menu really didn’t fit what you’d expect. We were shown to one room that was so cramped. Menu was really not in keeping with what I felt the general public would want mid day during the week. It felt as though it was aiming for high end, but really not reaching it with the environment, and the staff while pleasant just added to the overall feeling of it being, I’m not sure how to put it, slightly off. I’ve visited before and it had a very different feel. I’m unsure, what it was, but I wouldn’t revisit. Drinks 100% revisit, food no.

Five of us called in here for breakfast last week, everyone enjoyed it and everyone left full. Would definitely go again.

Walking through Kemptown we stumbled across this place. Is very small but has a much needed and appreciated outside area. The barman was lovely & sitting there watching the world walk by in the sun enjoying cold alcoholic beverages was gorgeous.

Great venue. Fun bar staff and tasty drinks. Loved the decor too, very aesthetic and good for pics for insta! 📸 The only downside was the music was rather loud considering the amount of people in the venue when we entered at 7:30pm. However it got busier throughout the night and the music volume seemed normal for a bar.

The previous reviewer didn’t even try the food or even ask the staff to make anything. If they had of they would have known that they cater to you, the *Specials* are on the board. The menu in the morning isn’t extensive because you wouldn’t waste a whole load of food for no reason! During Covid they had to adapt and rearrange the whole establishment! The food is super, I mean we haven’t worked in the area for 5 years and still make the trip up on days off or when passing.. that’s how good the food and staff are. As it’s a sandwich bar, it isn’t a restaurant — it’s perfect for grab and go or there are four high tops available to eat on premise! Remember Covid happened and businesses adjusted to keep serving the public. The Pump House didn’t let us down the whole pandemic! Ignore this Negative Nelly who didn’t even try the food before complaining and clearly didn’t ask! Staff have always been accommodating too me and others I know, guess it’s all in your personality! I’m off for a full bap this morning and hopefully a Jammie joey.. served with a coffee! My OB is off for Scrambled Eggs and Toast! M

He estado aquí un par de veces para almorzar con mi padre, pero hoy fue una verdadera decepción. Cada uno nos dieron una tostada de jamón y queso y por el precio fue horrible para ser honesto. Apenas hay jamón y han dejado de dar una ensalada con él, así que es un pan tostado muy soso y calvo en un plato y nada más y eran unas 6 libras. Tengo que decir que el personal es todo encantador y el servicio es rápido (pero luego es seguro que será rápido cuando están amarrando un trozo diminuto de jamón en pan caliente). Realmente piensan que necesitan replantearse los precios o simplemente darle a la gente lo que pagan, no es difícil hacer un tostado de queso y jamón adecuado. He adjuntado fotos. Compartimos una olla de té y el pan tostado cada uno y fue £ 17. 80 . En general, una decepción.

We ate at the Thorpe Park Hotel Restaurant and Bar several times during our stay. The evening meals were very good, the Eggs Benedict at breakfast was excellent, and the Blackberry Crumble Cronut (in the Courtyard Café) was superb – although we did find the Courtyard Café a bit expensive, it is a lovely room. Lovey outside seating area.

Encantador pub cerca del Imperio perfecto para bebidas pre-teatro. Gran servicio y buen ambiente. Vale la pena visitarlo.

Me and my partner both ate here during our stay using a voucher of £50 that the hotel provided us with. The food was very good, tasty and we had a decent portion - we both said we would eat there again.
