The rice and chips were just a little under cooked. Other than that it was perfect

Pakora batter was soggy and under cooked. One Pakora was just batter and no chicken. Nagga chilli curry was not very hot only like a Madras and is the hottest I have found here. Quality is going down. Salad was again not very fresh.

The chicken tonight was perfect!! The Balti was not as hot as Id have liked for a medium, still enjoyable but definitely lacked any kind of heat, more of a mild. Peshwari was lovely!

the packaging and quality plus quantity looked like it was provided by another provider. as not the same as what we expected. would be nice to be told if not provided in house

Waited 2 hours for our food, rang twice go check up on it and got told it was out for delivery. 2 hours later we rang again and they still hadn’t sent it out. After arguing with me they sent the food.

ordered many times, still tasted good but arrived cold.

Love Saffrons. Been having few years now. Great taste plenty of variety. Great value for money.

Superb service and entertainment by Rana the maitre d and his service team. Always delicious food, fresh and good quality. I recommend a visit if you haven’t been before. Located in a quiet street of Northampton town centre. A hidden gem. Lovely friendly atmosphere, they always make us feel welcome.

this was a very nice meal delicious curry but the samosas were very small for the price. you should get 4 for £5.50 instead of 2 as they are so small

Driver gave our order to the wrong person so we had to wait 45 minutes for our order to come correct. Would have been nice goodwill gesture for the restaurant to have put some ‘freebies’ and I would have forgotten it but the restaurant did the bare minimum to fix it . food is ok but not great service so due to this I won’t be ordering again after tonight .

Felt the quality of the food was not as good as previous for example chicken and lamb not tender very watery chutney tray. Delivery driver must have been in a rush as was going back up drive before I got to the door

Quick friendly delivery. Order very well packaged, all correct & piping hot. Sides didn’t wow, a bit undercooked & some flavours weren’t to my personal taste, but good mains. Some free popadoms. Big portions and plenty of meat. 👍🏻

It used to be our favourite take away spot but they went downhill.... Prices went up, portions became smaller, some our favourite dishes have changed (they don't taste as good as they used to). Unfortunately we will not be using them again

Probably the worst Indian meal I have had. I ordered the Special Balti in which the meat were dried pieces put into a very watery curry sauce with hardly any flavour at all. My friends Chicken Madras was the same and we could only eat half of it.

We put the wrong address for delivery and the restaurant was so helpful at redirecting it! The food was fantastic and great value!

The food is normally lovely use the restaurant a lot but I had family over was a big order and I was so embarrassed the food was so cold but with waiting for the time it came wasn’t happy also there nan was burnt so disappointed a lot this time 🥺

usually Fantastic, not quite up to that standard tonight, however still very good, excellent chicken, spices perhaps not cooked the same as they usually are, something not as beautiful as it normally is.

Superb food as ever, the food arrived lovely and hot, everything was fresh and to top it off a very friendly delivery driver.

We booked for Christmas Day, a family of six. We have been here before on Christmas Day and had an excellent meal unfortunately I cannot say the same this year. We returned a starter as it was stone cold, the others were just warm. The chicken was very dry and rubbery. Main courses came out very quickly after the starters, a little too quickly! None of them were great, just ordinary. Extremely disappointed especially as we’d told family members how good it was last year.

We visited after Christmas with family and the food was brilliant, the service was brilliant and it was a great atmosphere. Shout out to Rana Rahman who made things extra special.

Order said it was for out for delivery 50 mins before it actually arrived. We did the message requesting a text message for confirmation of updated expected time. No message received.

Excellent food. Mango chicken was surprisingly good. Slightly more expensive than some others on Just Eat but has maintained quality and no shrinkflation on quantity.

Lovely restaurant and staff but food overpriced and £5.50 for rice to go with a meal and around a fiver for a naan bread is nothing but extortionate plus the drinks were also overpriced

Was very much looking forward to my fave takeaway, the Korma was different this time, not sure if they changed the recipe or just a different cook, also the quality of chicken wasn’t upto scratch, some dark patches as rather dry, shame, was really looking forward to it!

Unfortunately tonight the taste was awful and meat hard. Very dissapointed as I paid for it and could not eat that. It used to be good. Sad. Might need to find a new curry place

Good food as always. But another price increase! Since last month, all main dishes have gone up by £1 each, sides and rice by 50p. Also not generous with poppadoms, £40 worth of food with 3 mains comes with 2 poppadoms only.

Continues to be the tastiest Indian takeaway we can find in Northampton. Tried the set meal for 2 which was lovely, there was a lot of food and we couldn't manage it all! The high prices are the only off putting thing about saffron takeaway but the online discounts do help take the edge off the bill.

Unfortunately the chicken Dansak we ordered was very disappointing. It was substandard, not the usual quality, taste or authenticity it normally is. Never have had a bad one before. Don’t know why it was like this today.

Food was an hour late, no update or apology from driver or restaurant, the restaurant then lied to me and said the driver had tried to contact me when he hadn’t.

The madras tasted watery, their wasn't much flavor. The Korma likewise tasted bland, and it had way to much food coloring in it. The quality of the chicken was good though. Very standard will return to my usual resturant instead.

Don’t always order from saffron due to the price. Quality usually demands the expensive costs. Not on this occasion, food tasted ok but the sauce on the madras was very watery, will stick with local suppliers not worth the extra cost

Delivery time was okay, arrived within the extended time. Order was all correct and well packaged. The 2 person meal deal is good value for money, good sized portions and came with extra popadoms. Food wasn’t super wow but it was all okay

Food was a little late. Driver called to let us know. No problem at all & appreciated the call. Food was beautiful, naan bread especially so wonderful & food pipping hot, delicious.

Have eaten here a lot of times and when I received a text message from them offering me 40% off for a summer offer until September for take away orders if I ordered direct from them, I was really happy. I called up to place my order only to be told that they would not deliver. So then I said I would come to collect my order and they told me that they would not give me the discount if I came to collect it! I cannot believe that they would send out promotional texts that fill up my inbox, and yet refuse to honour them! I never like to leave reviews like this, but I felt this was really poor.

After an hour and half wait we received or cold food to look in the bag and the curries had poured out everywhere and covered Everything all the food was covered in the sauce and mixed in!

Butter chicken was way too sweet and the chicken itself tasted rubbery :(

Meat was very chewy on its own and could not be eaten so thrown away rice was partly cooked so not a good experience bit poorly today.
