Great food,.good wine selection, waitress was very friendly. The place is lovely inside

This was not a planned visit but ended up being perfect! Was booked into the Indian opposite who let us down. This restaurant stepped in at very short notice and saved the day. Excellent Thai food ( as good if not better than anything I have eaten in Thailand) excellent service,quick and polite, a few words of Thai maybe helped, great ambience, just GREAT! We had the buffet B, £33.80 per head and so much food. Major downside, I live 54 miles away so it cannot become my new favourite local !!

Although an old building they have maintained it really well and everywhere was very clean. Love all the interesting artefacts and decor with excellent service from staff in traditional outfits. Nice relaxing music in the background. Amazing price for 2 course lunch £13.95 especially for Chester 👏.

Very friendly staff and great food

So arrived at 7.30 taken to table didn't have anything explained what to do got our drinks there was a large table who was sat with us around the grill they were mainly focusing on them Which they will sp when got round to ordering we was straight away told order £59.95 a Head Buffett I can't eat that much food so just wanted a main starter I ordered scallops £27,95 husband fillet beef !£29 so you get potatoes and rice veg with meal which is good we were then kind of talked into buying a stater to be told will be a wait for main so had no choice really ordered chicken satay between us they arrived cold and chewy no check bk done 5 chefs just stood round watching you felt uncomfortable so the main gets cooked in front of you ther wasn't much hype of the chefs at all I thought they was all the fun of it but hey 🤷‍♀️the scallops were ok cooked in garlic butter don't think worth the price fillet beef nice so I was grateful for the birthday and anniversary celebration by staff .. we had to ask for bill 5 times they kept asking us to order more food drinks etc but didn't want any so the bill arrives with extra added onto the bill and £12 service charge took it off didn't feel the service justified it then we just left so at 11pm my mobile went of was shocked to hear it was the restaurant staff she was asking questions what language was we etc so strange and late she said that the customers in the restaurant had all been overcharged and to come bk the restaurant now to see manager 😳😳😳no I'm in. Bed love then puts phone down found that disgusting so the hype we was told of this restaurant was a big dissapointment

Two great restaurants in one venue. The Siam Thai restaurant is on the second floor and the Teppan-yaki Restaurant is on the main floor. We went upstairs for Thai food and were not disappointed. We were seated without a reservation. We were worried as it was prime dinner time but there are lots of tables. Drink orders were taken as we reviewed the menu. The entrees arrived and we thoroughly enjoyed all of our food, with one in our party declaring it “the best Chicken Pad Thai” she’s ever had. The portions were healthy and the food great. Pricing was reasonable. There are stairs to the second floor but a lift is available. We would return here again if ever in Chester.

Just spent a few days in Chester and dined at the restaurant on our first night (Monday) I have mobility problems and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We chose the Thai section which was on the top floor and was ushered to the lift and then politely shown to a table by the window. We ordered a set banquet which was promptly served. It was hot and extremely tasty. Plenty of prawns and other meats. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

We always like visiting this restaurant as we know the food will be good. We've been here quite a few times now & whilst it always gets busy, as long as you book in advance or get there early enough, you will get a table. I had the chicken satay skewers to start with - one of my faves!! Then I had the massaman curry for main course. I haven't had that one for a while but talk about tasty & plenty of it as well, awesome meal. Some of our friends had the crispy duck, barbecue ribs, Thai green curry, chicken pad thai etc & nothing disappointed. The only, small, letdown, was the time waiting to get served - maybe they were short staffed ? Otherwise I would highly recommend visiting here as the food is always amazing. Until next time....

Fantastic Teppanyaki dining experience! Myself and partner thoroughly enjoyed the emperor set menu, the chefs threw an excellent show & delivered delicious, mouthwatering food 😋 The waiting staff were also polite and efficient throughout. I was more than happy to pay the prices and optional service charge for the experience Siam offers. As my partner's first teppanyaki experience she has very high expectations for the next one!

Better than any Thai I’ve tried in London. Fabulous restaurant

In a short visit to Chester we ate at Siam twice! One evening we had Thai (upstairs), and on our last day we had Japanese teppanyaki for lunch. Both meals were very good with friendly service. The restaurant is conveniently located near the railway station.

I mean! Every celebration of my life is linked to Siam. It’s the best. Just had the tastiest lab pla of my life. Super spicy and yum! Their sushi is the best. Having eaten in more than 100 restaurants I return to them every month.

Fun experience, with friendly staff and great food

One of our favourite Chester restaurants (upstairs at the Thai, never tried the Teppanyaki downstairs). Food is always excellent - highly recommend the Lamb Massaman - and the early evening menu is great value. Well worth a visit.

The Tepanyaki here is pretty good, but could very easily be much better. The "Siam" potatoes were a complete waste of time, simply sliced potato cooked on the hotplate, bland nothing "Siam" or anything else about them. A thick onion slice on the hotplate, not even caramelised or spiced, hopeless. Asparagus and courgette pretty good. Fillet steak would have been much better thinly sliced, marinated and cooked on the hotplate for a few seconds. Fried rice excellent. Jumbo prawns excellent. The chef should really think more about what he's cooking, very easy to take things to a much higher level. Won't be rushing back.

Lovely staff, great atmosphere and value for money. We want to the teppanyaki restaurant. My boyfriend is gluten free and they catered to him very well, chefs were very entertaining too!

Absolutely fantastic theatre of food! The entertainment incorporated in the preparation of the meal lightened and lifted the atmosphere across the restaurant. The skillful preparation and presentation of the perfectly cooked meal completed a sensational experience. From the welcoming, friendly and professional service of the house staff to the expert skill of the chefs - this was an experience not to be missed. So much fun, excellent food - cannot recommend Siam Thai & Teppan-Yaki enough. Totally loved every second of it.

I have been eating at this place since 2015. Never disappointed. They have kept their service level and food quality. Also, they can deliver food but I recommend eating in. Excellent Thai food and even better sushi.

Siam Thai & Teppanyaki Restaurant Torremolinos Super new Thai Restaurant 956518288 In Plaza Independencia in the heart of Torremolinos this is a really good spot for a solo visit as watching the constant parade of passers by relieves the need for phones or books and being Torremolinos, the parade is fascinatingly different to most towns. That is no good though if the food isn´t up to it and here it certainly was. The restaurant is new and excellent addition to the town and now we have two really good Thai restaurants (at least that I have tried, there may be others). I began with a prawn starter of four enormous prawns on skewers with a corn and mango salsa and a dipping sauce. This was followed by a vegetarian green curry which was a little spicier than those I have had before but very delicious. With it a jasmine rice dish. I only drank water and the bill was 27 euros which I thought good value. P.S. My other top Thai restaurant is Tinn Thai in Pueblo Blanco

Cancelled a birthday booking i made months ago three days ahead so they can close early to watch FOOTBALL? incredibly unprofessional and my birthday spoiled. Won’t be visiting again.

This has been a firm favourite of mine in chester for the last 15 years. The building is gorgeous, the staff are friendly and the food is 2nd to none. Amazing, authentic Thai food with 2 floors to choose from - Thai or tapenyaki. I've been here for special occasions and quick lunches and it's never disappointed me. The food is fragrant and fresh with loads of vegan dishes. Today I had the salt and pepper mushrooms and the Thai green curry, all vegan and spoiled for choice. The prices are very reasonable and they do a great weekday lunch offer (1 course for £10/2courses for £14). Service was quick, I was able to order and eat well within my lunch hour. Love this place so much. Thank you Siam for offering so many tasty vegan options!

Food overall was great however the chowmein I was told it doesn’t come with noodles therefore forcing you to order a side such as rice and then the chicken just comes out in a noodle nest. Service was not so good nobody checked if the food was ok or asked for our drinks orders so had to get up four times. The worst was at the end of nearly a £300 bill despite the lack of service we left a tip however on a busy race day in Chester as we left we were chased by a man down the street shouting that we owed them £56 when in actual fact recalculating we overpaid by £26 which was the tip! Very embarrassing and wouldn’t go again for that reason alone.

Delicious food and wonderful service. Lovely ambiance in the upstairs Thai restaurant. The teppanyaki is downstairs and this would be for larger parties who enjoy the food cooked in front of them but for couples I would say the Thai is the best.

Overall experience was OK but I've had better Thai food, even in Chester itself. The Pad Thai lacked that fresh flavoursome 'wow' factor you expect from quality Thai cuisine. The massaman, although fairly good, was in no way outstanding.

Visited for a birthday meal with my partner. We opted for the 'Emperor' set menu which was great value for money. The service team were very helpful and friendly, and the teppanyaki chefs were amazing. An awesome experience overall and we hope to return soon and bring along some friends, too. Truly fabulous Thai food which was tasty without being overly spicy. Portion sizes were larger than many other Thai restaurants that we have visited but this was reflected in the price (which was still not expensive).

Great place, atmosphere and of course the food. The chefs are also really fun to watch cook. 🍳 highly recommend.

Great food and excellent service. A really good entertaining experience. Perfectly cooked duck and pork fillet. Only downside is that every dish comes with the same potatoes, rice and veg so return visits could get repetitive.

My friend and I came here for the Thai part of the restaurant. The service was great and the food was absolutely impeccable. Even the prawn crackers and dips were absolutely delicious. Would definitely come again if we were in the area!

Had a Teppanyaki lunch, chef was nice but the service was so rude!!! They didn’t ask us whether we want desserts after the main meal, we were just sitting there with empty plates trying to catch the attention. Not a smile from the service staff, not a thank you either. Location and chefs are good.

This is a seriously good restaurant. Have eaten here twice on trips to Chester: once downstairs in the “teppanaki” but and once upstairs in the Thai place which is up there with the best Thai I’ve eaten. Especially recommend crispy pork belly dishes and papaya salad. Only bum note a pineapple fritter for pudding made with coconut flakes in the flour. But then I don’t like coconut.

As a big family, we loved our time here. The food is cooked in front of you and cooked to how you like it. The staff were fantastic and very entertaining. That's very much needed when you have a group of children. The food tasted amazing and we left very full. We would definitely return.

A fantastic meal and experience delivered at the best Thai restaurant in Chester and one of the eeyy best anywhere . We visited to celebrate my birthday and we can't thank the management and staff enough for making it such a very memorable evening .The quality of the food and service was awesome. Every choice was beautifully presented and so deliciousespecially the Thai Massaman Lamb shank . Highly recommend this dish and the restaurant.The staff did a wonderful birthday tribute with Thai gongs and ice cream surprise.Many many thanks to you all .

The reason I keep returning is I have never had a bad meal. It truly is one of the best Thai restaurants and the service is great too. The massaman curry is the best I have ever tasted.

I've been here so many times over the past ten years and often treat myself to a takeaway out too. Literally never had a bad or even mediocre meal. The food is fantastic, clearly prepared with love and passion. The service is always wonderful; friendly, attentive and never feel rushed. And the restaurant itself has a lovely ambience. My favourite Thai restaurant by a mile.

What an incredible experience, we went to the Teppanyaki dinner with 2 other couples so we made up half the table but there were couples as well all sat on a large square horseshoe table, if that makes sense, with a chef in the centre cooking on a large grill. You ordered exactly what you wanted and the accuracy and quality of cooking was amazing. Add the theatre of the chef with his comedy antics and juggling skills including audience participation made it a dining experience second to none. If you want a romantic quiet dinner, its not the place but if you want a unique dining experience with high quality food and wine then give it a go, you won't regret it.

This is a wonderfully entertaining eating experience - 15 or so can sit around a cooking grill - the chefs are worth the moment all on their own - their juggling skills complement the excellent food which is prepared before you - some hilarious moments - the eggs being "thrown around" the chips being thrown into your mouth - and the service is also fantastic - highly recommended for a real fun night out with lovely food ... and if course an Afogato to finish

Amazing place, love it, spoil the kids, it has the lot.

Beautiful family Christmas get together, lot's of family gathered here and all our meals arrived at the table simultaneously, elderly parents escorted up and down in the lift nothing was too much trouble. I have been here before and previously sat at the grill which was also a great experience. Really think this is one of the best restaurants in Chester.

What a great restaurant !! The vegetable tempura, squid and meat teppanyaki reminded us of Japan !! The staff's performance was amazing, and even my shy daughter enjoyed it. At noon, there was a lunch menu and a children's menu. I'd love to go again for another anniversary.

The best Thai restaurant in Chester.

Easily the best restaurant in Chester. We go here often and the food is always outstanding. The atmosphere is great and the staff really friendly. On the food side, the vegetable tempura and satay are really good. The egg fried rice is the best I have had. I always get the chicken teriyaki, but my family get all the different meat and really enjoy. For vegetarians they have option but also there are even more options on the Thai menu which you can have in the Teppanyaki Restaurant as well. Great fun and will continue to visit.

Had a big group booking and our waitress, Natasha, handled it superbly. Food came out quickly, was really tasty and it was all priced really well too.

This was our first visit and it won’t be our last, the atmosphere was great food amazing and the staff was amazing. We had a great experience and will be going again soon. The Red Thai (prawn) curry was out of this world.

Probably the worst imitation of a Thai restaurant. I was in Thailand in October for 2 weeks so I know what Thai food is like. No way was thus Thai food. I ordered stir fried noodles. Along came a pile of soggy mush. I complained and they replaced it with stir fried rice. Never have I received such a heap of congealed rice. The main course was different to the starter in description. In reality it was the same overspiced rubbish. Avoid this place. You gave been warned.

Friend had the crispy duck, said it was lovely. I had the salt & pepper ribs tasted ok but a bit dry for me as deep fried in I think breadcrumbs. We both had the same main which I have to say was very tasty. Chicken & cashew with dried chillis. My friend does not do spice (I do) so requested hers minus the chilli. Both came with no chillis whatsoever (good for her though) and for a cashew dish 3 cashew was seriously not enough - but so tasty forgiven to a degree

Ten years since my last visit. The welcome, service and food were as amazing as I remember. As far as I am concerned this is the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to. Hopefully it won’t be another 10 years before I get to visit again. Wish I lived nearer!!

Was a but skeptical as I had never had Tappanyaki before, Oh my days! It was amazing food, very polite staff and very well priced!

The fisherman soup and starters were delicious but the beef main dish was over done to my liking.

We were a group of 16 lads who’d originally been planning a day at the races which was cancelled last minute. We booked for the afternoon to take a break from drinking. The staff couldn’t of been more welcoming, which isn’t always the case when a large group turn up. The guys cooking were fantastic and got everyone involved. Food was great , highly recommend this place such lovely people.

First time visiting and loved every bit of our meal, not only is it delicious but the service matches. I definitely recommend the sharing starters and prawn crackers, best way to start your meal.

Service and food was great but the bill arrived with a £20 + charge for drinks that we did not have. As soon as we queried this it was blamed on a fictitious new member of staff. My wife chatted to another customer who was not happy and said shed also been over charged by £20 +. Had this been later in the evening we would not have noticed. Check your bill!

Very easy to find beautiful converted warehouse . Thai restaurant upstairs, Teppanyaki restaurant downstairs. Staff brilliant and very friendly. We had one of the set menus in the Teppanyaki at £38 a head, in hindsight for us this was too much food. Taking tips from people around us it’s better to eat off the a la carte. The chefs are great and a real laugh. Catching eggs in his hat and flicking fried potatoes. Wonderful to watch the skills with very sharp nice.
