Jai Lounge in Fylde

We were recommended to try Jai Lounge by a friend who said it was exceptional. Went on a Friday lunchtime and sampled off the street menu. Service was faultless, food was of the highest quality. Notable was the Monkfish and the Classic Onion Bhaji. We plan to return to sample the main menu in the evening soon.

Food was ok, more geared to western pallette. Cocktails are nice. My mum is vegetarian and there was limited choice of starters so asked for vegetable pakoras - the price they charged was quite steep. Daughter had mocktails which is just a mixture of fruit juice. The cost was over £6 for this. It had no alcohol in it and it was not freshly squeezed juice. I can understand that food is expensive at the moment but I cannot justify the prices and portions served at this place. Shame really, as it would have been nice to have a good local curry place.

This place really is a little gem. Food is absolutely gorgeous and the owners/staff are so courteous and polite. I hesitate to share as I don't want it to become too busy almost! Great value for money. Wonderful.

What great food!!! My family attended for a meal having been in lytham. This is what good quality food is about. Tasty, no one thing tastes the same and not flooded with colouring.. We have been to many restaurants around the uk and the food, atmosphere here stands out as one of the best. Genuine indian chefs serving real indian cuisine. The flavours literally dance in your mouth, the meat quality makes you believe everywhere else I go the wuality is poor…This is a michelin style and 7 star restaurant. Its magic and has the all wow factor….We will be back!

Had an amazing experience at Jai Lounge, the food is incredible and you can really tell the chef has put time and effort into the ingredients and cooking of the dishes, we had the street food snacks menu and have also been back to try the main food menu and it's all just amazing quality Indian food, would 100% recommend everyone to try.

Tonight was our second visit to the Jai Lounge, the first for coffee and snacks at lunchtime and then again tonight for a meal. On both occasions the service, food and wine has been excellent, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, would recommend.

Fabulous food. Gives an exquisite eating experience. All of the individual ingredients can be tasted. Staff are lovely and will explain what everything is. A jewel in St. Annes' crown.

Most authentic Indian food on the Fylde Coast. Starters are excellent and good portion sizes. The roti /naan are from a tandoor which makes a difference with taste and texture Biryani was amazing Friendly staff and owner Ambience is fantastic Overall a *****

Service and atmosphere good but don't understand all the rave reviews for the food. Very overpriced, £14 for 7 pieces of chicken and £12 for a lentil dhal. Neither of which were that amazing.

My first visit to Jai Lounge with three girl friends. I love Indian food and these dishes were totally unique compared to any Indian restaurants I have visited, flavours were subtle and beautiful spices without the heat, pieces of meat and fish were huge. Loved it so much , just booked to take my husband for our anniversary.

Here for a good review. The atmosphere and serving are really good. The passion cocktail is amazing. My friend who never take aubergine are sold for the fried aubergine . It is amazing. Great texture without feeling oily or the mushy aubergine taste ( u know what I mean). However , I would like to have more variety inside in the meat ( as while the meat is beautiful cooked with right texture , it taste more or less the same. But I guess one have to consider it is mostly westerner customers who frequented here). All in all; this is definitely a beautiful addition to St Anne’s dining scene .

Went with my partner yesterday evening and had a lovely time, really authentic Indian flavours and well presented, the waiter was so accomodating and helpful , the customer service exceeds all expectations.

A client of my wife suggested Jai Lounge knowing Indian is my favourite type of food. All I can say is wow!! If anyone wants to know how to run a great Indian restaurant, come here. These guys are masters. By far the best indian I've ever had. I actually asked for something not on the menu (a lamb vindaloo) which they kindly did. It was amazing. Perfection. They have made a regular [customer] in me.

Exceptional service, for example korma isn't on the menu, but when my partner asked if they had anything similar, they offered to make up a korma for her. Very tasty food, very well cooked, very moist and succulent chicken and the lamb was fabulous. Maybe not the cheapest, but still extraordinary value.

You will be well looked after here. Tasty food suitable for all the family. It was a little pricey for the portion sizes but the service and experience was great, and the food very good. Definitely recommend!

What a great little restuarant, we had a great meal and a nice bottle of Red served by Ben. He was an excellent waiter, polite and knowledgeable about the whole menu. They are planning to nearly double the size by taking over the next door unit, I hope it retains its unique charm and quality. It is a pity its not on the main footfall thoroughfare, but it will be kept very busy by word of mouth, we are already planning a return visit with friends.

What a find! Blown away by just how good this place is. The food was clearly fantastic quality and very fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Tandoori platter, Smoked chicken and Pear Salad and the utterly scrumptious Crispy Aubergine as a side. Service was wonderful and the decor makes it a very relaxed and beautiful dining experience. I highly recommend and will most definitely be back with friends for more luxurious lunches.

This was the nicest food I have had in a long time. Waiters were exceptional andincredibly attentive. The owner was lovely, came and checked in on us, got us to try a new chutney they were trialling. Will definitely come again

Wow, some of the best food I've eaten in a while. A wonder relief from the endless Mediterranean restaurants that seem to dominate Lytham St.Annes. The Kashmiri Dum Aloo was divine.

Dined last night and had a lamb dish and oh my god it was good, the lamb was top quality. The atmosphere was amazing too and decor was well thought out with a beautiful tree as the centre piece. Finally the owner Ben was the perfect host with a talented team around him. Great concept, just wish we had one in Manchester

This is the best restaurant I have experienced in many years From the moment you enter until the time you leave the service atmosphere and high quality food are a joy. I ordered the Chilli chicken which was perfection followed by the kashmir Lamb which was tender and full of taste this was accompanied by the best naan I have ever tasted. My 2 friends also chose great starters and mains and were equally delighted with the whole experience. I cannot recommend the Jai more highly We will return

Visited at lunch time today, ordered four different plates from the street menu. My compliments to the chef! The food was delicious, top quality and fresh. The spices tasted amazing, didn't overpower the food, a real delight. The service was excellent, staff very pleasant. It will be one of my top places to dine in St Annes. Highly recommended. Well done!

Utterly fantastic! Beautiful place with a lovely relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Service is possibly the best I've ever had in the UK, made us feel really special right from booking. Waiting staff just lovely, always available but never intrusive and were so playful with the baby! Food is divine. Proper authentic South Asian dishes, great portion sizes, great choice of dishes, fragrant, hot and packed full of flavour. Will definitely be returning, highly recommended!

Went for a meal here on Friday whilst staying in Lytham for a few nights. Really nice place. Only small so would recommend booking in advance to make sure you get a table. Food was very tasty and friendly staff.

After a number of recommendations my wife and I dined at Jai Lounge last weekend! We couldn’t fault a thing. We shared a seafood platter starter which was delicious and so fresh. Both mains were exceptional with depth and layers to the flavours (the lamb just melted!). Must also give a shout out to the cocktails and wine list. So much attention to every detail! We can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough!

It is absolutely one of the most delicious fusion meals I have had. And the best nan bread I have ever had. Will definitely return. 💯

Omg we went tonight for out anniversary the food was the best Indian I have tasteful in a long time we had about 4 dishes and saffron pilau rice it was a pure delight . All the waiters are amazingly friendly and helpful and polite. The owner himself came to speak to us and he is lovely. Just an amazing new little gem we have in our beautiful town. Lovely little restaurant. Tastefully decorated with a warm welcome. Friendly staff that were very attentive. A small menu which was nice as some are so big you get overwhelmed. The presentation, quality of food and flavor was top notch. A good selection of drinks, wine's, champagne and tap beers. Guys had Hobgoblin. We'll definitely be back again. 💜

Beautiful, authentic Indian food. Prices slightly higher than average in a local Indian restaurant but quality and freshness of food more than compensates. The mixed starter was cooked to perfection and the chicken biryani was stunning. Great service and look forward to returning soon.

My first visit the place was very empty, food was delicious and the young staff were friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed it so decided to take my in-laws after telling them how great the food was. Chose to use the online booking facility on their website. DO NOT USE THIS!! We arrived to find we did not have a booking, when we mentioned to the owner we used their website booking system we were told it does not work and they would be taking it off...just been on the website to find it is still on there!!! Disappointed in the first instance that no one responded to our booking to let us know it doesn't work and secondly to find they have not taken it off the website.

What a fabulous gem of a place, from attentive service, funky yet relaxing restaurant decor to the food everything was delivered perfectly & tastefully. Not many places can hit this sweet spot...wanting to come back again very soon. The food we chose included fried aubergines! why have I not tried these before, chilli paneer, cooked to perfection & fresh, followed by monk fish, biryani, its not often naan breads get a mention, but these are delicate, light & fluffy, not stodgy and doughy. Tired a tantalizing Mix of starters & street snacks, even the mains had a flavour twist & definatley none of the food had off the shelf curry pastes... traditional rich & freshnest of ingredienst added to the overall experience....every item was presented beautifully. I could go on and on....well done Jai Lounge & Ben especially for being attentive.

Fabulous first time experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole vibe.

The restaurant has had superb reviews since opening so it was a must to visit and sample the cuisine. We were not disappointed. The food was exceptional. Ben and his team have added another exciting element to the great food already available in St Annes and helped to lift the quality to another level. The fresh ingredients and the quality of the cooking shines through. The food was amazing and is as good if not better than anything I have tasted in the best restaurants in India. Well done and thank you to Ben and his team.

Well what can I say about Jai Lounge what a fantastic place this is I came with my partner here and it was fantastic as soon as we went through the door to being greeted by the manager and a shake of hands to be showen to our table the food is absolutely out of this world the manager told us the spices are all imported from India and no food colourings either the cocktails are to die for even got a free one at the end of the night the atmosphere was perfect even had abit of a cocktail show on with bottles up in the air and all the other tricks an all around fantastic night here and I can't wait to book again thankyou so much jai Lounge see you again very soon.

Lovely summers night and out for a few drinks with a friend. Passed this place, heard it was opening, but hadn't realised it was open yet. We stopped by on the off chance there was a spare table. We ended up outside, sat in the sunshine of the terrace/raised decked area! Curried monkfish starter was incredible! I had Rara Lamb and garlic bread to share. Couldn't fault the good or the service. The owner brought out a new pasta starter the chef had been working on and gave us one each to try. They, too, were absolutely gorgeous! Will definitely visit again, I've a feeling you're going to have to book early if you want to eat there as it's going to be busy! Can't wait to tale the partner when we get a chance!

Just had lunch and it was amazing. I had the shrimp burger and my husband had the chicken burger. We also had an extra portion of masala fries. The food was all freshly cooked and delicious and Ben the waiter was extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. The decor and attention to detail in the cutlery, tableware and furnishings made the whole experience even more special. The draft beer was also delicious. We will definitely be back soon to try the evening menu.

When I first entered I knew it was going to be a completely different experience of the cuisine I love so much (little did I know I could love it more) from the perfect fusion of terrific fresh food , evident in both it's taste and how it sits on the pallet, to the great music, service and cocktails. I will certainly be coming back at lunch time to try their street food menu ! I think it's served from 11am to 4pm, and then evening 5pm to 11pm, I'll be in from 11am to 11pm! Thank you Jai Lounge for this sensation of flavour and experience, I truly never knew any food could taste the way it does here, truly sensational. Time to branch out!

Third visit to this recently opened restaurant The lunchtime ‘street food’ menu is highly recommended. We have tried a number of different dishes and they have all been delicious

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch. The restaurant is welcoming and comfortable, service is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The quality of the food was exceptional - from the generous (huge prawns!) and delicious starters, through the warmth of the spices in the mains through to the desserts - enjoyed by members of our party who still had room! The chef was very willing to adjust levels of heat in the dishes, what shone through for me was the quality of the ingredients and the great cooking - the fish in the chettinad was beautifully cooked monk fish, the Kashmiri lamb was perfectly spiced yet you could still taste fabulously tender lamb. I am looking forward to going back...

Went for the first time with my friend. It didn't disappoint. Great decor, comfortable chairs. We were served by Ben (junior) who couldn't do enough for us. He was polite, chatty & friendly. He helped us go through the tapas lunch menu. Fantastic food & excellent service. Compliments to the chefs & to everyone who looked after us. Had a lovely bottle of wine, followed by a few Bacardi & cokes. If you haven't tried it, book now & give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Foodie heaven. The attention to detail is incredible; every dish had carefully weaved fresh-flavours, without relying on too much heat. Stylish, with a welcoming atmosphere, run by people who take real pride in excellence. This place is so good I’m reluctant to tell you about it - especially as the decking gets the afternoon sun and they have a professional creating new cocktails. Full of surprises. Now don’t go telling anyone else.

My friend and I went to Jai lounge for a meal and the food was delicious. We had Kashmiri Lamb with a Garlic Naan and Dum Pukht Gosht and shared between us. Both dishes were delicious and the lamb was perfect and tender. They had Peroni and a Rekorderlig on draught. We will return

Another visit to this wonderful new restaurant this is our third time twice in an evening and once at lunch time when the menu is Indian street food . Every dish we have tried is to a very high standard you can taste the love and passion and the skill of the chef. Also the wine's we have had each time have been delicious.
