Clare's Cafe in Conwy

Absolutely fantastic food, my partner had the steak pie special and said it was delicious. I had the gammon again was lovely and our son had the kids nuggets everything fresh and hot. Fantastic service and although busy very reasonable time frame. The only issue was that we found it on the last day otherwise we would have been a few times during our stay perfect little hidden gem off the main street to the fair, easily missed due to the hustle and bustle but well worth the diversion. Roll on August 2024 we will be back. Thanks guys!

4 of us had various breakfasts, the food was lovely, and prices were very reasonable, it was clean tidy and the food came fast enough even though it was busy. Its easy to see why this is a popular place wit locals (which is a good sign) and holiday makers alike. We will be back

We headed back here after visiting wales once again. I had the fish and chips, family had a range of pie, jacket spud and nuggets.Nice to to see the same people still own it, and service was as good as last time.Good to see them getting back to normal after Covid.

I went for a breakfast Sunday morning and came back home had the worst night of sleep. Went to school and kept throwing up, all that came out was the muchrooms and it’s terrible the coulor of it was disgusting

Me and my son found this great café in the middle of our holiday so decided to visit for our breakfast on our last day before traveling home it was busy but by the time I had placed the order and collected our drinks the food was arriving at our table. The food and the service are FANTASTIC and very good prices well done ladies keep up the good work and hope to see you next year.

On holiday with the family decided to give this place a try and it's brilliant very fussy eater and he ate everything so I had a break from cooking. The food is great, the place is clean, the portion sizes are value for money, highchair avaliable and I'm going to be regretting this review when I can no longer get my order in! They open from 9 till around 3.

We had fish chips and mushy peas tea and bread and butter my mouth is still watering excellent and afterwards jam rolypoly and custard

I dont do reviews much but this place is great value. 4 breakfasts, some cheese on toast, some bits for the kids, loads of brews and kids cup drinks. There were gang of us on the lookout for somewhere and seen here. Hadn't been before but visit Towyn regular and will be back. Great prices, quick service, and good choice for kids.

We happened to find this cafe by chance but very glad we did. The price is very reasonable and the portions are just right. All the family commented how good the food tasted and the atmosphere was very welcoming with friendly staff.

I’ve been here for breakfast while working and I’ve also been with the children each and every time the food has been perfect and up to standard my husband is very fussy and likes things cooked a certain way the cook didn’t mind and cooked everything to his standard A*

Seen signs for this place and went for breakfast about 10 am, plenty people in which is a good sign. Clear to see menu and breakfast special was the order of the day :) . Came quickly and with a smile,2 brekkies 2 teas, 4 toast, all less than a tenner. Will be back we usually eat round the corner but glad we came here.

Found this by chance so thought give it a shot. Had bacon sandwich for £2 what a bargain. Tea and coffee was grest value. Went back later for sunday roast and fish and chips. No complaints at all. The staff are great and very friendly . The roast dinner was £6.50 with a pudding . This is a great place for families with kids as the prices are so good, the food is also tasty unlike some cheaper cafes.

Good big breakfast sat outside in the sun, coffee tastes good, nice thick bacon definitely going again can’t see any reason why this place would get a bad review really nice staff clean & tidy 😊

Visited here each day over a 7 day period end of last season while 3 of us guys were exploring North Wales. Ate breakfast here most mornings and if not breakfast then did lunch. Asked for special ommlette for brekkie, not a problem she said. Hot, fresh and home cooked. Lunch we had mainly mainly sandwiches and chips or the odd fish and chips The fish batter was real crispy, and service was quick. would recommend, prices are very good.

we went here for breakfast and waited nearly an hour for it to be served, when it arrived it was cold the hash browns had burned onion on them, the black pudding wasnt cooked and the sausage where of cheap quality. the staff just plonked our plates on the table and didnt tell us we had to get our own cutlery. also we ordered a coffee and a tea and was served it in dirty stained cups . needless to say we didnt eat anything and will not be returning here.

En aquí con mi madre, mi pareja y mi nieto. La comida es deliciosa y los precios bien no cabe duda de que no vas a encontrar en ningún otro sitio que tiene comida muy barata pero adecuada sabroso. Además, el personal es muy agradable. Recomendaría este lugar a lo largo de todo el día. Pruébalo

If your in Towyn give them a try we were visiting from Scotland the next time we are in the area we will certainly eat here great place.

Yo vistited este café de la semana pasada y lo terrible que era un servicio, las chicas que trabaja allí era muy grosero y ni siquiera podía poner una sonrisa en su cara también no muy higiénico viendo el personal fumar fuera de y continuando como normal sin lavar las manos. Pedí pescado y patatas fritas y fue driping en greese y las patatas estaban frías. El personal que trabajaba con las redes, no pelo la próxima vez que será evitar este café.

We were told that this cafe was very nice but I must disagree hole heartedly my wife ordered a bacon and mushroom bap the bacon was to salty and under cooked and they just slapped on the wet mushrooms with out drying them and made the bap soggy and just taste like dirt my breakfast was not much better tomatoes were just chuck off hard end very cheap and nasty food and the place could do with a dam good clean so if you do go in there take some baby wipe you will need them

Fuimos para el desayuno aquí con la familia mientras visitan nuestro amigo, pero tremendo olor a quemado de cocina muy desagradable y así que decidimos ir a otro lugar, que era más limpieza y no olor de holocaustos.

Nos encontramos el año pasado claire; s preciosa casa cocinan comida agradable café limpio y no es caro si tienes niños

I went to this cafe today whilst being on holiday with the family, as I walked in I was not greated very pleasently, not one member of staff could smile,members of staff drinkng outside and inside not good for kids to be around and they are not licensed to have alcohol on the premises either! this is a cafe from hell I would not recormened to anyone and defiantly will not be going there agian! disgusting food and horrible people.

Good, fresh food and PROPER onion rings - none of that frozen mass produced rubbish. My wife really loved the omelette too!

Had much better breakfast elsewhere in Towyn and this cafe is very outdated and in need of refurbishment

We called in Clare's today for lunch. The menu was quite limited but for me this is a good thing as it meant the food was cooked fresh and home made. Not the usual mass produced pap you find all too often these days. The food was plentiful and tasty. The staff were polite and helpful. The cafe it's self was clean and tidy. We will definitely be back

We have been to Clares a few times now and we have no complaints.The food is alway prepared quickly and you get loads for your money. We fed a family of 7 for £25 including drinks. At prices like those and a plate full of grub what's not to like?! Defo be back. The icecream sundaes are lovely.

Sunday dinners are great, home made yorkie puds, meat pie and chips, (meat pie filling not an ounce of fat on it)Desserts home made cheesecake/apple pie/crumble etc....and all served up fast and friendly.Had breakfast here most days, and prices ares so reasonable.Would definitely go back every time.

Clare's cafe provides the best breakfast in North Wales. The decor is straight out of the sixties transport cafe with fixed bench seating and large bottles of sauce shared between tables and tea made in an old kettle using steam from an industrial geezer. This all adds to the experience but the best thing is the large oval plates crammed with bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, tomatoes, black pudding and toast. Don't miss this friendly and value for money venue.

Don't bother because they don't bother.Very basic premises.Cooked Breakfast is basic too.Tea or juice not included in price.More portions are available, mushrooms costing an extra 95 pence.Customer service very poor.There are many other Cafes in the area to choose from.

have just returned from a weekend in Towyn, as a family we eat at Claires, on 2 of the days.I have to comment as we find, and all levels was very good, friendly service, home cooked food, top marks for the roast dinner, and the trifle. Great prices a family friendly environment.

couldnt eat inside as had a really awful smell but little boy was thirsty so decided to risk it and sit outside. miserable young girl taking orders. breeakfast was actually well cooked so good marks for that, it was just completely ruined by fag break time next to us while we were still eating. no thanks as we left and took our own plates in for them. suprised if they last

ive been going to clares cafe now for over 10 years, never had a bad meal, its an old fashioned cafe, good food, at a good price,

had some really lovely food here,fantastic breakfast, and sunday roasts dinners and home made sweets apple pie,triffle,and apple and cinamon crumble, and at fantastic prices.

We came here three or four times. Nice simple food. I was a bit disappointed with a fish I had as there wasn't much fish in it. However the steak pie special is good value.

We went for lunch 2 had the fish which looked freshly battered i had the pie also very nice then the breakfast and kids meal were also good cost about £26 for 4 adults and a child with drinks

Clare's cafe is an excellent cafe good food and value for money. Staff were very helpfull.After eating in a few places in Towyn I found it to be the best place to eat. I went in a few other cafés earlier in the week and found other cafés the staff were quite rude and no patience. I would defiantly use Clare's cafe next time I am there in June and recommend to all my friends and family. Many thanks Clare see you in June. X.

We have had breakfast a few times at clares cafe and found it good value for money the food was hot and not greasy which is good coz I dont like greasy food we have tried a few cafes in towyn and found it the best its a friendly family run cafe and recommend you give it a try

Quick friendly service and food was lovely couldnt disagree more with the previous comment. I always choose clare's whilst in towyn and will continue to do so... U always get one n she must be it... nice clean cafe, n like this yrs new decor :-) would highly recommend.....

a great breakfast to start the day off you get plenty to keep you going for a few hours a nice clean place and quick service too just what you want when you are hungry

I can not dissagree strongly enough with mr jones review ,i have sampled most items on the menu and in my opinion everything was first class ,i personaly dine at clares cafe on a regular basis and will continue to do so

Only go here if you like terrible food. We had a fried breakfast here. The sausage was awful. I have never tasted sausage like it.I am pretty sure it was cooked in a vat of oil and not grilled or fried in a pan. Small portions and cold as well. The cafe smelled of burnt food which permeated my clothes and hair. Terrible.
