Vegetarian food was cross contaminated. Mine had a distinctly fishy taste. I tried the pick and mix daily menu. It instagrams well, but it was tasteless, unexciting and I don't understand the concept of a few chopped vegetables, tofu and a few slices of chilli. I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants in the past, I'm unsure with the fork and spoon only cutlery just offered here with big vegetable chunks and nothing to cut it with. Either offer a knife or chop the vegetables and other things smaller. The sticky rice was the highlight of the meal. Seating is a little uncomfortable and the fried tofu (top left) is likely bought from a packet or just tastes super similar. Service was very fast and polite. Not recommended.

The restaurant was empty apart from one table but it still took nearly 10 mins to get seated. The food was definitely not to my taste or comparable to other Nepalese food I have eaten. The Momo starter was good and flavourful, but the curry was split and watery and didn't taste great so it wasn't eaten. The only good thing was they did not bill me for the curry

Some of the best Thai food I’ve had, easily the best coconut rice. Good quick service, nice decor, comfortable restaurant. The drinks selection is okay but would be nice to see more authentic soft drinks like Thai iced tea, bubble tea, lychee and mango juice.

This is a charming restaurant serving great food in the centre of Oxted, a stone's throw from the station. We went on a Sunday for the buffet. The starters are served at your table and are beautifully presented and delicious. When we were ready for mains we were given a plate each to serve ourselves from the buffet as many times as we could manage. The selection is varied including chicken, beef and lamb curries and vegetarian options. There is also rice and noodles. The unique style of naan bread is served at your table to mop up the delicious curry sauces. The wine selection is varied and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient. The Ghurka Kitchen is open all say so you can eat when you choose. I can't fault it.

Thank you so much for a wonderful meal celebrating my brother and sister in laws’ wedding anniversary! The food was delicious, and you were so kind and attentive. We all had a fabulous time and look forward to coming back next time we visit them in Bristol.

I'm not keen. Rubbish on floor behind table, folded bits of csrd. Stained tablecloth, understandable but not a great look. Starter - chicken tikka was unexpected with a lot of sauce but tasted good. Main - chicken balti, decent enough. Side - vegetable balti looked like the sag aloo but with tesco frozen peas, carrots and sweetcorn chucked on the top. I tasted it, it tasted of nothing. I wanted it off the table it looked so unappetising. I was expecting an onion bhaji not vegetable sag aloo. Staff - friendly, helpful. Restaurant small venue. It was busy all night so someone is enjoying it. Personally I won't choose to go back, but if someone else booked it I wouldn't cause a fuss. So a score of three. Disappointing but there's much worse out there.
