We called for coffee and scones. A group of 4 ladies. The coffee was great but the demeanour and attitude of one of the ladies was dreadful. I don’t understand why folk who really don’t like people would choose to work in hospitality.

They are always kind and helpful when l have taken my dad in his wheelchair or my mum who needs help. They never rush us and the coffee, food, smoothies and service are always great.

It was closed (AGAIN) don’t know why they really opened this business because they have no idea. Let someone who knows the business rent it and I’m sure it could be good .

Good- Nice decor & lovely friendly staff. Smoothie was pleasant Bad- No rolls/cobs at 12.15 for lunch. So a member of staff was dispatched to the garage next door to get sad looking rolls on white bread. No salad , no crisps no coleslaw. Ugly The price for sad roll & smoothie Dont bother going there , no fan on a boiling hot day & limited food options

Spotted this on the way in to Ashbourne & stopped off for a coffee after Ashbourne park run - was a lovely coffee at a reasonable price & lovely interior. Look forward to popping in again.

Excellent, relaxing coffee shop. Easy parking outside the door, beautiful decor, courteous staff and amazing coffee! I've been here many times for coffee and cake with my husband but today I had a chicken salad cob which was fresh and delicious. The lovely homeware shop next door is an added bonus. Drove from Derby because the coffee is so good!

Appalling attitude from staff, mediocre coffee and major parking issues. There are so many options for better coffee within the town itself, so it's worth going further in rather than settling to drink in a petrol station. Avoid.

This place is amazing for coffee the vibe and space inside are beautiful. The furniture inside is amazing and has a wide variety of different-sized groups that you can go in. The iced vanilla latte is to die for and is the best-iced coffee you will ever get. I do think that there is a lack of chargers if you are wanting to go and get some work done - so make sure your laptop is fully charged. And the parking situation is a bit difficult and hard to get out of.

Called in for an ice cream this afternoon - salted caramel and a bubble gum. Overall quick service and tasted fine.

Charming Cafe it is. The coffee is very good. The photos of table laid with cutlery and napkins and lovely decor enticed us drive out to Monsal Head where we know the views are wonderful to have a light lunch. BUT We sat at a table and although the place was empty ( very rainy outside ) the staff didn’t acknowledge us, say hello even or explain it is counter service only. If you are expecting food, think again. No meals, No sandwiches, No baked potatoes or anything substantial, just a few cakes, savoury pies and sausage rolls Most disappointing. Wasted journey. WILL NOT VISIT AGAIN. Hassop Station nearby saved the day fortunately.

We were staying close by so popped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Service was a little slow initially and they did get my own order wrong, however the manager could not have been more apologetic so first class customer service. The food was lovely when it arrived and the coffee was great also.

great little bakery in the centre of wirksworth, spotlessly clean, and run by a friendly elderly couple, who make everything homemade. cakes, pastries, and homemade pies, and also coffeees, teas, and cold drinks.very reasonable prices, and just up the road from Wirksworth railway station. i always pop in for treats when i catch the train up from Duffield for the afternoon, recomended..! :-)

We recently stayed locally for two nights and ate at the Miner’s Arms both nights. Nic was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious on the first night but on bonfire night, we ordered the greedy Greek platter on Nic’s recommendation and it was excellent! Delicious food, really dog friendly and very welcoming. We’ll be back!
