The Lilly in Conwy

A friend has just moved to Llandudno, which is just around the corner from The Lilly. It was our first time, and there were 5 of us. We had staters, mains, and desserts. We enjoyed everything we had, from bugers to muscles. Friendly staff, well presented and totally delicious. The views were so pretty too. I will be making many trips to The Lilly in the future. 😁😁

Lovely b&b with bar and restaurant right on West parade of Llandudno near the Orme. Cosy place with beer garden, perfect for drinking in the lovely sea views. Food was great, from tapas, to sharers and main meals, including Sunday roasts. The wine choice was good too. Slight walk (20 mins) into the centre of town, but there is a bus stop right outside.

Took a group of older folks for a day out to Llandudno , 11 of us had lunch at The Lilley. The food was excellent and the staff wonderful. Easy parking, lovely views .We will be visiting again. Would highly recommend.

Well presented. Rooms are very good and clean. Free on street parking. Town Centre approximately 15 walking & beech.

Had a southern fried chicken wrap fries and salad sat outside as the weather was ☀️ a lovely pub with great views of Llandudno 😁

Great stay ! Stayed here for two nights with my wife 17th /19th September 2024 . Great place to eat drink and stay . Fantastic scenery, lovely outside patio area which was bathed in sunshine where we had a drink from the bar which offers an excellent choice of drinks . Food from the menu was tasty and very well priced . Rooms were top drawer , clean tidy and quiet . Breakfast.... had all you wanted on offer and was piping hot . Adam was a really hardworking friendly host . Couldn't fault the place at all , great value for money. Will book there again when staying in beautiful Llandudno . Top tip .......book direct . 10/10 . Great place on the West shore facing the sea great to watch the sun set

Stopped here for a cuppa,after a walk Ordered cheese a biscuits. Biscuits were stale grapes looked like they'd been there for days. Cheese was OK. Not a good response when I asked to have fresh biscuits.

I can't comment on the rooms or meals as I only popped in for a drink. The inside lounge is comfortable and nicely decorated. The loos are clean. The staff are extremely professional and friendly. Talking to some of the other customers who had dined congratulated them on the quality of their meals, especially the mushrooms in toast. I will be going back for a meal on my next visit to Llandudno.

Beautiful location on the Bay. In the afternoon and evening sun on their terrace with a view. There is no service on the terrace. Go inside and take a beer outside.

We stayed for one night in the rooms and had a meal in the restaurant. The room was lovely overlooking the sea. The food was also very good and the staff were very nice and helpful It was just around the corner from the main town area as well. Would definitely visit again.

Before i start the place is really nice friendly staff exellent breakfast all very pleasant, however we stayed in room 4 last night 17/08 and all I can say is what a let down the bathroom was very glittery, the bathroom toilet seat broken. The room as you will see in the pictures was absolutely horrendous I didn't want to spoil our night away so stayed quiet but please sort this out as it spoiled a lovely night away. The wardrobe was very thick in dust baring in mind it was only 5 ft tall ish so you could clearly see the dirt the walls were clearly suffering from a damp issue plaster off all over the coving was rotted above the bathroom just really grim, please check before booking the rooms are maintained as i payed £120 for the night in a superior sea view room not happy.

We had 2 nights here the food was really nice and the bar restaurant area nice and appealing The room desperately needs updating the toilet seat was loose the shower was a pain to get warm water the shower tray had a big hole in the front and the shower doors didn't close properly because the runners were either broke or missing The bed was comfortable and the room well presented The WiFi didn't exist

Mediocre food, a bit tasteless, would not visit again. Very nice staff.

Stopped for a pint and some lunch for the kids. Nice location and very good service. Can't comment too much on the food as my partner and I shared some chunky chips but they were really good. The kids ate all their food (chicken goujons, chips and beans and tomato pasta) so top marks there. Location is great, away from the hustle of the main tourist parts of Llandudno with a kids park across the road and great views across to Puffin Island and Anglesey.

Stopped off for a lunch and a meal today(sunday) on way past coming home to South Coast. What can I say bar and waitresses were fault less as to the food we both has starters and roast pork Sunday lunch and have to say fantastic all fresh cooked not catered in. 100% recommended from me value of quantity and quantity keep good work up. I am that impressed I am going to rebook long weekend and stay even though its a 700 mile round trip.

The staff were great when we arrived in the evening. Had dinner in the brasserie, the burger was very good, as was the pizza. Good selection of beers and spirits. The room was large with a very unusual bathroom, great shower and a sea view Could have been a bit cleaner though. The gent running breakfast Saturday morning was efficient but not exactly cheerful or welcoming. The breakfast was pretty good, nice coffee and juice, but only one sausage and no choice of eggs was offered. Overall pretty good and I would go back and stay again.

Hotel bar opened to the public. Good sized area with log burner at one end of the bar, at the other end is the bar. Another room adjacent to it which was more like a lounge area. A few tap beers and one real ale available, descently priced. Staff were friendly and polite. Decorated out nicely, dog friendly too. Good visit.

Great location, comfortable room with lovely big canopy bed. Breakfast was delicious. Yes, the place needs redecorating in places, but bathroom and shower was good, which is important. We paid a reasonable price for our stay, we thought it very good value and would return should be come to Llandudno again.

Lovely medium sized hotel good food excellent range of drinks and very friendly staff ,lovely views overlooking the Conwy estuary on the quiet west shore side of Llandudno.

We had the miss-fortune of staying in July 2023. The only good thing about the hotel is it's location, everything else leaves a lot to be desired. This would appear to be a 'one man band operation'. We only ever saw one member of staff, a man with zero customer skills, who hardly talked to anyone. When he did, everything was an effort and he was rude. He was the receptionist, waiter, barman, downstairs cleaner, breakfast chief and person in charge. It said that the hotel was being renovated, but we never saw any builders on the premises and it looked as though nothing was actually being done. The 'barman' (& every other job) decided to shut the bar just after 10pm - when the bar was full with customers and to the surprise of all present. This was despite him saying earlier that he kept the bar open until all customers left. My partner went to the ladies toilets at 10pm to be shouted at by him saying the toilets were now shut and you would have to go to your room to use the toilet. He then left around 10.30pm without saying bye to anyone. So basically there were now no staff on the premises during the night. Breakfast was a chore to say the least. The coffee was empty and my partner asked for some more. She was greated to words such as, "I'm busy and you'll have to wait. I can't do everything". This was his reply to most questions raised. I summary, the hotel is obviously very run down and being operated on a shoe string budget, hence the lack of staff being present. Unless you want self service, I suggest you go elsewhere.

Nice little bar within a hotel. Only had a coffee. Cappuccino was in a mug, no saucer, no spoon and sugar not offered. Used a straw (they were on the bar) for hoovering up the foam. Decent coffee but staff not that attentive. Should have asked but they weren't around long enough to do so.

Stopped for a bite to eat and a beer with my family including the hound .. both staff on duty were very pleasant and helpful.food was delicious

Not worth the price we paid abs room was so cold we couldn't sleep it was 11.5 degrees so paid for 2 nights only stayed for one. Owner did not respond to my complaint. Lunch food was raw and breakfast average . Certainly not value for money and would not return.

I have been to the Lilly and also when it was the Sandringham for 20 years , my Aunty Stella sadly died this month so the family visited Wales and we all had rooms at the Lilly, 6 rooms in all. We also had the wake there and dinner in the evenings . The staff we saw Adam , Paul and Lee were excellent they need to get there pictures up on the wall and take some credit maybe not McDonalds style , Adam as Top Cat , Paul Mr Breakfast and Lee the unflappable Bar Men, I'm sure they all do other rolls but that is what I saw. Thank you to them and also the backroom staff , at our sad time it is a great place to stay all year round.

Arrived early for check in so had lunch first, the menu was good and varied and food was lovely. Check in was smooth, and the staff very friendly, it's explained at check in that since covid they no longer go in to clean the rooms while you're there but if there's anything you need like clean towels/toilet paper to just let them know and this isn't something that bothered us at all. Room was lovely and clean and had a fabulous sea view. Breakfast was freshly cooked every morning and served with a friendly smile. Couldn't fault this hotel and the staff and really enjoyed our stay here, would definitely stay here again.

We picked this hotel because its on the west side shore for a change and so glad we did. Lovely place loved our bedroom and bed. The view was amazing... A very comfortable night and we loved the sparkling shower room.We had a evening meal before going to the opera which was hot tasty a good choice of menu and good serving Staff great and helpful would definatly reccomend

Stayed here for 2 nights as a get away for 1st year anniversary, unfortunatley room was way below standard for money we paid, cobwebs on walls,hole in wall, filler all in door frame, broken shower tray, missing lights in bathroom ceiling, broken toilet seat, old toilet roll left behind blinds, collapsed chair for dressing table filthy windows in room and in guest breakfast area, resteraunt looked good and its quiete road only good things i can say, needs revamping urgently as we seen alot better for the price surrounding this place

We stayed friday night for a theatre trip. The room was immaculate with everything you needed. Breakfast was plentiful and yum. One minor point picture windows in the restaurant need attention to enjoy the lovely view.

Just returned from a 3 night stay we booked 2 rooms as visited with family. One of the rooms was very bright and light and modern obviously had been refurbished. The other room was mis matched, paper coming off walls and missing lightbulbs from the lights also curtains coming off rail. We were told on arrival that since covid no one goes into the rooms to change towels, linen or clean the room and although I dont expect clean towels daily I do expect my bathroom to be cleaned. I felt the entrance to what is the reception and other areas were very dark and dingy and in need of a refurb.I was very disappointed in our room as the photos looked lovely and our room definately didn’t look anything like the photos. No hot water. I felt there was a shortage of staff and it showed. A positive was the cooked breakfast it was hot and fresh with good produce. I also felt that staff needed some customer service training.

we've just come back from a nights stay at the Lilly. The room was spotless, the staff couldn't help you enough would highly recommend this place,will be staying here again .

My husband and I spent two weeks here in August and we had a wonderful time. The hotel itself is in the perfect location on the West shore with a lovely beach which was not nearly as crowded as the main beach in Llandudno (which is a 10-15 minute walk away). There was always plenty of free parking and we often sat on the outside terrace of the hotel overlooking the beach at the end of the day with a drink bought from the bar. Without exception, we found all of the staff at the hotel friendly, welcoming and helpful. There was plenty of space and residents had their own dining room and there was also a large restaurant and bar where other meals could be taken. It is obvious that there is still work being undertaken to expand the facilities and we could see that there is in progress what promises to be a really nice residents' lounge being decorated. This did not, however, impact on our stay at all. We had a superior room with a sea view and it really was lovely. It is true to say that the decor, though pleasant, could have done with a bit of a refurb. However this did not matter to us as everything was extremely clean, everything worked as it should; and the view from our bedroom window was astounding. It was a large room with plenty of space for two weeks' clothes and we were able to sit at a little table by the window on two easy chairs to admire the view on rainy days. The breakfast was very good indeed, with the usual cereals and juice, fruit, yogurts and pastries and the hot breakfast was cooked to order and served hot and nicely cooked. You, could, if you wanted, have all your meals at the hotel as snacks were served during the day as well as full meals. We had the Sunday Roast twice and it was really good. All together we had an excellent stay and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Lilly Restaurant with Rooms for 2 nights. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We had breakfast and our evening meals at the Lilly and they were all excellent. This was our first visit to Llandudno and we'll definitely be back. The Lilly is situated opposite the west shore and only had to cross the road to get to the sea. It was perfectly positioned to walk or drive across to the east shore and the busier side of the town.

We called in during a walk for a light lunch and a drink. We ate outside, but were constantly interrupted by eager birds looking for food.
