Wonderful evening, food and service were excellent

Not had a restaurant meal since the lockdown but picked up last night a meal for my mum & dad and also for my husband and I. Rang and paid and the meal was ready to collect at the agreed time. All safe distance protocol taken. We had a fantastic meal and I have just spoken with Mum who said they thoroughly enjoyed it. Perfect ‘lockdown’ Thursday night in.

Our second visit to Chows on Chinese New Year and just as fabulous. Food was absolutely first class as always, as was the service. Entertainment was great too. Thoroughly recommend.

Nice food, good service, a little expensive so not an " every week or two" place to visit for us. Nice views over River Dee to Welsh hills - if you get a table by the window !

Always great food and service. Every visit is a delight and the staff are so helpful and happy. Always do the banquets as we go as a large group and yet never seem to wait to be served.

This is hard to describe, because not all Chinese places in my experience had a "banquet"option like they do here. It’s simply 3 courses, plus soup, especially in a large party at your table. [4-6]. Highly recommend this. Make a reservation for this, they give you 2plus hours at the table. But the food was great, every course from the soup. Btw, you choose the banquet you prefer. service was great, people friendly, and I didn’t find any unattended children as I read on this site, and while busy, we were well cared for, and food was simply excellent. Not cheap per person, but it will be a special night and worth it. You can also just order your favorite dishes without the banquet.

Luckily we were turned down from many restaurants as we had not made a booking. We ended up eating here and were made to feel more than welcome. The staff were amazing and couldn't do more for you. Food was brilliant and it was a speedy service.

we went to parkgate for fish and chips but we went too late and it was shut so one of our party wanted food and NOW!!! so she chose this restaurant which was open, It was a truly excellent meal, though it was slightly more than fish and chips in cost it was excellent quality and well worth the cost. Will definitely go again.

Wow what a fantastic find! All your favourite starters in a set menu, plenty to eat and the quality of the food is fabulous. Tina was our host and what a very lovely lady, really looked after us. Excellent place for a meal whether it is lunch or evening meal . The food is of a very high standard and excellent quality. The staff greet you on arrival and are very friendly and knowledgeable. If you have never been to a Chinese restaurant before this is a good one to start with. They are have an excellent wine selection and are very knowledgeable about it. This is certainly a Chinese restaurant to try. Also the views are excellent if you are sitting by the windows. One not to miss.

As a last minute booking the helpful team at Chows weren’t able to offer a table in the main restaurant, but they suggested Chows Meeting House as an alternative. The Meeting House proved to be a great substitute with tasteful décor and booth style seating which was perfect for our group as we were able to have our own space chatting freely without disrupting fellow diners. Whilst the Meeting House menu doesn’t offer the full variety as the main restaurant we were still spoilt for choice with great tasting mixed starters, dim sum and an extensive veggie selection too. As usual the staff were faultless and the food was fabulous. If you haven’t been before it’s simply a must.

We love Mr. Chows Eating House and were keen to experience dim sum at the relatively new Mr Chows Meeting House (aka Champagne Bar). We were not disappointed, the food is superb, tasty, fresh, piping hot, great variety of dishes, service is excellent, great atmosphere. Puts London equivalents to shame! Essential to book in advance!

We've been to Chows on a number of occasions and as usual the food is fabulous. Yes it's not the cheapest Chinese food but the food and service is exceptional. We went with visiting family, one of whom is veggie, they were absolutely amazed with the selection and variation of food. To be honest they said it was the best Chinese they had ever had! Go try it yourself, you won't be disappointed!!

Came here with family and had a banquet, which was about the only choice. The restaurant is right on the promenade in Parkgate, pity the views over the River Dee were limited from inside. Staff were friendly, but the restaurant has been here for years and needs a bit of decoration. Food was OK, a bit on the expensive side but put that down to location.

Wonderful old school Chinese restaurant. Can not praise it high enough for food and service. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic place, always consistently good food. Great for a family get together or a friend's gathering. Especially love the champagne bar and choice of cocktails. You must book quite far in advance though as always hard to get a table.

The food at this establishment is a little expensive but it is incredibly nice. Always hot and tasty. The service is second to none.

Chows Eating house has been here for years, but last year they opened up the meeting house which is attached. They sell dim sum and some other smaller dishes. I have been a few times and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Visited Chows Eating House for a Chinese Banquet we had a delicious meal with chicken and sweet corn soup, gorgeous din sum not to mention the crispy duck. We had chicken and spring onion and fillet steak Cantonese

More expensive than other Chinese restaurants, but the food is generally excellent and the service is professional. Our family has been going for decades and I can’t remember ever being disappointed.

I have never been disappointed with Chows Restaurant or Meeting House. The Meeting House adjacent & attached to the main restaurant provides wonderful atmosphere, service and the best Chinese tapas, snacks for all. Snack is probably the best description as the sharing platters are fabulous. Good selection of bottled beers, Champagne and Wine for all tastes!! Great family run business!!

Celebrating a family birthday,so impressed. Food was plentiful, wide variety and service beyond expectations. Would the this place for authentic Chinese food and atmosphere. Not cheap but worth every penny.

Pleasant place nice location was very hurried similar to mr Chows always feel rushed by staff seems like they just want your money and in to the next customer I have heard a lot of people say the same thing about the restaurant

We had our family birthday at Chows Meeting House. Champagne and cocktails first proceeded by an amazing array of Chows appetizers.

Celebrated my sons' 18th birthday at Chows. There were 12 of us. The service was superb. The food absolutely exquisite. We all had banquets and there was plenty to eat for everyone. Vegetarians and vegans were in our party. They even organised a Vegan birthday cake from Zuggers for my son. Which was yummy. Rang the gong and sang Happy Birthday to him. Thanks to all the chefs and staff who made my son's birthday an evening to remember.
