First time we been on a Sunday and it was Easter Sunday so we decided to give cooking a miss. As we had never been on Sunday, we didn't realise there is a special menu which was extremely good value with no compromise on portion size. Owner is always super friendly and made us so welcome with our grandson who enjoyed his first curry experience. Great food Great atmosphere Great prices We have already booked to go back

Just really enjoyed our dinner at Imli on a very busy Wednesday evening so booking recommended , chicken dhansak was lovely as was the vegitable sides of cauliflour bhaji & tarka dhal , excellent table service from Ripon & paige and special thanks to Shaz for a lovely evening , highly recommended .

Very good Indian restaurant lovely food Good service

We visited last night 3/4/24 , we was one of the last family’s in the restaurant as they got us a last minute booking. The staff are absolutely great, very attentive. The food was absolutely 10/10 . Delicious and perfect. Possibly the nicest Indian cuisine I’ve had. Would 100% recommend and will visit again when in lytham st Anne’s.

Had two wonderful meals I requested something not on the menu and was obliged graciously at a very reasonable price. We are returning on the 15/04/24 I would highly recommend

Busy curry house, excellent food, good service - impressed and I'm very choosy about my curry.

We are staying at the local travel lodge and really wanted some Indian cuisine. We ordered take out service and because we had a menu we received 20% off our order. The food was absolutely spot on, we would highly recommend. They even gave us a pickle tray, plates and cutlery as they knew we didnt have any. Thankyou 😊

Had a meal last night, table of 5. All chose different meals. The popadum and chutney tray was an indication of what was to come. The popdums fresh and a great selection of chutneys. We then had samosas, pakora and massive onion bhajis, all very fresh and delicious. Five different main courses , clean plates and one doggie bag, wasn’t leaving anything, rice and Nan bread. All commenting on the flavours and the freshness of it all. Drinks very reasonable, to the point when I came home I phoned to check they had been charged . Manager very attentive checking everything was ok. All in all a lovely night with great food and relaxing atmosphere.

This has got to be a jewel in St Annes. The food, service, and ambience are first rate....We booked in the day before, and although busy around the 6.00 pm time, we got in......What a place, first class...

We went to Imli last night for a friend’s birthday and the staff absolutely made our night! Everyone really enjoyed their curries, just the right portions and flavours. I made, what I now realise, being sober, was quite an odd request. I really wanted a vindaloo that wasn’t too spicy. The head chef rose to the challenge and even knocked me up a sample sauce to make sure it was to my taste and it was exactly what I had hoped for (I actually think they should consider putting it on the menu 😂). The waiter showed me a video of the chef doing a little victory dance in the kitchen, which had us in hysterics. Before we left they even brought the birthday boy some cake and sang happy birthday. Such a huge thank you to them all, they are superstars. I’ll look forward to seeing the medium-hot vindaloo on the menu in the future.

Another excellent visit for dinner at Imli. We enjoyed it so much a few weeks ago, we wanted to come back with my husband to show him how good the food is. It did not disappoint. Once again wonderful efficient and professional service and just really delicious food.... we all left very full and happy. We enjoyed a king prawn shashlik and land dansak mains with rice and the most delicious peshwari naan bread.... the rose wine is really good too... Thank you and see you all again soon.

If you like Indian food, this is the one to visit. You will not be disappointed! Recommend you book beforehand. Food and service first class. They do an Early Bird menu Monday-Thursday with an excellent menu choice. Portions are big and very tasty. Only wish we lived nearer and could visit more often.

Had poppadoms & pickles to start, chicken handi/ chicken dupiaza with veg pilau and garlic and coriander naan. Food was excellent, all fresh. Good sized portions and very reasonable. We visited last night as a couple. We haven’t been here for a while so thought we’d give a whirl again. It was always our favourite Indian but my word, it’s just got BETTER! I asked the lovely owner to recommend a chicken curry dish for me and he suggested Shatkora (asking me first if I liked a tangy flavour). I asked for it to be made a little more spicy and it was absolutely perfect. My partner had the Methi (lamb) and that was gorgeous also. I normally hate lamb in curry as I’ve always found it tough and mutton like but not the lamb here…it was tender and juicy and accompanied the dish perfectly. We also had the popadom tray, some onion bhaji and a mushroom bhaji side dish plus a garlic rice. All were amazing. Great portion sizes (we had enough to take home which they were happy to box up for us). All the staff were polite, friendly and efficient. All in all this was an excellent meal and a lovely buzzing atmosphere in the restaurant also. So happy this family restaurant is doing so well. We won’t leave it so long next time!

Visited on a Sunday, and opted for the Sunday special menu. Poppadoms arrived promptly with the chutney tray, and were lovely. Starters of mixed kebab and shahi Tokra chicken followed, and both were great portions, and absolutely delicious. We both had chicken bhuna, madras hot for main, accompanied by mushroom rice and a naan, and both meals were fantastic. The service was friendly and efficient, the staff are a credit to the restaurant. This restaurant has always been our go to for an Indian meal, and never disappoints. Highly recommend a visit when in the area

This restaurant was recommended to us and we visited for the 1st time this evening. We were not dissapointed! From the initial welcome to leaving the friendliness of the team & service was exceptional. The food was superb, really well presented & just how I like it. The garlic chilli chicken was 10*10* naan bread was cooked to perfection and not katcha ;) went down a treat mate. Proper appna style. Plenty of masala, great portions and fairly priced, that's exactly how I like my curry and you guys made it without me asking. Goes to show use are perfectionist. You should open a branch down here in longsight. Next time I go Blackpool I will be diverting over to your place again without doubt. Imli is an excellent Indian restaurant in stannes. There is a superb menu, with excellent range of starters, and the tandoori chef produces great chicken, ticka, and lamb chops. The naan, paratha, and vegetable dishes are superb. Beers and wines are good Imli is great...

Went for a family meal last night. Staff accommodating and very attentive. Food was awesome ( best I’ve had in a long time ). Ordered once again while on a visit from Manchester. We ordered the special mixed biryani with a madras sauce and saag sauce and it was absolutely divine. Lamb literally melted in your mouth and the pieces of meat were huge. Another reason this is our favourite restaurant.

We make the 40 mile trip to St Annes on a Sunday night at least twice a year and always make a point of eating here, taking advantage of the Sunday special menu. The choice, quality, service and value are hard to beat in my opinion. My friend and I had chicken Madras which was just hot enough without being uncomfortable. Our wives both had chicken with a milder sauce as recommended ( see below ). The staff are very polite and efficient. The head waiter, AJ, was new to us but is a fantastic addition to the staff. He was very knowledgeable about the food and was full of recommendations which is a must for people who aren't that familiar with curries. He also made, according to my wife and our two friends, the best Tia Maria coffee they had ever tasted. The owner also came over for a chat and we were discussing the Christmas day menu. Very tempting!

Appauling, would not reccommend, fries instead of chips and very soggy greasy ones , cold food after waiting 40 minutes for it , burnt naan bread(yet its cold) ordered a jalfrezi and it wasn't a traditional jalfrezi it had inside greenbeans,garden peas and sweet corn with bell peppers , not an ounce of spice . The best Indian I’ve ever tasted, I don’t live local but was visiting family and it was our first time after hearing great reviews. The food was incredible! The meat was so tender and melted in the mouth. I live an hour away but will be travelling back just for the curry alone.

We again visited twice in the 4 days we were in the area. The Imli continues to astound us with the quality of their dining and exceptional value for money. It is simply the best restaurant in the area. We look forward to visiting again in the near future.

We live within the local area and cannot believe we haven't come across this gem of a place before, I tell you what though - will definitely be returning. The best indian meal we have had in a long, long time. We had a chicken tikka and tandoori chicken starter. The chicken was so tender and full of flavour. Our mains provided excellent flavour and good portion size- the garlic nann bread was to die for. All food piping hot and plates warmed. Lovely little touches with the hot towel and complementary shot drink. Excellent service. Thank you Imli, I thought good food combined with great service and attention to detail was a thing of the past from recent experiences of eating out, but you have proved that theory wrong. We can't wait to return.

We live coming here when we are staying in St annes. There is so much variety in wood Street but this has to be one of our favourites

We booked the Imli for the 3 rd time we go when ever we are in Lytham st Anne’s area, this time was a family occasion to celebrate our wedding anniversary , we pre booked our meals the day before and everything was fast and spot on , great allergy advice as we have coeliacs and nut allergies in the family so this is important and we all ate with confidence, as for the food hot tasty and full of flavour and loads of choice . By far the best meal we had whilst on holiday in Lytham St. Anne’s! We ordered a chicken tikka masala and a vegetable bhuna with some garlic and mushroom rices. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender and soft. The sauce was sweet and creamy. The rice was rich and full of flavour. The vegetable bhuna had a touch of spice and you could really taste the tomato. We ordered Diet Coke and lemonade. Overall paid less than £20 each. The staff were really friendly and took us in at around 7pm on a Tuesday evening without a reservation. Very impressed! Too full to order a dessert but saw several being brought out (one of which contained ice cream with various chocolate sauces draped over it.) my only regret is that we didn’t have time to go back and order one later in the week! Spotted some chocolate squares which I figured would be the end of meal snack, but instead we were offered free tequila shots! Very reasonable price for the quality of the food. Will definitely be going back on our next visit!

Visited on a Thursday night with my husband. Fairly quiet when we arrived, but we were there at 5.30, place was almost full an hour later! Food was fantastic as always, we opted for option 3 on the early bird menu. Wonderful authentic quality dining with super friendly quick service from Shaj , Ronnie , Paige & Hasna . Chicken Dhansak , Vegitable Pillau , Tandoori Roti , Vegitable Jalfreizi , Sag Paneer ALL SUPERB . Imli is a very popular restaurant in the area with lots of loyal regulars and it's easy to see why . Highly recommended .

Wonderful restaurant! I booked a table for 17 for my mum's 80th birthday. They arranged 2 X balloon arrangements for the table free of charge. The food was fantastic! Everyone commented how nice the food was. I spoke with Shaz a few days before and emailed our menu choice. Everything was spot on. Food hot, quick service, friendly and good price too. I would highly recommend. Thank you to Shaz and the team for making it a special evening for my mum.

Absolutely loved it. Very friendly staff. Service was fantastic from start to finish. Food was fabulous. Kids are getting into curries via Kormas and said this was the best they've ever had. The passanda we both had was delicious. Super peshwari naan and pilau rice. Overall a wonderful evening meal to finish our week in st Anne's.

Went in here twice in 2 weeks for our birthdays. Food was excellent and the beer was cold. Service was a bit slow but they were busy both times we went in.
