Fantastic quality food. Absolutely lovely!

Felt the quality of the food was not as good as previous for example chicken and lamb not tender very watery chutney tray. Delivery driver must have been in a rush as was going back up drive before I got to the door

Really good Indian food. Recommended.

Quick friendly delivery. Order very well packaged, all correct & piping hot. Sides didn’t wow, a bit undercooked & some flavours weren’t to my personal taste, but good mains. Some free popadoms. Big portions and plenty of meat. 👍🏻

The veggie curry was very very watery I have never that before from saffron my favourite curry house

It used to be our favourite take away spot but they went downhill.... Prices went up, portions became smaller, some our favourite dishes have changed (they don't taste as good as they used to). Unfortunately we will not be using them again

Probably the worst Indian meal I have had. I ordered the Special Balti in which the meat were dried pieces put into a very watery curry sauce with hardly any flavour at all. My friends Chicken Madras was the same and we could only eat half of it.

We put the wrong address for delivery and the restaurant was so helpful at redirecting it! The food was fantastic and great value!

The food is normally lovely use the restaurant a lot but I had family over was a big order and I was so embarrassed the food was so cold but with waiting for the time it came wasn’t happy also there nan was burnt so disappointed a lot this time 🥺

usually Fantastic, not quite up to that standard tonight, however still very good, excellent chicken, spices perhaps not cooked the same as they usually are, something not as beautiful as it normally is.

Superb food as ever, the food arrived lovely and hot, everything was fresh and to top it off a very friendly delivery driver.

Both lots of the chips were cold also one of the butter chicken was cold

Excellent food. Mango chicken was surprisingly good. Slightly more expensive than some others on Just Eat but has maintained quality and no shrinkflation on quantity.

Lovely restaurant and staff but food overpriced and £5.50 for rice to go with a meal and around a fiver for a naan bread is nothing but extortionate plus the drinks were also overpriced

Was very much looking forward to my fave takeaway, the Korma was different this time, not sure if they changed the recipe or just a different cook, also the quality of chicken wasn’t upto scratch, some dark patches as rather dry, shame, was really looking forward to it!

Unfortunately tonight the taste was awful and meat hard. Very dissapointed as I paid for it and could not eat that. It used to be good. Sad. Might need to find a new curry place

Good food as always. But another price increase! Since last month, all main dishes have gone up by £1 each, sides and rice by 50p. Also not generous with poppadoms, £40 worth of food with 3 mains comes with 2 poppadoms only.

Unfortunately the chicken Dansak we ordered was very disappointing. It was substandard, not the usual quality, taste or authenticity it normally is. Never have had a bad one before. Don’t know why it was like this today.

Continues to be the tastiest Indian takeaway we can find in Northampton. Tried the set meal for 2 which was lovely, there was a lot of food and we couldn't manage it all! The high prices are the only off putting thing about saffron takeaway but the online discounts do help take the edge off the bill.

Food was an hour late, no update or apology from driver or restaurant, the restaurant then lied to me and said the driver had tried to contact me when he hadn’t.

The madras tasted watery, their wasn't much flavor. The Korma likewise tasted bland, and it had way to much food coloring in it. The quality of the chicken was good though. Very standard will return to my usual resturant instead.

Don’t always order from saffron due to the price. Quality usually demands the expensive costs. Not on this occasion, food tasted ok but the sauce on the madras was very watery, will stick with local suppliers not worth the extra cost

Delivery time was okay, arrived within the extended time. Order was all correct and well packaged. The 2 person meal deal is good value for money, good sized portions and came with extra popadoms. Food wasn’t super wow but it was all okay

Have eaten here a lot of times and when I received a text message from them offering me 40% off for a summer offer until September for take away orders if I ordered direct from them, I was really happy. I called up to place my order only to be told that they would not deliver. So then I said I would come to collect my order and they told me that they would not give me the discount if I came to collect it! I cannot believe that they would send out promotional texts that fill up my inbox, and yet refuse to honour them! I never like to leave reviews like this, but I felt this was really poor.

After an hour and half wait we received or cold food to look in the bag and the curries had poured out everywhere and covered Everything all the food was covered in the sauce and mixed in!

Meat was very chewy on its own and could not be eaten so thrown away rice was partly cooked so not a good experience bit poorly today.

Great dansak, thick, spicy, sweet and good quality chicken. The platter was lovely, fresh salad, keema naan was good too but a bit stodgy round the edges. Will order again.

Had a really lovely time having pre-theatre dinner at Saffron. The food was excellent and the service top notch. The staff were fun and friendly as well as being efficient and professional. The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxing and not too noisy, even when its busy. Will definitely go back.

Onion bahji’s were soggy from being in tin container. Both curries were bland. Nice bits of chicken in my curry. Onion salad was literally just onion whereas I’m used to it being mixed with other salad items. Garlic naan was nice. I wouldn’t order from here again personally

Dining at Saffron Restaurant in Northampton was an exceptional experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the food is a delightful reflection of authentic Bangladeshi cuisine. A special mention goes to Rana Rahman, who looked after us wonderfully. His knowledgeable recommendations and attentive service made our visit even more memorable. Overall, Saffron offers delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone in Northampton looking for a great meal. We will definitely be back!

My mango curry was awful, the sauce was runny and the chicken was dry and overcooked. Will not be buying again from here.

vegetable biryani was delicious, side curry was a little too spicy for me.

tasteless meat and chicken. fee of them burned and the burned ones was the only taste I had a feel off in that meal. Thank you. don't think will repeat that experience again
