1st time visiting since my brother gave it great feedback so booked in for the Thursday nite special with wife daughter and father-in-law and all us said same was excellent service and food was amazing we have recommended to others we will be back and be booking again very soon A***

We have ordered all vegetarian. The food taste was good and the price to quantity ratio was also decent. On the whole the experience was excellent.

Me and my fiancè visited tonight, our waitress was Indu, who was very attentive made sure we had everything we need. Towards the end of our meal she also had a trainee with her who I saw her encourage. A credit to your restaurant and we will definitely return again! Thankyou.

Delicious food — so creative, fantastic flavours, and great variety. This is some of the most original Indian cooking we’ve had. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you notice a grumpy review elsewhere (unhelpful comments about hygiene and service), there was one table during our visit which was making a fuss over nothing and acting disrespectfully to the staff. We found all aspects of this restaurant to be a real delight.

Really lovely food … friendly staff .. tucked away restaurant treat . Had kofte meatballs in a rich spicy tomato sauce .. absolutely beautiful.. amazing flavour … others had prawn curry with tasty rice & flat bread .

Lovely place - great food with the staff making doubly sure you’re happy with what’s been ordered. The staff are so friendly and attentive, it’s another level. It’s a very cosy and nice place to eat too. Would highly recommend.

This is as authentic as it gets. Tucking into that lamb biryani was like being transported back home to Mumbai in India…..packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. We also had the Vada Pau and the Pani Puri both served so beautifully and once again 100% authentic Indian street food. Having lived in England for 20 years and tried gazillions of “Indian” restaurants all over the country I can genuinely say Chef de Mumbai is the only restaurant that truly delivers for taste as well as for Indian hospitality (the owners were so welcoming). Thank you so much for an amazing evening!

A lovely meal before the theatre. Stefano looked after us and was kind and attentive throughout. The food was delicious!

Fabulous food. My only complaint is that the staff were a little too enthusiastic topping up drinks and removing plates.
