The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving British food

Its worth saying that we were five hungry people on their first trip to Stirling. The people who work here were SO friendly, looked after our every need. Especially Javaid and Haroon When they found out we were also Muslim, not only did we get the proper reassurance that their food was halal but they also invited us back after they had closed to serve us traditional (Pure milk - no water) Pakistani tea - served with fresh cream and also some chocolates. The tea was amazing and provided free as we were their guests. The food we bought was very good value for the quantity and quality at the price. Great place and food. Can’t believe it is ranked so low in Stirling on TA. Hopefully this review will reassure Muslim travellers in particular if looking for somewhere tasty, guaranteed halal and great service. You get my vote!

Stopped for lunch on Friday. Lovely food, classic British fish & chips. Good selection of hot sandwiches too. Quick, friendly service.

I had a cup of Double Espresso from this lovely coffee stand. It was great and woke me up after my sleepy haircut session. The price was reasonable at 1.80 GBP.

The little chippy opened under new ownership about 4 months ago. Since then my wife and i have been buying our Fish & Chips it started with just once e week, but they are so lovely we have them a minimum of twice e week somtimes more. The fish is the best quality and it is fried and presented beautifully in a real y good quality batter. These are the best fish and chips i have ever tasted. Once you have been here you will never go anywhere else for your fish.Do youself a favour try them.

Better than any Carvery I've had more like a traditional home cooked roast dinner with locally grown vegetables

I guess all supermarket cafes are much the same, which was my view until today. Yes, the food is tasty (they do an outstanding breakfast) and ample portions are served, but I noticed a great little touch I haven't seen in any other cafes of the same sort. Queues at the till can be a tad long, especially at peak times (you can't keep a good thing secret for long) and I'm not going to make any bones about it - people of a certain age need to rest their legs on occasions, and I noticed just to the side of the till some thoughtful person has placed a chair for just such a situation., and it's not there just for show. If the need arises, you can rest there until it is your turn, and without losing your place in the line. Thank you Morrisons from a grateful customer.

Amazing food and even better company! The leg of lamb fell off the bone and the chicken leg was so flavourful. Nice to have a wheelchair accessible restaurant in Boston Spa, that serves great food.

Lovely views, attentive staff, very relaxing and the black swans are adorable. Nice walk around the lake and then picnic on thelake grounds

Bien decorado para que la Navidad se sienta muy festiva. Pedí la cena de Navidad, que fue preciosa. Sé que solo es octubre, pero espero que sea la primera de muchas. Definitivamente regresaré y traeré a mi hijo, ya que tiene algo de magia navideña que le encantará. No pude probar los cócteles, pero la señora de la otra mesa pidió uno y se veía increíble, definitivamente lo probará en la próxima visita.

Lovely meal plus lovely staff. The room was well presented and clean, a must go place to eat. I know when the club goes back to normal you will be still be able to enjoy a good meal here.

Had two perfect kebabs from here on Saturday night 6 March . I had land doner and kofta , my wife had lamb doner and chicken shish . Definitely recommend and will definitely re-order👍👍
