BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT ever!! Food is delicious, servings are generous ! I always order from this restaurant, worth every penny :)

Dropped by with my wife for an early dinner on Friday after being out at Purley Way. Started with Papadoms with the nicest Cucumber Raita I have ever had. For mains, I went for Chicken Balti and my wife had Lamb Sag. We accompanied these with Lemon Rice, Aubergine Bhaji and Plain Nan. Flavouring was superb and everything was cooked to perfection. I really nice meal to have on the way home.

I try nepales priyani first time ........omg how can I explaining its still yummy in my tongue ...... awesome and good customer service as well ..... tq guys hereafter I will see u often 😊 .....

This place is a must if you've never tried it. I can honestly say it's by far the best Indian food by miles. Cheaper than anyone but way way better. Highly recommended

1st time ordering from here as it was highly recommended to us from friends. Absolutely amazing! Tasty hot fresh and so bloody enjoyable! With out a shadow of a doubt we will be using from now on ! Probably the best Indian takeaway I've had in years !

Been here numerous times of late and have to say it's my new favourite Indian restaurant. Me and the missus both love the food and quality service provided. Only gripe is the decor is lacking a little character and looks to have been attacked with a cheap bottle of off white paint. Will be back this weekend for my birthday ruby and cannot wait! Thank you to all involved.

Tasty enough food, but portions felt very small - chicken curry had only six chunks of chicken in, a rip-off for more than £9. Wouldn’t order here again.

We eat here regularly and get the take away even more regularly, lovely staff and quick service. Wouldn't even think to consider another Indian in beckenham. Have been ordering since 2008 and it has never once been bad - always blown away with how fresh and tasty it is! 10/10

We have only had takeaway from Kathmandu Masala so we can’t rate the atmosphere in the restaurant, but if it’s anything like their food and service, it gets 5 stars! This is by far the best Indian food we’ve tasted; authentic spicing, a varied and diverse menu, including some amazing Nepalese specials. There are no garish sauces, blended so smooth you can’t tell what’s in them, at Kathmandu you get deeply coloured and lightly textured sauces with succulent meat, perfectly cooked rice and wonderfully flavoured side dishes. The Rara chicken is super hot but absolutely amazing, the King Prawn Puri starter has a sweet and sour tang and the Sag Aloo is packed with beautifully spiced spinach and soft potatoes. The service is first rate, nothing is ever too much trouble, and if you order online you get a 15% discount! We can’t recommend this place enough, best food in Beckenham without question!!

Lamb biryani was mild and very good. Tandoori chicken starter very small but ok. Squid starter was just a few small tasteless pieces.

Just like a previous reviewer, I’ve walked past this place so many times. So glad I finally came in, brought my son, and we had a delicious meal. Guys inside are lovely, service is great, and the food was tasty and well priced. 110 percent recommended, we will be back!

A good restaurant for an Indian meal. The menu is varied and appeals to most tastes, but if what you are looking for is not there tell the waiter and they'll produce something that you are looking for. It is always a busy restaurant, which is a good sign, and you usually have to book to get a table.

I have walked past this restaurant so many times and always wanted to come in. Today we tried it and it was absolutely beautiful the food was so flavourful and cooked to absolute perfection and the waiters were so lovely. We will definitely be back. Thank you

We ordered aloo chat and it had only aloo in it. Don’t except a north indian type of chaat. For north indian pallet the taste wasn’t good either.

Honestly one of the best curry houses I’ve eaten from. So many specialty dishes that are all to die for.

Went here for the first time in years had the Nepalese byrani the food was disappointing it was a mix of chicken, lamb and one prawn. The meal itself was very expensive for what it was nothing in the meal was special. The restaurant was almost empty was charged a 10% service charge which took the meal for 4 items plus drinks to almost £60 for two people which. I am sorry to say if resturants continue to charge ridiculous prices for bland food then don't be suprised to go out of buisness if i ordered at home could have saved the 10% service charge and had a nicer experience.

Rice: good. Naan: good. Mushroom bhaji: good. My companion enjoyed his biryani. My Chicken Pathia was disappointing though, as it just tasted 'tomatoey', lacking the distinctive sweet and sour flavour of a good pathia. It wasn't terrible, but it was just missing something.

We love the food in this restaurant, the flavors reminds us of India and the staff us very friendly. Prices are also pretty good for the quality you get

Excellent food & good delivery service

Had really high hopes for this place based on their great reviews! However, our experience was a mixed bag. Started off with fresh papadums. Our mixed starter was delightful as were the samosas! For main their lamb shank is so tender and juicy. However, our lamb biriyani was incredibly tough and the rice didn’t seem fresh. The chicken in the korma was rubbery and bland. The keema naan barely had any filling. Since most of the main fell short, we left feeling disappointed. Also, we found the lights to be quite white and bright which made the environment quite sterile.

I honestly found the best place to have Indian/Nepalese takeaways. After so many drama to find a good Indian food around Bromley, this is outstanding! The chicken and lamb is tender, flavourful and just hit the spot for confort food. KUDOS GUYS!!!

Finally after few months of searching I have found an amazing Indian restaurant in the area. Having Nepalese friends I know a good curry and what can I say, Kathmandu Masala's veggie curry is probably the best I have ever had! Just wow. Smooth and friendly service too. I also noticed we were given a new rice box when asking to take the food leftovers home. Superstars!! I will be returning very soon

Had a takeaway, my food was delicious, ordered way too much but was class the next day, I had both the garlic chilli chicken and a green curry that I can't remember the name of but had mint, coriander and green chillies which could've been spicier but was amazing, the mrs had a paneer dish with Bombay aloo and saag paneer which she said was lovely, this has become our regular and can recommend highly over other local places.

Usually the food from Kathmandu is exceptional, however this time I was quite disappointed. The Tandoori Chicken was really dry, as if it was cooked the day before and just heated up in a microwave, and the lamb Sekuwa was chewy and tasteless. I ended up leaving most. The king prawn puri was tasty at least.

Can't comment on atmosphere as I was only collecting a takeaway. However, the food was very good indeed and was ready in exactly the time I was quoted. Friendly and helpful staff.

Spent £70 on a curry and really disappointed. One of the mains was wrong- The tikka masala was not tikka Masala was more a chicken curry! One of the other mains had these weird holes in the chicken which were really hard and chewy. Really put us off our meal. Naans we’re cold. Had a lovely meal at the restaurant a few weeks back so thought we’d get a take away but we won’t be again.

Maybe bigger or more samos is the plan next time! Good stuff though. Easily two meals worth. :)

Good local 'Indian' restaurant with additional Nepali dishes, pleasant staff, managed to park outside.
